Definitions
- the invention relates to a dosing device for the metered introduction of a pourable cleaning agent into a treatment room of a program-controlled cleaning device, in particular a dishwasher, with a storage container serving to accommodate the cleaning agent and a support unit which is rotatably arranged about an axis of rotation and which accommodates the storage container in an interchangeable manner, the storage container being a Storage chamber and a dosing channel opening into a dosing opening, as well as with a discharge channel which, in the case of dosing, is in fluid communication with the dosing channel and which opens into the treatment room with a discharge opening.
- the invention further relates to a cleaning device, in particular a dishwasher, with such a dosing device.
- a previously known dishwasher of a typical design is used to clean items to be washed and has a washing room, also called a treatment room, for this purpose.
- the washing compartment is provided by a washing container which holds items to be cleaned when used as intended.
- the washing container To load the washing compartment with items to be washed, which can be, for example, dishes and cutlery, the washing container provides a loading opening. This can be closed in a fluid-tight manner by means of a washing compartment door, which washing compartment door is preferably pivotably mounted about a horizontally extending pivot axis.
- a spray device which usually has several spray arms arranged rotatably within the washing container, is used to apply washing liquid, the so-called washing liquor, to the items to be cleaned.
- process chemicals are generally used, which are supplied to the rinsing chamber during a rinsing and drying process.
- Such process chemicals are, in particular, cleaning chemicals that are supplied to the washing compartment in a program-controlled manner.
- a dosing device provided on the inside of the washing compartment door, which has a storage chamber, is used to accommodate pourable cleaning agents.
- This storage chamber is designed to be open at one end and has a pivotable lid to close the open side.
- the lid is under the force of a spring and therefore strives to pivot into its open position, that is to say into its position which releases the volume space of the storage chamber.
- the storage chamber of the dosing device on the inside of the door is accessible to the user.
- the cap After manual filling with cleaning agent for a cleaning cycle, the cap must be closed by the user against the spring force acting on it.
- the washing compartment door can then be closed and a washing program can be started as intended.
- the locking of the closure lid is released under program control, as a result of which the closure lid moves into its open position due to the spring force acting on it.
- the cleaning agent stored within the chamber can now be completely flushed out and enter the washing space provided by the washing container.
- Devices are also known from the prior art which can accommodate pourable cleaning agents for a plurality of successive cleaning cycles, for example from DE 38 35 719 A1 , which relates to a device for adding granular cleaning agent.
- This previously known device has a storage container which houses granular cleaning agent in an amount that is sufficient for a plurality of cleaning cycles.
- the device has a rotatable dosing device with two dosing receptacles for dispensing cleaning agents in portions. To remove the cleaning agent that has been picked up, both receptacles each have a receptacle base that can be moved like a piston. This is what happens in the event of an ejection translationally, so that previously absorbed cleaning agent can be expelled and transferred to an intermediate chamber, from where further transport into the treatment room can then take place.
- the one from the DE 38 35 719 A1 Previously known device has the particular disadvantage that the cleaning agent gets into the structurally unavoidable gaps between the movable parts of the device, even when used as intended, which leads to leaks. Moisture from the washing compartment can therefore migrate up into the storage container, where undesirable cleaning agent clumps occur, which can lead to a breakdown of the entire device.
- EP 2 982 288 B1 a dosing device for storing pourable cleaning agents for a plurality of successive cleaning agents is known, which has the disadvantages of the DE 38 35 719 A1 Do not adhere to the previously known device.
- This one from the EP 2 982 288 B1 previously known dosing device relates to a generic dosing device.
- the generic dosing device according to the EP 2 982 288 B1 has a storage container to store cleaning products. Furthermore, the dosing device has a support unit that is rotatable about an axis of rotation. This holds the storage container interchangeably.
- the storage container in turn has a storage chamber and a dosing channel opening into a dosing opening.
- the carrying unit and thus also the storage container accommodated by it rotates, as a result of which cleaning agent housed in the storage chamber of the storage container is discharged through the dosing channel which is fluidly connected to the storage chamber.
- the dosing device also has a discharge channel that is in fluid communication with the dosing channel in the case of dosing.
- This discharge channel has an inlet opening on the dosing channel side and a discharge opening opposite the inlet opening, which discharge opening opens into the treatment room.
- the discharge channel after the EP 2 982 288 B1 is provided by a flexible tube that can be pivoted from a rest position to a dosing position and vice versa.
- the pipe providing the discharge channel In the dosing position, the pipe providing the discharge channel is in fluid flow connection with the metering channel, so that cleaning agent dispensed from the storage container can pass through the metering channel and then through the discharge channel into the treatment room.
- the pipe providing the discharge channel is in the rest position, in which it is fluidically decoupled from the metering channel.
- the flexible design of the pipe providing the discharge channel has the advantage that in the case of non-dosing, a fluidic decoupling of the discharge channel and the metering channel is achieved, which prevents any moisture in the discharge channel from rising into the metering channel and into the adjoining storage container.
- a spray device housed in the treatment room is designed in a special way.
- a spray device for supplying washing items with washing liquid typically has a plurality of spray nozzles.
- One of these spray nozzles is aligned with the outlet opening into which the discharge channel provided by the flexible pipe opens. When the spray device is operated as intended, the outlet opening is exposed to flushing liquid, which results in the discharge channel being flushed out.
- the object on which the invention is based is to provide a dosing device of the type mentioned at the outset, which constructively contributes to ensuring that any cleaning agent residues in the discharge channel can be safely rinsed out and/or that an uncontrolled release of cleaning agent residues is avoided and/or that a manual one Cleaning of the pouring channel to remove unwanted cleaning agent deposits can be avoided as far as possible.
