Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for controlling a lighting system with a lighting control panel according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Lighting consoles are used to control lighting systems such as those used in theaters and concert halls. These lighting systems regularly include a large number of lighting devices, for example stage spotlights, the lighting devices often also being able to distinguish between a large number of lighting states, for example different colors, on their own. These different lighting states are controlled by programmed parameters in the lighting program of the lighting console. Conventional lighting systems can include up to several thousand lighting devices.
- each lighting device at least one light effect, for example a light beam, can be generated in order to illuminate the stage with these light effects, which are often superimposed.
- the generic method relates to the control of lighting devices that are adjusted with at least one servomotor in order to be able to move to different positions of the lighting device. If, for example, the lighting device is a stage spotlight, the light beam of the spotlight can be freely pivoted over the stage in two axes by moving the corresponding servomotors, in order to follow the main actor, for example.
- a lighting method which is referred to as "move-in black” is known from the prior art. Such a method is disclosed, for example, in instructions from the company Horizon Control Inc., which can be found under the following URL (Uniform Resource Locator) https://web.archive.org/web/20170402121540/http://www.horizoncontrol. com / mqheIp / general heIp / move in black.htm is available on the Internet (last accessed on July 3, 2018).
- the goal is that the corresponding light effect of the lighting device is completely switched off before the start of a new positioning of the lighting device in order to prevent the headlight from moving during the approach to the next predefined positioning Spectators can be perceived.
- the "move-in-black" control concept is based essentially on three steps.
- the lighting device is initially switched off under program control so that the lighting device no longer emits a light effect.
- the servomotor is activated by the lighting control panel under program control in order to be able to use the Servomotors to approach the next predefined positioning of the lighting device.
- the lighting device is switched on again after the predefined positioning has been reached, in order to generate the light effect at the specified time.
- the lighting device can of course also be switched on and off in the manner of a dimming process, in which the luminosity of the lighting device is regulated down or up along a dimming curve.
- the "move-in black” method avoids undesired optical effects caused by the movement of a lighting device with the light source switched on.
- the “move-in-black” method can also lead to undesirable impairments of the stage representation, namely through undesired acoustic disturbances.
- the drive of the servomotors can cause considerable motor noises which acoustically impair the stage show when the ambient noise is correspondingly lower. If, for example, a monologue by an actor is presented in a scene on a theater stage, it is largely quiet in the theater at this time. If, in such a monologue scene, a stage spotlight is moved to pre-position it in the next predefined lighting position, this would be perceived by the audience as a significant acoustic disturbance.
- the object of the present invention is therefore to propose a previously developed "move-in-black" method with which acoustic interference caused by moving the lighting devices can be largely avoided.
- the method according to the invention is based on the basic idea that an acoustic parameter is assigned to each program step of the lighting program that are processed one after the other.
- This acoustic parameter characterizes the noise sensitivity of the respectively assigned program step. If, for example, a monologue scene is played in the theater during a program step of the lighting program, in which there are no background noises, an acoustic parameter with high noise sensitivity can be assigned to this program step.
- the adjustment of the lighting device is carried out by drive with the associated servomotor in the program step of the lighting program between method step a) and method step c), which has the lowest acoustic parameter Has sensitivity to noise and thus represents the preferred program step.
- the servomotors are switched on at the latest at the point in time that leaves enough time to move to the next predefined positioning, even if the comparison result of the Acoustic parameter has not led to a clear result. This ensures compliance with the program-controlled lighting effects in any case and, if necessary, tolerates a small acoustic impairment.
- the lighting devices are switched off or switched on in a program-controlled manner.
- the light scenes are predefined in individual lighting steps that run one after the other under program control.
- the corresponding program steps in the program sequence can be marked in such a way that the adjustment of the lighting device by controlling the assigned servomotor in this program step is independent of the comparison result of the Acoustic parameter is excluded,
