Description

The invention relates to a retaining element for a protective wall according to the preamble of claim 1.

The restraining element or a protective wall made from several such restraining elements has a restraining function for motor vehicles and is particularly suitable for temporary installation to secure traffic routes, for example—and without limitation—to separate lanes on freeways in construction sites.

Such retaining elements are known in principle. Like the present retaining element, they generally have a wall body element that is approximately plate-shaped (flat and cuboid) and has a first, maximum, or constant, uniform width over the height of the wall body element. Furthermore, such retaining elements - as well as the present retaining element - comprise at least one positioning element, which positioning element is arranged on an underside of the wall body element intended for positioning the wall body element on a substrate and extends (laterally) beyond the first width.

Die EP 2 540 913 A2 offenbart eine Schutzwand aus miteinander verbundenen Schutzwandelementen zur Sicherung von Verkehrswegen, bei der ein Wandkörper an seiner Unterseite, die im aufgestellten Zustand der Schutzwand einem im Wesentlichen ebenen Untergrund zugewandt ist, eine Querschnittsverbreiterung quer zur Längserstreckung des betreffenden Schutzwandelements besitzt, the EP 2 540 913 A2 discloses a protective wall made of interconnected protective wall elements for securing traffic routes, in which a wall body has a cross-sectional widening transverse to the longitudinal extent of the relevant protective wall element on its underside, which faces a substantially level surface when the protective wall is in the erected state,

In order to produce a protective wall, it is necessary to arrange several (similar) retaining elements one behind the other in the longitudinal direction and to connect them to one another, preferably with the formation of a longitudinal bracing. For this purpose, at least one end-side connecting element is on the retaining element provided for a connection of the restraining element with a further restraining element.

The manufacturers of retaining elements are striving to design these or their wall body elements with ever smaller widths in order to take account of the regularly cramped space conditions in construction site areas. It is therefore provided in the present case that the connecting element is arranged in an area between an upper side of the installation element that faces away or is to be turned away from the ground, on the one hand, and a side surface of the wall body element, on the other hand, and extends, starting from the side surface of the wall body element, by a first dimension beyond the first width. Furthermore, it is provided that the connecting element, starting from the upper side of the positioning element, extends beyond this by a second distance away from the underside of the wall body element. The connecting element thus protrudes laterally in relation to the side face of the wall body element and upwards in relation to the upper side of the positioning element.

Such a protruding connecting element can represent an obstacle for a motor vehicle driving close to the restraining element and, in the event of a collision, damage the motor vehicle, in particular its tires, and damage the restraining element or the connecting element itself.

In addition to creating a restraining element with the smallest possible width of the wall body element, the invention is therefore based on the object of specifying a restraining element in which the risk of damage both to the restraining element itself and to a motor vehicle driving close to the restraining element is reduced.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that, in the retaining element described above, at least one anti-collision element is provided adjacent to the connecting element, which anti-collision element has a deflection surface facing away from the side surface of the wall body element and from the top of the positioning element and is arranged in such a way that the deflection surface extends obliquely to the side surface of the wall body element and obliquely to the top of the positioning element, so that in one In cross-section through the retaining element, an area defined by the deflection surface, the side surface of the wall body element and the upper side of the erecting element has a first dimension which essentially corresponds to the first dimension and a second dimension which essentially corresponds to the second dimension.

In a restraining element according to the invention for a protective wall with a restraining function for motor vehicles, in particular for temporary erection to secure traffic routes, for example to separate lanes in construction site areas, comprising: a wall body element with a first, maximum width; at least one positioning element, preferably one positioning element on each side, which positioning element is arranged on an underside of the wall body element intended for positioning the wall body element on a substrate and extends beyond the first width; at least one end-side connecting element for connecting the retaining element to a further retaining element, which connecting element is arranged in a region between an upper side of the erection element facing away or to be turned away from the ground on the one hand and a side face of the wall body element on the other. The connecting element extends beyond the first width from the side face of the wall body element by a first extent and extends beyond the first width from the top of the set-up element by a second distance away from the underside of the wall body element. At least one anti-collision element is provided adjacent to the connecting element, which anti-collision element has a deflection surface applied from the side surface of the wall body element and from the top of the installation element and is arranged in such a way that the deflection surface extends obliquely to the side surface of the wall body element and obliquely to the top of the positioning element, so that in a cross section through the retaining element, an area defined by the deflection surface, the side surface of the wall body element and the top of the positioning element has a first dimension that essentially corresponds to the first dimension, and a second dimension that essentially corresponds to the second measure corresponds.

