Definitions

  • the invention relates to a flush toilet according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
  • Flush toilets have been known for some time, with each toilet being equipped with a flush.
  • the flushing of a flush toilet has two main functions. On the one hand, the flushing should serve to flush the entire inner surface of the toilet bowl in a cleaning manner and, on the other hand, solids and dirty water should be removed from the siphon by the flushing or by means of the flushing.
  • the characteristics of a functionally successful flush toilet are to clean maximum interior surface area of the toilet bowl and to remove solids and water from the siphon with maximum flushing power, both cleaning the toilet bowl surface and flushing the siphon being splash-free.
  • design features such as a hygienic surface, an easy-to-clean design without dead corners and a quiet flush are desirable. These properties are often antagonistic and compromises must be made to achieve a required balance of functionality, performance, design and manufacturability.
  • the size, shape and design of a toilet bowl has a significant influence here, since with a large inner surface of the toilet bowl to be cleaned, the inflowing water jet is usefully deflected and in the Drum must be distributed so that the entire drum surface is covered, or is applied with rinsing water.
  • a water distributor is often used for this purpose, which is arranged between the water inlet and the toilet bowl and divides the water into several partial flows in order to clean the toilet bowl.
  • a water distributor is located in the center of the back wall of the toilet and is structurally formed as part of the rim, although it may also have physical dimensions that extend locally downward and/or out of the rim into the toilet.
  • the flushing water is routed around both concave inner sides of the toilet bowl, with some water being routed directly down into the siphon, depending on the water distributor.
  • Such water distributors are also found in modern "rimless” toilets, these water distributors being located in the middle of the upper back wall of the bowl. Since these "rimless” toilets do not have a rim, the water distributors used in "rimless” toilets are usually arranged in such a way that these water distributors protrude into the toilet bowl, so that the emerging water jets are directed onto the bowl or the bowl surface itself be able. The water exits the distributor through a series of drain holes or slots provided in, for example, a drum.
  • Recent flushing methods employ a swirling water flow pattern in which the inlet water is introduced tangentially along the toilet bowl surface and spirals in the toilet bowl. This differs from the traditional method in which water flows left and right around the inner surface of the toilet bowl to meet at the center front on the user side. Gravity also causes the flush water to lose its momentum as it circulates in the toilet bowl and descends in height, making it difficult to achieve full circulation of the flush water in the toilet bowl, so that the flush water goes to the starting point , ie the water distributor, and spills over the water distributor and/or its surroundings to flush these areas of the toilet. The contamination problem of the water distributor and the problem of cleaning the distributor is therefore not solved with these previously known so-called vortex flushers.
  • a further problem is that, particularly in the case of “rimless” toilets, a relatively large drain hole has to be provided in the surface of the toilet bowl for dispensing flushing water. Since this outlet hole is in the rear part of the toilet bowl, it is located exactly in the field of vision of a user of the toilet, which on the one hand is aesthetically very unattractive, since unavoidable dirt usually collects at this outlet hole and on the other hand often leads to the water, which usually runs out under pressure, also because of the dirt, splashes.
  • Another method of flushing a toilet bowl is to use multiple individual water dispensers placed around a top rim of a toilet.
  • Various distributor models are known in this regard, but all of them have a complex geometry and are therefore complicated to manufacture, which is very disadvantageous.
  • at least one of the distributors must be arranged in the front part of the basin, so that the flushing water is flushed backwards.
  • the incoming water which is fed from the back of the toilet, must make a 180° turn to change direction so that the direction of flow of the flushing water is backwards.
  • a sharp bend near the water outlet at the front of the toilet bowl significantly reduces the water pressure, thereby reducing the flushing power available.
