Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a guardrail, in particular a construction site guardrail.
  • guardrails are well-known protective devices, which prevent an accidental fall into space, for example from a staircase, a landing, a balcony, a mezzanine, a terrace or a roof. They are generally fixed, i.e. non-movable, and include a set of elements, rails, associated with each other to form a fixed barrier, and which are supported by vertical uprights, clamps or posts, fixed so permanent, using platinum type fixing means, to a structural element of a building or part of a building, a slab or a wall for example.
  • guardrails are also known, temporary, removable guardrails, put in place during construction.
  • the rails usually wooden boards or metal tubes, are arranged horizontally adjacent, one on top of the other, and resting on hooks placed on the posts.
  • the document DE10304089 describes a scaffolding guardrail comprising a vertical frame mounted on a single fixing post.
  • the document EP1 683 930 describes a guardrail comprising a fixing clamp on a formwork element in which a vertical post is fitted on which horizontal elements extending on either side and on the same side of the post are positioned, and which are positioned overlap, to connect the handrails of the guardrail, while in the document FROM 10 2010 006560 , the horizontal elements extend on either side of the post, offset vertically along the post.
  • guardrails have the disadvantage of requiring, for their production, the handling of numerous elements, connection elements or rails, which are also bulky or cumbersome, which makes the assembly of the guardrails particularly difficult.
  • the repeated assembly and disassembly of each element of the guardrail(s) is not only arduous, but also very time-consuming, which increases the risk of falling during their assembly as long as it is not complete.
  • a one-piece guardrail comprising two lateral elements, forming a barrier, associated with a vertical post, fixed by any suitable means on a structural element of the construction, preferably by simple fitting onto a fixing plate.
  • guardrails are generally used already installed on precast or prefabricated walls before the walls are erected, in order to ensure the safety of workers during construction, for example during the assembly of walls or the construction of a floor.
  • the guardrails are then detached from the walls then fixed to the precast walls of the upper level, and so on, in order to ensure continuous safety throughout the entire work phase.
  • the document CN206174442 describes another example of a one-piece guardrail, which is adjustable in height. It comprises a fixed upright forming a barrier, the lateral edges of the latter forming a rail on which a second movable upright slides vertically.
  • One-piece guardrails have the disadvantage of not providing optimal safety. Indeed, having a predetermined and fixed width, they are often difficult to arrange them edge to edge in a suitable manner. This disadvantage is all the more marked when they are used pre-assembled on prefabricated or precast walls, because their position requires very precise layout when drawing the prefabricated walls. In addition, certain configurations, at angles for example, require specific guardrails. The one-piece guardrails cannot then be arranged edge to edge, thus creating a space, a break in continuity in the balustrade formed by all of the adjacent guardrails, which constitutes an increased risk of falling.
  • the present invention aims to provide a guardrail which does not have the disadvantages of the state of the art.
  • the present invention aims to provide an alternative to existing solutions of the state of the art.
  • the present invention aims to provide a removable guardrail, easy to handle, set up, assemble and dismantle.
  • the present invention aims to provide a guardrail for a prefabricated wall or a wall with integrated formwork and wall with integrated formwork and insulation, which is adaptable to different types of walls, while providing improved safety.
  • a one-piece guardrail comprising a first barrier element, a second barrier element, and a support, all substantially vertical, the support extending along a vertical or substantially vertical axis Y-Y 'and the first and second barrier elements extending substantially horizontally from, and on either side of, the support, the barrier elements each extending in an X-Y plane parallel to each other, and offset relative to each other along an axis Z-Z', which is perpendicular, or substantially perpendicular, to the axis Y-Y'.
  • the present invention also relates to the use of one or more guardrails according to the invention, for securing a construction site or securing one or more structural elements of a building.
  • the present invention further relates to a prefabricated wall or a wall with integrated formwork or with integrated formwork and insulation, for the construction of a building comprising one or more guardrails according to the invention and to a balustrade
  • the present invention also relates to a safety balustrade comprising a plurality of guardrails according to the invention, the guardrails being arranged adjacent and superimposed on each other, and in which at least one of the first and second barrier elements one of the guardrails is superimposed on one of the first and second barrier elements of at least one, preferably two, adjacent guardrail(s).
  • the present invention also relates to a method of producing a safety balustrade comprising the steps of taking a plurality of guardrails according to the invention, arranging the guardrails adjacent to each other on a structural element of 'a building, so that at least one of the first and second barrier elements of a given guardrail is superimposed on one of the first and second barrier elements of at least one, preferably two, adjacent guardrail(s ).
  • the method comprises the steps of taking a plurality of prefabricated walls or walls with integrated formwork or with integrated formwork and insulation, equipped with at least one guardrail according to the invention, to arrange the walls prefabricated walls or walls with integrated formwork or integrated formwork and insulation, adjacent to each other to produce a structural element of a building, so that at least one of the first and second barrier elements of a given guardrail is superimposed on one of the first and second barrier elements of at least one, preferably two, adjacent guardrail(s).
  • top”, “bottom”, “above”, “below”, “upper”, “lower”, “vertical” and “horizontal” refer to the normal position of use of the guardrail 1 according to the invention, and of the elements which constitute it, and in particular in its position, or their position, as represented in figures 1 to 9 .
  • the guardrail 1 according to the invention is a one-piece guardrail, that is to say it is not made up of an association of initially separate elements, such as rails, sub-rails, spacers or post(s).
  • the guardrail 1 comprises a first barrier element 2 and a second barrier element 3, which are rigid. They are also fixed, that is to say not movable relative to each other.
  • the first barrier element 2 and the second barrier element 3 are vertical elements, or substantially vertical, which extend horizontally from, and on either side, of a vertical or substantially vertical axis Y-Y', each in an XY plane parallel or substantially parallel to each other ( figure 1 ), but offset from each other along an axis ZZ' which is perpendicular, or substantially perpendicular, to the axis YY' ( figure 4 ).
  • the guardrail 1 thus adopts a cross section, in the plane XZ, in the shape of “Z” ( figures 2 , 4 has 9 ).
  • This offset between the first and second barrier elements 2, 3 makes it possible to superimpose on one or both barrier elements 2, 3 of a first guardrail 1, a barrier element 2 or 3 of one or more other guardrails 1 monoblocks according to the invention, arranged adjacent to the first, as shown in figure 1 by broken lines.
  • This has the advantage of making it possible to arrange, side by side, adjacent guardrails 1, without breaking continuity in the balustrade that they form, and therefore without breaking protection continuity at the periphery of the structural element of the construction, for example of the wall on which they are arranged.
  • guardrails 1 for prefabricated walls or walls with integrated formwork or with integrated formwork and insulation, equipped with guardrails 1 according to the invention, before or during construction, it is possible to use only one single type of guardrail 1, having a single type of defined width.
  • the guardrails 1 thus have the advantage of being adapted to a wide variety of widths of prefabricated walls, without there being any break in continuity in the protection of workers, and of adapting to different construction configurations. , without modification of its structure or dimensions.
  • first barrier element 2 and the second barrier element 3 comprise, or are, uprights or frames, comprising vertical frame elements 4, 5, between which extend substantially horizontally longitudinal frame elements 6, 7, optionally also longitudinal reinforcing elements 8, 9, advantageously also panels 10, 11 forming a plinth in the lower part of the guardrail 1.
