Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a pump arrangement, at least comprising a first housing in which at least one first drive means for conveying a fluid is arranged in a rotatably mounted manner, with a first drive shaft of the first drive means extending at least through a first side wall of the first housing along an axial direction .
  • the pump arrangement is a delivery device for a water-urea solution (eg Adblue), which is preferably used in a motor vehicle for treating an exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine.
  • Such pump arrangements for water-urea solutions have been known for a long time.
  • an electric drive unit is usually connected to the drive shaft of the drive means.
  • the drive means for conveying a fluid is driven via the drive shaft of such rotary pumps.
  • drive means z. B. gear rotors (for gear pumps) are known.
  • a pump arrangement that is as compact as possible is to be provided, in which case noise from the pump arrangement is to be avoided as far as possible.
  • the solution does not freeze in the lines as far as possible.

  • the motor is arranged coaxially and laterally adjacent to a pump having a pump housing.
  • the pump is formed by an impeller.
  • the U.S. 2013/0071268 A1 discloses a urea gear pump coaxially and laterally adjacent to an electric drive.

  • the invention relates to a pump arrangement, at least comprising a first housing in which at least one first drive means for conveying a fluid is arranged in a rotatably mounted manner, a first drive shaft of the first drive means extending at least through a first side wall of the first housing along an axial direction; wherein at least a first rotor of a first axial-flow electric drive is disposed on the first drive shaft outside of the first housing, the first axial-flow electric drive has only one (first) stator (associated with the first axial flux electric drive and first rotor) (thus in particular no further (second) stator).
  • the first housing encloses at least the first drive means in a liquid-tight manner, with connections being provided for supplying and draining off the fluid to be conveyed.

  • AFM axial flux electric drive
  • the first housing is not liquid-tight, so that the fluid to be pumped as a leakage flow, z. B. along the first drive shaft, can escape from the first housing.
  • the first housing is preferably designed such that as a result of this leakage flow from the first housing (i.e.
  • the leakage flow is at most 5% of the delivery capacity (the delivery volume flow) of the pump arrangement.

  • SMC Soft Magnetic Composite
  • the coils of the stator include cores that are preferably pressed and baked from a soft magnetic material.
  • the SMC material is not sintered here. Rather, tempering takes place below a melting temperature, which is however sufficient for the cores to retain their geometry over the long term.
  • the rotor of the axial flux electric drive can have permanent magnets or also soft magnetic elements, for example in recesses.
  • a permanently excited synchronous or brushless DC motor, abbreviated BLDC can be formed with permanent magnets as an axial flux electric motor, while a reluctance motor can be created as an electric motor in an axial design with soft magnetic elements, for example.
  • stator in particular using SMC
  • further details, also relating to a rotor can be found, for example, in the later publication PCT/EP2015/075036 of the applicant, to which reference is made within the scope of the disclosure of the present invention.
  • the first axial flow electric drive has in particular an electrical power consumption of less than 100 watts, preferably less than 50 watts.
  • the fluid is delivered with a delivery pressure of at most 10 bar.
  • the first drive shaft is not supported outside of the first housing or is supported by at least one bearing, which absorbs forces acting exclusively in the axial direction.
  • a radial bearing that is to say a bearing which serves to provide support against forces acting in the radial direction, outside of the first housing.
  • the first drive shaft is therefore in particular mounted exclusively in the first housing, so that the installation space for bearings that would otherwise be required is outside of the first housing is not required. A particularly compact design of the pump arrangement is thus possible.
  • At least the first drive shaft is preferably mounted exclusively via the first housing, e.g. B. on the first side wall and / or a second side wall, in particular the material of the side walls forms the bearing surface.
  • a leakage flow of the fluid to be conveyed along the first drive shaft can cause the bearings to be lubricated.
  • a pressure chamber of the pump arrangement is preferably fluidly connected to an area outside of the first housing via an opening at least in the first side wall.
  • a volume flow of the fluid to be conveyed that is controlled can thus exit from the first housing and flow back into the first housing via the bearings.
  • the first axial flow electric drive is arranged in a second housing which can be releasably connected to the first housing in a repeatable manner.
  • the first axial flow electric drive is protected from the fluid to be pumped, with the individual components of the pump arrangement being replaceable and/or serviceable independently of one another.