  • flushing systems are, for example, in EP 2 604 761 A1 , EP 3 054 061 A1 , EP 1 847 656 B1 , WO 2017/006903 A1 , WO 2016/143 029 A1 , WO 2015/143 391 A1 , EP 3 119 946 A1 , EP 2 233 651 B1 , EP 2 203 608 B1 and the WO 2014/123 494 A1 described.
  • a flush toilet according to the preamble of claim 1 is in EP 1234921 A1 disclosed.
  • the object of the invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems and to provide a flushing toilet that enables an optimized and hygienic flushing of an inner surface of a toilet bowl and of the siphon.
  • a flush toilet with a toilet body comprising a toilet bowl and a flushing water outlet, through which flushing water can flow into the toilet body, the flushing water outlet with respect to an imaginary center line, which extends essentially centrally from a front end facing the user during flushing operation of the toilet body to an opposite, substantially central, rear end of the toilet body is arranged asymmetrically.
  • An essential point of the invention is that the flushing water outlet is arranged asymmetrically on the toilet body, so that it is possible to flush water through the flushing water outlet with respect to an imaginary center line, which extends essentially centrally from a front end of the toilet body that faces a user during flushing operation to an opposite end extends rear end of the toilet body to deliver asymmetrically.
  • an important point of the invention is that the asymmetrical arrangement of the flushing water outlet makes it possible to flush the inner surface of the toilet bowl in such a way that part of the flushing water is not, as before, directly from the flushing water outlet in the direction of the siphon, but first via a side wall on the inside of the toilet bowl, so that a circular flow is created which wets the inner surface of the toilet bowl better than with a central attachment of the flushing water outlet on the back of the toilet bowl inside with flushing water and thus cleans it.
  • the asymmetrical arrangement of the flushing water outlet prevents the flushing water outlet from becoming dirty during use of the toilet according to the invention in an extremely advantageous and at the same time extremely simple manner, since the flushing water outlet is no longer arranged directly behind a user in the toilet bowl.
  • the flushing water outlet is arranged according to the invention in a rear lateral area, in particular in a rear lateral corner area, of the toilet bowl, with the flushing water not being discharged downwards but in a substantially horizontal direction tangentially into the toilet bowl. Due to the tangential discharge of the flushing water, the flushing water gyrates in the form of a circular flow in the toilet bowl and flushes a significant part of the inner surface of the toilet bowl before the flushing water then flushes the siphon and thus cleans it.
  • a lateral rear area of the toilet bowl is defined as the rear lateral corner area of the toilet bowl, which, depending on the shape of the toilet body, actually represents a corner, possibly a rounded corner of the toilet bowl or a rear area of the toilet bowl that is in the toilet bowl Height of the first flushing water outlet opening has a distance from the imaginary center line that is in the range of 70% to 100%, preferably 75% to 100%, and particularly preferably 80% to 100% of a maximum distance of a rear lateral inner surface of the toilet bowl from the imaginary center line located.
  • the maximum distance of a rear lateral inner surface of the toilet bowl from the imaginary center line of the toilet bowl can be different on both sides of the center line.
  • the flush water outlet does not count as the lateral inner surface of the toilet bowl for the purposes of this definition.
  • the rear side wall is the area of the toilet bowl in which a tangent applied to the inner wall of the toilet bowl at the level of the lower boundary of the second flushing water outlet opening encloses an angle of between 90° and 45° with the imaginary center line .
  • the area of a front side wall of the toilet bowl is to be understood analogously within the scope of the invention.
  • the area of a lateral side wall of the toilet bowl is to be understood as the area of the toilet bowl in which a tangent applied to the inner wall of the toilet bowl at the level of the lower boundary of the second flushing water outlet opening encloses an angle between less than 45° and 0° with the imaginary center line, with a Angle of 0° between the tangent with the imaginary center line denotes a parallel course of the tangent and the imaginary center line. In this consideration, only the angles between the applied tangent and the imaginary center line that lie in a range between 0° and 90° are considered within the scope of this invention.