- the invention proposes a dosing device with the features of claim 1.
- a flushing device which serves to flush the discharge channel at least in certain areas.
- This rinsing device ensures, when operating as intended, that any cleaning agent residues located on the inside of the discharge channel can be reliably rinsed out.
- a spray nozzle of the spray device arranged within the treatment room of the cleaning device does not serve to flush the discharge channel.
- a rinsing device designed separately from the spray device is provided, which serves the sole purpose of interacting with the discharge channel, so that when used as intended, safe and residue-free rinsing of the discharge channel is guaranteed.
- the flushing device has a flushing nozzle opening into the discharge channel.
- the flushing device according to the invention therefore has at least one flushing nozzle.
- the discharge channel is flushed via this by flushing liquid flowing through the flushing nozzle into the discharge channel.
- the rinsing nozzle opens into the discharge channel, so that the discharge channel can be directly supplied with rinsing liquid via the rinsing nozzle.
- the rinsing nozzle is fluidically connected to a pump with the interposition of a line carrying rinsing liquid.
- a pump is used to supply the rinsing nozzle with rinsing liquid.
- a pump that is already provided by the cleaning device can be used, or a separate pump that only interacts with the flushing device according to the invention is provided.
- the discharge channel is not flushed out permanently, but only at regular intervals, so that there is no need for a pump designed for continuous operation.
- a line is provided for the fluidic connection between the rinsing nozzle and the pump, through which the rinsing liquor conveyed by the pump reaches the rinsing nozzle in normal operation.
- the pump is preferably connected to the treatment room of the cleaning device, so that rinsing liquor coming from the treatment room can serve as rinsing liquid for the rinsing device.
- a sealing flap is pivotably arranged within the discharge channel and can be moved from a closed position to an open position and vice versa, the discharge channel being closed in a fluid-tight manner in the closed position of the sealing flap and divided into a dry area on the dosing channel side and a wet area on the treatment room side is.
- the discharge channel is not provided by a flexible tube. Instead, it is provided that the discharge channel is designed to be unchangeable in its position with respect to the discharge opening opening into the treatment room.
- a sealing flap is provided, which is an integral part of the discharge channel. It is provided that the sealing flap is arranged pivotably within the discharge channel. Preferably motor-driven, the sealing flap can optionally be pivoted from a closed position to an open position and vice versa.
- the discharge channel is closed in a fluid-tight manner when the sealing flap is in the closed position, whereby the discharge channel is divided into a dry area on the dosing channel side on the one hand and a wet area on the treatment room side on the other hand.
- the sealing flap When not metering, the sealing flap is in its closed position. This means that the dry area and wet area of the discharge channel are separated from one another in a fluid-tight manner and the dry area is protected from the unwanted migration of moisture from the wet area.
- the sealing flap opens so that cleaning agent dispensed from the storage container can fall downwards following the force of weight and pass through the discharge channel into the treatment room.
- the sealing flap only opens for the brief moment of dosing and then closes again.
- This configuration has the advantage that moisture entry into the cleaning agent housed in the storage container is reliably avoided, while at the same time ensuring that any cleaning agent that trickles down outside of a dosing case cannot escape in an uncontrolled manner and fall onto the floor at the installation site of the cleaning device.
- the separation of the dry area and the wet area by means of the pivotable sealing flap also has the advantage that when the discharge channel is flushed using the flushing device according to the invention, no flushing liquid enters it unintentionally
- the dry area of the discharge canal can migrate.
- the rinsing nozzle opens into the wet area of the discharge channel. In the intended flushing case, only the wet area of the discharge channel is flushed out, with the dry area being protected from the entry of flushing liquid by the sealing flap that is in the closed position.
- the flushing nozzle is arranged in particular in such a way that in a first position of the sealing flap, in particular in the closed sealing flap position, a first side of the sealing flap, in particular the side of the sealing flap facing the wet area in the closed sealing flap position, can be supplied with flushing liquid. This can prevent cleaning powder from adhering to the sealing flap.
- the rinsing nozzle can also be arranged in such a way that in a second position of the sealing flap, in particular in the open sealing flap position, a second side of the sealing flap, in particular the side of the sealing flap facing the dry area in the closed sealing flap position, can be supplied with rinsing liquid. Although this causes an undesirable introduction of moisture into the dry area, this possibility can be advantageous in connection with special dosing device cleaning or maintenance programs in order to prevent cleaning powder from adhering to the dry side sealing flap.
- the rinsing nozzle is aligned transversely to the direction of fall of cleaning agent falling through the dosing opening into the discharge channel following the weight force in the case of dosing. This ensures an optimized supply of flushing liquid to the discharge channel when flushing as intended.
- the rinsing liquid released by the rinsing nozzle does not act directly on the sealing flap, which helps to avoid unnecessary functional stress on the sealing flap.
- a distribution contour which interacts with the flushing nozzle during operation is provided and is designed opposite the flushing nozzle.
- the flushing device has a flushing nozzle on the one hand and a distribution contour on the other, the flushing nozzle interacting with the distribution contour.
- a rinsing jet emitted by the rinsing nozzle during operation hits the distribution contour formed opposite the rinsing nozzle, as a result of which, depending on the distribution contour, there is a division and distribution of the emitted by the rinsing nozzle Flushing fluid comes.
- the particular advantage of such a distribution contour is that optimized flushing of the entire wet area of the discharge channel is guaranteed.
