Description

The invention relates to packs for cigarettes or other tobacco products according to the preamble of claim 1. Furthermore, the invention relates to methods for producing inner packs of the pack.

It is known to arrange print media with information, identification marks, decorations, etc. for the consumer in a cigarette pack, also in the form of a sealed pack, i.e. with an inner pack made of aroma-tight film, within an outer pack designed in particular as a folding box. The print medium - coupon - is arranged in such a way that when the cigarette pack is opened for the first time, the corresponding blank is exposed so that the consumer can take note of the information before the cigarettes are removed.

For a cigarette pack according to WO 2017/072606 A1 the print carrier or coupon is in a starting position between the inner packaging and the outer packaging. A closure flap or a closure label on the inner packaging is permanently connected to a lid of the outer packaging, which is designed as a hinged box. When the lid is opened, the closure flap is removed from the inner packaging and the coupon is simultaneously pulled out of the starting position. The coupon is therefore originally located on the inside of the closure flap.

The invention deals with cigarette packs from an inner pack, preferably in the form of a sealed pack with an opening label as an opening aid and with a print medium or coupon in an outer pack, preferably in the form of a folding box. The task to be solved is to design and attach the coupon in such a way that when it is put into use Pack the consumer information of the coupon can be perceived reliably. In addition, the coupon should not make the manufacturing process for the pack more difficult.

To achieve this object, the package according to the invention is characterized by the features of claim 1.

Essentially, the idea is to position the coupon directly on the free outside of the opening label and to detachably connect it to the opening label in such a way that the coupon can be removed when the inner packaging is opened (for the first time) or in connection with the opening process. The arrangement is such that the opening process of the inner packaging draws the consumer's attention to the coupon or the printed areas.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the coupon extends with a leg - front leg - in the area of an inner end wall of the inner pack and with an adjoining leg - front leg - in the area of the inner front wall, each with (partial) coverage of the opening label. The front leg can alternatively extend over a portion of an actuating leg of the opening label in the area of the inner front wall or be designed such that the leg of the opening label, including the grip tab, is completely covered. The coupon is expediently provided with an (adhesive-free) grip tab or a grip strip on the free edge, preferably as a continuous strip over the full width of the rectangular coupon.

Another design involves attaching a multi-layer coupon (with a fanfold or with several detachably connected layers) to the outside of the opening label, either in the area of the inner front wall or the inner front wall. The layers of the multi-layer coupon, which are provided with a handle, can either be unfolded or separated one after the other.

Further embodiments of the invention work in such a way that the coupon is pulled out of the starting position when the handle strip is actuated (by hand), i.e. by the process of lifting the opening label.

According to a further embodiment, the coupon is designed as part of the opening label, with the opening label being simultaneously captured when the coupon is actuated by gripping the grip tab or the grip strip. The coupon, which is detachably fixed to the leg of the opening label, can be separated, in particular via a perforation connection.

A special feature of the invention is the manufacturing process. Blanks for the opening label are applied to a (film) web in the correct position to produce blanks for the inner packaging. According to the invention, the procedure is such that the coupon is placed on the opening labels in the correct position after the opening labels have been attached to the film web. The blanks are then made by separating them from the film web.

Alternatively, the continuous film web can be folded around successive groups of cigarettes - usually with an inner collar - to form a tubular structure and the coupons are then placed on top.

The pack examples shown in the drawings relate to cigarette packs in the form of a sealed pack. An outer pack 10 is designed as a hinged box with a box part 11 and a lid 12. A collar 13 is arranged in the box part, a portion of which protrudes from the box part 11. The box part 11 forms a box front wall 14, a box rear wall 15 and narrow, upright box side walls 16. The lid 12 accordingly has a lid front wall 17, a lid rear wall 18 and lid side walls 19.

The collar 13 with collar front wall 20 and collar side tabs 21 is particularly designed in that an enlarged recess 22 is formed on the front, i.e. in the area of the collar front wall 20, which extends into the Area of the box front wall 14 extends, i.e. to below a box closing edge 23.

The outer pack 10 is designed as a round-edge pack, i.e. with upright round edges 24, with a quarter-circular cross-section adapted to the dimensions of the cigarettes. In the area of the collar 13, the front recess 22 is dimensioned such that at least a partial cross-section of the round edge 24 is retained.