When looking at the end face of the retaining element, the dimensions of the named area essentially correspond to an area such as it is defined by the first dimension and the second dimension, ie by the protruding connecting element. Due to its inclined arrangement, the deflection surface of the collision protection element ensures that the tire of a motor vehicle driving close to the restraining element is deflected or deflected and cannot collide head-on with the connecting element. This protects the tire itself on the one hand and the connecting element on the other.

A first further development of the retaining element according to the invention provides that an angle between the side face of the wall body element and the upper side of the positioning element is a right angle. In this way, the wall body element can be designed to be particularly narrow, and the positioning element ensures that the retaining element stands securely over the entire surface.

In another development of the retaining element according to the invention, it has proven to be advantageous if the deflection surface is designed in a trapezoidal or triangular shape in a top view, preferably isosceles-trapezoidal. Especially in the case of a right angle between the side surface of the wall body element and the top side of the positioning element, a deflection surface shaped in this way can be arranged particularly easily and favorably at an angle in the angular area between the side surface of the wall body element and the top side of the positioning element.

In yet another further development of the restraining element according to the invention, it can be provided that the collision protection element is arranged in such a way that its base sides and/or its base is/are arranged transversely to a longitudinal extension direction of the wall body element. In this context, the term "base" means the longer of the two parallel (base) sides of a trapezoid. Preferably the base faces the connector. The applicant has found that a particularly efficient diverting effect can be achieved in this way with a simple manufacturer's mark.

As part of an extremely advantageous development of the restraining element according to the invention, it can also be provided that the collision protection element is arranged in such a way that a normal vector of the deflection surface, ie a vector which is perpendicular to this surface, is oriented at an angle different from 90° with respect to a longitudinal extension of the wall body element. This feature defines a special type of sloping position of the anti-collision element or the deflection surface, which begins in close proximity to the wall body element or the installation element and then gradually leads away from these elements in order to achieve the intended deflection effect.

In the course of yet another further development of the retaining element according to the invention, the connecting element can be designed as a flat, plate-shaped element. This represents a particularly simple and cost-effective design of the connecting element.

It has proven to be particularly advantageous if, in another development of the retaining element according to the invention, the connecting element is arranged transversely to a direction of longitudinal extension of the wall body element. In this way, retaining elements arranged adjacent to one another can easily be connected to one another.

In order to facilitate this connection, in another development of the retaining element according to the invention it can be provided that the connection element has an opening for the passage of a bolt-like connection means (e.g. screw means). By using such connecting means, the desired longitudinal bracing of the retaining elements can be achieved in a simple manner.

In yet another development of the retaining element according to the invention, it has proven to be advantageous if the connecting element has an approximately triangular outer contour. This outer contour can correspond to a contour of the area defined by the deflection surface, the side surface of the wall body element and the upper side of the positioning element, which is preferably also triangular in terms of its circumference.

It is particularly advantageous if said outer contour of the connecting element is essentially congruent with the described contour.

Then the collision protection element can protect the connecting element particularly effectively.

In a corresponding development of the retaining element according to the invention, it can be provided that the wall body element is made of steel or has a steel frame. In order to increase its weight, the retaining element can also be (partially) filled with concrete or other heavy-weight materials.

Another corresponding further development of the retaining element according to the invention can be provided that the positioning element is made of steel, preferably as an L-profile, and is most preferably firmly bonded to the wall body element. This results in a simple construction of the retaining element and a secure set-up.

In yet another development of the retaining element according to the invention, it can be provided that the connecting element is made of steel and is preferably bonded to the wall body element and the positioning element. This also contributes to a simple manufacturability of the retaining element.

Finally, in the course of a corresponding development of the restraining element according to the invention, the anti-collision element can also be made of steel and preferably connected to the wall body element and the positioning element in a materially bonded manner. This also contributes to the simple manufacturability of the retaining element.

In addition, in a development of the restraining element according to the invention, it can also be provided that a free distance between the collision protection element in the connecting element is less than or equal to a longitudinal dimension or a longest dimension of the collision protection element. This results in a particularly effective protection of the connecting element, because the free distance to the anti-collision element is not too large. However, said free distance is advantageous in itself, because it can facilitate the attachment of the above-mentioned connecting means or make it possible in the first place. Finally, in a corresponding further development of the restraining element according to the invention, provision can also be made for a connecting element, a positioning element and a collision protection element to be arranged on both sides of the wall body element, preferably symmetrically with respect to a central axis of the restraining element. This results in a particularly effective construction, in particular combined with a high level of safety when erected.