- distribution contours are particularly preferred, which as a result lead to an expansion of the flushing jet.
- the distribution contour should be designed in such a way that rinsing liquid released by the rinsing nozzle is at least partially moved from the distribution contour back to the opposite wall of the discharge channel, so that the channel wall is also cleaned, through which the rinsing nozzle opens into the discharge channel.
- the sealing flap is arranged in the open position outside the fall corridor of the cleaning agent falling through the discharge channel in the case of dosing.
- the cleaning agent falls radially from the storage container rotating about an axis of rotation over a specific fall corridor or range, which is approximately between 6 o'clock and 9 o'clock with respect to a clock face. It is preferably provided that the sealing flap is arranged in the open position outside this fall corridor of the cleaning agent, which ensures that the metering flap does not represent an obstacle to diarrhea for the cleaning agent to be introduced into the treatment room. It also ensures that there are no unwanted deposits of cleaning agent on the sealing flap when it is in the open position.
- the discharge channel provides a flap space which accommodates the sealing flap in the open position.
- the flap space provided according to the invention therefore represents a kind of fall shadow for the sealing flap, which ensures in the case of dosing that cleaning agent dispensed from the storage container and falling downwards following the weight does not land on the sealing flap which is in the open position.
- the sealing flap has a flap body and a seal carried by it, the seal being inserted into a recess provided by the flap body.
- the seal of the sealing flap lies on a corresponding one when the sealing flap is in the closed position Counter contour, which ensures the fluid-tight separation of the dry area and the moisture area.
- a flap body is provided which holds the seal in a secure position.
- the seal inserted into the recess of the flap body is flush with the surface of the flap body.
- This configuration is particularly advantageous because any cleaning agent residues that accumulate on the sealing flap can easily slip off when the sealing flap is subsequently opened.
- no seal protruding beyond the outer surface of the flap body is deliberately provided, so that any projections that retain cleaning agents are avoided.
- the flap body has a base body and a closure body, which, in the final assembled state of the sealing flap, accommodate the seal carried by the flap body between them at least in sections.
- the seal is therefore arranged between the base body and the closure body in the final assembled state of the sealing flap, which ensures that the seal is held securely on the flap body.
- the seal is designed as a closed ring seal, which has a web that runs around at least in sections on the inside. This web serves to secure the position of the seal and is arranged between the base body and the closure body when the sealing flap is finally assembled.
- the actually desired sealing effect of the seal is therefore not impaired by the intermediate arrangement between the base body and the closure body. Rather, a web provided by the seal, which is clamped between the base body and the closure body in the final assembled state, serves to secure the position of the seal on the flap body.
- the base body and the closure body are mechanically locked and/or welded and/or glued together or otherwise permanently connected to one another.
- a sealing flap is created which, while being robust, enables a permanently secure, fluid-tight closure of the discharge channel in the event of non-dosing.
- the first part of the discharge channel which provides the drying area, is coordinated in its geometry and positioning with the cleaning agent discharge of the rotating storage container, so that the cleaning agent falling during dosing does not come into contact with the cleaning agent forming the discharge channel Canal walls are largely avoided.
- the first part of the discharge channel has end channel walls that are aligned vertically, that is, parallel to the direction of fall of the cleaning agent leaving the storage container in the case of dosing.
- This alignment of the front channel walls ensures that the cleaning agent discharged from the storage container during dosing does not come into contact with the channel walls. This prevents unwanted accumulations of cleaning agents on the channel walls in the dry area of the discharge channel from the outset.
- the invention further proposes a cleaning device, in particular a dishwasher, for example a household dishwasher, with a dosing device of the type described above.
- a cleaning device equipped in this way, the advantages already described arise.
- Fig. 9 shows a dishwasher 1 in a purely schematic representation, as is known from the prior art.
- the dishwasher 1 typically has a housing 2 which accommodates a washing container 3.
- the washing container 3 in turn provides a washing space 4 for holding items to be cleaned.
- the washing container 3 has a loading opening 5. This can be closed in a fluid-tight manner by means of a washing compartment door 6, the washing compartment door 6 being mounted so that it can rotate about a horizontally extending pivot axis.
- Fig. 10 the washing compartment door 6 slackens Fig. 9 in a top view, namely in the viewing direction X Fig. 9 .
- the washing compartment door 6 has a combination device 9 known from the prior art on the inside, which can be closed by means of a corresponding cover.
- the combination device 9 is used in a manner known per se, for example, to hold cleaning agents, rinse aid and/or the like.
- the washing compartment door 6 is also equipped with a dosing device 7, which is used to store cleaning agents for several successive ones cleaning cycles.
- the dosing device 7 provides a storage container for storing pourable, ie preferably powdery and/or granular, cleaning agent for a plurality of cleaning cycles.
- the corresponding amount of cleaning agent is removed from the storage container provided by the dosing device 7 for each washing program cycle and fed to the washing chamber 4 of the washing container 3 via the cleaning agent outlet 8.
- the storage container provided by the dosing device 7 is preferably dimensioned such that it can hold cleaning agent in an amount that is sufficient to complete 20 to 30 rinsing processes.
- the dosing device 7 has a lid 11, which allows access to a receptacle 10 when opened.
- this receptacle 10 serves to accommodate a storage container (not shown in detail in the figures).
- a cleaning agent outlet 8 is used to dispense the cleaning agent from the dosing device 7.
- a discharge opening 12 is ready, which is covered by a lid 13.
- the lid 13 does not serve to seal the discharge opening 12 in a fluid-tight manner, but rather as a splash guard in order to minimize the penetration of food and drink residues into the discharge opening 12 when the basket is loaded.
