Definitions

  • the present invention relates to the field of compressible collapsible boxes which are for example constructed with a rigid collapsible cardboard.
  • the present invention relates to the field of compressible foldable cardboard boxes, for example pizza boxes, shoe boxes or the like.
  • the present invention relates to a blank of a compressible collapsible box, in particular to a blank of a compressible collapsible pizza box.
  • Packaging boxes are typically formed from a single sheet of cardboard (or other material) configured to be folded along fold lines.
  • the majority of these packaging boxes are intended for single use and are frequently used for temporary storage and transport of goods, for example for temporary storage and transport of food. Once the goods are delivered or consumed, the box should be discarded or recycled by the user. Quite often, the dimensions of these boxes make it difficult to dispose of or recycle them in conventional waste containers, and it would therefore be desirable that such boxes be preconfigured to ensure easy disposal. Therefore, boxes such as those described in the documents WO2007 / 149441 and US2005 / 087591 include at least one destruction aid means aiding in the compression / destruction of the boxes to reduce their size and / or volume.
  • divisional means which facilitate the division of the box into at least two parts.
  • these divisional means consist of perforations favoring the tearing of the panels forming the box.
  • perforation lines are provided to facilitate folding of the box in several parts which overlap one another so as to reduce the volume of the box.
  • boxes provided with at least one destruction aid means but also with means for maintaining the box in a folded and compressed form are also known from the state of the art.
  • the document US8919635 describes a blank for a compressible collapsible box which comprises destruction aid means in the form of a folding line but also two pre-cuts which are provided to meet and hold the box in its folded and compressed (compressed) form. More particularly, these two pre-cuts respectively form a first flap and a second diametrically opposed flap, that is to say each located in opposite angles of the blank of the box.
  • the flaps When the box is folded and compressed and the two flaps are deployed at the start of the blank thanks to the presence of perforated lines making it possible to separate them in part from the blank, the flaps extend outwards from the box compressed and are intended to fit into each other forming a protuberance extending beyond the folded and compressed accordion box (see figure 10 of the document US8919635 ).
  • the document US2004 / 0217154 also discloses a blank for a compressible collapsible box which comprises destruction aid means in the form of a fold line and means for maintaining the box in its folded and compressed form. More particularly, the blank is provided, at the level of two opposite walls, with a first male member in the form of a protuberance provided with a connection member which can extend from a wall and a second female organ in the form of a recess made in the other opposite wall.
  • a first male member in the form of a protuberance provided with a connection member which can extend from a wall and a second female organ in the form of a recess made in the other opposite wall.
  • the document NL2018273 also discloses a blank for a compressible collapsible box which comprises destruction aid means in the form of a fold line and means for maintaining the box in its folded and compressed form.
  • These holding means are similar to those described in the document US2004 / 0217154 , with the difference that none of the holding means is provided with a connection member.
  • the blanks still include two distinct elements which must cooperate in such a way as to ensure that the boxes are held in their folded and compressed form.
  • One of the aims of the present invention is to provide a compressible collapsible box, in particular a compressible collapsible pizza box, the size / volume of which can be reduced by ensuring that the reduced size / volume obtained can be maintained for a long time without n decompaction of the compressed box takes place. More particularly, one of the aims of the present invention is to provide a blank for a compressible collapsible box, making it possible to form a box whose size / volume can then be reduced and maintained in this reduced form, for example after use of the box. box and before throwing it away.
  • the invention aims to provide a compressible collapsible box blank which, once in its compressed form, can be maintained in this form such that the folded box parts (for example accordion-shaped) only have dots. '' reduced spacings between them and so that this compressed form does not have any protuberances and has only a minimum of edges
  • Another objective pursued by the present invention is to provide a collapsible and compressible box blank which is easy to manufacture, that is to say for which the numbers of precuts and / or plies to be provided are reduced, the size / volume of the box can then be reduced and maintained in this reduced form.
  • Yet another object pursued by the present invention is to provide a collapsible and compressible box blank which makes it possible to easily and quickly obtain the box maintained in its folded and compressed form, while having to operate a minimum of handling.
  • said at least one destruction aid means is arranged through said upper panel and / or said lower panel and / or said rear panel.
