Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a toilet seat set for a toilet and a toilet.
  • Toilets water closets
  • a toilet body often made of ceramic
  • a toilet seat and a lid are usually provided.
  • the toilet seat is used by the user to sit on and can regularly be folded up around an axis that is transverse to the rear of the toilet.
  • a toilet lid that is also usually provided for closing the toilet bowl, which usually also covers the seat.
  • a sleeve with a helical ramp provided therein is responsible for releasing the lid and seat from the toilet body when it is folded up.
  • the ramp moves a spring which releases a locking engagement with a fastening pin on the toilet body.
  • the EP 2 679 127 A1 shows a solution in which folding up also opens a form fit and thus the cover and seat can be removed.
  • the DE 298 16 122 U1 a lid set, in which a lid part and a seat part are each held by an angle-selective form fit on a toilet body, with the mediation of fastening supports each having an eye through which an axis as a separate component passes. Openings in the cover part and in the seat part are also threaded onto this axis.
  • the invention is based on the object of specifying a toilet seat set and a toilet with further improved usage properties.
  • the cover part and seat part removable together and in the connected state, but each separately.
  • This z. B. the cover part can be cleaned as such in the removed state without the seat part interfering, and vice versa.
  • the prior art has concentrated on improving the accessibility of the toilet body by removing the seat and cover together as a unit. This is also achieved by the present invention when the seat part and cover part are removed.
  • seat part and cover part are spoken of in order to emphasize that one aspect of the invention involves elements of a cover set, that is to say a part that belongs together and is mounted on a toilet body as a whole, with a seat and around it to equip a lid. Another part of the top fitting is used for assembly, namely the assembly part. In the assembled state, this should be, so to speak, the immovable part; in other words, the cover part and the seat part are pivoted relative to the mounting part.
  • the mounting part does not necessarily have to be in one piece, but could, for. B. also consist of two elements, which are each assigned to one of the two typical mounting points on the toilet body. Preferably, however, it is a uniform overall assembly part that extends from one of the two assembly points to the other.
  • the assembly part can also be integrated into the toilet body or the toilet body can form the assembly part, so that a distinction between the toilet body and the assembly part does not necessarily make sense got to.
  • the cover part and the seat part are each detachable by releasing a form fit, with the cover part and / or seat part being moved for this purpose and a lock not having to be released at the same time.
  • the fastening could be a snap fastening with simultaneous rotatability and, when a certain minimum force is applied, the respective part could be pulled out of this snap fastening.
  • a form-fit connection that can be released in a specific rotational position (in relation to the rotatable mounting of the parts on the assembly part or WC) and not in other rotational positions.
  • more vertical rotary positions can lead to solvability and more horizontal ones to unsolvability, such as e.g. B. the ensemble of seat and cover in the EP 2 679 127 A1 can only be pulled off upwards in a vertical position. If z. If, for example, the user is sitting on the seat or a person is sitting on the closed lid and horizontal forces are exerted, the form fit cannot then be released. Nevertheless, the user can dismantle a cover and / or seat part simply by moving these parts himself, and a simultaneous activation of an unlocking device can be dispensed with.
  • the cover part can be pivotably connected in this way by a (in particular angle-selective) form fit to the seat part and one of the two in an analogous or similar manner to the mounting part or directly to the toilet body. Then you can remove the cover part from the seat part or vice versa and then the remaining of the two parts from the assembly part or from the toilet body.
  • the rotatable connection between the cover part or the seat part and the mounting part (or toilet body) can be mediated by the respective other (seat part or cover part).
  • the prior art does not even deal with the separability of seat and cover and would be with the EP 2 679 127 A1 at best to think of dismantling the two connecting bearing parts, which hardly seems realistic in the everyday cleaning process.
  • At least one rotary damper is also provided, which serves to dampen one of the rotational mobility; Both rotational movements are preferably damped, with one rotary damper each being sufficient for the seat part and the cover part.
  • the rotary damper (s) are preferably provided in the seat part or cover part itself, including the case that a rotary damper for the cover part (also) is provided in the seat part or vice versa.
  • a rotary damper is provided approximately on both sides in an element of the seat part which is used for the rotatable holder, one of which serves to dampen the seat part and the other serves to dampen the cover part.