Further properties and advantages of the invention result from the following description of exemplary embodiments with reference to the drawing.

Figur 1 zeigt eine perspektivische Ansicht einer Stirnseite eines erfindungsgemäßen Rückhalteelements figure 1 shows a perspective view of an end face of a retaining element according to the invention

The retaining element is denoted overall by the reference number 1 in the figure. At reference numeral 2, it has a wall body element made of steel in the form of a frame construction, which can be filled with concrete or other weight elements if required. The wall body element 2 is essentially plate-shaped and has a (uniform maximum) width B. Reference L designates a direction of longitudinal extension of the restraining element 1, and reference MA designates a (vertical) central axis of the restraining element 1. In the lower, lateral region of the restraining element 1, a positioning element 3 is arranged on both sides, which is/is designed in the manner of an L-profile/ are. The erection elements 3 are used to erect the restraining element 1 on a base 4 in the area of an underside 2a of the wall body element 2. The base 4 is preferably a level base 4, preferably a road surface.

Between the two legs of the L-profile or between a side wall 2b of the wall body element 2 and an upper side 3a of the positioning element 3, an angle α is formed, which is preferably 90°. A connecting element 5 is arranged at each end between the legs of this angle α, which is triangular in shape overall (in a front view) and has an opening 5a, through which opening 5a a connecting means for connecting the restraining element 1 to a further restraining element (not shown) can be performed. The connecting element 5 is integrally connected (welded) to the two legs of the positioning element 3 . As shown in the figure, the connecting member 5 protrudes laterally from the side wall 2b of the wall body member 2 by an amount m1. In addition, the connecting element 2 protrudes upwards by a dimension m2 in relation to the upper side 3a of the positioning element 3 .

So that a motor vehicle driving close to the restraining element 1 does not collide with the connecting element 5, a collision protection element 6 is provided adjacent to the connecting means 5, preferably on both sides of the restraining element 1, which is designed in the form of a trapezoidal plate and whose surface is a deflection surface 6a forms. The collision protection element 6 is arranged in the area of the angle α between the legs of the positioning element 3 or its upper side 3a and the side wall 2b of the wall body element 2 such that the two base sides 6b, 6c of the trapezium or the trapezoidal plate are each essentially perpendicular to the longitudinal extension direction L of the retaining element 1 are oriented. As a result, the deflection surface 6a of the collision protection element 6 is oriented in such a way that an associated normal vector N is oriented obliquely with respect to the direction of longitudinal extension L of the restraining element 1 in the manner shown. The deflection surface 6a is consequently oriented in such a way that it is directed approximately away from the apex of the angle α and deflects a wheel imaginarily rolling on the deflection surface 6a over the connecting element 5 in the manner of a jump.

For this purpose, it is also provided that an outer contour of the connecting element 5, ie the corresponding triangle - as described above - is essentially congruent with a contour that passes through the base or base 6b of the trapezoidal plate (the collision protection element 6) and the associated sections of the top 3a of the positioning element 3 and the side wall 2b of the wall body element 2 or the corresponding leg of the positioning element 3 is defined. The latter two sections are denoted in the figure by the references M1 and M2, which references also stand for the relevant measurements or dimensions. The dimension M1 preferably corresponds precisely to the first dimension m1 defined above, while the dimension M1 corresponds precisely to the second dimension m2 defined above. In this way, the anti-collision element 6 provides effective protection for the connecting element 5.

Advantageously, all of the above-mentioned components of the retaining element 1 are made of steel, so that the individual parts can be easily connected to one another with a material fit, preferably welded.

In particular, the invention is not limited to the specific form of the collision protection element 6 described above. Configurations that deviate from a trapezoidal configuration can also be considered, provided they can fulfill the function described above. In particular, instead of the described trapezoidal configuration, a triangular configuration can also be used, in which an apex of the triangle is arranged approximately at the vertex of the angle α.

The free distance between the base 6b of the trapezoid and the connecting element 5 (not shown in the figures) should not be greater than the longest dimension of the anti-collision element 6, ie in particular a distance between the bases 6b and 6c. In principle, however, it is also possible to arrange the collision protection element 6 directly adjacent to the connecting element 5 . However, the free distance between the collision protection element 6 and the connecting element 5 makes it easier to attach the connecting means already mentioned, in particular a screw means with an associated nut or the like.
