Description

  • The invention relates to a pack for cigarettes, with a pack contents, in particular a cigarette group, which is surrounded by an outer wrapper, in particular of preferably aroma and moisture-tight thermally sealable film, in the manner of a tubular bag packaging, according to the preamble of claim 1. Furthermore, the invention relates a method for producing such packages and a corresponding device.
  • From practice, tubular bag packaging for cigarettes are basically known. The cigarette group is wrapped in a film which is closed in the longitudinal direction of the package by means of a longitudinal sealing seam. To this end transverse sealing seams extend in the region of the end faces of the package.
  • Proceeding from this, the object of the invention is to further develop packings for cigarettes of the type mentioned in the introduction, in particular with regard to improved stability of the packs and / or the removal of the pack contents.
  • To achieve this object, a task according to the invention has the features of claim 1. It is therefore provided that the outer cover has a reusable opening means and that the contents of the package is at least partially covered by a collar of heat and pressure-resistant material as inner blank, which extends over the entire length of the package contents.
  • An advantage of this solution is that the collar protects the cigarettes in the tubular bag package from damage. Another advantage is that the tubular bag packaging after the removal of individual cigarettes is resealable, so that no cigarettes can be lost after the first use of the pack or no trickling out of the pack tobacco leads to contamination.
  • According to a preferred embodiment of the invention it is provided that the collar surrounds the package contents C-shaped or U-shaped or on all side surfaces, and that the collar is not arranged in the region of end faces of the pack. Preferably, the collar may extend over almost the entire front of the cigarette group and additionally in the region of the narrow sides of the cigarette group (C-shaped). In addition, the collar may additionally extend into the region of the back of the cigarette group (U-shaped). If the collar is formed so that it extends completely over almost the entire back of the pack, the cigarette group is substantially completely covered on all side surfaces by the collar. However, the front sides are not covered by the collar.
  • With regard to the closing of the tubular bag packaging, folding flaps of the outer envelope are connected in the manner of a fin seam by thermal sealing, preferably such that the outer envelope is closed in the region of end faces of the package contents, in particular an upper side and a lower side of the package contents, by means of a respective fin seam as transverse sealing seam and a third fin seam extending longitudinally of the outer cover over a rear side of the package contents as a longitudinal sealing seam, wherein preferably the fin seams in the region of the end faces protrude from the package contents and the fin seam is applied in the region of the back of the package contents against the outer cover.
  • The opening means may be designed such that the outer sheath is formed in two layers at least in this area, with an outer film as the outer layer of the package and with an inner film as the inner, the package contents facing position, wherein the outer film in the region of the opening means an incision as a weakening line for forming an actuating tab and wherein the inner foil has an incision as a line of weakness to form a removal opening for the package contents in the region of an opening tab and wherein the actuating tab is releasably connectable by means of a permanently acting adhesive with the inner film to close the package.
  • Particularly preferred is a further development of the opening means in which the line of weakness extends in the outer film to form the actuating tab with end portions into the region of the fin seam. In this way it can be prevented that the opening aid is opened too wide, whereby the package could be destroyed.
  • If a transverse sealing seam in the area of the upper side of the package contents is folded over against the outer envelope in the region of the rear side of the package contents and fixed there by means of an adhesive, the package thus produced can also be positioned in a cigarette box as a sealing block.
  • The invention further relates to a method for producing such a package according to claim 7. Accordingly, first a package contents, in particular a cigarette group, formed and the contents of the package then with a collar heat and pressure resistant material covered as inner blank, wherein the collar extends over the entire length of the package contents. Thereafter, the contents of the package with the collar in an outer sheath, in particular of preferably aroma-and moisture-tight thermally sealable film, wrapped in the manner of a tubular bag packaging, the outer sheath having a reusable opening means. Thereafter, folding flaps of the outer sheath are joined together by thermal sealing and the packs are produced as a contiguous, continuous packing chain. The residual compounds in the outer covering between adjacent packages within the packing chain are separable to singulate the packages.
  • According to a preferred further development of the method it is provided that initially a collar is inserted into a pocket of a conveyor and that thereafter a group of cigarettes is inserted into the collar located in the pocket and that collar and group of cigarettes are then pushed out of the pocket and into the outer envelope be wrapped.
  • In a preferred embodiment of the invention it is provided that the pockets are arranged on an endless conveyor, which extends transversely to the transport direction of the collar and cigarette groups, wherein the collar and cigarette groups are inserted in the longitudinal direction in the pockets, in particular in the region of an upper strand of the endless conveyor, and wherein the collar and cigarette groups are each ejected together in the same direction from the pockets, in particular in the region of a lower run of the endless conveyor, and wherein the groups of cigarettes are wrapped with collar in the longitudinal direction in the tubular bag packaging or in a continuous film web for the same. Preferably, the continuous film web is supplied in the longitudinal direction of a conveyor track for the cigarette groups with a collar.