  • the at least one rotary damper is part of the form-fitting connections described, thus reducing the number of different parts and thus simplifying construction and assembly.
  • the axes of rotation of the rotational mobility of the cover part on the one hand and the seat part on the other hand are preferably identical, that is to say the two rotational movements are coaxial. This leads to more compact, e.g. B. flatter solutions than with spaced axes of rotation.
  • those elements of the seat part and cover part that are used for the rotatable mounting, and an area of the assembly part that surrounds the coaxial axis of rotation (intended to be continued as a geometric axis), are arranged in an axial sequence, i.e. in series along the axis of rotation.
  • the sequence is not necessarily decisive, but the distinction between a purely radial sequence, i.e. with the same axial position and only radially inside and outside of each other.
  • the sub-assembly area is preferably surrounded on both sides by the elements of the seat part and the cover part, which in turn are provided in pairs, that is to say on the left and right of the assembly part.
  • the elements of the cover part are on the outside and those of the seat part are located between the latter and the mounting part.
  • Another preferred embodiment also provides an easily detachable connection between a mounting part (which is separate from the toilet body) and the toilet body.
  • fastening elements of the mounting part are mounted on the toilet body (quite conventionally, if desired).
  • the rest of the mounting part can then be snapped onto these fasteners, e.g. B. with an engaging in an undercut or a notch elastic locking device, and can also be released again from this attachment by simply pulling it off.
  • a magnetic frictional connection magnet in the fastening element and in the rest of the assembly part
  • the assembly part (with the exception of the fastening elements on the toilet body) can be loosened by pulling it hard, so that the toilet body can be practically completely exposed for cleaning. That improves the Usage properties beyond the measures described above.
  • a further embodiment provides a locking device which locks the cover part and seat part or cover part and mounting part or also seat part and mounting part (preferably the middle or the last case) with one another.
  • This is intended to mean that the rotatable form fit between the two interlocked parts remains rotatable, but can no longer be released. So if the cover part or seat part on the one hand and the mounting part on the other hand are locked together, as long as the lock is not released, they can only be removed together, which can be particularly advantageous in connection with the fastening of the mounting part just described above. It can then be more manageable not only to have to pull off the assembly part, but also to be able to use the part locked with it, which can perhaps be better reached or more easily applied with greater force. It can also be helpful to remove all three parts together under certain circumstances, for example because only the toilet body should be better reached and no separation at all is desired.
  • this form fit can be designed so that if these two parts are simultaneously in the rotational position to be released (with respect to the mounting part), this also means that they lie relative to one another in a rotational position that cannot be released, namely because the angle between them is approximately 0 ° (while it would have to be at least 80 ° for releasing, for example). If, in this situation, the locking device also prevents loosening of the part positively connected to it, all three parts can be removed in one.
  • the assembly part has been viewed as one part, the argumentation also applying to the case of a two-part assembly part. Then these two parts are to be regarded as coupled to one another by their fastening on the toilet body.
  • the locking device can be brought into the locking position or release position by an operating element provided specifically for this purpose, for example by a slide.
  • This operating element can in particular be provided on or in the mounting part, in one embodiment for example on the underside of the mounting element.
  • Another variant provides instead not to provide a separate, manually operated control element, but instead to use the presence or absence of the third part (that is to say, for example, the cover part if the lock concerns the seat part and the assembly part). Accordingly, the locking device is actuated in one direction when the form fit between the third part (cover part) and one of the two parts to be locked (e.g. seat part) is established, and in the other direction when it is released therefrom. For example, when the cover part is removed, there is no interlock between the seat part and the mounting part, and when the cover part is mounted, there is absolutely no locking. Together with the explanations above, it then results that when the seat part and cover part are folded up together, all three parts can be pulled off together.
  • the locking device can have an actuating element on an outer surface which faces the third part in the assembled state of the third part. Accordingly, the actuating element can then be displaced, in particular pushed in, through the third part.
  • an outer surface which is approximately perpendicular to the axis of rotation and which faces an element serving to hold the third part in a rotatable manner in its assembled state and is correspondingly adjacent to it comes into consideration. This is also shown more clearly in the exemplary embodiment.
  • the invention also relates to a complete toilet and not just a lid set. This, of course, applies first of all to a toilet consisting of a lid set and a toilet body, which preferably only consists of it.
