  • une structure pivotante porteuse de la charge routière, assemblée de façon dissociable avec les deux plateformes d'extrémité et située au-dessus du tirant entre les deux plateformes d'extrémité ;
  • un dispositif de liaison prévu entre chaque extrémité libre distale des bras des fourches et l'extrémité en regard de chacune des plateformes d'extrémité ;
caractérisé en ce que l'extrémité libre distale des bras des fourches comprend une platine horizontale présentant un orifice traversant, chaque dispositif de liaison comprenant :
  • un anneau de traction comportant :
    • une première partie dirigée vers l'extrémité libre distale du bras de fourche, la première partie de l'anneau de traction comprenant deux platines horizontales et parallèles, présentant chacune un orifice traversant, et entre lesquelles est logée l'extrémité libre distale dudit bras des fourches,

  • un écrou vissé sur l'extrémité filetée de la tige de l'anneau de traction débouchant de l'autre côté de l'orifice traversant de la pièce réceptrice ; et
  • un contre-écrou vissé sur la tige de l'anneau de traction entre la pièce réceptrice et la première partie de l'anneau de traction ;

  1. A rail wagon (1) for rail-and-road combined transport and for loading and unloading a road load, said wagon comprising:
    - two end platforms (2) equipped with bogies (4);
    - a tie (3) connecting each end platform (2) and comprising a middle part (11) extending along the longitudinal axis of the rail wagon (1), and a fork (12) with two arms (13) provided at each of the longitudinal ends of the middle part (11) of the tie (3),
    - a pivotally mounted structure (5) that bears the road load, dissociably assembled with the two end platforms (2) and situated above the tie (3) between the two end platforms (2);
    - a connecting device (15) provided between each distal free end (14) of the arms (13) of the forks (12) and the facing end of each of the end platforms (2);
    characterised in that the distal free end (14) of the arms (13) of the forks (12) comprises a horizontal plate (46) having a through-hole, each connecting device (15) comprising:
    - a pull ring (16) comprising:
    . a first part (17) directed towards the distal free end (14) of the arm (13) of the fork (12), the first part (17) of the pull ring (16) comprising two horizontal and parallel plates (18a, 18b), each having a through-hole, and between which is housed the distal free end of said arm (13) of the forks (12),
    . a second part (20) secured or shaped in one piece with the first part (17), said second part (20) being extended by a rod (21) whose free end is threaded and directed towards the end platform (2);
    - a pin (23) mounted through the through-hole of the distal free end of the arm (13) of the forks (12) and through the through-holes of the pull ring (16) to assemble the pull ring (16) to said arm (13) of the forks (12);
    - a receiving piece (25) secured or shaped in one piece with the end platform (2), and having a through-hole through which the rod (21) of the pull ring (16) is engaged;
    - a nut (27) screwed onto the threaded end (22) of the rod (21) of the pull ring (16) emerging on the other side of the through-hole of the receiving piece (25); and
    - a locknut (28) screwed onto the rod (21) of the pull ring (16) between the receiving piece (25) and the first part (17) of the pull ring (16);
    the nut (27) and the locknut (28) bearing against the receiving piece (25) and sandwiching the latter in order to immobilise the rod (21) of the pull ring (16) in the receiving piece (25).
  2. The rail wagon (1) according to claim 1, characterised in that the nut (27) of each connecting device (15) has an annular groove (56) provided in the face of the nut (27) situated on the side of the receiving piece (25).
  3. The rail wagon (1) according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterised in that each connecting device (15) further comprises a device (29) for immobilising and securing the nut (27) which prevents rotation of the nut (27).
  4. The rail wagon (1) according to the preceding claim, characterised in that the rod (21) of the pull ring (16) comprises at least one longitudinal groove (30) and in that the device (29) for immobilising and securing the nut (27) comprises a nut stop plate (31) fixed to the nut (27) and having a central hole (32) comprising at least one immobilising tab (33) projecting towards the centre of the said central hole, the said nut stop plate (31) being mounted on the rod (21) of the pull ring (16) with the at least one immobilising tab (33) housed in the at least one longitudinal groove (30) of the said rod (21).
  5. The rail wagon (1) according to the preceding claim, characterised in that the nut stop plate (31) is fixed to the nut (27) by at least one screw prevented from rotating.
  6. The rail wagon (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that each connecting device (15) further comprises a locknut stop piece (39) having a fixing end (40) fixed to the locknut (28) and a retaining end (41) opposite to the fixing end (40) and extending towards the tie (3), this retaining end (41) penetrating at least partially between the two horizontal and parallel plates (18a, 18b) of the pull ring (16) and preventing rotation of the locknut (28) relative to the pull ring (16).
  7. The rail wagon (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that each connecting device (15) further comprises a bearing ring (42) mounted on the rod (21) of the pull ring (16) between the receiving piece (25) and the nut (27), this nut (27) having a spherical bearing surface with a convex spherical bearing part (43) which is directed towards the bearing ring (42), the contact surface (44) of the bearing ring (42) being concave and with a spherical bearing surface.
  8. The rail wagon (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that each connecting device (15) further comprises a washer (45) mounted on the rod (21) of the pull ring (16) between the receiving piece (25) and the locknut (28).
  9. The rail wagon (1) according to the preceding claim, characterised in that the washer (45) is a spring washer (45).
  10. The rail wagon (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the horizontal plate of the distal free end of the arms (13) of the forks (12) and/or in that each horizontal plate of the first part (17) of the pull ring (16) is/are substantially oval in shape.
  11. The rail wagon (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the receiving piece (25) is in the form of a fastening loop (47) provided orthogonal to the surface of the end platform (2) to which it is secured or shaped.
  12. The rail wagon according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the receiving piece (25) includes a tubular sheath (48) housed in its through-hole and arranged to come into contact with the rod (21) of the pull ring (16).
  13. The rail wagon (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that each connecting device (15) further comprises an additional connecting device (49) retaining the distal free end of the arm (13) of the fork (12) with the end platform (2) in the event of failure of the means retaining the rod (21) of the pull ring (16) with said end platform (2).
  14. The rail wagon (1) according to the preceding claim, characterised in that each additional connecting device (49) comprises:
    - a fixing piece (50) secured or shaped in one piece with the horizontal plate of said fork (12) and extending in the direction of the end platform (2) along the longitudinal axis of the arm (13) of the fork (12), said fixing piece (50) having a slotted hole (51);
    - a vertical holding pin (52), secured to said end platform (2) and penetrating through the slotted hole (51) of the fixing piece (50).
  15. The rail wagon (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that each connecting device (15) further comprises an housing (53) shaped in each end platform (2), into which the rod (21) of the pull ring (16) and the fixing piece (50) penetrate at least partially, the vertical holding pin (52) and the through-hole of the receiving piece (25) being housed in this housing.
  16. The rail wagon (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that each connecting device (15) further comprises an additional safety device (54) provided on the end platform (2) and comprising a safety strip (55) located under the pull ring (16), in the immediate vicinity of said pull ring (16).