- the dosing device 7 is followed by a funnel-shaped pouring channel 15. This provides an outlet opening 14 through which cleaning agent from the storage container is discharged when dosing. When used as intended, cleaning agent dispensed from the storage container of the dosing device 7 flows via the funnel-shaped pouring channel 15 to the outlet opening 14.
- a pipe 16 is interposed between the outlet opening 14 of the pouring channel 15 and the discharge opening 12 of the cleaning agent outlet 8 which opens into the washing chamber 4.
- This tube 16 is designed to be pivotable and can be removed from the in Fig. 12 The starting position shown can be moved into a dosing position which provides a fluidic connection between the outlet opening 14 and the discharge opening 12.
- the pipe 16 has two end sections, namely an end section close to the discharge opening 12 on the one hand and an end section opposite this end section on the other hand.
- a bending section is formed between these two end sections, in which area the jacket of the tube 16 is wave-shaped and therefore flexible.
- the end section of the pipe 16 corresponding to the discharge opening 12 is fixed relative to the washing chamber door 6, whereas the other end section is movable relative to this due to the bending section of the pipe, with this end section being guided by means of the guide plate 17.
- this end section of the tube 16 which is guided by the guide plate 17, is brought into operative connection with the outlet opening 14 of the pouring channel 15 by means of an actuator, so that in this position of the tube 16 cleaning agent is discharged from the dosing device 7 via the pouring channel 15 and the tube 16 to the discharge opening 12 and thus can reach the treatment room, i.e. rinsing room 4.
- the invention proposes the design of a dosing device 7, as shown in the Figures 1 to 8 shown is.
- the dosing device 7 has a storage container 18 which is used to accommodate cleaning agent.
- a support unit 19 arranged rotatably about an axis of rotation 20, the support unit 19 serving to accommodate the storage container 18 in an exchangeable manner.
- the storage container 18 in turn provides a storage chamber 21 and a dosing channel 23 opening into a dosing opening 24.
- the storage container 18 and the dosing channel 23 are in fluid communication with the interposition of a dosing chamber 22.
- the carrying unit 19 together with the storage container 18 rotates about the axis of rotation 20, namely counterclockwise.
- cleaning agent stored in portions per 360° rotation from the storage chamber 21 reaches the dosing chamber 22 and from there into the dosing channel 23.
- the dosing chamber 22 serves to dose the cleaning agent in portions, which is then dispensed via the dosing channel 23 through the dosing opening 24 becomes.
- the dosing device 7 also provides a discharge channel 36 which is in fluid communication with the dosing channel 23 in the case of dosing.
- This has an inlet opening 26 on the dosing channel side on the one hand and the discharge opening 12 opposite the inlet opening 26 and opening into the washing chamber 4 on the other hand, as shown in particular in the illustrations Figures 4a and 4b reveal.
- a sealing flap 33 is arranged within the discharge channel 36. This can be pivoted from a closed position into an open position and vice versa, whereby Fig. 1 shows the locking position.
- the sealing flap 33 divides the discharge channel 36 into a dry area 25 on the dosing channel side on the one hand and a wet area 34 on the treatment room side on the other hand.
- the first part of the discharge channel 36 which provides the drying area 25, is followed by the second part of the discharge channel 36, which opens into the washing chamber 4 and provides the wet region 34 fluidically.
- the sealing flap 33 is provided for the purpose of fluid-tight closure of the transfer opening between the dry area 25 and the wet area 34, ie the outlet opening 27 of the first part of the discharge channel 36.
- Fig. 1 shows the closed position of the sealing flap 33 in a top view and Fig. 4a in a side view.
- Fig. 4b shows the open position of the sealing flap 33, according to which the outlet opening 27 of the first part 25 of the discharge channel 36 is opened, so that cleaning agent 35 from the storage container 18 can be channeled through the dry area 25 and the wet area 34 into the washing compartment 4.
- the dosing device 7 also has a rinsing device 48, which during operation serves to rinse out the discharge channel 36 at least in some areas with rinsing liquid.
- a rinsing device 48 which during operation serves to rinse out the discharge channel 36 at least in some areas with rinsing liquid.
- only the wet area 34 of the discharge channel 36 is flushed during operation, and this with the sealing flap 33 in the closed position, so that the flushing liquid released by the flushing device during flushing does not reach the dry area 25 of the discharge channel 36 can.
- the flushing device 48 has at least one flushing nozzle 49, which opens into the discharge channel 36, preferably into the wet area 34 of the discharge channel 36.
- the rinsing nozzle 49 is fluidly connected to a pump (not shown in detail in the figures) with the interposition of a line 50 carrying rinsing liquid.
- the pump On the suction side, the pump is preferably fluidly connected to the washing compartment 4 of the dishwasher 1, so that during operation, washing liquor originating from the washing compartment 4 can be pumped as washing liquid to the washing device 48.
- the flushing nozzle 49 interacts with a distribution contour 51, which is formed opposite the flushing nozzle 49.
- the distribution contour 51 can be incorporated into the channel wall of the discharge channel 36.
- the distribution contour 51 is designed as a separate component that corresponds to the flushing nozzle 49 is arranged opposite on the associated channel wall of the discharge channel 36.
- the jet of rinsing liquid emitted by the rinsing nozzle 49 hits the distribution contour 51, which then leads to the rinsing jet fanning out.
- the result of this fanning out is an optimized flushing of the entire wet area 34 of the discharge channel 36.
