Definitions
- the consideration of the production figures determined by suitable sensors, such as piecing reliability, number of thread breaks, number of cleaner cuts, efficiency or the like over a definable period of time that encompasses the current operation, enables the machine operator to identify problematic workplaces at an early stage so that appropriate countermeasures can be initiated can, which are carried out, for example, by so-called service units, which can be moved along the workplaces on the textile machine and automatically carry out maintenance processes at the workplaces.
- the invention is based on the object of providing a method for monitoring a textile machine with several workplaces and a textile machine with several workplaces, which allow rapid detection and identification of those workplaces whose production figures exceed predetermined limit values.
- the invention solves the problem by a textile machine with the features of claim 1 and a method for monitoring a textile machine with the features of claim 6.
- Advantageous developments of the textile machine are in the dependent claims 2 to 5, advantageous developments of the method in the dependent claims 7 to 9 specified.
- the display unit has several signal units which are arranged on the textile machine control unit and / or the respective workplaces and are assigned to the individual workplaces, which are designed in such a way that the result of the check of the at least one selected production key figure to be checked is exceeded with regard to the assigned predetermined limit value is displayed by means of different light signals.
- a production key figure is to be understood as a value which results from a predeterminable or predetermined combination of at least two or more defined values, in particular different from one another.
- a signal unit is arranged at each work station, which shows the result of the check directly at the workplace.
- the signal unit is arranged in the area that is clearly visible to the machine operator in such a way that it can also be clearly recognized from a distance, so that faulty jobs, i.e. those whose production key figures exceed predetermined limit values, can also be identified remotely if the The machine operator does not have a view of the display unit. Necessary maintenance work can thus be recognized and initiated.
- the textile machine according to the invention also allows the signaling of an idling can containing a sliver for a spinning machine - from which a sliver is continuously fed to a spinning machine - with a sufficient advance warning time.
- Corresponding measures such as requesting and providing a new can, can be initiated in good time by a machine operator either manually or automatically.
- the change of a can is preferably to be acknowledged, it being possible to monitor emptying of the can subsequently, for example via the detectable production of the work station.
- Production figures of the can to be monitored can be, for example, the length of the sliver of the can in meters, the weight of the sliver or the diameter of the take-up bobbin, which particularly reliably enable timely signaling of the need to replace the can.
- the signal units arranged at the workplaces also enable the identification and identification of those workplaces at which matching product groups, for example the same yarns, are processed, as well as those workplaces that are not assigned to any product groups.
- the signal units for signaling the results of the checking of the monitoring results can in principle be configured in any way by the signal units. According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, however, the signal unit is designed to display the result of the check by means of light signals of different brightness and / or color.
- these can also be designed to display the results of the check in color.
- This embodiment enables a machine operator to immediately identify workplaces that require maintenance in a particularly advantageous manner. For example, workplaces that work within the specified framework can be identified by a signal unit displaying a green light signal. Workplaces that require maintenance or that work incorrectly can be identified by a different color, e.g. red.
- This contrast of the signal units makes it easier for a machine operator to detect - in particular from a distance - those workplaces whose production key figures are outside the specified limit values.
- a further development of the invention provides that the signal units are designed to display the result of the check by means of continuous light and flashing light.
- This embodiment of the invention improves the visibility of maintenance-requiring jobs from a distance in a supplementary manner.
- the frequency of the flashing light can be adapted to the need for maintenance. Workplaces that are primarily to be serviced can be identified by a signal light flashing at a high frequency, while workplaces that require maintenance are identified by a flashing light having a low frequency. A machine operator is thus shown in a particularly advantageous manner the need for maintenance of the individual workplaces.
- the signal units are arranged at the workstations in such a way that they can be easily recognized by a maintenance worker even from a distance. According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the signal units are arranged at the work stations and the light signals are generated at the signal units in such a way that they can be used for the automatic identification and / or alignment of a service unit having an optical detection device with respect to the work stations.
- the signal unit enables a service unit to automatically detect workplaces in need of maintenance.
- the signal units are designed in such a way that the service unit, which automatically carries out maintenance work, aligns itself with the work site via the signal units.
- the signal unit for example a light strip, has for this purpose special, for example brighter, signal points which enable the service unit to be optimally aligned with respect to the work station. Additional alignment elements for positioning the service units in relation to the workplace can thus be dispensed with.