  • the invention also relates to toilets without a mounting part separated from the toilet body, in which an area of the toilet body is then to be understood in the sense of the mounting part according to the above explanations and, of course, statements about the removability of the mounting part from the toilet body are omitted.
  • Fig. 1 shows a sequence of perspective views a to h to illustrate the mode of operation of a first exemplary embodiment.
  • no locking device is provided.
  • a folded-up cover part 1.1 and a seat part 2.1 of the cover set that is still folded down are shown, the rounded arrow symbolizing the upward movement of the cover part 1.1.
  • the arrow shows that the cover part 1.1 can be pulled upwards from an angle-selective positive connection and the seat part 2.1 remains.
  • FIG. 1c the seat part 2.1 has also been folded up and can be turned into Fig. 1d can be withdrawn upwards.
  • a mounting part 3.1 on the toilet body which is also in the Figures 1a to 1c is shown and is located in the middle with respect to the area of the flat top which surrounds the axis of rotation.
  • the figures also show that the rotatable mounting elements of the seat part 2.1 frame this assembly part 3.1 on the right and left and that these elements are in turn framed further outside on the right and left by the corresponding elements of the cover part 1.1.
  • the assembly part 3.1 can also be pulled upwards, overcoming the force threshold of a latching connection between fastening elements 4.1 on the ceramic and the rest of the assembly part 3.1.
  • the fastening elements 4.1 are essentially vertical pins.
  • all three parts, cover part 1.1, seat part 2.1 and assembly part 3.1 (apart from the fastening elements 4.1) can be dismantled, initially all individually and furthermore the seat part and cover part 1.1 also together.
  • the assembly part 3.1 must be grasped independently and pulled off upwards.
  • the seat part and mounting part 3.2 are locked together, as Fig. 2d indicates.
  • seat part 2.2 and assembly part 3.2 can then be released from one another, namely after unlocking the locking device in between, which will be discussed in greater detail below.
  • this can be done by actuating a slide on the underside of the mounting part 3.2 if a separation of the seat part 2.2 from the mounting part 3.2 is desired at all.
  • the seat part 3.2 is not operated the locking device removable from the toilet body, according to Fig. 2d also separately from the cover part 1.2.
  • the locking between the cover part 1.3 and the seat part 2.3 takes place depending on the relative angular position between them. Accordingly, according to the Figures 3a and b the cover part 1.3 can be folded up and then pulled off vertically upwards as in Figure 1b . The same then applies to the seat part 2.3 according to Figures 3c and d , see also Figure 1c and d.
  • the assembly part 3.3 is again according to this Figure 3e and analog Figure 1e can be pulled out of the toilet body individually upwards from the snap connection with the fastening elements 4.3.

  • Nuts with washers are screwed on from below, but not shown.
  • the fastening elements 4 each contain a hexagonal engagement at their upper end. Approximately in the middle of their vertical extension they show a mushroom-like widening, with a soft washer adapted in shape to this widening for pressure distribution being placed between this and the toilet body and also shown.
  • the fastening elements 4 are provided approximately at the vertical height of the bottom of the hexagonal engagement with a circumferential respective groove 5 into which a fine detent spring, not shown in the figure, engages from the outside and is held in a mounting part 3.2 placed on the upper sides of the fastening elements 4 .
  • the flanks of the grooves 5 are slightly inclined so that the mounting part 3.2 can be lifted upwards from the fastening elements 4 with a certain amount of force in the vertical direction, the engagement of the springs in the grooves 5 being released with a snap or snapping when it is replaced is restored.

This allows the slide in the removed State of the assembly part 3.2 can be moved further to the left from the position shown.
  • the locking device specifically in the form of a slide, can be blocked in the locking position by fastening the mounting part 3.2 on the toilet body and can only be actuated in the dismantled situation of the mounting part 3.2.
  • a right-facing receiving area of the slide 6 engages in an opening of a part of the seat part 2.2 containing the axis of rotation and holds one end of a rotary damper 7 there in a form-fitting manner.
  • a cap is put on, which forms a pin 8.
  • This last-mentioned engagement is rotatable, the receptacle 9 and the pin 8 thus form a pivot bearing for the cover part 1.2.