An inner pack 25 is arranged as the pack contents in the outer pack 10 designed as above or in another way. The essentially cuboid-shaped inner pack largely fills the interior of the outer pack 10.

The inner pack 25 is a film pack, preferably a sealing pack made of a moisture-tight and aroma-tight film. A cut of the film completely surrounds the package contents - a group of cigarettes 26 - to form an inner front wall 27, an inner rear wall 28 and inner side walls 29. An inner end wall 30 is preferably designed without folding flaps, closed throughout. Closure or sealing seams (not shown) are preferably located in the area of the inner side walls 29 and in the area of the inner rear wall 28.

The focus of the innovation is the inner packaging 25, in particular an opening aid for the same. This mainly consists of a closing tab or an opening label 31, which is made from a separate cut and is dimensioned and arranged such that a first leg, namely cover leg 32, extends in the area of the inner front wall 30 of the inner packaging 25. On the front side, a leg adjoins the inner front wall 27, namely an actuating leg 33. The opening label 31 preferably also extends in the area of the inner rear wall 28, namely with a fastening leg 34 anchored there.

Preferably, the opening label 31 is designed such that the cover leg 32 completely covers the inner end wall 30 while adjusting to the contour of the package (round edges, octagonal or cuboid). When the opening label 31 is activated to expose a removal opening 35 of the inner package 25, a narrower, central strip delimited by perforation lines 36, approximately the width of the actuating leg 33, is severed from the wider cover leg 32 ( Fig. 14, Fig. 15 ). To form the removal opening 35, a cover flap 37 is cut out of the film of the inner packaging 25 due to weakening lines, thereby creating the removal opening 35. The opening label 31 is connected to the inner packaging 25 by means of a multi-acting adhesive, so it can be removed from it and returned to the closed position. Alternatively, the removal opening 35 can be prefabricated when producing a film cut for the inner packaging 25 by cutting out the cover flap 37. In this case, the opening label 31 is adhesive-free in the area of the removal opening 35.

The inner packaging 25 is assigned an information or data carrier, which is referred to below as a coupon 38. This is made of paper or foil and has printing on one or both sides containing information, but also advertising notices or decorations. The coupon 38 is arranged on the inner pack 25 in such a way that there is a connection or interaction with the (first-time) opening of the inner pack 25 with the help of the opening label 31. For this purpose, the coupon 38 is attached directly or indirectly to the opening label 31, in particular connected to it by adhesive.

In the embodiments according to Fig. 1 to Fig. 3 as well as Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 the coupon 38 is arranged on the outside of the opening label 31 and is preferably connected by means of a detachable adhesive. The arrangement is such that the coupon 38 can be detached from the opening label 31 before the opening label 31 is actuated to release the removal opening 35. Due to the functional interrelationship between the opening label 31 and the coupon 38, the opening label 31 is preferably actuated by hand, namely by grasping a glue-free grip tab 39 on a free end of the opening label 31, in particular on a transverse edge of the actuating leg 33 on the inner front wall 27.

The functional connection between the opening aid or opening label 31 on the one hand and the coupon 38 on the other hand can be achieved in various ways. In the important embodiment according to Fig. 1, Fig. 3 and Fig.5 a coupon 38 is attached to the free outside of the opening label 31, which in the starting position extends over the full width or depth of the inner front wall 30 or the cover leg 32 of the opening label 31. A corresponding front leg 40 is rectangular and preferably extends to a rear edge of the inner package 25, namely a transverse edge of the package between the inner rear wall 28 and the inner front wall 30. An adjoining front leg 41 is assigned to the inner front wall 27 and covers in the starting position ( Fig.1 ) the actuating leg 33 of the opening label 31 over its entire surface, preferably also the grip tab 39. The blank for the coupon 38 thus formed preferably has a rectangular, elongated shape.