  • An apparatus for producing the package according to the invention has the features of claim 12. It is therefore provided that at least one magazine for forming groups of cigarettes is provided as a package contents and a bag having conveyors for receiving collar of heat and pressure-resistant material and the cigarette groups. Furthermore, a device for wrapping the contents of the package with the collar in an outer casing, in particular made of preferably aroma-and moisture-tight thermally sealable film, in the manner of Schlauchbeuteiverpackung available, the outer casing having a reusable opening means. Furthermore, there is at least one device for thermally sealing folding flaps of the outer casing, wherein the conveyor is directed transversely to the feed of the collar and cigarette groups and the collars and groups of cigarettes can be fed in the same direction as in the feed from the conveyor of the device for wrapping.

  • 3 to 6 show the possible composition of the cigarette group 11 in the form of a cigarette block. The cigarette block consists in the embodiments shown of a single row of cigarettes, namely five pieces. It is understood that the cigarette group 11 can also consist of a small number of cigarettes. It is also conceivable that the cigarette block can consist of more than one row of cigarettes. Preferably, the package of the invention 10 however, in the context of cigarette groups 11 with a small number of cigarettes used.
  • As a special feature is a collar 26 provided the cigarette group 11 at least partially surrounds. The collar should be made of a heat and pressure resistant material, such as cardboard.
  • The collar 26 surround the cigarette group 11 directly and together with this in the outer wrapping 12 shrouded. The collar 26 thus represents an inner cut, so to speak.
  • All embodiments according to 3 to 6 common is that the collar 26 over the entire length or height of the cigarette group 11 extends. The collar thus extends at least partially between the two opposite end faces 27 . 28 the cigarette group 11 ,
  • In the embodiment according to 3 the collar extends 26 over a front 29 the cigarette group 11 as well as narrow sides 30 the cigarette group 11 on both sides then to the front 29 , A backside 31 the cigarette group 11 will not go through the collar 26 covered like the front sides 27 . 28 , The collar 26 features in the area of the front 29 via a top recess 32 to remove cigarettes from the cigarette group 11 , At the bottom of the collar 26 closes one of the recess 32 appropriate approach 33 at. That way, the collar can 26 essentially be separated out of a continuous web of material without waste. The side walls of the collar 26 are by fold lines 34 connected together, leaving the side walls of the collar 26 along the fold lines 34 can be folded.
  • The collar 26 according to 4 is different from the collar 26 according to 3 in that the collar 26 there also still slightly in the area of the back 31 extends. The collar 26 is approximately U-shaped in cross-section with two legs 35 in the area of the back 31 , which essentially only in the region of each edge-side or outer cigarettes of the cigarette group 11 extend. The cigarettes between the marginal cigarettes are not in the area of the back 31 through the collar 26 covered.
  • The embodiment according to 5 differs from the embodiment according to 4 in that the collar 26 essentially over the entire back 31 the cigarette group 11 extends. The bilateral thighs 35 are here so wide formed that free margins of the thighs 35 with a short distance to each other.
  • Another special feature is a top-side semi-circular recess 36 in the area of the back 31 which facilitates the removal of cigarettes. As with recess 32 and approach 33 in the area of the front 29 is one of the recess 36 appropriate approach 37 in the lower edge of the collar 26 molded for waste-free production of the collar 26 ,
  • In the embodiment according to 6 the collar is designed as a closed sleeve in total. Apart from recesses 32 . 36 as in the embodiment according to 5 the collar extends 26 circumferentially closed over all upright sides of the cigarette group 11 , Only on the underside is the sleeve in the area of the front side 28 open.
  • To envelop the cigarette group 11 with collar around it 26 becomes the outer cladding 12 hose-like around cigarette group 11 with collar 26 placed around and in the area of the back 31 by a longitudinal direction of the pack 10 continuous longitudinal seam 38 locked in this area. Furthermore, in the area of the end faces 27 . 28 Transverse sealing seams 39 . 40 made to the outer cladding 12 close. The transverse sealing seams 39 . 40 are at a distance to the front ends 27 . 28 the cigarette group 11 arranged. While the transverse sealing seams 39 . 40 opposite the cigarette group 11 stand out, the longitudinal sealing seam 38 put down against the outer cladding 12 ,
  • The outer cladding 12 is positioned so that the opening means 13 or the opening tab 14 and the operating tab 18 in the region of the recess 32 of the collar 26 is located, so by opening the opening tab 14 over the operating tab 18 the removal opening 15 in the outer sheath access to the cigarette group 11 allows.
