Description

The present invention relates to a piece of furniture or household appliance according to the preamble of claim 1. The invention also relates to a method for assembling a functional unit of a push element in such a piece of furniture or household appliance.

Such furniture or household appliances, in the body of which at least one displaceably arranged sliding element, for example in the form of a drawer, is arranged, are known in numerous variants from the prior art.

The sliding elements are held displaceably in the body with the aid of pull-out guides and can be pulled out of or inserted into the body with the aid of the pull-out guides.

For convenient operation of the at least one push element, the pull-out guides or at least one of the pull-out guides are coupled to a functional unit, for example in the form of a self-closing mechanism or an ejector device or a tumbler.

Such a system is for example from the DE 10 2010 000 279 A1 or the DE 10 2011 052564 A1 known.

Another generic system is from the DE 31 35 222 A1 known. Here, a support element with cams is arranged in the side wall of the drawer, which can be latched onto indentations on a guide rail.

The problem with the furniture or household appliances known from the prior art is that, due to the arrangement of the various components, it must usually be determined when assembling the respective furniture or household appliance which type of functional unit is to be installed in the furniture or household appliance.

The respective functional unit must be installed together with the other components in the body of the furniture in order to perform the desired function.

The object of the present invention is to provide a piece of furniture or household appliance in which such a functional unit can also be installed subsequently in a simple manner.

Another object of the invention is to provide a method for the simplified assembly of a functional unit of a push element in a piece of furniture or household appliance.

The first object is achieved by a piece of furniture or household appliance with the features of claim 1 or claim 2.

The second object is achieved by a method having the features of claim 12.

The furniture or household appliance according to the invention has a body. At least one displaceable push element with two side walls is arranged in the body. Respective pull-out guides are arranged between the side walls of the push element and side walls of the body.

Each of the pull-out guides has at least one body rail that can be fastened to a side wall of the body and one running rail that can be fastened to the side wall of the sliding element that is designed as a side frame. The furniture or household appliance also has at least one functional unit coupled to one of the pull-out guides.

The at least one functional unit is detachably arranged in at least one of the side walls away from the pull-out guide and, in a predetermined position of the push element relative to the body, is in operative connection with a counter-element fixedly attached to the body or the body rail.

According to claim 1, in a rear end of the side wall in the opening direction of the push element, a receiving space open to a rear open end face for receiving the functional unit is formed, which enables the functional unit to be inserted from the rear end of the side frame in a simple manner.

In a closed position of the pushing element, the counter element is in contact with the functional unit through the rear open end face of the side wall.

This makes it possible to use the rear open end of the side wall both for the installation of the functional unit and for the engagement of the counter element with the functional unit installed in the side wall.

According to the alternative embodiment as claimed in claim 2, in a closed position of the push element, the counter element is in contact with the functional unit through the rear open end face of the side frame.

Both variants make it possible for the functional unit to be fastened in a simple manner in the side wall of the push element and also to be detachable again in a simple manner from this.

The arrangement of the counter-element on the body or on the body rail also enables a simple and, in particular, subsequent assembly of such a counter-element.

The arrangement of the functional unit in the side wall of the sliding element has the further advantage of a smaller construction of the pull-out slide to which the functional unit is attached in the above-mentioned prior art.

In particular, in the case of a push element designed as a drawer, the bottom of this drawer can protrude significantly deeper, in particular to the lower edge of the pull-out slide, which is not possible with functional units attached to the pull-out slide. As a result, the thrust element can have an enlarged stowage space.

Advantageous variant embodiments of the invention are the subject of the subclaims.

According to an advantageous embodiment of the furniture or household appliance according to the invention, the counter-element is arranged on a rear end of the body rail in the opening direction of the pushing element or an area of the body close to the rear end of the body rail.

According to a further advantageous embodiment variant, the counter-element is designed in at least two parts.

This enables the components of the counter-element to be assembled at different times in a simple manner.

For example, a base part of the counter element is attached to the cabinet rail or in the cabinet as standard. During the final assembly of the push element, a specific counter-element is connected to the base, depending on the function of the functional element.

Another advantage of such a variant is that no damage can occur to the counter-element due to protruding components of the counter-element during the transport of the pull-out slide.

According to a further advantageous embodiment variant, the functional unit is arranged in a double-walled area, not visible from the outside, between two wall areas of one of the side walls.

Alternatively, the functional unit can also be inserted into a corresponding receiving space from below or from the side or from above, if the outer wall element is designed to be displaceable or is only subsequently placed on the inner wall element.