  • said retaining means defines a belt surrounding said compressible box over its entire circumference when it is in its compressed form
  • the retaining means s' wraps around the whole / whole of a circumference of the compressed box, like a belt.
  • peripheral and “circumference” have the same meaning according to the present invention.
  • such a holding means defining a belt genuinely encircling the compressible box over its entire periphery when it is in its compressed form makes it possible to at least partially resolve the problems of the state of the art mentioned above.
  • such a holding means defining a belt makes it possible to ensure that the folded, compressed and belted box does not decompact, the reduced size / volume being maintained permanently without any decompaction. cannot take place.
  • the belt of the folded and compressed box ensures that the spacings between the folded box parts (for example in accordion) are very significantly reduced and that there is no decompaction possible since the means of holding in the form of a belt exerts adequate force and pressure over the entire circumference of the folded and compressed box.
  • a compressible collapsible box blank according to the invention is perfectly suitable for being stored taking up the minimum of space but also for being thrown into plastic bags without tearing them since the compressed and belted folded box according to the invention does not presents no protuberances or ridges.
  • the precut is made in one of the panels of the compressible foldable box and does not restrict the use of the latter.
  • the precut is such that it does not weaken the box, which can be used normally, that is to say that it can accommodate the same content as when it does not have a precut.
  • This precut has a first so-called rest position in which it forms an integral part of one of the panels of the box. According to a second position, the precut starting from one of the panels of the box, at least one zone of this precut remaining connected to one of the panels of the box. In the second position, the precut is in the form of a belt so as to constitute a means for holding said compressible foldable box when it is in its compressed form.
  • this belt is designed to roll up around the entire perimeter (of the circumference) of the box in its compressed form so that the box remains permanently compressed without decompaction taking place.
  • the precut therefore defines a means for maintaining said compressible foldable box in its compressed form.
  • connection member present at the level of the holding means is inserted into the recess left by the precut (as soon as it is in its second position) once the box is in its form. compressed and belted. More concretely, once the retaining means is wound around the compressed box and truly surrounds the compressed box over its entire periphery, the connection member can be inserted at least partially in a connection zone constituted by the 'obviously left by the precut (as soon as it is in its second position). This insertion of the connection member into the recess secures the locking of the connection member, which ensures that the holding means (the belt) remains in place and continuously and permanently exerts a force and adequate pressure all around the folded and compressed box.
  • connection member into the recess left by the precut (as soon as it is in its second position) ensures that the holding means (belt) remains in place over the entire periphery of the the folded box compressed and that the force and pressure exerted by this means of maintenance are maintained permanently in order to prevent decompaction.
  • connection member present at the level of the holding means is inserted into a connection means located on the holding means itself.
  • This connection means is located substantially at an end opposite to that comprising said connection member on the holding means.
  • a compressible foldable box blank according to the invention minimizes the number of precuts to be provided during its manufacture. Indeed, one and the same precut plays both the role of male organ and female organ since it is the recess left by the holding means (the belt playing the role of male organ) or the means connection present on the holding means itself which constitute the female member into which the connection member of the holding means is inserted. This is advantageous compared to the known means of maintaining documents. US8919635 , US2004 / 0217154 and NL2018273 which consist of the cooperation of two distinct pre-cuts.
  • connection member is inserted into a connection means located on the holding means itself.
  • said precut defining a means for maintaining said compressible foldable box is present at the level of said lower panel.
  • said precut defining a means for maintaining said compressible foldable box is present at said upper panel.
  • said longitudinal side panels comprise connection means arranged to connect these longitudinal side panels to the rear panel and to the transverse side panel.
  • the connection means are configured to allow the user to fold and unfold the box without the need for additional tools to hold the walls of the panels together. It is not necessary to use quick means such as glue or staples, using the compressible collapsible box blank of the present invention: assembly is quick and easy.
  • said top panel is connected to longitudinal side panels and possibly to a transverse side panel.
  • the top panel of the compressible collapsible box blank is not characterized by the presence or absence of one or more side wall panels.
  • the compressible collapsible box blank of the invention may therefore have a top panel having only a single side panel connected, in particular a transverse side panel.