  • the stator (ie its components, in particular coils, cores and yoke ring) is arranged in a radial direction outside of the at least one first drive means.
  • the stator (ie at least one of the components of the coil, core and yoke ring) is preferably overlapping with the first housing along the axial direction arranged overlapping with at least one bearing of the first drive shaft, particularly preferably overlapping with the at least one first drive means.
  • This preferred embodiment enables a particularly compact design of the pump arrangement, with (exclusively) the at least one first drive means, the first side wall and the first rotor being arranged next to one another along the axial direction and thus determining the size of the pump arrangement along the axial direction.
  • stator is inseparably connected to the first side wall.
  • stator forms at least part of the first end wall.
  • the first drive means is a first gear rotor.
  • This can e.g. B. be designed as part of a gear pump, wherein the gear pump can be constructed as an external gear pump with preferably involute gearing, as an internal gear pump or as an annular gear pump, for example as a gerotor pump or as a sickle pump.
  • the gear pump can be a screw pump.
  • At least the first gear rotor is made of a plastic.
  • the gear rotor having a further noise-reducing agent in addition to the porosity.
  • the transmission path of the structure-borne noise waves from generation at the gear rim to the hub can be interrupted or the sound waves can be broken or reflected in such a way that the structure-borne noise signal at the output, namely the shaft/bore of the Gear rotor, turns out to be significantly lower.
  • the variations in density can be rotationally symmetrical or local.
  • a gear rotor in a disc arrangement with different densities is also possible.
  • the angle of the plane of each Layers can deviate from the preferred level, the horizontal level of the component. Since the structure-borne noise propagates better in materials with a higher density than in materials with a lower density, it is also possible to incorporate sound ducts in the gear wheel rotor or just in the toothing, which specifically deflect or weaken the structure-borne noise waves.
  • the channels and/or local density variations can be filled with pure material of different densities as well as with combinations of different materials such as iron powder or oil.
  • noise-reducing geometries can be realized with different manufacturing processes. These include, for example, an intelligent filling shoe, in particular a rotating filling shoe for filling with at least two different materials, as is the case, for example, in DE 10 2014 006 374 emerges. This means that, for example, density variations can already be produced during the pressing process. Furthermore, a manufacturing process referred to as green-in-green, as is known from DE 10 2009 042 598 shows, can be used to generate density variations, for example.
  • Manufacturing process as a conventional pressing of metallic powder, as well as in a modified form from the WO 2013/067995 A1 emerges, as well as an additive manufacturing of metallic material and / or plastic, for example with a device as from the DE 10 2013 103006 A1 exemplified, can also be used, in particular to produce low-noise gear rotors. But it can also be used manufacturing processes, as they are basically from the EP 2 221 131 A1 , the EP 1 407 877 A1 , the EP 1 34527 A2 or that JP S60-162 702 A emerge.
  • the stator is formed by the first housing.
  • the stator can be let into the first housing for this purpose. This is possible, for example, by means of a green-in-green method, which has already been described above and to which reference is made in this regard.
  • the stator can also be inserted into the first housing.
  • an outside of the first housing can have a cutout into which the stator can be pressed.
  • the first housing in this Be area made of plastic, while the stator is made of metallic material.
  • a return ring can be pressed in, on which the stator poles are arranged.
  • stator i.e. at least one of the components of the coil, core and yoke ring
  • stator is arranged so that it overlaps at least one bearing of the first drive shaft, particularly preferably so that it overlaps with the at least one first drive means.
  • the first housing has a non-magnetic material at least in a region adjacent to the stator, preferably the electromagnetic yoke (ring) and in particular to the cores of the stator.
  • the necessary formation of the electromagnetic field for generating a torque on the rotor of the axial flux motor is not disturbed or only slightly disturbed.
  • a second axial flow electric drive is arranged outside of the first housing and on a second side wall of the first housing opposite the first side wall; wherein the second axial-flow electric drive is torque-transmittingly connected to either the first drive shaft or to a second drive shaft of a second drive means disposed in the first housing.
  • the second axial-flow electric drive is connected to the second drive shaft in a torque-transmitting manner, the second drive means being a second gear rotor which is arranged to mesh with the first gear rotor for conveying the fluid, the two gear rotors being arranged braced relative to one another via the two axial-flow electric drives .
