Description

DOMAINE DE L'INVENTIONFIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention belongs to the field of carpentry.

More particularly, the present invention relates to a carpentry cladding particularly suitable for building renovation.

ETAT DE L'ARTSTATE OF THE ART

In the field of building, thermal and acoustic regulations are becoming more and more demanding and it is therefore necessary to put in place effective solutions allowing insulation objectives to be achieved, both for new buildings and for the renovation of buildings. existing, in particular at the level of joinery.

DE 200 08 697 U1 describes a profile for mounting a window frame in an opening in a wall, which is or will be provided on its outer side with a layer of insulating material.

The US patent US 6,427,397 discloses a covering making it possible to improve the thermal performance of windows. The cladding comprises a double-skin box in which an insulator is inserted. The box is fixed to the frame of the carpentry by screws crossing the frame right through or is integrated into said frame during its manufacturing process.

A disadvantage of this solution is that it requires, for installation without removal of the existing joinery, the drilling of the frame right through, which, in addition to aesthetic considerations, risks causing thermal bridges.

The return 101 has at one free end a fixing clip 102A.

Those skilled in the art will understand from reading what follows that the angle between the main part 100 and the return 101 is not necessarily equal to 90°, and may for example be strictly greater than 90°.

The outer skin thus delimits an inner side INT and an outer side EXT of the covering 1, as illustrated in the figure 1 , a separation between the two sides being represented symbolically in broken lines.

The profile 10 also has a compartmentalization skin 103 extending from the main part 100 of the outer skin, parallel to the return 101 and in the same direction as the latter, that is to say on the inside INT. The compartmentalization skin 103 comprises at a free end a fixing clip 102B forming a profiled cooperation means capable of cooperating with the fixings 12B, 12C, as will be understood subsequently.

The profile 10 may be made of synthetic material, metal, wood, polyester, fiberglass, foamed plastic with skin effect, or any other material allowing the production of such profiles, and depending on the use to be made. done.

The insulation 11 is distributed over the entire profile 10 of the trim 1 and fixed to the outer skin of said profile, on the inner side INT, by any known fixing means, for example by gluing.

The constituent material of the insulation may be chosen from materials conventionally used for thermal and/or acoustic insulation, for example glass wool, rock wool, extruded polyurethane or foam, expanded polystyrene, or materials of plant origin such as wood and cellulose fibers, feathers, shredded textiles...

In a preferred embodiment, the insulation is polyurethane, this material having an overall lower thermal conductivity than the other materials mentioned above, which gives the casing 1 better thermal performance than the other insulators.

Sur la figure 1, le montant de l'habillage 1 comprend Ă©galement deux fixations 12B, 12C.On the figure 1 , the amount of the trim 1 also includes two fasteners 12B, 12C.

With reference to figures 2A and 2B , the bindings 12B, 12C each comprise a longitudinal portion 120B, 120C and a binding cooperation means 121B, 121C, capable of cooperating with the profile 10.

The fixing cooperation means 121B, 121C may for example be a protruding part extending perpendicular to the longitudinal portion, as illustrated in the figure 2A , or even a fixing clip, as illustrated in the figure 2B .

With reference to the figure 1 , the attachment cooperation means 121B of the first attachment 12B is able to cooperate with the attachment clip 102B by inserting the projecting part into said attachment clip, and the attachment cooperation means 121C of the second attachment 12C is able to cooperate with a free end 104 of the main part 100 of the outer skin of the profile 10, in order to make the fasteners 12B, 12C integral with said profile.

Le rĂ´le de maintien est jouĂ© pour la première fixation 12B par la portion longitudinale 120B.Advantageously, the second fixing 12C comprises a retaining return 122C making it possible, when said second fixing cooperates with the profile 10, to hold the insulation 11 in place. The length of the longitudinal part 120C of the second fixing 12C is therefore advantageously slightly less than the thickness of the insulation 11 at the place where said second fixing is put in place, to favor this maintenance. The holding role is played for the first attachment 12B by the longitudinal portion 120B.

Of course, those skilled in the art will understand that the shapes of the fasteners are not limited to those shown in the drawings.

In the embodiment illustrated in the Figure 3A , a vapor barrier 105 is implemented on a free surface of said insulation opposite to a surface in contact with the main part 100 of the profile 10.

In alternative embodiments, the trim 1 also comprises at least one heavy acoustic mass 106 implemented on the free surface of said insulator opposite to a surface in contact with the main part 100 of the profile 10, instead of the bumper. -steam 105, as shown in the Figure 3B , or in addition to it. The at least one heavy mass acoustic 106 can be made of a bituminous material, acoustic HD PVC or any other type of heavy mass traditionally used for its acoustic properties. The at least one heavy acoustic mass improves the acoustic performance of the carpentry in terms of sound insulation.

Advantageously, an insulator of the elasticized polystyrene or mineral wool type can be used in order to improve the acoustic performance of the cladding.

