Description
The present invention relates to a lighting system with a plurality of luminaires arranged in series, wherein the luminaires are electrically and mechanically coupled to each other, wherein the electrical coupling of two lamps in one lamp a male connector and in the other a female connector is provided.
Trunking systems primarily serve the basic or illumination of areas, for example in shops. In particular, in shops where fruit and vegetables, possibly also meat is sold, it has been found to be advantageous if special radiators are provided, which are above the goods sold, so for example, the vegetables, are arranged to suggest to the consumer by the color of the vegetables, it is particularly fresh goods.
Since the surfaces to be illuminated are relatively large, the lighting systems have a plurality of successively arranged lights, which are both electrically coupled together, as well as mechanically. This means that when mounting the corresponding lighting strip systems, the individual lights are each separately electrically coupled to each other, as well as mechanically connected to each other. Plugs are provided for the electrical coupling of the luminaires for forming the lighting strip system, the mechanical connection is made via corresponding locking systems, which can be actuated more or less easily.
The problem underlying the invention is to reduce the assembly time of such lighting systems and overall to make the installation easier.
A trunking system of the type mentioned, which meets these requirements, according to the invention is characterized in that the provision of a mechanical and an electrical coupling through the electrical connector, the two male and female connectors are engageable with each other in such a way that the two connectors in the longitudinal direction the light band are positively connected with each other. This results in the following. As already explained at the beginning, such Lichtbandsysteme represent as a plurality of lights arranged in series, wherein the mechanical and the electrical coupling takes place in that is made by the connectors of the two lamps to be connected both the electrical contact and the mechanical lock. That is, there is no separate mechanical locking and electrical contact instead. The Mechanical locking takes place in the longitudinal direction of the lights, since the lights of the lighting system are also arranged in series with each other.
Advantageous features and embodiments of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims.
Thus, it is provided in particular that the male and female connectors of two lamps to be coupled are aligned horizontally in such a way that the luminaires to be connected can be connected to each other transversely to the longitudinal axis of the lighting system. In this case, the connectors can advantageously be positively connected to one another in the vertical direction, ie in the Z direction, in order to carry out the mechanical coupling in addition to the electrically conductive connection. This prevents that the two lights can be pulled apart after the coupling in the longitudinal direction. In particular, it is provided in this connection that the process of connection or separation of the two lights takes place together in the vertical direction, so the connection takes place in the moment when two lights are mounted on the ceiling.
According to a further advantageous feature of the invention it is provided that the male and female connectors are arranged on the end faces of two luminaires to be connected. In this case, provision is made in particular for projections to be provided in the region of the end faces of the two luminaires to be connected, which overlap one another in the assembled state of two luminaires, wherein the connectors for electrical contacting and mechanical connection are provided in the region of the projections of the two luminaires.
For fixing the luminaires in the contacted and overlapping state, the luminaires are latching in the Z-direction in the region of the overlapping projections, in particular detachably connected to one another in a releasable manner in the Z direction.
In particular, with respect to the male connector, a first housing with male plug contacts is provided. Through the male plug contacts both the mechanical connection and the electrical connection with the female connector is accomplished. In detail, it is further provided in this context that the male plug contacts are arranged in a recess of the first housing. Corresponding thereto, advantageously, the female connector to a second housing, wherein the second housing has female plug contacts for receiving the male plug contacts, wherein the second housing is receivable through the recess of the first housing. The recess of the first housing is in this case approximately U-shaped, and thus receives the second housing in two directions in a form-fitting manner. In this respect, the second housing is held out in the first housing.
According to a further feature of the invention, the lamp has a lamp body, the lamp body having two spaced apart, parallel to each other and extending substantially over the length of the lamp body extending first and second electrical conductor systems, with the male and female plug contacts in Connection can be brought. These conductor systems, which are also to be referred to as busbars, finally connect the ends of the lamp body arranged male and female plug contacts. However, these ladder systems can also be used to connect consumers, such as spotlights, to illuminate corresponding goods. Specifically, in terms of the Ladder systems provided that the first conductor system comprises three conductors L1, D and N, and the second conductor system comprises three conductors L2, D + and L3. The conductors L1, L2 and L3 serve, for example, the power supply, for example a spotlight, as described above, or else other consumers. At the same time, however, the conductors L1, L2, and L3 are also used to supply power to a power supply unit that supplies low-voltage power to the light bars. The other conductors D + and D- provide as part of a bus wiring for the control of the lights. Basically, the control can also be done by a simple analog signal through the wires D + and D-. N denotes the neutral conductor, that is to say the ground.
According to a further feature of the invention, the male connector with the two conductor systems in electrically connected contact sockets, which serves the power supply in particular of the power supply for the power supply of low-voltage lighting in the lamp body. In this case, the contact sockets are advantageously in electrical connection with the two conductor systems through the male plug contacts, the conductor systems being connected to the 220 V mains.
According to a particular feature of the invention, the housing of the male connector on a phase selector switch, through which the desired conductor L1, L2 or L3 is controlled. In this case, the phase selection switch is advantageously operable from the outside in the fully assembled state of the light band system, that is to say without dismantling the light band system or the luminaires. To control the desired conductor L1, L2 or L3, the phase selector switch on its circumference on three contact fingers, which are arranged spaced apart in height rotatable in the phase selector switch. The position of the contact fingers correlates to the course of the conductors L1, L2 or L3. That is, each finger can be brought into contact with a single conductor.