- the design of the signal units is basically freely selectable. According to a further development of the invention it is provided that the signal units have an LED display.
- the use of LED displays is characterized by their good visibility from a distance. In addition, LED displays are particularly low-maintenance and energy-efficient.
- a characteristic of the method according to the invention is that the display unit has a plurality of signal units assigned to the individual workstations, which are arranged on the textile machine control unit and / or the workstation and on which the result of the check is displayed by means of different light signals.
- a signal unit is arranged at each work station and / or the textile machine control unit, which signal unit indicates the result of the check directly for each work station.
- the signal unit is arranged in the area that is clearly visible to the machine operator in such a way that the operator can also clearly see from a distance when individual workplaces require maintenance. In the case of the arrangement of the signal unit at those workplaces, faulty workplaces, that is, those whose production key figures exceed predetermined limit values, can be identified particularly easily even from a distance and required maintenance work can be carried out in the Paths are guided.
- the method according to the invention it is also possible to indicate in good time that a jug is approaching empty, so that the organization or provision of a new, full jug can be initiated in good time.
- the time window for the advance warning on the signal unit can be set by a machine operator on the textile machine control unit. After changing the jug, this is acknowledged so that the corresponding counter is restarted.
- the emptying of the can can, for example, be monitored via the detectable production at the work site, determined in meters or kilograms or via the diameter of the pay-off reel. For can monitoring, it can be provided, for example, that the signal unit lights up continuously when the can contents are sufficient and changes to flashing when a defined limit value is reached.
- the optical output of the results of the check by the signal unit can in principle take place in any way, for example by means of continuous light and flashing light with different flashing frequencies.
- the result of the check is displayed by means of light signals of different brightness and / or color.
- a colored display is characterized by its particularly good perceptibility by a machine operator. For example, problematic workplaces can be marked with a red light and properly working workplaces with a green light, which the machine operator can see particularly well from a distance. Particularly serious faults can also be indicated by a red flashing light.
- workplaces with the same product groups are identified by means of the light signals.
- the workplaces that process the same product groups can be identified with correspondingly colored light signals will. This also enables jobs that are not assigned to any product group to be recorded quickly.
- the processing of the production key figures determined at the work stations and their comparison with specifiable reference values can in principle take place in any way. According to a further embodiment of the invention, however, it is provided that the production key figures to be checked are determined from an average of at least two or more individual production key figures determined over a selectable period, in particular at selectable intervals or at selectable times.
- the mean value of individual production figures e.g. the number of cleaner cuts or thread breaks or the efficiency, i.e. what percentage of the possible machine running time can be achieved, or the piecing reliability, i.e. the ratio of the number of successful piecings to the number of piecing attempts is constantly updated over a specified period of time.
- the mean value is preferably determined from the arithmetic, geometric or harmonic mean value or from a combination of at least two of these mean values. This embodiment of the invention thus enables early detection of a deteriorating production process at the workplaces.
- Fig. 1 a schematic representation of an embodiment of a textile machine designed as a spinning machine 1 with a plurality of adjacently arranged spinning stations 2, which form the individual work stations of the textile machine.
- the spinning stations 2 are controlled and monitored via a central textile machine control unit 3.
- An input unit, not shown here, on the textile machine control unit 3 allows a machine operator to enter process parameters and query production key figures, among other things.
- a signal unit 4 connected to the textile machine control unit 3 is arranged at each spinning station 2, which via a colored Light signal identifies the operating state of the spinning station 2.
- Spinning positions 2 operating within the framework of defined limit values are identified by a green light signal.
- Spinning positions 2 to be serviced are marked with a continuous red light.
- the signal units 4 are arranged in such a way that spinning stations 2 in need of maintenance can be easily detected remotely by a machine operator as well as can be detected by an automatically operating service unit, not shown here and movable along the spinning stations 2.
- a spinning station 2 that requires maintenance is displayed in accordance with the settings made on the textile machine control unit 3. After selecting one or more key production figures from a specified quantity, for example the efficiency, an observation period is established.
- the efficiency corresponds in a preferred manner to a ratio of actual production time, which is a time in which production was actually carried out, to a target production time, which is a time in which production could take place.