The figure 4 illustrates the implementation of the covering 1 according to the invention, in the embodiment described on the Figures 1, 2A, and 2B , on a glazed carpentry 2 comprising a frame 20, an opening 21 and a glazing 22 and placed on a support wall 3.

The support wall 3 can for example be a masonry-type load-bearing wall, for example made of concrete, bricks or concrete blocks. The support wall 3 can also be a mantle wall as used in thermal insulation from the outside, for example an insulator associated with a cladding or a coating. In a non-limiting manner, the insulation associated with the cladding can be of the mineral, synthetic, vegetable or animal insulating type, and the cladding of wood, steel or aluminum. In the following, it will be considered that the support wall 3 is masonry, without however limiting the invention to this type of support wall alone.

The figure 4 is a horizontal sectional view and the trim 1, the frame 20 and the opening 21 represented correspond to uprights, but the principle of implementation described below can be applied in a similar manner to crosspieces.

In an alternative implementation not shown, the trim 1 is implemented on a joinery 2 and a siding or any other type of support capable of receiving joinery.

In the same way, the implementation principle described below can be applied to opaque joinery of the wooden door type for example, or to garage doors.

Conventionally, the fixed frame 20 can be made of wood, aluminum or PVC, or any other material traditionally used in the production of fixed frames.

The glazing 22 considered can be either single, double or triple glazing.

Masonry 3 can be made using any material usually used, for example brick, stone, breeze blocks, concrete.

  • dans une Ă©tape de fixation 1100, les fixations 12B, 12C sont mises en Å“uvre sur les diffĂ©rents supports : dormant 20, maçonnerie 3, par tout moyen connu, par exemple vissage, cloutage, clipsage, collage, soudage, en fonction de la nature des supports ; sur les figures, des vis sont utilisĂ©es ;
  • dans une Ă©tape de dĂ©coupe 1200, si nĂ©cessaire, les dimensions des profilĂ©s 10 et de l'isolant 11 sont rĂ©ajustĂ©es aux dimensions du montant du dormant 20, ou de la traverse, par exemple par dĂ©coupe ;
  • dans une Ă©tape d'amĂ©nagement 1300, si nĂ©cessaire, des amĂ©nagements sont rĂ©alisĂ©s dans les profilĂ©s 10 et l'isolant 11, par exemple perçages de rĂ©cupĂ©ration d'eaux dans le cas oĂ¹ l'habillage 1 est une traverse basse, ou perçages pour mise en Å“uvre des Ă©lĂ©ments de ventilation dans le cas oĂ¹ l'habillage 1 est une traverse haute ;
  • dans une Ă©tape de mise en place de l'Ă©tanchĂ©itĂ© 1400, un joint d'Ă©tanchĂ©itĂ© 107 est placĂ© dans le clip de fixation 102A du retour 101 du profilĂ© 10 ;
With reference to the figure 10 , the installation of the covering 1 on the carpentry 2 and the masonry 3 is done according to the following process (1000):
  • in a fixing step 1100, the fasteners 12B, 12C are implemented on the various supports: frame 20, masonry 3, by any known means, for example screwing, nailing, clipping, gluing, welding, depending on the nature of the brackets; in the figures, screws are used;
  • in a cutting step 1200, if necessary, the dimensions of the profiles 10 and of the insulation 11 are readjusted to the dimensions of the upright of the frame 20, or of the crosspiece, for example by cutting;
  • in a fitting step 1300, if necessary, fittings are made in the profiles 10 and the insulation 11, for example water recovery holes in the case where the trim 1 is a low crosspiece, or holes for placing implementation of the ventilation elements in the case where the covering 1 is a high crosspiece;
  • in a step of installing the seal 1400, a seal 107 is placed in the fixing clip 102A of the return 101 of the profile 10;
  • in an installation step 1500, the sections 10 and the insulation 11 are attached to the set of fasteners 12B, 12C, the first fastener 12B cooperating with the fastener clip 102B of the compartmentalization skin 103 and the second fastener 12C cooperating with the free end 104 of the main part 100.

The seal 107 makes it possible to ensure a seal between the exterior EXT and interior INT sides of the cladding 1 when said cladding is implemented on the carpentry 2 and the support wall 3, thus limiting the passage of water or of dust between the frame 20 and the trim 1 and or between the frame 20 and the opening 21. Depending on the dimensions of the trim 1, the seal 107 is in contact with the frame 20, as shown figure 8 , or with the opening 21, as illustrated in the figures 5 and 6 . The seal 107 and in particular its dimensions must therefore be chosen according to the gap which would exist between the frame 20 and trim 1 or sash 21 and trim 1 if said trim was implemented in the absence of said seal.

In the case of a low crosspiece, spouts or storm guards are implemented to cover the evacuation holes for seepage water drainage.

In the exemplary embodiment described and illustrated in the figure 4 , the fasteners 12B, 12C are secured to the profile by clipping, but they can also, in an alternative embodiment, cooperate with said profile through other profiles, for example plastic or metal.