Furthermore, at least one fastening element for releasably fixing the functional unit is arranged in this receiving space.

The at least one fastening element is preferably designed as a latching element for latching with at least one counter-latching element formed on the functional unit.

This enables such a functional unit to be installed or removed in a simple manner.

It is also conceivable, in the case of a side wall in the form of a side frame with a plastic core, to mold such fastening elements directly onto the side frame.

The same also applies to a housing or the like of the functional unit.

Other ways of fastening the functional unit in the side wall are also conceivable.

According to a preferred embodiment variant, the functional unit itself has a self-retracting device.

According to a further advantageous embodiment variant, the functional unit has an ejection device.

The functional unit can also have a damping unit that serves to dampen a pull-in movement.

According to a preferred embodiment variant, the counter-element is designed as an activator with a base part for attachment to the body or the body rail and a head part for engagement in the functional unit.

According to a further preferred embodiment variant, it is also conceivable that the functional unit has a tumbler which is used to releasably lock the thrust element in its closed position.

In the method according to the invention for assembling a functional unit of a sliding element in a piece of furniture or household appliance as described above, the at least one functional unit is passed through a rear open end face of the side wall or through a lower, lateral or upper open recess before the pull-out guides are installed on the side walls of the sliding element Side wall inserted and fastened.

The counter element is attached to the cabinet rail or the cabinet.

In the assembled state, the functional unit is not visible in the side wall, if necessary after the pushing element has been completed.

According to a preferred embodiment of the method according to the invention, a first part of a two-part counter element is permanently attached to the body rail or the body and, after the functional unit has been installed in the side frame, a second part of the counter element is fixed to the first part of the counter element.

In the following description of the figures, terms such as above, below, left, right, front, back, etc. relate exclusively to the exemplary representation and position of the furniture or household appliance, the body, the sliding element, the side wall, the pull-out guide selected in the respective figures, of the counter element and the like. These terms are not to be understood as restrictive.

In Fig. 1 the reference numeral 1 denotes an embodiment variant of a piece of furniture according to the invention.

The furniture 1 has a body 2, in the interior of which at least one push element 3, here in the form of a drawer, is mounted. It is also conceivable, instead of a piece of furniture 1, to provide a household appliance such as a refrigerator or freezer with such a push element 3, which is built into a body of the household appliance.

For the slidable installation of the thrust element 3, brackets 14 are attached, preferably screwed, to side walls 21, 22 of the body 2. As in Fig. 2 As can be seen, a body rail 51 of a pull-out guide 5 is attached to the legs of this bracket 14, which are horizontally aligned here.

The pull-out guide 5 is, for example, in FIG Fig. 3 is shown, received in a downwardly open receiving space 41 of a side wall 4 of the thrust element 3, which is designed as a side frame.

The side wall 4 is connected to the running rail 52 of the pull-out guide 5 via a fastening element 54. The push element 3 shown here also has a front wall 11, a rear wall 12 and a base 13.

The side walls of the thrust element 3 are designed as side frames, preferably with a double-walled structure.

In the case of sliding elements in household appliances in particular, the double-walled structure does not extend over the entire height of the side wall, but only in a partial area, for example in the upper third.

The pull-out guide 5 preferably has, in addition to the carcass rail 51 and the running rail 52, a center rail 53 arranged between the carcass rail 51 and running rail 52, as is shown, for example, in FIG Fig. 3 and 7th is shown. As in Fig. 2 Furthermore, as shown, a functional unit 6 is arranged in a rear region of the side frame 4.

This functional unit 6 is, as in Fig. 3 can be seen, received in a separate receiving space 42 of the side frame 4 and detachably arranged in the side frame 4 away from the pull-out guide 5.

As in Figure 4 As shown, the functional unit 6 is preferably arranged in a double-walled area, not visible from the outside, between two wall areas of one of the side walls 4.

As in the Figures 4 and 5 As shown, the receiving space 42 with the functional unit 6 arranged therein is covered by an outer wall 47 towards the body side wall 21, 22. The outer wall 47 preferably covers the entire side wall 4 towards the body side wall 21, 22.

The outer wall 47 is preferably bent over in a U-shape at its upper end and overlaps the outer wall 43 or the receiving space 42 below it.

Due to the arrangement of the functional unit 6 in the side wall 4 of the pushing element 3, especially in the case of a pushing element 3 designed as a drawer, the base 13 of this drawer can protrude significantly deeper, in particular to the lower edge of the pull-out guide 5, which increases the storage space of the pushing element 3 enables.

