Claims (5)

  1. A ship (1) provided with an installation (2) for launching and recovering floating or submersible vehicles (E), which comprises a lifting device (3) including a set of cables (35) which retain a basket (4) configured to support said vehicle (E) during said launching and recovering operations, said cables (35) being movable vertically between two extreme positions, respectively high and low, said basket (4) including at least one upper face (430, 403) which bears against at least one surface (341), referred to as a "contact surface", of said lifting device (3), only when said cables (35) are in the high position, characterized by the fact that:
    said lifting device (3) includes a dolly (34) on which is arranged the set of cables (35), this dolly (34) being configured to be moved horizontally ;
    the ship includes a guidance member (5, 5') which connects said basket (4) to a wall (10) of said ship (1), which is configured to block the possible translation movements of the "sway" or "surge" type and rotation movements of the "yaw" type of said basket (4), when this basket (4) is in the flotation position ;
    said guidance member (5, 5') cooperates with a pair of profiles (7) with a guidance path with a generally vertical direction, mounted on said wall (10) of said ship (1), this member (5,5') including elements configured to each be engaged in a profile (7) and to move in the vertical direction along said guidance path during said launching and recovering operations;
    and in that said dolly (34) carries a pair of profiles (80) which are configured to be selectively positioned above and in the extension of said profiles (7) mounted on said wall (10).
  2. The ship according to claim 1, characterized by the fact that said "contact surface" of said lifting device (3) consists of at least one portion of a lower face (341) of said dolly (34).
  3. The ship according to claim 1, characterized by the fact that said "contact surface" of said lifting device consists of the lower face (90) of stabilizing device (9) of said cables (35) which protrude downward from said dolly (34).
  4. The ship according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by the fact that said basket (4) is provided with at least one float (40).
  5. The ship according to claim 4, characterized by the fact that said "contact surface" of said lifting device consists of the lower face (90) of stabilizing device (9) of said cables (35) which protrude downward from said dolly (34) and that said float (40) includes at least one upper face (403) which bears against said lower face (90) of said stabilizing device (9) only when said cables (35) are in the high position.