The coupon 38 is provided on the outside, in particular in the area of the forehead leg 40, with informational labeling, decorative elements or with branded identifiers. The width of the coupon 38 is chosen so that the front leg 41 lies completely, in particular with a distance at the edge, within the recess 22 of the collar front wall 20. A transverse grip strip 42 is preferably arranged on the free edge of the front leg 41, which also lies within the recess 22, in the present case directly above the box closing edge 23. With the help of the grip strip 42, the coupon 38 can be grasped (by hand) and released by releasing the opening label 31 to be deducted ( Fig. 3 ).

The coupon 38 is fixed to the opening label 31 or to the inner packaging 25 by means of detachable adhesive connections, in particular by means of permanently sticky glue. Glue areas are selected according to position and function. In the embodiment of the Fig. 1, Fig. 3 and Fig.5 Glue strips 43, 44 are preferably arranged at a greater distance from one another on the inside of the coupon 38. In the present case, a glue strip 43 is arranged adjacent to the free rear edge of the coupon 38, i.e. on the free edge of the front leg 40. Another glue strip 44 is arranged adjacent to the Grip strip 42 is attached. By grasping the grip strip 42, the coupon 38 can be completely pulled off the inner packaging 25 while loosening the glue connections 43, 44, whereby the opening label 31 is preferably completely exposed. The coupon 38 is provided with the print on the outside, i.e. in the area of the legs 40 and/or 41, preferably also on the inside, which is exposed when the coupon 38 is pulled off.

The packaging according to Fig.2 , Fig.6 differs from the embodiment described above with regard to the dimensions of the coupon 38. This is provided with a shortened front leg 41 in the area of the inner front wall 27, such that the actuating leg 33 of the opening label 31 is only partially or mainly covered. The grip tab 39 of the opening label 31 is located outside the area of the coupon 38 and can therefore be grasped directly.

The packaging according to Fig. 4 differs from those described above in particular with regard to the arrangement and design of coupons 38. These are designed in multiple layers. A preferred embodiment consists of a strip-shaped blank that is folded like an accordion, i.e. has a fanfold structure. One leg is attached to the opening label 31 by means of removable glue, namely to the cover leg 32 in the area of the inner end wall 30 and / or to the actuating leg 33. When designed as a fanfold, an outermost layer is provided with a corner 45. This enables the coupon 38 to be unfolded manually. Alternatively, it can consist of several (paper) layers that are joined together to form a block by gluing on the sides. With the help of tips 45 on preferably each sheet, these can be removed one after the other. The individual legs of the folded coupon 38 and the individual layers or sheets are provided with printing.

According to an alternative embodiment of the pack, the coupon 38 can be moved out of the original position exclusively or predominantly by mechanical coupling with the opening label 31. An example of this technology is in Fig. 7 to Fig. 9 shown.

In this example, the opening label 31 is preferably designed in the manner already described. The coupon 38 is designed as a blank positioned in the pack, preferably without a glue connection, with the coupon 38 alternatively being positioned only in the area of the inner front wall 27, i.e. in the area of the front of the pack. This version is in Fig. 7 shown in solid lines, also in Fig. 8 and Fig. 9 . Alternatively, the coupon 38 can extend with an end leg 40 (shown by dashed lines) in the area of the inner end wall 30.

The coupon 38 is provided with an opening 46. This is located in the area of the grip tab 39 of the opening label 31. The elongated, oval opening 46 is positioned so that the grip tab 39 is in the area of the opening 46 in the original position, i.e. before the pack is used, in such a way that it can be grasped by the consumer when the lid 12 is open (by hand). The connection is chosen so that when the opening label 31 is operated using the grip tab 39, the coupon 38 is pulled out of the original position ( Fig.8 ), namely from the position between the box front wall 14 or collar front wall 20 on the one hand and the inner packaging 25, namely the inner front wall 27, on the other hand. The coupon 38 can be provided with the respective printing on the front and/or the back. The opening 46 is produced by punching, whereby Fig.9 Alternatively, partial punching is carried out and a tab corresponding to the opening 46 is folded against the back of the coupon 38.

In the manufacture of the inner packings 25, in particular in the design according to Fig. 7 to Fig. 9 , the correct position of the coupon 38 is monitored and checked by sensors and/or a camera 47. In particular, it is detected whether the grip tab 39 is located within the opening 46 in a way that is detectable by the consumer. The coupon 38 can be positioned in the position shown without a (glue) connection to the inner packaging 25 or the opening label 31. Alternatively, a detachable glue connection to the inner packaging 25 and/or the opening label 31 can be provided.