- actually produced means in a more preferred manner that the corresponding spinning station 2 has spun yarn
- could be produced describes a state in which the spinning station is in a productive state, but no yarn is spinning. The latter can be the case, for example, when the spinning station is in a waiting state in which the spinning station 2 is responding to something such as, for example, feeding a new spinning can, changing a completed winding bobbin, removing a blockage by the operator or the like, waiting.
- a common point in time can be set as a reference point in time for both the actual production time and the target production time, such as the start of the observation period and a point in time at the start of the shift. If, purely by way of example, a spinning station 2 has been in a productive state for 60 minutes since the start of the shift, but has only produced 53 minutes of this since the start of the shift, the efficiency of the spinning station 2 is approx.
- a definable production group consisting of a predeterminable number of spinning stations 2 or even the spinning machine comprising all spinning stations 2 can be used with regard to a selected production key figure such as e.g. the efficiency can be considered.
- the mean efficiency of a number of spinning positions 2 combined to form a production group (which can also be the spinning machine) is preferably obtained from a sum of the actual production times of these spinning positions 2 divided by a sum of the production target times of these spinning positions 2.
- a current efficiency defines an instantaneous value which, based on this number of spinning positions 2, indicates how many spinning positions 2 are currently producing or spinning a yarn.
- the production group can include 600 spinning stations 2, of which 578 spinning stations 2 are currently producing or spinning a yarn. This results in the current efficiency of approx. 96.3%.
- the average efficiency is particularly suitable for evaluating and assessing a production quality, while the current efficiency can be used to analyze a trend and to identify any problems at an early stage.
- the quantity produced, length, weight or another suitable parameter can be used as the basis for calculation.
- the reference to the quantity, the length or the weight proves to be advantageous if there is no linear relationship between a production time and a production quantity.
- the textile machine control unit 3 records the benefits of all spinning stations 2 after the observation period has been determined at predetermined intervals, for example every 2 minutes, and stores these in a memory of the textile machine control unit 3. After the specified observation period of 4 hours, for example, 120 measurements are available. The textile machine control unit 3 now determines for the first time the mean value of the utility effect over the observation period. From then on, the mean value is determined with each new measured value, i.e. every 2 minutes over the last 4 hours. I.e. the mean value is constantly updated, so that the useful effect for each spinning position 2 over the last 4 hours is permanently available.
- this spinning station 2 If the mean efficiency of a spinning station 2 falls below a previously defined lower limit value, this spinning station 2 is identified as requiring maintenance by a corresponding light signal on the signal unit 4. This spinning station 2 can be quickly identified remotely by a machine operator so that appropriate countermeasures can be initiated immediately. After the disruption has been eliminated, the mean efficiency increases again and this spinning position becomes 2 again after the defined lower limit value has been exceeded characterized as working properly by the textile machine control unit 3. As an alternative or in addition to recording the efficiency, other production indicators can also be used for monitoring. This can be, for example, the number of cleaner cuts or thread breaks as well as the security of piecing.

Continuous monitoring and evaluation of the production key figures of the individual workplaces, for example the spinning stations of a textile machine, is a prerequisite for productive operation of the textile machine. The consideration of the production figures determined by suitable sensors, such as piecing reliability, number of thread breaks, number of cleaner cuts, efficiency or the like over a definable period of time that encompasses the current operation, enables the machine operator to identify problematic workplaces at an early stage so that appropriate countermeasures can be initiated can, which are carried out, for example, by so-called service units, which can be moved along the workplaces on the textile machine and automatically carry out maintenance processes at the workplaces.

A clear identification of the problematic job is essential for this, so that it can be identified quickly and countermeasures can be initiated immediately. Known displays on displays of central control units require constant monitoring of the displays by a machine operator in order to detect any signaling that may be present. Signals displayed by the control unit in the absence of the machine operator remain undetected until the machine operator returns, which can lead to longer production stoppages at the workplaces concerned.
Proceeding from this, the invention is based on the object of providing a method for monitoring a textile machine with several workplaces and a textile machine with several workplaces, which allow rapid detection and identification of those workplaces whose production figures exceed predetermined limit values.