  • the blank for the collapsible, compressible box of the invention includes a top panel having three connected side panels.
  • the compressible collapsible box blank includes three side panels at the bottom panel and three side panels at the top panel.
  • said at least one destruction aid means further extends through said transverse side panel present at said lower panel.
  • said at least one destruction aid means further extends through said transverse side panel present at said upper panel.
  • a characteristic feature of the blank of the compressible collapsible box of the invention lies in the fact that said at least one destruction aid means passes through the upper and / or rear and / or lower panels and preferably extends substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the blank. In the event that other side panels are connected to the lower panel or to the upper panel, said at least one destruction aid means may also extend through these other side panels.
  • said at least one destruction aid means passes through the upper and / or rear and / or lower panels and preferably extends substantially transversely to the longitudinal axis of the blank.
  • the compressible box according to the invention can comprise several stages.
  • at least one additional intermediate panel located between the upper panel and the lower panel is present and is traversed by said at least means of aid for destruction.
  • said at least one additional intermediate panel has a size (dimensions) identical to those of the upper and lower panels.
  • said at least one destruction aid means is in the form of a slot, a perforation or a fold, in particular in the form of perforations preferably substantially parallel to the 'longitudinal axis of the blank.
  • the destruction aid means is not necessarily rectilinear but that it may for example be in the form of a zigzag.
  • the grooves of a corrugated cardboard used to form the walls of the box can constitute a means of aid in destruction.
  • the precut (that is to say the belt) comprises at its free end or near its free end, a notch as a connection member intended to be engaged in the obvious left by the precut from the moment it is in its second position or in the connection means located on the holding means to ensure the maintenance of the compressible box in its form compressed. It is understood that any other suitable form of a connection member falls under the cover of the present invention.
  • the present invention also relates to a compressible collapsible box formed from a compressible collapsible box blank according to the invention.
  • the present invention relates to collapsible collapsible boxes which can be constructed (formed) from a single piece of collapsible rigid cardboard, in particular collapsible collapsible cardboard boxes, for example on pizza, shoe or other boxes.
  • the present invention is particularly suitable without being limited to pizza boxes or to boxes of similar dimensions, i.e. having an upper and lower panel which are larger in size compared to the side walls.
  • the figure 1 illustrates an unfolded compressible collapsible box blank according to the invention.
  • This blank comprises a lower panel 2, connected to an upper panel 1 via a rear panel 3.
  • the lower panel 2 is connected / connected to longitudinal side panels 4 and to a transverse side panel 10 via of fold lines.
  • the top panel 1, according to the embodiment illustrated in figure 1 is also connected / connected to longitudinal side panels and to a transverse side panel 9 via fold lines.
  • the fold lines allow the user to form a box from the blank of the compressible foldable box according to the invention by folding the different panels along said fold lines.
  • connection means 5 By using the connection means 5, the longitudinal side panels 4 connected / linked to the bottom panel 2 can be easily connected to the transverse side panel 10 and the adjacent rear panel 3 of the bottom panel 2.
  • connection means 5 comprise a stud 7 in circular form arranged to be inserted into the orifices 8, in order to ensure the securing of the rear panel 3 and the transverse side panel 10 with the longitudinal side panels 4.
  • any means of connection allowing the panels to be connected without additional means can be used in the context of the present invention.
  • connection means 5 include a circular tongue 7 (circular stud) which fits into a hole 8 made in the transverse side panels 9, 10 adjacent or in a hole 8 made in the rear panel 3.
  • a circular tongue 7 circular stud
  • the various panels are joined together and held in an upright position, that is to say in a position substantially perpendicular to the upper and lower panels.
  • the lower panel 2 comprises a pre-cut 11 and destruction aid means 6 which extend substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the blank through the upper 2, lower 1 and rear 3 panels but also through the transverse side panels 9, 10 connected respectively to the upper 1 and lower panel 2.
  • the pre-cut 11 defines a means for maintaining the compressible box when it is in its compressed form. According to a first rest position, the precut 11 forms an integral part of the lower panel 2 while, according to a second position, this precut 11 extends from the lower panel 2 so as to form a belt (a tongue) but also to leave a recess 14 in the lower panel 2.