The packaging according to Fig. 10, Fig. 11 is in turn structured according to the concept that in order to access the opening label 31 or to help open the inner pack 25, the coupon must be recorded and removed. Furthermore, in this exemplary embodiment, large open spaces for printing are created by the coupon 38.

The coupon 38 preferably consists of a one-piece, strip-shaped blank made of paper, thin film or the like. The coupon 38 extends at least in the area of the inner front wall 27. In addition, an end leg 40 can be provided, which extends over the width or depth of the inner end wall 30 or the cover leg 32 of the opening label 31. The coupon 38 can be positioned between the inner pack 25 and the collar front wall 20 without connection to the inner pack 25 and/or opening label 31. However, detachable glue connections can also be provided, in particular a glue strip 43 on the front transverse edge of the coupon 38 ( Fig. 10 ).

The coupon 38 is provided with a grip element, in the present case by a grip strip 42 formed as part of the coupon 38. This is designed as an outward fold of the coupon 38, i.e. double-layered. The grip strip 42 is located in the area of the inner front wall 27, outside the box part 11, i.e. directly above the box closing edge 23. Due to deformation, the grip strip 42 is preferably directed downwards. When the lid 12 of the outer pack 10 is opened, the grip strip 42 is exposed and can be grasped by the consumer to pull out the coupon 38. Below the coupon 38 is the opening label 31 in the embodiment described.

Due to the arrangement and design of the (two-layer) grip strip 42, a special opening technology can be used in this embodiment, namely analogous to EP 1 113 971 B1 . The involvement of the lid 12 when opening the package (for the first time). The free edge of the grip strip 42 can be gripped by an inner flap of the lid 12 - if this detail is designed accordingly - in such a way that when the Lid 12 of the coupon 38 is pulled out of the anchoring or out of the box part 11 by grasping the handle strip 42.

A design of the pack that is advantageous in terms of structure and handling is in Fig. 12 to Fig. 15 shown. The opening label 31 of the inner pack 25 is preferably designed and arranged in a conventional manner. A coupon 38 is arranged on the free edge of the opening label 31 in the area of the inner front wall 27, that is to say on the free edge of the actuating leg 33. The coupon 38 is in the starting position according to the packaging ( Fig. 12, Fig. 13 ) on the outside of the actuating leg 33 and is preferably connected to it by (releasable) glue, preferably by two spaced apart glue strips 48. In addition, the coupon 38 is preferably connected directly to the blank of the opening label 31, namely via a Separating or perforation line 49. The coupon 38 is provided with a freely protruding handle edge 50, which is shaped outwards to make it easier to grasp, or is in any case exposed.

When the pack is put into use, the grip edge 50 is grasped and the unit consisting of coupon 38 and opening label 31 is pulled into the opening position by pulling upwards ( Fig. 14 ). The coupon 38 can then be separated from the opening label 31 using the perforation line 49. The grip tab 39 then remains as the edge strip of the opening label 31. In this embodiment, the coupon 38 can correspond approximately to the size and shape of the actuating leg 33. However, the coupon 38 can also be guided into the inner end wall 30 and rest against the cover leg 32, preferably with a glue connection.

In all exemplary embodiments, a further special feature can be achieved: When permanently adhesive glue is applied to the outside of the opening label 31, particularly in the area of the actuating leg 33, a transverse strip of glue attached to the free transverse edge of the same creates a connection with the inside of the lid 12 or .the lid front wall 17. After removing the coupon, the sticky glue on the outside of the opening label 31 or the fastening leg 34 becomes free, so that when the lid is closed again 12 a connection of the actuating leg 33 to the lid front wall 17 takes place. When opening again, the opening label 31 is pulled through the lid 12 into the open position.

