- the optical sheet (3) is secured in the aligned position in a preconfigured manner and its rotation is avoided during assembling in between said open cell structure (2) and the light guide plate (5)/ diffuser plate (4).
- LCD TV components can be assembled in the manner that waving of the optical sheet (13) in the long term can be prevented, which in turn ensures avoiding of performance problems in association with the backlight module.
- the adhesive only applicable along the peripheral region of the light guide plate (5) or diffuser plate (4) serves to the purpose of forming connection bridges simplifying the overall design by eliminating the need to create special gaps, as is practiced in the prior art, to compensate material bending/expanding, thereby allowing a substantially thinner design.
- a moisture resistant adhesive having epoxy resin compounds generally marketed as one component or two component epoxy systems can be used as the preferred adhesive.
