Claims (8)

  1. Storage container for arrangement in a dosing means (7) of a program-controlled cleaning device (1), in particular a domestic dishwasher, comprising a base body (28) which provides a storage space (29) for cleaning agents (36), the storage space (29) having a storage chamber (31) of a size that is used to store powder cleaning agent (36) in an amount that is sufficient for carrying out a plurality of cleaning programs, and the storage chamber (31) of the storage space (29) having a discharge opening (35) for discharging cleaning agent from the storage space (29) into a metering chamber (34), which opening opens into the metering chamber (34) of the storage container, characterised in that the storage space (29) provides a storage compartment (30) which is used as a cleaning agent reservoir, is separated from the storage chamber (31) by means of a partition wall (32) and has a size that is used to store powder cleaning agent in an amount that is sufficient to carry out a cleaning program, or has a size that is sufficient to be able to store 80% to 90% of the amount of cleaning agent that is needed to carry out a proper cleaning program.
  2. Storage container according to claim 1, characterised in that the storage chamber (31) and the storage compartment (30) are in fluidic communication by means of an intermediate arrangement of a passage opening (33).
  3. Storage container according to either of the preceding claims, characterised in that the planes of the opening cross sections of the passage opening (33) and discharge opening (35) are aligned at an angle to one another while avoiding a direct operative connection.
  4. Method for operating a dosing means (7) of a program-controlled cleaning device (1) which has a storage container (15) according to any of preceding claims 1 to 3 and a motor-driven drive device (16) for the storage container (15), wherein the drive device (16) receives the storage container (15) rotatably about an axis of rotation (17), the storage container (15) being rotated in the dosing direction (37) by a full revolution when being metered, wherein the storage container is rotated counter to the dosing direction (37) in the event of a detected under-delivery of cleaning agent (36).
  5. Method according to claim 4, characterised in that in the event of a detected under-delivery of cleaning agent (36), the storage container (15) is rotated from an initial position counter to the dosing direction (37) by a predetermined angle and then rotated back to its initial position or beyond.
  6. Method according to claim 5, characterised in that in the event of a detected under-delivery of cleaning agent (36), the rotating movement is repeated several times.
  7. Method according to any of preceding claims 4 to 6, characterised in that in the event of a detected under-delivery of cleaning agent (36), a rotating movement is carried out by an angle of 110° to 220°, preferably 160° to 200°, even more preferably 180°.
  8. Method according to any of preceding claims 4 to 7, characterised in that an under-delivery of cleaning agent (36) is detected by means of a sensor on the cleaning device side.