An innovative special feature lies in the manufacturing technology for the inner packs or for blanks to form the inner pack 25. In a first step, blanks for the opening label 31 are applied to a continuous film web 51 in the relative position of the pack, with the side containing adhesive on the film web 51 pressed ( Fig. 16 ). The film web 51 is then continuously formed around a series of successive units 52 from a cigarette group and an inner collar partially surrounding them, forming a tubular structure. Film web 51 and units 52 are controlled in terms of conveyor technology so that the opening labels 31 are in the correct position in the packaging due to the wrapping process. On the underside, the film tube is completed by thermally sealing the edges of the tube to form a corresponding sealing seam. In a subsequent separating and sealing station (not shown), the inner packs 25 are successively separated from the construct of film wrapping and units 52.

The special feature lies in the attachment of the coupons 38. The film web 51 is assigned units for applying the cut pieces to the film web 51, namely a first labeler 53 and a subsequent second labeler 54. The first labeler 53 is used to feed and deposit the opening labels 31 on the film web 51, specifically in the area of a sharp-edged deflection 55 of a carrier web 56. The transfer takes place in the area of a support roller 57 below the film web 51.

The labeler 54 then becomes effective. This transports the coupons 38, in the present version according to Fig. 3 , and positions it on the outside of the opening label 31. The film web 51 is then fed to the wrapping area to produce the inner packs 25. The exact positioning of the cuts on the film web 51 is carried out (optoelectronic) sensors 58 controlled, which respond to the scanning of print marks 59, including on the opening labels 31.

Fig. 17 shows alternatives to the technology according to Fig. 16 . The coupons 38, present in the version as a multi-layer coupon accordingly Fig. 4 , are placed on the tube-like shaped film web 51, namely on the opening labels 31 that have already been positioned in accordance with the packaging. The coupons 38 are applied by a rotating transfer element, namely by a transfer roller 60, which is positioned in a stationary rotating manner above the film web 51, namely in the area of Opening label 31 arranged on the edge. The relative position is such that the transfer roller 60, which is preferably designed with suction elements for the coupons 38, presses the coupons 38 located in the lower position onto the opening label 31.

In this example, the film web 51 is folded in a tubular manner around the successive row of units 52 - according to a known method - to form a tubular seam on the underside that runs in the longitudinal direction. A forming shoulder of a known design can be used in particular for the corresponding deformation of the unfolded film web 51. It is important for the present innovation that the coupons 38 are expediently placed on the inner packaging 25 or on the opening label 31 after the deformation process, i.e. after the forming shoulder, so that the deformation process for the film web 51 does not impair the correct attachment of the coupon 38.

Fig. 17 shows a further special feature in that the film web 51 - in the area of an upright feed leg - is provided with the removal openings 35 formed by pre-punching. Furthermore, in the situation shown, the opening labels 31 are attached to the outside of the film web 51 in the area of the removal openings 35. Coupons 38, present in multi-layer training accordingly Fig. 4 , are fed to the film web 51 by a transfer element - transfer roller 61 - and attached to the opening label 31 in the area of the free side of the removal opening 35 and preferably fixed by glue. At In this variant, small coupons 38 are arranged in the outside dimensions on the inside of the opening label 31, i.e. on the side facing the inner pack 25. The coupons 38 are preferably completely covered by the opening label 31. Access to the coupon 38 is only granted to the consumer by pressing the opening label 31.

The information provided in connection with Fig. 16 and Fig. 17 The technology described can also be used in an analogous manner for other forms of opening labels 31 and/or coupons 38. The successive application of opening label 31 and coupon 38 to the film web 51 can also be carried out by a single, common labeler. The blanks for opening labels 31 and coupons 38 are fed to this by a common carrier belt on which the relevant blanks are coordinated with regard to their relative position for precise transfer to the film web, in such a way that a coupon 38 is placed on the previously transferred opening label 31.

As a further alternative, a technology can be used in which the opening label 31 and the coupon 38 are connected to one another as separate cut pieces before being placed on the pack or inner pack 25, so that - by a labeler 53, 54 - units of opening labels 31 and coupon 38 are placed on the film web 51 or on the tubularly deformed film web 51 or on finished inner packs 25.

The basic idea of the functional combination of a coupon (for information, etc.) with the opening aid of a pack can also be advantageously implemented in standard cigarette packs, namely in packs with an inner liner made of tin foil, paper or the like and with a usual tear-off flap. With this packaging design, the coupon is connected to the flap (detachable or permanent). By grasping and activating the coupon, it can either be removed from the flap or the unit consisting of the flap and coupon can be separated from the cigarette block.