Ainsi l'épaisseur de l'isolant 11 est non nécessairement uniforme le long du profilé 10 pour s'adapter à la forme de la menuiserie 2, et en particulier du dormant 20 et ou de l'ouvrant 21.Trim 1 described on the figure 4 is a cover trim whose profile 10 has a return 101 of greater length than that of the compartmentalization skin 103, and the thickness of the insulation 11 between said return and said skin decreases as it moves away from said return. This difference in thickness creates an overlap which makes it possible to adapt the cladding 1 to carpentry profiles as illustrated in the figure 4 . Thus the thickness of the insulation 11 is not necessarily uniform along the profile 10 to adapt to the shape of the carpentry 2, and in particular of the frame 20 and or of the opening 21.

In an alternative embodiment as shown in the Figure 3B , the trim 1 is of substantially uniform thickness, and the thickness of the insulation 11 is substantially uniform along the profile 10. Those skilled in the art will understand that the trim 1 can thus be adjusted to adapt to the carpentry that he is required to cover. In the same way, several compartmentation skins 103 can be used in order, for example, to increase the number of fixing points between the carpentry 2 and the trim 1.

Also, the implementation of the dressing 1 as illustrated in the figure 4 and described above relates to joinery placed in the rabbet. Those skilled in the art will understand that the covering 1 can be adjusted to adapt to other types of laying, for example laying in a tunnel as illustrated in the figure 5 , or apply. In the embodiment illustrated in the figure 5 , the covering 1 is a covering of substantially uniform thickness.

The profile 10 of the covering 1 can be veneered in order, in addition to an aesthetic appearance, to limit emissivity or convection of the materials. For example, the covering 1 can be clad with a PMMA-type thermoplastic polymer or with wood.

Drainage can be direct or indirect. The routing of the drainage water and therefore the machining 5 must be studied so as not to deteriorate the thermal and acoustic performance of the assembly made up of the cladding 1 and the joinery 2.

The dressing 1 can also be implemented on a roller shutter 4 comprising a box 40 and an apron 41, as illustrated in the figure 7 , the apron being symbolically represented by a circle. A shutter slat 42 of the deck 41 makes it possible to close the passage hole for the slats of the said deck to limit acoustic and thermal leaks through the said hole, so as not to degrade the performance of the trim 1 and the carpentry 2. In the figure, the slats of the apron, other than the shutter slat 42 are not shown.

The portion of the carpentry covered by the trim 1 may vary from one embodiment to another.

By way of example, the trim 1 illustrated in the figure 5 covers the fixed frame 20 and the opening 21, while the trim 1 illustrated on the figure 8 only covers the frame.

With reference to the figure 9 , the trim 1 may also have an extension 1A along the support wall 3, in order for example to benefit from a larger insulating surface.

The covering 1 according to the invention can be used both in the context of the construction of new buildings and in the context of a renovation or home improvement program.

L'invention présente les avantages suivants :

  • elle permet d'amĂ©liorer l'isolation thermique de la menuiserie notamment par limitation des ponts thermiques, notamment entre le dormant de la menuiserie et la maçonnerie, en respect des rĂ©glementations en vigueur ;
  • outre l'isolation thermique, elle permet d'amĂ©liorer l'isolation acoustique de la menuiserie, en masquant les entrĂ©es directes comme les drainages, la ventilation, ou encore le jeu entre ouvrant et dormant, ainsi que par l'adjonction Ă©ventuelle d'au moins une masse acoustique ;
  • elle permet d'amĂ©liorer l'Ă©tanchĂ©itĂ© de la jonction dormant/ouvrant de la menuiserie ;
  • elle permet d'amĂ©liorer le système de ventilation avec possibilitĂ© de crĂ©er une chambre intermĂ©diaire tampon permettant un prĂ©chauffage de l'air ;
  • les Ă©lĂ©ments de fixation de l'habillage aux supports peuvent Ăªtre adaptĂ©s selon le support ;
  • la mise en Å“uvre de l'habillage ne nĂ©cessite ni la dĂ©pose, ni une dĂ©gradation de la menuiserie en place, ni une intervention par l'intĂ©rieur de l'habitat dans le cadre d'une rĂ©novation, ;
The invention has the following advantages:
  • it makes it possible to improve the thermal insulation of the carpentry, in particular by limiting thermal bridges, in particular between the frame of the carpentry and the masonry, in compliance with the regulations in force;
  • in addition to thermal insulation, it improves the acoustic insulation of the carpentry, masking direct entrances such as drainage, ventilation, or even the play between opening and frame, as well as by the possible addition of at least one acoustic mass;
  • it makes it possible to improve the tightness of the frame/sash junction of the carpentry;
  • it makes it possible to improve the ventilation system with the possibility of creating an intermediate buffer chamber allowing preheating of the air;
  • the fixing elements of the covering to the supports can be adapted according to the support;
  • the implementation of the dressing requires neither the removal, nor a deterioration of the carpentry in place, nor an intervention by the interior of the habitat within the framework of a renovation;
  • such a covering adapts to any type of carpentry: covering, sheepskin, snapdragon.
