Description
- at least one longitudinal cut of a first order, by means of which the workpiece is divided into workpiece strips along a longitudinal direction of the workpiece,
- at least one transverse dividing cut through which one of the workpiece strips or a section of one of the workpiece strips is divided into sections along a transverse direction of the workpiece,
- and at least one longitudinal dividing section of a second order, by means of which one of the sections is divided along a longitudinal direction of the workpiece.
In conventional methods for dividing plate-shaped workpieces, these are first divided into workpiece strips by means of the longitudinal dividing cuts of the first order, and the workpiece strips are in turn divided into pieces by transverse dividing cuts. The individual sections are finally further divided by the longitudinal dividing cuts of the second order.
The object of the present invention is to provide a method for dividing preferably plate-shaped workpieces with which the workpieces can be divided particularly efficiently.
In a method mentioned at the outset, this object is achieved in that the at least one transverse dividing cut, possibly one of the transverse dividing cuts, with the longitudinal dividing cut of the second order, possibly one of the longitudinal dividing cuts of the second order, is carried out in a common cutting process. This reduces the number of cutting operations to be carried out and the method can be carried out on conventional workpiece dividing systems without the length of the dividing line having to be increased.
The dividing means is preferably a circular saw blade of a dividing saw arranged on a saw carriage, the circular saw blade being movable along the dividing line by means of the saw carriage. As a result, the cutting processes can be carried out particularly efficiently and cleanly. The workpiece dividing system is preferably a system which is designed for dividing wood-based, plate-shaped workpieces.
It is also advantageous if the longitudinal dividing cut of the second order, which is carried out in the common cutting process with the transverse dividing cut, separates a scrap piece from a product piece. With the one just described In a common cutting process, a piece of waste is separated from a piece of product, it being possible for the piece of product to be connected to further pieces of product and / or to one or more further pieces of waste. The piece of waste, on the other hand, can be disposed of immediately after being separated. For example, the scrap piece can be removed from a work area around the dividing line by means of a type of slide and, if necessary, a foldable part of a workpiece support table.
It is also advantageous if the longitudinal dividing cut of the second order, which is carried out in the common cutting process with the transverse dividing cut, separates a finished product piece, in particular separates a finished product piece from a last scrap piece. This creates a finished product piece during the joint cutting process, which can be removed from the workpiece dividing system and stacked. A finished product piece here means a product piece that is no longer adjacent to any waste pieces or other product pieces that would have to be further separated.
In a preferred variant of the method according to the invention, during the longitudinal dividing cut of the second order, which is carried out in the joint cutting process with the transverse dividing cut, the workpiece strip or the section to be divided lies against a workpiece stop of the workpiece dividing system in order to determine the position of the workpiece strip or the section to be divided to set the dividing line, where preferably the workpiece stop of the workpiece dividing system and a feed table or a removal table of the workpiece dividing system are arranged on opposite sides of the dividing line, with a stop surface of the workpiece stop preferably being arranged parallel to the dividing line, with the removal table or the feed table preferably comprising at least two elements extending transversely to the dividing line, wherein the workpiece stop is preferably arranged displaceably on the feed table or on the removal table, preferably on one of these two elements of the removal table or of the feed table. As a result, the part or the workpiece strip can be positioned particularly easily with respect to the dividing line. Particularly in the embodiment in which the workpiece stop is opposite the feed table, the workpiece stop does not prevent the workpieces from being placed or moved on the feed table, or the workpieces still on the feed table make it difficult to use the workpiece stop. In the context of the invention, however, it is also possible if the workpiece stop of the workpiece dividing system and the feed table of the workpiece dividing system are arranged on the same sides of the dividing line; this can simplify the handling of the workpieces in certain process executions.
The workpiece stop can be designed to be retractable in the feed table or in a removal table or to be extendable from the respective table. In particular in the sense of Invention, when the workpiece stop is lowered in the case of longitudinal dividing cuts of the first order in a rest position below the table level of the feed table or removal table.
In particular, it is within the meaning of the invention if the method comprises moving the workpiece stop from a lowered rest position below a table level of a feed table or a removal table of the workpiece dividing system into a raised working position above the table level of the feed table or the removal table, or the method comprises, move the workpiece stop from a rest position essentially horizontally into a position less spaced from the dividing line than the working position, the rest position preferably being on the side of the removal table or the feed table of the workpiece system facing away from the dividing line, wherein the workpiece stop is during at least one of the preferably all longitudinal dividing cut (s) of the first order is located in a lowered rest position below the table level of the feed table or the removal table. As a result, the method according to the invention can be carried out particularly flexibly and precisely; in particular, the workpieces or workpiece strips or parts can be aligned particularly easily and precisely.
It is also advantageous if, during the joint cutting process, the section or the The workpiece strip is held by a first gripping device which is arranged on a carrier of the workpiece dividing system, the carrier preferably comprising a plurality of first gripping devices. For example, the carrier can be movably attached to the feed table via guide carriers, rails or a similar linearly displaceable mounting. Such a carrier is also referred to as a program slide and is used to transport or position the workpieces to be processed.
It is also advantageous if, during the common cutting process, the part to be divided or the workpiece strip is held by a second gripping device, which is arranged, preferably laterally, on the carrier of the workpiece dividing system, which is preferably movable independently of the first gripping device and which is preferably opposite the Carrier can be moved further transversely to the dividing line than the first gripping device. This results in an advantageous freedom of movement for the first and second gripping devices, so that the partial pieces or workpiece strips to be divided together are particularly flexible and can be positioned along the dividing line.