  • The longitudinal sealing seam and the transverse sealing seams 39 . 40 are as fin seams by thermal sealing of flaps of the outer sheath 12 educated.
  • A special feature is that the transverse seal 39 is formed so that the lines of weakness 17 . 20 for the opening tab 14 or the actuating tab 28 located in the seal area or free ends of these lines of weakness 17 . 20 , This will prevent the pack 10 accidentally opened too far during opening and thus destroyed.
  • 11 and 12 show by a vertical section through the pack 10 alternative constructions of the outer sheath 12 , In the embodiment according to 11 is the outer cladding 12 essentially formed from a single-layer film. In the area of the opening means 13 is on the inside a label on the film 41 on the foil for the outer wrapping 12 attached, which points with its adhesive side to the inside of the film and is glued to this accordingly. The label 41 corresponds to the inner layer in this embodiment 16 of the first embodiment and has corresponding opening tab 14 , Removal opening 15 and weakening line 17 on. In the foil for the outer sheath 12 is accordingly an operating tab 18 by means of a weakening line 20 limited.
  • In the embodiment according to 12 is a label 42 on the outside of the single-layer film for the outer sheath 12 attached and glued to this. Accordingly, in this case, the opening tab 14 and the corresponding removal opening 15 in the foil for the outer wrapping 12 formed, whereas the operating tab 18 in the label by a line of weakness 20 is limited.
  • In the production of the packs 10 is preferably proceeded so that the outer sheath 12 is provided as a continuous material web, wherein in the material web at intervals transverse perforation lines 43 be attached. The material web is thus initially without separation along the perforation lines 43 processed, so a continuous chain of packaging 44 is formed, with the perforation lines 43 each between two transverse sealing seams 39 . 40 between adjacent packs 10 is attached. For separating the packs 10 can the package chain 44 just along the perforation lines 43 be separated. On the production of the packs 10 will be discussed below.
  • It is also conceivable the package described above 10 to pack in a cigarette pack made of cardboard, for example in a hinge-lid pack 45 , This is in 14 shown. The package 10 with closed outer sheath 12 gets into the hinge-lid pack 45 made of cardboard, which has dimensions according to the size of the cigarette group 11 , The transverse seal 39 in the area of the upper front side 27 is in the area of the back 31 folded over so the lid 46 the Hinge Lid Pack 45 can be closed. The package 10 protrudes as a sealing block from the box part 47 the hinged lid pack, the dimensions are chosen so that the opening means 13 the outer cladding 12 or the grip tip 48 is free.
  • 15 and 16 show a first embodiment of the production of the package chains 44 at a glance. Cigarettes for the cigarette group 11 be in two groups of upright manholes 50 a cigarette magazine 51 kept ready and by means of a slider 52 as a cigarette group 11 (Cigarette block) from the cigarette magazine 51 ejected. The two cigarette groups 11 be from the sliders 52 over a bridge 53 in bags 54 a subsequent revolver 55 einschoben. The revolver 55 is cyclically driven in rotation about a horizontal axis and transversely to the direction of the slide 52 arranged. The revolver 55 indicates regularly about the scope of the revolver 55 distributed pockets 54 for each receiving a cigarette group 11 on. The cigarette groups 11 be in the range of a 12 o'clock position of the revolver 55 inserted into this and in the range of a 6 o'clock position, thus after rotation of the revolver 55 about 180 °, out of the revolver 55 pushed out and to a transfer turret 56 to hand over.
  • The transfer turret 56 closes immediately to the revolver 55 and is also cyclically driven in rotation about a horizontal axis. Also the transfer turret 56 has pockets distributed evenly around the circumference 57 on. The transfer turret 56 is in the opposite direction to the revolver 55 driven and arranged in a plane parallel to this.
  • The transfer turret 56 serves to merge the cigarette groups 11 each with a collar 26 , For this purpose, first the collars 26 in the pockets 57 of the transfer turret 55 introduced and subsequently each a cigarette group 11 ,
  • The collars 26 are initially made of a continuous material web 58 separated. For this purpose, the material web 58 by transport rollers 59 a cutting device 60 fed to a knife roller 61 and a counter roll 62 on different sides of the web 58 having. By means of the cutting device 60 be collar 26 from the material web 58 separated and by a subsequent pair of transport rollers 59 sporadically. After that, the collars 26 in the area of a belt conveyor 63 brought to a distance from each other and thus isolated.
  • The collars 26 are transported transversely after the singling in the area of a transverse collar web 64 , In the collar train 64 are the collars 26 arranged flat and lying in the area of a stamp 65 carried away, with which the inner collar collar 26 one after the other out of the collar web 64 removed and by pivoting the punch 65 90 ° in a form pocket 66 be pressed. This is the collar 26 folded into the U-shape.