Furthermore, in the in Fig. 2 A counter-element 7, here in the form of an activator, is attached to the body rail 51. This counter element 7 is in operative connection with the functional unit 6 in a predetermined position of the push element 3 relative to the body 2.

As below in Fig. 3 As can be seen, the counter-element 7, which is designed here as an activator, has a base part 71 which can be inserted into an opening at the end of the body rail 51.

From this base part 71 a first arm 72 extends vertically upwards to over the running rail 52. A second arm 73 is formed on the end of the first arm 72 and extends over the running rail 52 in the longitudinal direction of the running rail 52 by a predetermined distance.

At the free end of the second arm 73, a head part 74 extends upwards, which engages upwards into the functional unit 6 arranged above the pull-out guide 5.

The functional unit 6 is in the Figures 6-8 The embodiment variant shown is designed as a self-retracting device 8.

The self-closing device 8, which is known per se, has a housing 81 to which a damping unit 82 is attached. A lever 84 is arranged at the front end of this damping unit 82 and has a recess for receiving the head part 74.

This lever 84 is mounted in a guide housing 85 with a guide groove 86 and is tiltable about a pivot axis oriented perpendicular to the opening direction x.

When the pushing element 3 is moved in the opening direction x, this enables the lever 84 in the guide housing 85 to move along a guide groove extending in the opening direction x, the guide housing 85 moving with the pushing element 3 in the opening direction x and the lever 84 by engaging with the Head part 74 of the counter element 7 is held in its position.

At the end of this guide groove 86, the guide groove 86 is designed as a crutch, so that the lever 84 is pivoted into a locking position and the head part 74 of the counter element 7 disengages from the lever 84 of the self-retracting device 8.

With the movement of the thrust element 3 in the opening direction x, a tension spring 83 fixed on the lever 84 and on the housing 81 is tensioned.

As soon as the thrust element 3 is then moved again from an open position into the closed position, the head part 74 of the counter element 7 comes into engagement with the lever 84 again from a predetermined position, releases it from its locking position and thus fixes it relative to the lever through the head part 74 Body 2.

The thrust element 3 is pulled into the closed position by the spring force of the tension spring 83.

The damping unit 82 thereby dampens the closing movement in order to prevent the pushing element 3 from striking the body 2 or the running rail 52 from striking the body rail 51.

In addition to the arrangement of such a self-retracting device 8 in the functional unit 6, it is also conceivable to integrate an ejector device or a tumbler in the functional unit 6 instead or in addition.

The functional unit 6 is preferably largely enclosed by an adapter housing 61 and can be installed as a whole in the receiving space 42 of the side frame 4.

For simple fixation of the functional unit 6 are, as in the Fig. 3 and 6th through 8, at least one fastening element 44 is arranged for releasably fixing the functional unit 6.

In the embodiment variants shown here, several such fastening elements 44 are arranged in the receiving space 42. Such a fastening element 44 is preferably designed as a latching element for latching with at least one counter-latching element formed on the functional unit 6.

As in the Figures 2 to 8 is shown, the counter element 7 is in a closed position of the thrust element 3 through the rear open end face 45 of the side frame 4 in contact with the functional unit 6.

In the case of the Fig. 9 and 10 In a closed position of the push element 3, the counter element 15 is in contact with the functional unit 6 through an opening 46 in an outer wall 43 of the side frame 4 facing the side wall 21, 22 of the body 2.

The opening 46 in the outer wall 43 of the side frame 4 is preferably designed in the shape of a slot, so that a counter-element 15 fastened to the body rail 51 or the bracket 14 protrudes perpendicular to the opening direction x into the slot. Here, too, the functional unit 6 is completely covered by the outer wall 43 except for the opening 46 designed as a slot for the engagement of the counter-element 15.

In the embodiment variants shown here, the counter element 7, 15 is designed as an activator with a base part 71, 151 for attachment to the body 2 or the body rail 51 and a head part 74, 152 for engaging the functional unit 6.

It when the counter-element 7, 15 is designed in at least two parts is particularly advantageous.

In this case, when assembling the functional unit 6 of a sliding element 3 in a piece of furniture or household appliance, after the pull-out guides 5 have been installed on the side frames 4 of the sliding element 3, the functional unit 6 can be inserted and closed, for example through a rear open end face 44 of the side frame 4 and attach the counter element 7, 15 to the body rail 51 or the body 2.

