Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a small carriage, in particular of low height, for a sliding opening.
  • the invention relates to such a carriage for any type of sliding opening.
  • the invention relates to a carriage for a sliding opening - such as a sliding opening for a sliding door - interior or exterior -, a sliding window or a sliding patio door - of all dimensions. It may be a sliding opening of an opening assembly comprising a single sliding opening or an opening assembly comprising a plurality of sliding openings. It may advantageously be a sliding opening comprising glazing. However, the invention applies to any sliding opening, in particular to an unglazed sliding opening.
  • a carriage for a sliding sash adapted to be placed in a lower horizontal crossbar of the sash of an sash sliding and to guide the sliding sash in movement relative to the rail of a frame.
  • a carriage comprises a rigid metal body, a roller having an axial passage and rotatably mounted relative to the rigid metal body on a support shaft secured to the rigid metal body passing through the axial passage.
  • the diameter of the roller is chosen to be large enough to allow optimal rolling and facilitate the movement of the sliding sash.
  • Such a carriage comprises a bearing for rotation of the roller relative to the support shaft, interposed between the roller and the support shaft.
  • the rigid metal body has a height necessarily at least equal to the height of the roller.
  • the height of the carriage receiving housing in the crosspiece is imposed by the height of the carriage which is itself imposed by the height of the rigid metal body and by the height - in particular by the diameter - of the roller and the shaft support. Consequently, the carriage receiving housing and the lower crosspiece of the chassis have a height that is necessarily greater than the height of the rigid metal body and which cannot be reduced taking into account the height of the roller.
  • the cart of EP1116843 does not make it possible to reduce the height of the lower horizontal cross member - or even the upper horizontal cross member of the frame - of a sliding sash frame.
  • the document GB1180838 describes a carriage for sliding sash comprising a cylindrical roller with rolling groove.
  • the invention aims to propose a carriage for a sliding sash allowing, with equivalent mechanical properties - in particular mechanical resistance -, a reduction in the height of the lower crossbar - and where appropriate the upper crossbar - of the frame of the sliding sash .
  • the invention aims more particularly to provide such a carriage making it possible to adapt - in particular to increase - the glazed surface of a sliding glazed opening.
  • the invention also aims to provide such a carriage making it possible to increase the ratio of the glazed surface to the unglazed surface of a glazed sliding opening.
  • the invention also aims to provide such a carriage making it possible to reduce the unglazed surface of a sliding opening in favor of its glazed surface.
  • the invention aims to provide such a carriage making it possible to minimize thermal bridges between the interior face and the exterior face of the frame of the sliding sash.
  • the invention aims to provide a carriage for a sliding sash having a reduced ratio of the height of the carriage to the mass of the sliding sash.
  • the invention also aims to provide such a trolley capable of supporting a weight per roller greater than 40 kg, in particular greater than 50 kg.
  • the invention aims in particular to propose such a carriage having at most two rollers and capable of supporting a sliding opening with a mass of up to 300 kg - in particular up to 260 kg -.
  • the invention also aims to propose such a trolley adapted to be able to be placed in an economical sliding sash frame, formed from a reduced mass of raw material - in particular aluminum -.
  • the invention also aims to propose a trolley for a sliding sash which overcomes the disadvantages of trolleys for sliding sash with rollers with tires and a central rolling bearing.
  • the invention aims in particular to provide such a trolley which remains efficient in terms of rolling quality for an increased duration of use.
  • the invention aims to provide such a carriage which presents no risk of separation of the contact surface of each roller with the rolling rail.
  • the invention also aims to provide a carriage for a sliding sash which is resistant to cutting by the rolling rail.
  • a carriage for a sliding sash according to the invention has a reduced height compared to the carriages of the state of the art and that it is adapted to be able to be placed in a lower crossbar of a chassis. sliding opening, said crossbar itself being able to be of reduced height.
  • Such a reduced height crosspiece makes it possible to reduce the main (non-glazed) surface area of the frame and to increase the glazed surface area of the sliding sash.
  • the use of a carriage for a sliding sash according to the invention makes it possible to increase the glazed surface of a glazed sliding sash comprising such a carriage and to increase the light flux and the thermal flux passing through this glazed sliding sash, particularly when sunny periods.
  • a carriage for a sliding sash according to the invention can support and allow the rolling of a sliding sash of high mass on the rail of a frame, without breakage or significant degradation of the carriage.
  • a carriage for a sliding sash according to the invention can support a sliding sash whose mass per roller can reach around 65 kg (for example a sliding sash of around 260 kg comprising two carriages and four rollers in total) .
  • a trolley from the state of the art can at best support a sliding sash whose mass per roller generally does not exceed 50 kg.
  • a trolley for a sliding sash according to the invention although it has a roller of height and reduced radius, allows ease of movement (opening/closing) of the sliding sash at least maintained compared to the trolleys of the state of the art.
  • the inventors have observed that the radial superposition of a single central bearing rotatably mounted around a fixed shaft and a roller secured to this single central bearing according to the state of the art does not in reality make it possible to reduce the height of the cart. In fact, reducing the height of the roller by reducing the radius of this roller does not allow satisfactory sliding of the opening sliding relative to the rail.
  • the use of two bearings integral with the rigid body and distributed on either side of the rolling zone makes it possible to reduce the height of the roller by a height at least equal to twice the radial thickness of the crown of the bearing, in particular of a height equal to twice the sum of the radial thickness of the crown of the bearing and the radial thickness of the crown of the roller.
  • Such a reduction in the height of the roller does not hinder the sliding of the sliding sash on the rail, but makes it possible to reduce the height of the lower horizontal crossbar and, where applicable, the upper horizontal crossbar, of the frame of this sash. sliding.
  • such a carriage for a sliding sash according to the invention has the aforementioned advantages and/or improvements without requiring an increase in the number of rollers of the carriage for a sliding sash according to the invention.