- the distribution contour 51 is preferably designed in such a way that rinsing liquid hitting the distribution contour 51 at least partially also reaches back in the direction of the rinsing nozzle 49, so that cleaning is also possible the channel wall of the discharge channel 36 takes place, into which the flushing nozzle 49 opens.
- a dosage of cleaning agent into the washing chamber 4, including the subsequent rinsing cycle, preferably takes place as follows.
- the sealing flap 33 opens by a preferably 90° rotational movement, as a result of which the discharge channel 36 is released over its entire length.
- Figures 4b and 5b allow the sealing flap 33 to be seen in this open position, while the Figures 2c, 2d show the sealing flap in a half-open position.
- Cleaning agent 35 is then metered out via a 360° rotational movement of the carrying unit 19, including the storage container 18 accommodated therein. This twisting movement of the support unit 19 may also occur several times depending on the selected washing program.
- the sealing flap 33 moves back into the closed position, for example as in the Figures 1 and 1a is shown.
- the wet area 34 of the discharge channel 36 is then flushed out, for which purpose the flushing device 48 according to the invention serves.
- the distribution contour 51 formed opposite the rinsing nozzle 49 ensures that the rinsing liquid released by the rinsing nozzle 49 rinses out the entire wet area 34, including the back of the sealing flap 33, without leaving any residue.
- Such a rinsing process can be carried out repeatedly, for example in different rinsing sections of the rinsing program, which ensures the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene in the wet area 34 of the discharge channel 36.
- the front of the sealing flap 33 and parts of the drying area 25 can be rinsed even when the sealing flap 33 is open.
- the Maintenance and cleaning of the discharge channel 36 by the user is reduced to a minimum.
- the first part 25 of the discharge channel 36 has frontal channel walls 29 on the one hand and guide walls 31 and 32 on the other hand, as can be seen in particular from a synopsis of the Figures 1 , 4a and 4b results.
- the guide walls 31 and 32 are arranged between the two front channel walls 29, whereby the two guide walls 31 and 32 connect the two front channel walls 29 to one another.
- Fig. 3 shows the dosing case schematically.
- the storage container 21 rotates counterclockwise.
- every 360° rotation there is a release of cleaning agent stored in the storage chamber 21, which is portioned with the flow interposition of the dosing chamber 22 and discharged via the dosing channel 23.
- the cleaning agent 35 falls radially out of the storage container 18 following the weight force downwards as in Fig. 3 shown.
- the direction of fall of the cleaning agent 35 is designated 28.
- the cleaning agent 35 is dispensed over a certain pivoting range, which is approximately between 6 o'clock and 9 o'clock with respect to the dial of a clock, as this also shows Fig. 3 results.
- the metering channel 23 and the first part 25 of the discharge channel 36 are decoupled from one another in their physical design. Only in the case of dosing, i.e. only when the carrying unit 19 accommodating the storage container 18 is rotated as intended, do the dosing channel 23 and the discharge channel 36 come into fluid flow connection as a result of the twisting movement, and this only for the brief moment of dosing. This decoupling of the metering channel 23 and the discharge channel 36 structurally protects the metering channel 23 from unwanted entry of moisture from the discharge channel 26
- the cleaning agent 35 dispensed from the storage container 18 in the dosing case reaches the The first part 25 of the discharge channel 36 adjoins the metering channel 23 in terms of flow.
- the front channel walls 29 of this channel section fall parallel to the direction of fall, following the weight in the case of metering, through the metering opening 24 into the first part 25 of the discharge channel 36
- Cleaning agent 35 extends, as shown in particular in the illustration Fig. 1 can be recognized.
- the vertical design of the front channel walls 29 has the advantage that cleaning agent 35 dispensed from the storage container 18 can pass through the first part 25 of the discharge channel 36 without collision, so that unwanted adhesion of cleaning agent 35 on the front channel walls 29 cannot occur.
- the end walls 29 have a spacing from one another that exceeds the dimensions of the fall corridor 30 in the width direction.
- the end walls 29 are therefore arranged outside the fall area of the cleaning agent 35, which additionally helps to reliably avoid unwanted adhesion of cleaning agent to the channel walls 29.
- the second part 34 of the discharge channel 36 opens into the discharge opening 12 on the washing compartment side, as in particular Figures 2a , 4a - 5b reveal.
- the opening 12 is designed as a downward dosing gap when the washing compartment door is in the closed position, so it is partially covered by a cover 13 while leaving this dosing gap.
- the dosing gap itself on the other hand, always remains open, that is, both in the case of dosing and in the case of non-dosing.
- the lid 13 only covers the opening 12, which is directed to the side in this horizontal position of the washing compartment door, upwards and thus prevents food or liquid residues or similar falling from the dish rack from penetrating into the opening 12 or the second part 34 of the discharge channel 36.
- cleaning agent 35 falls out of the storage container 18, passes through the first part 25 of the discharge channel 36, the outlet opening 27 opened due to the pivoted sealing flap 33 and reaches the discharge opening 12 via the second part 34 of the discharge channel 36, which means that it is introduced into the treatment room 4 take place.
- This factual connection also emerges from a synopsis of the Figures 5a and 5b , where Fig. 5b shows the dosing case.
- Fig. 2b shows the lid 13 can also be movable, for example as in particular in Fig. 2b shown foldable or movable, so that in the open position of the lid 13 accordingly Fig. 2b an increased access to the transfer channel 34 is provided.
- This open position serves to improve maintenance options and, if necessary, cleaning options for the dosing device and in particular the sealing flap 33. This can be achieved using a brush or similar.
- the lid 13, however, remains in its closed position.