It is preferred if a scrap piece is separated during the common cutting process through the longitudinal dividing cut of the second order and the transverse dividing cut, preferably with both scrap pieces on the same side during the common cutting process Dividing line are arranged. This makes it particularly easy to dispose of the pieces of waste by means of a single clearing process and the cutting processes can be carried out particularly efficiently.
It is also advantageous if, during the joint cutting process, the section to be divided and the workpiece strip or the further section, viewed in the direction of the division line, rest against one another with side surfaces extending transversely to the division line. As a result, the workpiece strip and the part or the two parts are mutually supported and the division can be carried out particularly precisely with little effort. It is also advantageous if, during the joint cutting process, the section to be divided or the workpiece strip, viewed in the direction of the dividing line, preferably in addition to the angle ruler, rests against a preferably extendable stop running transversely to the dividing line, the stop preferably on a work table in the the dividing line is located, preferably lowerable and liftable, the stop being preferably arranged in a middle third of the dividing line when looking along the dividing line. This achieves a high level of precision in the dividing process, with the two parts or the workpiece strip not influencing the position of the part. The stop can be integrated into the removal or the feed table or itself also extend across the dividing line. It is also conceivable that such a stop does not run orthogonally to the dividing line but can be adapted at a certain angle or in its angle with respect to the dividing line. Correspondingly, the longitudinal cut of the second order does not take place strictly along the longitudinal direction but is offset at a certain angle both to the transverse and to the longitudinal direction.
A variant of the method according to the invention is characterized in that, during the common cutting process, a transverse dividing cut with two longitudinal dividing cuts of the second order, i.e. on two parts, is carried out in a common cutting process, or that during the common cutting process, two transverse dividing cuts, i.e. on two workpiece strips, with one Longitudinal cut of the second order is carried out in a common cutting process. This makes the implementation of the method according to the invention particularly efficient and large numbers of plate-shaped workpieces can be divided up in a short time.
In the context of the present invention, in one or more of the previously described methods or individual dividing processes of these methods, the first gripping device is used in the open state, i.e. in the non-gripping state as a stop for a workpiece or a workpiece strip or a part. The corresponding workpiece, the
It is preferred if the method according to the invention takes place in an automated or semi-automated manner on a correspondingly designed workpiece dividing system. Automated is to be understood as meaning that the workpiece dividing system is designed in such a way that it independently positions the workpieces in accordance with the individual process steps via a corresponding control and corresponding positioning means, for example the gripping devices and / or additional positioning means. Semi-automated is to be understood as meaning that the individual process steps or cutting processes are one Operator of the workpiece dividing system. Such a specification can be made, for example, via a laser projection unit, for example a laser projector, the workpiece dividing system or also via an instruction screen arranged on the workpiece dividing system. For example, the laser projection unit, for example a laser projector, can be designed and controlled in such a way that it specifies to the operator of the workpiece dividing system which workpiece he has to position in relation to the dividing line in order to carry out the next cutting process.
The invention is preferably implemented in a computer-implemented manner. In this respect, a control device for a workpiece dividing system preferably comprises a computer on which a computer program can be executed which carries out a control function for the workpiece dividing system in accordance with the method described above.
In this respect, the object mentioned at the beginning is also achieved by a computer program product according to claim 13. In addition, the object is achieved by a data carrier or a control device for a workpiece dividing system on which the corresponding computer program is stored and / or by a data stream (for example downloadable from the Internet) that represents the corresponding computer program.
Correspondingly, part of the present invention is a computer program product for performing the method according to claim 1, comprising instructions that are used in the Execution by a control device for a workpiece dividing system, in particular a computer, this causes the workpiece dividing system to be controlled in order to carry out the method according to one of the variants described above.
It is also within the meaning of the invention if the transverse direction or the direction of the transverse dividing cuts is not strictly orthogonal to the longitudinal direction or to the direction of the longitudinal dividing cuts of the first order, but is offset at an angle other than 90 ° to this direction. It is also within the meaning of the invention if the direction of the longitudinal dividing cuts of the second order does not take place with the direction of the longitudinal dividing cuts of the first order, but is arranged offset at an angle to this direction, the direction of the longitudinal dividing cuts of the second order, however, being offset to the direction of the transverse dividing cuts. However, it is preferred if the transverse direction, that is to say the direction of the transverse dividing cuts, runs orthogonally to the longitudinal direction, that is to say the direction of the longitudinal dividing cuts of the first order and also of the longitudinal dividing cuts of the second order. It is preferred if the longitudinal dividing cuts of the first order and the longitudinal dividing cuts of the second order run in the same direction. The direction here means the direction in relation to a workpiece-fixed coordinate system.
Part of the invention is also a workpiece dividing system for dividing a preferably plate-shaped workpiece comprising a control device which is designed and set up to carry out one of the methods just described. Part of the invention is also a workpiece dividing system according to claim 15, with a dividing means which acts in a respective cutting process along a dividing line, the workpiece dividing system comprising an extendable stop extending transversely to the dividing line. This enables a particularly flexible process control on the corresponding workpiece dividing system.
Part of the invention is also a workpiece dividing system according to