  • the cap forming the pin 8 is not only positively connected to the right-hand end of the rotary damper 7, but also clamped in the corresponding part of the seat part 2.2 in such a way that torque is transmitted.
  • the rotary damper 7 thus forms a rotary damping between the seat part 2.2 and the mounting part 3.2.
  • a rotary damper 10 is provided there, which is made somewhat longer is than the rotary damper 7, and which is held in a press clamp in a cap that forms a further pin 11 to the left and can transmit torques.
  • This cap with the pin 11 at its left end is rotatably held in the seat part 2.2; but the pin 11 is positively seated in an associated receptacle 12 of the cover part 1.2, so that the rotary damper 10 relates to relative rotations of the cover part 1.2 with respect to the assembly part 3.2.
  • the rotary damper 10 is also held in a form-fitting manner with respect to rotations in the assembly part 3.2 at its right-facing, ie inner end.
  • the assembly part 3.2 can be snapped upwards and removed from the fastening elements 4, which in turn are fastened to the toilet body by a conventional screw connection.
  • the seat part 2.2 and the cover part 1.2 are rotatably connected to the mounting part 3.2, a rotary damper 7 on the right in the figure damping the rotary movement of the seat part 2.2 and a left damper 10 damping the rotary movement of the cover part 1.2.
  • a rotary damper 7 on the right in the figure damping the rotary movement of the seat part 2.2
  • a left damper 10 damping the rotary movement of the cover part 1.2.

  • the cover part 1.2 can be mounted before or after the dismantling described, in which case a relative position of approximately 90 ° between the cover part 1.2 and the seat part 2.2 corresponds to its mountability Fig. 5 is necessary. • the locking element 23 is acted upon by a compression-loaded helical spring 24, that is, to the right (or outside). It can also be seen that the upper right shoulder of the locking element 23 is pressed to the left by an approach slightly radially outside of the receptacle 22 of the cover part 1.3, which is why a lower left shoulder of the locking element 23 (i.e. pointing inward) is part of the axial direction Mounting part 3.3, which forms the receptacle for the rotary damper 20, overlaps. Accordingly, the seat part 2.3 (with the cover part 1.3) cannot be pulled off upwards.
  • the cover part 1.3 would be according to FIGS Figures 3a and b folded up and pulled off, the helical spring 24 would hold the locking element 23 up to its stop (against the part of the seat part 2.3 that holds the sleeve and the pin 21 clamped) to the outside, so that the described overlap of the left lower shoulder of the locking element 23 would be absent. Then the seat part 2.3 would be unlocked and could be deducted upwards.
  • the described U-shape of the receptacle in the assembly part 3.3 is responsible for the fact that this pulling off can only take place upwards, whereas what Fig. 7 does not show that the seat part 2.3 in turn has a complementary U-shape encompassing the receptacle in the mounting part 3.3, because of which the seat part 2.3 can only be pulled upwards in an approximately vertical position.
  • a lock is provided as in the second embodiment, which is not actuated by manual actuation of a slider or other operating element (only when the cover is removed), but rather automatically by placing and removing the cover part 1.3.
  • the top fitting can only be pulled off the fastening elements 4.3 upwards as a whole and together with the assembly part 3.3.
  • the fastening elements otherwise correspond to the second exemplary embodiment and are not shown further here; Fig. 7 shows on the far left the corresponding recording in assembly part 3.3.
  • Fig. 8 shows the situation according to Fig. 7 with removed cover part 1.3 and in contrast to Fig. 7 in plan view, but again in section along the axis of rotation and with respect to the right rear end of the flat top clothing. Furthermore, the seat part is 2.3 in Fig. 8 horizontally, i.e. extends from the bearing shown in Fig. 8 downward. In this situation, the cover part 1.3 could be folded up into the vertical and according to Figure 3b subtracted from. Accordingly, this is in Fig. 7 from the cover part 1.3 to the left in acted upon shoulder piece of the locking element 23 moved somewhat outward, which in Fig. 8 can be seen at the lower right end of the locking element 23. The coil spring 24 has relaxed somewhat and the in Fig. 7 bottom left and in Fig. 8 The area recognizable at the top left now no longer shows any overlap between the receptacle of the assembly part 3.3 for the rotary damper 20 and the locking element 23.