  • the bracing of the two gear rotors causes the gear rotors to constantly mesh without play, so that noise can be minimized.
  • this tension can also be set when the direction of rotation of the drive means is reversed (e.g. when pumping back a water-urea solution into a tank to prevent ice from forming in the lines).
  • the two axial-flow electric drives are constructed in the same way, they are offset from one another with respect to the arrangement of the stator poles at opposite ends of the gear rotor.
  • the offset can be designed such that the torque effect of the wave trough caused by the first axial flow electric drive and the wave crest caused by the second axial flow electric drive are superimposed. This achieves a balanced, and above all more uniform, drive of the gear rotor. This in turn leads to a reduction in noise emissions at the meshing gears.
  • the equalization of the torque on the driven shaft leads in particular to a smoother contacting of the individual teeth of the meshing gears. A hitting of the meshing teeth can at least be minimized.
  • At least the first axial flow electric drive forms at least one heating element, which is thermally conductively connected to the first side wall via at least one heat conducting structure.
  • one stator with its coils can be used as a heating element of the first housing.
  • the heat that occurs there can, for. B. be introduced conductively via the first side wall in the first housing.
  • the power electronics can provide a corresponding current that flows through the coils of the stator poles.
  • the rear surface of the stator is completely connected to the first housing, ie z. B. forms the first side wall itself.
  • the stator is therefore preferably placed directly on the first housing as the first side wall or z. B. used in a designed as a cover of the first housing first side wall.
  • a metallic, electrically conductive powder can also be used to produce the stator or the first side wall or heat-conducting structures, for example in the case of a rotationally rotating filling shoe for filling with at least two different materials, such as is known, for example, from DE 10 2014 006 374 emerges.
  • a metallic, electrically conductive powder can also be used to produce the stator or the first side wall or heat-conducting structures, for example in the case of a rotationally rotating filling shoe for filling with at least two different materials, such as is known, for example, from DE 10 2014 006 374 emerges.
  • the first side wall forms at least part of a fluid-carrying channel. At least part of the side wall preferably contacts the pumped fluid in the area of the channel (e.g. in the area of the drive means). In particular, only this partial area is designed with a thermally conductive structure, so that the heat generated in the area of the stator can be released to the fluid in a targeted manner via the thermally conductive structure.
  • a temperature sensor for example, can be used to generate heat. Such a temperature sensor can be attached to the pump assembly itself.
  • a further embodiment provides that an existing temperature sensor on power electronics of the pump arrangement is used to decide whether and how strong a current is sent through the stator.
  • Such information can be stored, for example, in a control device that is assigned to the urea injection. For example, if excessively low temperatures are detected, heating can take place before the internal combustion engine actually starts. If you think of today's keyless systems for opening and starting, opening could trigger the precautionary heating. This would make it possible to heat the pump itself, which is supplemented, for example, with heat that originates, for example, from heating the tank or as waste heat from a combustion engine that is still warm. This means that the system could be or remain operational immediately, even at low temperatures.
  • the pump arrangement can have, for example, a spring-loaded tracking device in its interior, which allows minimizing, for example, gap dimensions that would otherwise arise.
  • the motor vehicle urea pump can also have a second gear on a second shaft, the two gears meshing with one another and thereby building up pressure.
  • Both gears can be made of the same material.
  • both gear wheels can also be constructed from different materials.
  • one gear wheel can be made of plastic and the other gear wheel can be made of metal.
  • Composite gears can also be used, that is, the gear has different materials, for example a metal core and a plastic surface or vice versa.
  • helical gears are preferably used.
  • the gear or gears are preferably manufactured as spur gears with a manufacturing quality in which the gear has a quality of the designed gear in accordance with DIN 3961 and DIN 3962 with regard to at least one parameter, preferably a total profile error F ⁇ , a profile angle error f H ⁇ and a profile form error f ⁇ of at least quality 6, preferably of at least quality 5 or better for at least one of these values, in particular at least these three values.
  • the first housing can also have additional damping, by means of which pumping noise is reduced.
  • Such density variations as described above can be used here, for example.
  • Other options described here for minimizing structure-borne noise in or on the housing can also be used to achieve the additional damping.
  • an attenuation of a noise or a noise spectrum cannot only be achieved by different sintered materials and/or densities of sintered materials.
  • damping can be set in a targeted manner.
