Claims (8)

  1. Procédé de contrôle et/ou de suivi d'un billet de banque individuel et d'un précurseur du billet de banque sous la forme d'une copie individuelle sur une feuille de billets de banque pendant le processus de fabrication du billet de banque et de la copie individuelle, caractérisé en ce qu'une caractéristique individuelle du billet de banque ou de la copie individuelle est détectée et mémorisée dans une base de données en vue d'une éventuelle consultation ultérieure, la caractéristique individuelle du billet de banque ou de la copie individuelle étant appliquée sur le billet de banque ou la copie individuelle pendant le processus de fabrication du billet de banque ou de la copie individuelle ou la caractéristique individuelle étant appliquée sur le billet de banque ou la copie individuelle immédiatement après la fabrication du billet de banque ou du précurseur.
  2. Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la caractéristique individuelle est appliquée sur le billet de banque ou sur la copie individuelle au moyen d'un laser ou au moyen d'un procédé d'impression ou d'un autre procédé de reproduction.
  3. Procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 2, caractérisé en ce que la caractéristique individuelle est formée par un chiffrement comprenant un ou plusieurs caractères alphanumériques, ou un code tel qu'un code barre ou un code 2D ou un autre type de code lisible par machine.
  4. Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la caractéristique individuelle du billet de banque ou de la copie individuelle est formée par une propriété de matière et/ou de forme du billet de banque ou de la copie individuelle.
  5. Procédé selon la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce que la propriété de matière et/ou de forme du billet de banque ou de la copie individuelle est formée par la qualité de surface individuelle, la qualité de matière, la translucidité, les dimensions géométriques du billet de banque ou de la copie individuelle et/ou le positionnement individuel d'éléments de sécurité ou caractéristiques de sécurité individuels sur et/ou dans le billet de banque ou la copie individuelle.
  6. Procédé selon l'une au moins des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que la caractéristique individuelle peut être lue au moyen d'un procédé mécanique et est détectée à l'aide d'un capteur correspondant.
  7. Procédé selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce que la caractéristique individuelle comporte des caractéristiques détectables optiquement, luminescentes, magnétiques, infrarouges, électriquement conductrices et/ou lisibles à l'aide de champs électromagnétiques.
  8. Procédé selon l'une au moins des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que la base de données est mémorisée en vue d'une éventuelle consultation ultérieure dans une installation de traitement de données électronique tel qu'un ordinateur ou un réseau informatique.