It is also conceivable to insert the functional unit 6 into a corresponding receiving space 42 from below or from the side or from above. For this purpose, it is conceivable, for example, to make the outer wall element 47 displaceable or to place it on the outer wall 43, which in this case is the inner wall element, only afterwards.

In the case of a multi-part design of the counter element 7, 15, the base part 71, 151 can be fastened in advance to the carcass rail 51, the bracket 14 or also to the carcass 2 itself and, after the functional unit 6 has been assembled, a second part of the counter element 7, 15, which forms the head part 74, 152 includes, mounted on the first part of the counter element 7, 15, in particular clipped.

This has the advantage that the activator arm 72, 73 in particular is not damaged during the transport of the pull-out guide 5.

Overall, the furniture or household appliance according to the invention results in a further simplified assembly, in particular with regard to the retrofitting of functional units, which can be carried out particularly easily by assembling in an opening in the side wall provided for this purpose.

Claims (13)

1. A piece of furniture or domestic appliance, comprising:

   - a body (2),

   - at least one drawer element (3) having two side walls (4) displaceably arranged in the body (2),

   - wherein respective pullout guides (5) are arranged between the side walls (4) of the drawer element (3) and side walls (21, 22) of the body (2),

   - wherein each of the pullout guides (5) comprises at least one body rail (51) fastenable on a side wall (21, 22) of the body (2) and a slide rail (52) formed as a side panel fastenable on the side wall (4),

   - at least one functional unit (6) coupled to one of the pullout guides (5),

   - the at least one functional unit (6) is releasably arranged in at least one of the side walls (4) remotely from the pullout guide (5),

   - wherein the functional unit (6), in a predetermined position of the drawer element (3) in relation to the body (2), is operationally connected to a counter element (7, 15) attached fixed in place on the body (2) or on the body rail (51)

   characterized in that

   in a rear end of the side wall (4) in the opening direction (x) of the drawer element (3), a receptacle space (42) open to a rear open end face (44) is formed to accommodate the functional unit (6), in which at least one fastening element (44) is arranged for the releasable fixing of the functional unit (6),

   wherein the counter element (7) is in contact with the functional unit (6) through the rear open end face (44) of the side panel (4) in a closed position of the drawer element (3).

The piece of furniture or domestic appliance according to the preamble of Claim 1, characterized in that the counter element (15) is in contact with the functional unit (6) in a closed position of the drawer element (3) through an opening (45) in an outer wall (43) of the side panel (4) facing toward the side wall (21, 22) of the body (2).

The piece of furniture or domestic appliance according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the counter element (7, 15) is arranged on a rear end of the body rail (51) in the opening direction (x) of the drawer element (3) or a region of the body (2) close to the rear end of the body rail (51).
4. The piece of furniture or domestic appliance according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the counter element (7, 15) is formed in at least two parts.
5. The piece of furniture or domestic appliance according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the functional unit (6) is arranged in a double-walled region so it is not externally visible between two wall regions of one of the side walls (4).
6. The piece of furniture or domestic appliance according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the fastening element (44) is formed as a catch element for locking with at least one counter catch element formed on the functional unit (6).
7. The piece of furniture or domestic appliance according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the functional unit (6) comprises a self-retractor device (8).
8. The piece of furniture or domestic appliance according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the functional unit (6) comprises an ejection device (8).
9. The piece of furniture or domestic appliance according to Claim 7, characterized in that the functional unit (6) comprises a damping (82) unit.
10. The piece of furniture or domestic appliance according to any one of Claims 7 to 9, characterized in that the counter element (7, 15) is designed as an activator having a base part (71, 151) for fastening on the body (2) or the body rail (51) and a head part (74, 152) for engaging in the functional unit (6).
11. The piece of furniture or domestic appliance according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the functional unit (6) comprises a locking unit.
12. A method for mounting a functional unit (6) of a drawer element (3) in a piece of furniture or domestic appliance according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein before mounting of the pullout guides (5) on the side walls (4) of the drawer element (3), the at least one functional unit (6) is inserted through a recess, in particular through a rear open end face (44), of the side wall (4) and fastened and the counter element (7, 15) is fastened on the body rail (51) or on the body (2).
13. The method according to Claim 12, wherein a first part of a two-part counter element (7, 15) is permanently fastened on the body rail (51) or the body (2) and after completed mounting of the functional unit (6), at least one second part of the counter element (7, 15) is mounted on the first part of the counter element (7, 15).