- the two guide walls 31 and 32 of the pouring channel 24 are at least partially aligned towards one another in the direction of the outlet opening 27. This results in a certain channeling of the cleaning agent 35 released from the storage container 18 in the direction of the second part 34 of the discharge channel 36.
- the guide wall 31 is like this Fig. 5b can be seen, preferably arranged in the fall shadow of the cleaning agent 35, ie outside the fall corridor 30 that occurs when dosing. This avoids exposure of the guide wall 31 to cleaning agent.
- the sealing flap 33 is open when dosing. There is therefore no application of cleaning agent 35 to the sealing flap 33.
- a recess is formed between the first part 25 and the second part 34 of the discharge channel 36, which forms a flap space 47 which accommodates the sealing flap 33 in the open position, as can be seen in particular from the illustration Fig. 5b results. This ensures that the sealing flap 33 is prevented from being exposed to cleaning agent 35 even when dosing.
- FIGS. 6 and 7 show the sealing flap 33, which is rotatably arranged in the discharge channel 36, in detail, whereby Fig. 6 a partially sectioned side view and Fig. 7 show a schematic perspective view.
- the sealing flap 33 has a flap body 37 which carries a seal 38.
- the seal 38 is designed as a closed ring seal, which in the final assembled state is inserted into a corresponding receptacle 41 of the flap body 37.
- the flap body 37 in turn has a base body 39 and a closure body 40.
- the seal 38 carried by the flap body 37 is arranged at least in sections between the base body 39 and the closure body 40.
- a web 42 is provided which runs around the inside of the seal 38 at least in sections and which is clamped between the base body 39 and the closure body 40 when the sealing flap 33 is finally assembled.
- the base body 39 and the closure body 40 are mechanically locked together in the final assembled state and/or welded and/or glued or otherwise permanently connected to one another. In this way it is ensured that the seal 38 is carried by the flap body 37 in a precise and secure position, which ensures the sealing function of the sealing flap 33 over the entire service life of the dosing device 7 and/or the cleaning device 1.
- FIG. 8a to 8d Differently designed distribution contours 51 can be seen in a schematic perspective view.
- the distribution contour 51 interacts with the rinsing nozzle 49 formed opposite it in such a way that the jet of rinsing agent emitted by the rinsing nozzle 49 hits the distribution contour 51.
- the rinsing jet emitted by the rinsing nozzle 49 is diversified, which results in an optimized rinsing of the entire wet area 34 of the discharge channel 36.

Description
The invention relates to a dosing device for the metered introduction of a pourable cleaning agent into a treatment room of a program-controlled cleaning device, in particular a dishwasher, with a storage container serving to accommodate the cleaning agent and a support unit which is rotatably arranged about an axis of rotation and which accommodates the storage container in an interchangeable manner, the storage container being a Storage chamber and a dosing channel opening into a dosing opening, as well as with a discharge channel which, in the case of dosing, is in fluid communication with the dosing channel and which opens into the treatment room with a discharge opening. The invention further relates to a cleaning device, in particular a dishwasher, with such a dosing device.
Cleaning devices in general and dishwashers, washing machines and/or the like in particular are well known from the prior art. There is therefore no need for separate printed evidence at this point.
A previously known dishwasher of a typical design is used to clean items to be washed and has a washing room, also called a treatment room, for this purpose. The washing compartment is provided by a washing container which holds items to be cleaned when used as intended.
To load the washing compartment with items to be washed, which can be, for example, dishes and cutlery, the washing container provides a loading opening. This can be closed in a fluid-tight manner by means of a washing compartment door, which washing compartment door is preferably pivotably mounted about a horizontally extending pivot axis.
A spray device, which usually has several spray arms arranged rotatably within the washing container, is used to apply washing liquid, the so-called washing liquor, to the items to be cleaned.
To achieve an optimized rinsing or cleaning result, process chemicals are generally used, which are supplied to the rinsing chamber during a rinsing and drying process. Such process chemicals are, in particular, cleaning chemicals that are supplied to the washing compartment in a program-controlled manner.
According to a previously known construction, a dosing device provided on the inside of the washing compartment door, which has a storage chamber, is used to accommodate pourable cleaning agents. This storage chamber is designed to be open at one end and has a pivotable lid to close the open side. The lid is under the force of a spring and therefore strives to pivot into its open position, that is to say into its position which releases the volume space of the storage chamber.
When the washing compartment door is open, the storage chamber of the dosing device on the inside of the door is accessible to the user. After manual filling with cleaning agent for a cleaning cycle, the cap must be closed by the user against the spring force acting on it. The washing compartment door can then be closed and a washing program can be started as intended. During the washing program, the locking of the closure lid is released under program control, as a result of which the closure lid moves into its open position due to the spring force acting on it. The cleaning agent stored within the chamber can now be completely flushed out and enter the washing space provided by the washing container.

The storage container in turn has a storage chamber and a dosing channel opening into a dosing opening. In the case of dosing, the carrying unit and thus also the storage container accommodated by it rotates, as a result of which cleaning agent housed in the storage chamber of the storage container is discharged through the dosing channel which is fluidly connected to the storage chamber.
The dosing device also has a discharge channel that is in fluid communication with the dosing channel in the case of dosing. This discharge channel has an inlet opening on the dosing channel side and a discharge opening opposite the inlet opening, which discharge opening opens into the treatment room.
The flexible design of the pipe providing the discharge channel has the advantage that in the case of non-dosing, a fluidic decoupling of the discharge channel and the metering channel is achieved, which prevents any moisture in the discharge channel from rising into the metering channel and into the adjoining storage container.