The invention solves the problem by a textile machine with the features of claim 1 and a method for monitoring a textile machine with the features of claim 6. Advantageous developments of the textile machine are in the
It is characteristic of the textile machine according to the invention that the display unit has several signal units which are arranged on the textile machine control unit and / or the respective workplaces and are assigned to the individual workplaces, which are designed in such a way that the result of the check of the at least one selected production key figure to be checked is exceeded with regard to the assigned predetermined limit value is displayed by means of different light signals.
For the purposes of the present invention, a production key figure is to be understood as a value which results from a predeterminable or predetermined combination of at least two or more defined values, in particular different from one another.
According to a preferred variant of the invention, a signal unit is arranged at each work station, which shows the result of the check directly at the workplace. The signal unit is arranged in the area that is clearly visible to the machine operator in such a way that it can also be clearly recognized from a distance, so that faulty jobs, i.e. those whose production key figures exceed predetermined limit values, can also be identified remotely if the The machine operator does not have a view of the display unit. Necessary maintenance work can thus be recognized and initiated.
Due to the good recording of workplaces in need of maintenance, necessary maintenance work can be triggered at short notice so that a sufficiently high productivity can be guaranteed for the workplaces to be serviced. Overall, a high productivity of the textile machine can thus be maintained after poorly running or improperly functioning jobs can be adapted at short notice.
The textile machine according to the invention also allows the signaling of an idling can containing a sliver for a spinning machine - from which a sliver is continuously fed to a spinning machine - with a sufficient advance warning time. Corresponding measures, such as requesting and providing a new can, can be initiated in good time by a machine operator either manually or automatically. The change of a can is preferably to be acknowledged, it being possible to monitor emptying of the can subsequently, for example via the detectable production of the work station. Production figures of the can to be monitored can be, for example, the length of the sliver of the can in meters, the weight of the sliver or the diameter of the take-up bobbin, which particularly reliably enable timely signaling of the need to replace the can.
The signal units arranged at the workplaces also enable the identification and identification of those workplaces at which matching product groups, for example the same yarns, are processed, as well as those workplaces that are not assigned to any product groups.
The signal units for signaling the results of the checking of the monitoring results can in principle be configured in any way by the signal units. According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, however, the signal unit is designed to display the result of the check by means of light signals of different brightness and / or color.
In the case of the display of the results by means of light signals of different brightness, provision is made, for example, that workplaces working within the scope of the specified production key figures are identified by signal units that are switched off or that light up with low intensity, whereas problematic workplaces are identified by signal units that light up with high intensity. This embodiment of the invention enables a machine operator to quickly identify problematic jobs in a particularly advantageous manner. Necessary maintenance work can thus be initiated at short notice by the machine operator.
As an alternative or in addition to the display of the productivity of the workstations via signal units of different brightness, these can also be designed to display the results of the check in color. This embodiment enables a machine operator to immediately identify workplaces that require maintenance in a particularly advantageous manner. For example, workplaces that work within the specified framework can be identified by a signal unit displaying a green light signal. Workplaces that require maintenance or that work incorrectly can be identified by a different color, e.g. red. This contrast of the signal units makes it easier for a machine operator to detect - in particular from a distance - those workplaces whose production key figures are outside the specified limit values.
As an alternative or in addition to the display of the productivity of the workplaces via signal units of different light and / or color, a further development of the invention provides that the signal units are designed to display the result of the check by means of continuous light and flashing light. This embodiment of the invention improves the visibility of maintenance-requiring jobs from a distance in a supplementary manner. The frequency of the flashing light can be adapted to the need for maintenance. Workplaces that are primarily to be serviced can be identified by a signal light flashing at a high frequency, while workplaces that require maintenance are identified by a flashing light having a low frequency. A machine operator is thus shown in a particularly advantageous manner the need for maintenance of the individual workplaces.
The signal units are arranged at the workstations in such a way that they can be easily recognized by a maintenance worker even from a distance. According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the signal units are arranged at the work stations and the light signals are generated at the signal units in such a way that they can be used for the automatic identification and / or alignment of a service unit having an optical detection device with respect to the work stations.
According to this embodiment of the invention, the signal unit enables a service unit to automatically detect workplaces in need of maintenance. In addition or as an alternative, the signal units are designed in such a way that the service unit, which automatically carries out maintenance work, aligns itself with the work site via the signal units. The signal unit, for example a light strip, has for this purpose special, for example brighter, signal points which enable the service unit to be optimally aligned with respect to the work station. Additional alignment elements for positioning the service units in relation to the workplace can thus be dispensed with.