Pack for cigarettes (26) or other aroma-sensitive smoking-related articles, comprising an outer pack (10), preferably designed in the form of a hinge-lid box, and an inner pack (25), preferably designed in the form of a sealed block with an aroma- and moisture-tight sheet material enclosing the pack contents and with a repeated-use closing aid comprising an opening label (31), which overlaps a removal opening (35) of the inner pack (25) and is releasably connected to the inner pack (25) via a repeated-action, peripheral glue connection, wherein the opening label (31) is assigned a printing carrier designed in the form of a coupon (38), and wherein at least sub-regions of the coupon (38) butt against the free outer side of the opening label (31), characterized in that the sub-regions of the coupon (38) are releasably connected to the opening label (31).

Pack according to Claim 1, characterized in that the arrangement and design of the opening label (31) and coupon (38) mean that, when the inner pack (25) is being opened for the first time, before or during actuation of the opening label (31), the coupon can be removed from the opening label (31) and/or from the inner pack (25) by means of a grip-by-hand edge region of the coupon (38), in particular with the aid of a grip strip (42) provided at the free transverse edge of the coupon (38), and/or in that, on the side facing the opening label (31), the coupon (38), in the region of overlap with the opening label, has areas of glue made of releasable glue, in particular transversely directed glue strips (43, 44) on spaced-apart transverse edges, wherein the coupon (38) can be pulled off from the inner pack (25) and/or the opening label (31) by the peripheral, glue-free grip strip (42) being gripped by hand.
3. Pack according to Claim 1 or one of the other claims, characterized by the following features:

   a) the coupon (38) extends, with partial or complete overlapping of the opening label (31) by way of an end limb (40), in the region of an inner end wall (30) of the inner pack (25), preferably over the entire width and depth of the inner end wall (30),

   b) a following limb of the coupon (38), namely a front limb (41), extends in the region of an inner front wall (27), with partial overlapping or complete overlapping of a limb of the opening label (31), namely of an actuating limb (33) of the opening label, possibly including a grip tab (39) of the opening label (31),

   c) printing for the coupon (38) is applied at least in the end limb (40) of the coupon (38), this end limb covering the inner end wall (30).

Pack according to Claim 1 or one of the other claims, characterized in that, in the region of the inner end wall (30), the coupon (38) extends as far as a rear edge of the inner pack (25), namely as far as the edge formed between the inner end wall (30) and an inner rear wall (28), and/or in that, in the region of the inner front wall (27), a/the actuating limb (33) of the opening label (31) has a greater length than the front limb (41) of the coupon (38), wherein the grip strip (42) of the coupon (38) is arranged at a distance from the exposed grip tab (39) of the opening label (31).

Pack according to Claim 1 or one of the other claims, characterized in that a coupon (38), in particular with small dimensions, preferably a coupon (38) which is multi-layered, folded or comprises layers arranged one above the other, is arranged in the region of a/the end-side covering limb (32) of the opening label (31), and/or in that a coupon (38), in particular with small dimensions, preferably a coupon (38) which is multi-layered, folded or comprises layers arranged one above the other, is arranged in the region of a/the actuating limb (33) of the opening label (31).

Pack according to Claim 5, characterized in that the coupon (38) is arranged exclusively in the region of the end-side covering limb (32) or exclusively in the region of the actuating limb (33), and/or in that the coupon (38) is fastened on the covering limb (32) or on the actuating limb (33) by means of releasable glue.
7. Pack according to Claim 5 or 6, characterized in that the coupon (38) comprises a strip-like blank which is folded like an accordion, with a number of layers being formed in the process, in particular to form a block or comprises a number of individual layers of sheet-like material, in particular paper, the individual layers being connected to one another by lateral gluing to form a block, wherein one layer of the coupon (38) is fastened on the opening label (31), in particular on the end-side covering limb (32) or on the actuating limb (33), by means of releasable glue.
8. Pack according to Claim 7, characterized in that the outer layer of the coupon (38) is provided with a gripping lug (45) for manually unfolding the coupon (38), or in that a number, or all, of the layers of the coupon (38) are provided with a respective gripping lug (45) for removing the respective layer of the coupon (38).
9. Pack according to Claim 1 or one of the other claims, characterized by the following features:

   a) the coupon (38) preferably comprising just a front limb (41) is positioned in the front region of the inner pack (25), in particular between the inner pack (25) or the inner front wall (27), on the one hand, and, on the other hand, a box front wall (14) of a box part (11) of the outer pack (10) or a collar (13) with elongate collar front wall (20), this collar being arranged in the box part (11),

   b) preferably on account of being connected to the opening label (31) in a form-fitting manner, the coupon (38) can be pulled out of the starting position when the opening label is actuated, preferably in that at least the grip tab (39) of the opening label (31), preferably in addition an adjacent sub-region of the actuating limb (33), passes/pass through an opening (46) in the front limb (41) of the coupon (38) for gripping purposes, wherein the opening (46) is provided outside the region of the box part (11) or of the box front wall (14).
10. Pack according to Claim 1 or one of the other claims, characterized in that, in the region of the front limb (41) and/or in the region of the end limb (40), the elongate, preferably strip-like coupon (38) has a grip strip (42) which is remote from both ends of the coupon (38), preferably a double-layered grip strip (42) formed by virtue of the coupon (38) being folded.
11. Pack according to Claim 10, characterized in that the transversely directed grip strip (42) designed in the form of loop-like folding of the coupon (38) is positioned, in the region of the front limb (41), at a small distance above the box front wall (14) of the outer pack (10), and the coupon (38) is connected to the inner pack (25) or to the covering limb (32) of the opening label (31) preferably by releasable adhesive bonding, in particular by a glue strip (43) on the end-side transverse edge of the coupon (38).
12. Pack according to Claim 1 or one of the other claims, characterized by the following features:

    a) the opening label (31) and coupon (38) are connected to one another to form a unit, in particular with a common blank being formed in the process,

    b) a folding line between the opening label (31) and coupon (38) means that the coupon (38) butts against the opening label (31), at least against the actuating limb (33) of the same,

    c) until it has been used for the first time, the coupon (38) is fastened on the opening label (31) by means of a releasable glue connection, in particular by transversely directed glue strips (48).
13. Pack according to Claim 12, characterized by the following features:

    a) the coupon (38) is connected to the opening label (31) in a detachable manner via a transversely directed weakening line, in particular perforation lines (49),

    b) the coupon (38) is connected to the opening label (31) along a free edge for delimiting the grip tab (39) of this opening label,

    c) the separating line, in particular perforation line (49), forms the free edge of the grip tab (39),

    d) in the starting position, the coupon (38) butts against the outer side of the actuating limb (34) of the opening label (31), preferably with an exposed grip edge (50) being formed in the process.
14. Method for producing inner packs for packs according to one of Claims 1 to 13, wherein blanks for the inner pack are detached from a continuous material or sheet-material web (51) which is placed, preferably from above, on a row of successively transported packs or units (52) made up of a cigarette group and an inner collar and is folded around the same to give a tubular formation, wherein blanks for forming opening labels (31) are applied at appropriate positions to the sheet-material web (51), characterized by the following features:

    a) in a first transfer station, the opening labels (31) are placed at appropriate positions on the sheet-material web (51) by a labeller (53),

    b) in a subsequent transfer station, blanks of coupons (38) are fed to the sheet-material web (51) by a second labeller (54) and deposited at appropriate positions on the free upper side of the opening labels (31),

    c) thereafter, blanks or partially complete inner packs (25) are detached from the tubular-formation sheet-material web (51).
15. Method according to Claim 14, characterized in that, in the region of the tubular formation of the sheet-material web (51), a transfer mechanism for the coupons (38) places the coupons (38) onto the opening labels (31), in particular on actuating limbs (33) of the opening labels (31), these actuating limbs being located on the upper side of the sheet-material web (51), and/or in that the coupons (38) are applied to the opening label (31) downstream, as seen in the conveying direction of the sheet-material web (51), of a sheet-material-forming apparatus for creating a tubular formation of the sheet-material web (51).
