- the pump 6 with its detergent container it would also be possible for only the pump 6 with its detergent container to be provided and for the pump 5 with its detergent container 9 to be omitted.
- these optional possibilities do not change the fact that the embodiment described above with two pumps 5 and 6 represents a particularly preferred embodiment.
- the pressure switch 18 is primarily used to determine whether the feed line 13 is actually emptied. If this is determined by a pressure drop in the supply line 13, the pressure switch 18 can switch off the return pump 15. Furthermore, the pressure switches 18 and 19 can indirectly represent a level indicator of the containers 9 and 10, since there is also a pressure drop in the associated lines 13 and 16 when the containers 9 and 10 are emptied and accordingly no more fluid can be fed.

Description
Investigations carried out within the scope of the invention have shown that, in known cooking appliances, a proportion of cleaning agent remains in the lines through which the cleaning agent is supplied to the cooking space. Since two cleaning steps are usually used (e.g. with a cleaner and then with a rinse aid), the remaining cleaning agent is mixed up when the other cleaning agent is used. A consequence of such mixing can be a reduction in the effectiveness of the cleaning agents.

Other methods use a water rinse, where the detergent line is rinsed with drinking water. This requires a connection to a drinking water connection, which is very complex and may only be carried out in accordance with the drinking water regulations.
It is therefore the object of the present invention to create a cooking appliance of the type specified in the preamble of
This problem is solved by the features of
In detail, a cooking device is created that can in particular be a commercial cooking device.
As usual, the cooking appliance has a cooking space which is arranged in a device housing and which is provided with a cooking space door that can be opened and closed in order to be able to bring food into the cooking space and to be able to remove it therefrom.
In addition to the other customary components, in particular a fan wheel and a heating device surrounding the fan wheel on the outside are arranged in the cooking chamber.
Furthermore, the cooking appliance according to the invention has a cooking chamber cleaning device which, in a particularly preferred embodiment, comprises at least one pump, but two pumps which are in flow connection with an associated cleaning agent container at the pump inlet. For example, one of the detergent containers can contain a cleaner and the other a rinse aid. On the output side, the pumps can each be connected to a supply line that can convey the cleaning agent and rinse aid to the cooking space. Furthermore, the cleaning device has a cleaning agent distributor device which is arranged in the cooking space and which is in flow connection with the cleaning agent supply line. This distribution device can be, for example, a rotor onto which the detergent or rinse aid can be applied and, by rotating, distribute the detergent or the rinse aid in the cooking space. Alternatively, other distribution devices, such as suitable nozzles, are also conceivable.
The cooking appliance according to the invention is characterized in that, in addition to a pump or in addition to the two pumps described above, a return pump is provided, which is arranged in a return line. The return line branches off from the supply line and opens into the cooking chamber, preferably in a different area than the supply line.
The return pump is thus placed in such a way that it can empty the line system of the cooking chamber cleaning device via the return line, whereby the at least one pump or the two pumps described above ensure, due to their blocking effect, that the return pump only removes cleaning agent from the supply line, but not from it the detergent container, sucks in during the emptying process of the supply line. In addition to the components described above, further components can optionally also be provided, such as, in particular, components for function monitoring, control / regulating devices and / or pressure switches.
Since the cleaning agent, which is pumped out of the supply line by the return pump, is introduced into the cooking chamber, there is the advantage that this pumped-out cleaning agent can also be used for cleaning the cooking chamber.
After the first cleaning agent, such as the cleaner, has been fed in, another cleaning agent, in particular a rinse aid, can be fed to the cooking space by means of a further pump. The supply line is also emptied when using this second cleaning agent in the manner described above by the return pump and the pumped-out rinse aid is fed back into the cooking chamber via the return line, so that this second cleaning agent can also be used to clean the cooking chamber.
This results in the further advantage that contact between the different cleaning agents can at least largely be avoided, so that no negative effects (such as chemical reactions) can occur as a result of avoiding contact between the cleaning agents.
Here it is also possible that, in particular depending on the type of pump, when one of the pumps for the first or second cleaning agent is in operation, the return line used for emptying is filled with the respective cleaning agent little or not at all.
However, it is also possible that the return pump is also operated when the first or second pump is in operation, so that cleaning agent can also be conveyed into the cooking chamber via the return pump in one cleaning step, which has the advantage of spatially different dosing of the cleaning agent in the cooking chamber, preferably in different areas, such as the area in which the food is usually arranged and in the area of the rotor and the heater.
The invention is also based on the object of creating a method for cleaning a cooking space which prevents cleaning agent from penetrating into the cooking space after the cleaning process and, in particular, enables more efficient use of the cleaning agent or agents.
This problem is solved by the features of claim 8.

The
In the example, the cleaning device 4 also has a

After the cleaning device 4 has started, the first cleaning agent RF1 can, for example, be introduced via the
After this first cleaning step V1 has been carried out, the