The design of the signal units is basically freely selectable. According to a further development of the invention it is provided that the signal units have an LED display. The use of LED displays is characterized by their good visibility from a distance. In addition, LED displays are particularly low-maintenance and energy-efficient.
A characteristic of the method according to the invention is that the display unit has a plurality of signal units assigned to the individual workstations, which are arranged on the textile machine control unit and / or the workstation and on which the result of the check is displayed by means of different light signals. According to the invention, a signal unit is arranged at each work station and / or the textile machine control unit, which signal unit indicates the result of the check directly for each work station. The signal unit is arranged in the area that is clearly visible to the machine operator in such a way that the operator can also clearly see from a distance when individual workplaces require maintenance. In the case of the arrangement of the signal unit at those workplaces, faulty workplaces, that is, those whose production key figures exceed predetermined limit values, can be identified particularly easily even from a distance and required maintenance work can be carried out in the Paths are guided.
Due to the good recording of workplaces in need of maintenance, necessary maintenance work can be triggered at short notice, so that high productivity can be guaranteed for the workplaces to be serviced. Overall, a high productivity of the textile machine can thus be maintained after poorly running or improperly functioning jobs can be adapted at short notice.
By means of the method according to the invention, it is also possible to indicate in good time that a jug is approaching empty, so that the organization or provision of a new, full jug can be initiated in good time. The time window for the advance warning on the signal unit can be set by a machine operator on the textile machine control unit. After changing the jug, this is acknowledged so that the corresponding counter is restarted. The emptying of the can can, for example, be monitored via the detectable production at the work site, determined in meters or kilograms or via the diameter of the pay-off reel. For can monitoring, it can be provided, for example, that the signal unit lights up continuously when the can contents are sufficient and changes to flashing when a defined limit value is reached.
The optical output of the results of the check by the signal unit can in principle take place in any way, for example by means of continuous light and flashing light with different flashing frequencies. According to an advantageous further development of the invention it is provided that the result of the check is displayed by means of light signals of different brightness and / or color. A colored display is characterized by its particularly good perceptibility by a machine operator. For example, problematic workplaces can be marked with a red light and properly working workplaces with a green light, which the machine operator can see particularly well from a distance. Particularly serious faults can also be indicated by a red flashing light.
According to a further development of the invention, it is also provided that workplaces with the same product groups are identified by means of the light signals. In the case of the use of colored light signals that is advantageously provided, the workplaces that process the same product groups can be identified with correspondingly colored light signals will. This also enables jobs that are not assigned to any product group to be recorded quickly.
The processing of the production key figures determined at the work stations and their comparison with specifiable reference values can in principle take place in any way. According to a further embodiment of the invention, however, it is provided that the production key figures to be checked are determined from an average of at least two or more individual production key figures determined over a selectable period, in particular at selectable intervals or at selectable times. The mean value of individual production figures, e.g. the number of cleaner cuts or thread breaks or the efficiency, i.e. what percentage of the possible machine running time can be achieved, or the piecing reliability, i.e. the ratio of the number of successful piecings to the number of piecing attempts is constantly updated over a specified period of time. If the mean value exceeds a definable limit value, this is indicated on the signal unit. The mean value is preferably determined from the arithmetic, geometric or harmonic mean value or from a combination of at least two of these mean values. This embodiment of the invention thus enables early detection of a deteriorating production process at the workplaces.

A spinning
In the context of the present invention, the efficiency corresponds in a preferred manner to a ratio of actual production time, which is a time in which production was actually carried out, to a target production time, which is a time in which production could take place. In the present preferred exemplary embodiment, "actually produced" means in a more preferred manner that the
According to a further preferred embodiment, a definable production group consisting of a predeterminable number of spinning
According to an alternative preferred embodiment, instead of the time, the quantity produced, length, weight or another suitable parameter can be used as the basis for calculation. In particular, the reference to the quantity, the length or the weight proves to be advantageous if there is no linear relationship between a production time and a production quantity.
In the preferred exemplary embodiment, the textile
If the mean efficiency of a spinning