Although the design described above has proven itself in everyday practical use, there is a need for improvement. Because it has been shown that safe flushing of the discharge channel by a spray nozzle provided by the spray device is not guaranteed. For example, the spray jet path between the spray nozzle and the outlet opening can be blocked due to improper loading of the treatment room with items to be washed. Another disadvantage is that the spray nozzle aligned with the outlet opening is not available for feeding the items to be washed with cleaning liquid. This reduces the washing quality of the cleaning device. In addition, the alignment of the spray nozzle can change during normal operation, so that the discharge opening cannot be reliably hit permanently.
Therefore, based on the prior art described above , the object on which the invention is based is to provide a dosing device of the type mentioned at the outset, which constructively contributes to ensuring that any cleaning agent residues in the discharge channel can be safely rinsed out and/or that an uncontrolled release of cleaning agent residues is avoided and/or that a manual one Cleaning of the pouring channel to remove unwanted cleaning agent deposits can be avoided as far as possible.
To solve this problem, the invention proposes a dosing device with the features of
According to the embodiment according to the invention, a flushing device is provided which serves to flush the discharge channel at least in certain areas. This rinsing device ensures, when operating as intended, that any cleaning agent residues located on the inside of the discharge channel can be reliably rinsed out. In contrast to the prior art, a spray nozzle of the spray device arranged within the treatment room of the cleaning device does not serve to flush the discharge channel. Rather, a rinsing device designed separately from the spray device is provided, which serves the sole purpose of interacting with the discharge channel, so that when used as intended, safe and residue-free rinsing of the discharge channel is guaranteed.
According to a further feature of the invention it is provided that the flushing device has a flushing nozzle opening into the discharge channel. The flushing device according to the invention therefore has at least one flushing nozzle. When used as intended, the discharge channel is flushed via this by flushing liquid flowing through the flushing nozzle into the discharge channel. For this purpose, the rinsing nozzle opens into the discharge channel, so that the discharge channel can be directly supplied with rinsing liquid via the rinsing nozzle.
According to a further feature of the invention, it is provided that the rinsing nozzle is fluidically connected to a pump with the interposition of a line carrying rinsing liquid. A pump is used to supply the rinsing nozzle with rinsing liquid. Either a pump that is already provided by the cleaning device can be used, or a separate pump that only interacts with the flushing device according to the invention is provided. However, it is preferred to provide a separate pump that interacts solely with the flushing device according to the invention, since only a small-sized pump is required to properly supply the discharge channel with flushing liquid. Furthermore, the discharge channel is not flushed out permanently, but only at regular intervals, so that there is no need for a pump designed for continuous operation.
A line is provided for the fluidic connection between the rinsing nozzle and the pump, through which the rinsing liquor conveyed by the pump reaches the rinsing nozzle in normal operation. On the suction side, the pump is preferably connected to the treatment room of the cleaning device, so that rinsing liquor coming from the treatment room can serve as rinsing liquid for the rinsing device.
According to a further feature of the invention, it is provided that a sealing flap is pivotably arranged within the discharge channel and can be moved from a closed position to an open position and vice versa, the discharge channel being closed in a fluid-tight manner in the closed position of the sealing flap and divided into a dry area on the dosing channel side and a wet area on the treatment room side is.
Accordingly, in contrast to the prior art, the discharge channel is not provided by a flexible tube. Instead, it is provided that the discharge channel is designed to be unchangeable in its position with respect to the discharge opening opening into the treatment room. To protect the storage container and the cleaning agent contained therein from moisture coming from the treatment room, a sealing flap is provided, which is an integral part of the discharge channel. It is provided that the sealing flap is arranged pivotably within the discharge channel. Preferably motor-driven, the sealing flap can optionally be pivoted from a closed position to an open position and vice versa. The discharge channel is closed in a fluid-tight manner when the sealing flap is in the closed position, whereby the discharge channel is divided into a dry area on the dosing channel side on the one hand and a wet area on the treatment room side on the other hand.
When not metering, the sealing flap is in its closed position. This means that the dry area and wet area of the discharge channel are separated from one another in a fluid-tight manner and the dry area is protected from the unwanted migration of moisture from the wet area.
When dosing, the sealing flap opens so that cleaning agent dispensed from the storage container can fall downwards following the force of weight and pass through the discharge channel into the treatment room. The sealing flap only opens for the brief moment of dosing and then closes again.
Any residual cleaning agent that trickles down falls into the discharge channel, but cannot pass through it when the sealing flap is closed and remains in the dry area until the next dosing event. Any cleaning agent residues that have trickled down lie on the closed sealing flap and, during the next dosing process, fall together with the cleaning agent that is then properly introduced into the discharge channel through the opening released by the sealing flap during metering into the wet area of the discharge channel, from where it is passed on to the treatment room .
This configuration has the advantage that moisture entry into the cleaning agent housed in the storage container is reliably avoided, while at the same time ensuring that any cleaning agent that trickles down outside of a dosing case cannot escape in an uncontrolled manner and fall onto the floor at the installation site of the cleaning device.
The separation of the dry area and the wet area by means of the pivotable sealing flap also has the advantage that when the discharge channel is flushed using the flushing device according to the invention, no flushing liquid enters it unintentionally The dry area of the discharge canal can migrate. For this purpose, according to a further feature of the invention, it is provided that the rinsing nozzle opens into the wet area of the discharge channel. In the intended flushing case, only the wet area of the discharge channel is flushed out, with the dry area being protected from the entry of flushing liquid by the sealing flap that is in the closed position. The flushing nozzle is arranged in particular in such a way that in a first position of the sealing flap, in particular in the closed sealing flap position, a first side of the sealing flap, in particular the side of the sealing flap facing the wet area in the closed sealing flap position, can be supplied with flushing liquid. This can prevent cleaning powder from adhering to the sealing flap. However, the rinsing nozzle can also be arranged in such a way that in a second position of the sealing flap, in particular in the open sealing flap position, a second side of the sealing flap, in particular the side of the sealing flap facing the dry area in the closed sealing flap position, can be supplied with rinsing liquid. Although this causes an undesirable introduction of moisture into the dry area, this possibility can be advantageous in connection with special dosing device cleaning or maintenance programs in order to prevent cleaning powder from adhering to the dry side sealing flap.
According to a further feature of the invention, it is provided that the rinsing nozzle is aligned transversely to the direction of fall of cleaning agent falling through the dosing opening into the discharge channel following the weight force in the case of dosing. This ensures an optimized supply of flushing liquid to the discharge channel when flushing as intended. The rinsing liquid released by the rinsing nozzle does not act directly on the sealing flap, which helps to avoid unnecessary functional stress on the sealing flap.
According to a further feature of the invention, a distribution contour which interacts with the flushing nozzle during operation is provided and is designed opposite the flushing nozzle. Accordingly, the flushing device has a flushing nozzle on the one hand and a distribution contour on the other, the flushing nozzle interacting with the distribution contour. A rinsing jet emitted by the rinsing nozzle during operation hits the distribution contour formed opposite the rinsing nozzle, as a result of which, depending on the distribution contour, there is a division and distribution of the emitted by the rinsing nozzle Flushing fluid comes. The particular advantage of such a distribution contour is that optimized flushing of the entire wet area of the discharge channel is guaranteed. In this respect, distribution contours are particularly preferred, which as a result lead to an expansion of the flushing jet. In addition, the distribution contour should be designed in such a way that rinsing liquid released by the rinsing nozzle is at least partially moved from the distribution contour back to the opposite wall of the discharge channel, so that the channel wall is also cleaned, through which the rinsing nozzle opens into the discharge channel.
According to a further feature of the invention, it is provided that the sealing flap is arranged in the open position outside the fall corridor of the cleaning agent falling through the discharge channel in the case of dosing.
In the case of dosing, the cleaning agent falls radially from the storage container rotating about an axis of rotation over a specific fall corridor or range, which is approximately between 6 o'clock and 9 o'clock with respect to a clock face.
In this context, according to a further feature, it is provided that the discharge channel provides a flap space which accommodates the sealing flap in the open position. The flap space provided according to the invention therefore represents a kind of fall shadow for the sealing flap, which ensures in the case of dosing that cleaning agent dispensed from the storage container and falling downwards following the weight does not land on the sealing flap which is in the open position.
According to a further feature of the invention, it is provided that the sealing flap has a flap body and a seal carried by it, the seal being inserted into a recess provided by the flap body. The seal of the sealing flap lies on a corresponding one when the sealing flap is in the closed position Counter contour, which ensures the fluid-tight separation of the dry area and the moisture area. In order to ensure that the seal lies securely on the counter contour in a fluid-tight manner, a flap body is provided which holds the seal in a secure position.
According to a further feature of the invention it is provided that the seal inserted into the recess of the flap body is flush with the surface of the flap body. This configuration is particularly advantageous because any cleaning agent residues that accumulate on the sealing flap can easily slip off when the sealing flap is subsequently opened. In this respect, no seal protruding beyond the outer surface of the flap body is deliberately provided, so that any projections that retain cleaning agents are avoided.
According to a further feature of the invention, it is provided that the flap body has a base body and a closure body, which, in the final assembled state of the sealing flap, accommodate the seal carried by the flap body between them at least in sections. The seal is therefore arranged between the base body and the closure body in the final assembled state of the sealing flap, which ensures that the seal is held securely on the flap body.
According to a further feature of the invention, it is provided that the seal is designed as a closed ring seal, which has a web that runs around at least in sections on the inside. This web serves to secure the position of the seal and is arranged between the base body and the closure body when the sealing flap is finally assembled. The actually desired sealing effect of the seal is therefore not impaired by the intermediate arrangement between the base body and the closure body. Rather, a web provided by the seal, which is clamped between the base body and the closure body in the final assembled state, serves to secure the position of the seal on the flap body.
According to a further feature of the invention, it is provided that the base body and the closure body are mechanically locked and/or welded and/or glued together or otherwise permanently connected to one another. In this way, a sealing flap is created which, while being robust, enables a permanently secure, fluid-tight closure of the discharge channel in the event of non-dosing. According to a further feature of the invention, it is provided that the first part of the discharge channel, which provides the drying area, is coordinated in its geometry and positioning with the cleaning agent discharge of the rotating storage container, so that the cleaning agent falling during dosing does not come into contact with the cleaning agent forming the discharge channel Canal walls are largely avoided. For this purpose, it is provided that the first part of the discharge channel has end channel walls that are aligned vertically, that is, parallel to the direction of fall of the cleaning agent leaving the storage container in the case of dosing. This alignment of the front channel walls ensures that the cleaning agent discharged from the storage container during dosing does not come into contact with the channel walls. This prevents unwanted accumulations of cleaning agents on the channel walls in the dry area of the discharge channel from the outset.
The invention further proposes a cleaning device, in particular a dishwasher, for example a household dishwasher, with a dosing device of the type described above. With a cleaning device equipped in this way, the advantages already described arise.

According to the invention, the