Description

The invention relates to a flush toilet according to the preamble of patent claim 1.

Flush toilets have been known for some time, with each toilet being equipped with a flush. The flushing of a flush toilet has two main functions. On the one hand, the flushing should serve to flush the entire inner surface of the toilet bowl in a cleaning manner and, on the other hand, solids and dirty water should be removed from the siphon by the flushing or by means of the flushing.

The characteristics of a functionally successful flush toilet are to clean maximum interior surface area of the toilet bowl and to remove solids and water from the siphon with maximum flushing power, both cleaning the toilet bowl surface and flushing the siphon being splash-free. At the same time, however, design features such as a hygienic surface, an easy-to-clean design without dead corners and a quiet flush are desirable. These properties are often antagonistic and compromises must be made to achieve a required balance of functionality, performance, design and manufacturability.

The size, shape and design of a toilet bowl has a significant influence here, since with a large inner surface of the toilet bowl to be cleaned, the inflowing water jet is usefully deflected and in the Drum must be distributed so that the entire drum surface is covered, or is applied with rinsing water.

A water distributor is often used for this purpose, which is arranged between the water inlet and the toilet bowl and divides the water into several partial flows in order to clean the toilet bowl. In conventional rimmed toilets, such a water distributor is located in the center of the back wall of the toilet and is structurally formed as part of the rim, although it may also have physical dimensions that extend locally downward and/or out of the rim into the toilet. When using such a water distributor, the flushing water is routed around both concave inner sides of the toilet bowl, with some water being routed directly down into the siphon, depending on the water distributor.

Such water distributors are also found in modern "rimless" toilets, these water distributors being located in the middle of the upper back wall of the bowl. Since these "rimless" toilets do not have a rim, the water distributors used in "rimless" toilets are usually arranged in such a way that these water distributors protrude into the toilet bowl, so that the emerging water jets are directed onto the bowl or the bowl surface itself be able. The water exits the distributor through a series of drain holes or slots provided in, for example, a drum.

Due to the clearer design of the "rimless" toilet, components such as a water distributor in such a "rimless" toilet usually look like a foreign body protruding into the toilet bowl, which severely disturbs the desired aesthetics of clear lines, especially in the toilet bowl .

Another problem from a hygienic point of view is that the water distributor itself and in particular the surfaces of the toilet bowl in the immediate vicinity on the side and/or under the distributor are hardly cleaned by the streams of flushing water discharged from the water distributor. This is all the more problematic as this central rear position of the toilet bowl is very susceptible to soiling during use of the toilet, as it is directly behind the user when the toilet is in use. Thus, conventional water distributors of this type have a very large area that is susceptible to dirt is, due to the construction and arrangement, but remains uncleaned during rinsing. This is unsanitary, unsightly and undesirable.

Recent flushing methods employ a swirling water flow pattern in which the inlet water is introduced tangentially along the toilet bowl surface and spirals in the toilet bowl.

A further problem is that, particularly in the case of “rimless” toilets, a relatively large drain hole has to be provided in the surface of the toilet bowl for dispensing flushing water.

Another method of flushing a toilet bowl is to use multiple individual water dispensers placed around a top rim of a toilet. Various distributor models are known in this regard, but all of them have a complex geometry and are therefore complicated to manufacture, which is very disadvantageous. As a rule, in the case of such toilets with several individual water distributors, at least one of the distributors must be arranged in the front part of the basin, so that the flushing water is flushed backwards. To do this, the incoming water, which is fed from the back of the toilet, must make a 180° turn to change direction so that the direction of flow of the flushing water is backwards. Such however, a sharp bend near the water outlet at the front of the toilet bowl significantly reduces the water pressure, thereby reducing the flushing power available.

Another problem with previous flushing systems is that water entering the siphon is difficult to control. This applies in particular if more than one water outlet hole and/or an additional nozzle hole is used in the siphon.

Examples of such flushing systems are, for example, in EP 2 604 761 A1 , EP 3 054 061 A1 , EP 1 847 656 B1 , WO 2017/006903 A1 , WO 2016/143 029 A1 , WO 2015/143 391 A1 , EP 3 119 946 A1 , EP 2 233 651 B1 , EP 2 203 608 B1 and the WO 2014/123 494 A1 described. A flush toilet according to the preamble of claim 1 is in EP 1234921 A1 disclosed.

The object of the invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems and to provide a flushing toilet that enables an optimized and hygienic flushing of an inner surface of a toilet bowl and of the siphon.

This object is achieved by a flush toilet according to patent claim 1. In particular, the object is achieved by a flushing toilet with a toilet body comprising a toilet bowl and a flushing water outlet, through which flushing water can flow into the toilet body, the flushing water outlet with respect to an imaginary center line, which extends essentially centrally from a front end facing the user during flushing operation of the toilet body to an opposite, substantially central, rear end of the toilet body is arranged asymmetrically.

An essential point of the invention is that the flushing water outlet is arranged asymmetrically on the toilet body, so that it is possible to flush water through the flushing water outlet with respect to an imaginary center line, which extends essentially centrally from a front end of the toilet body that faces a user during flushing operation to an opposite end extends rear end of the toilet body to deliver asymmetrically. An important point of the invention is that the asymmetrical arrangement of the flushing water outlet makes it possible to flush the inner surface of the toilet bowl in such a way that part of the flushing water is not, as before, directly from the flushing water outlet in the direction of the siphon, but first via a side wall on the inside of the toilet bowl, so that a circular flow is created which wets the inner surface of the toilet bowl better than with a central attachment of the flushing water outlet on the back of the toilet bowl inside with flushing water and thus cleans it.

In addition, the asymmetrical arrangement of the flushing water outlet prevents the flushing water outlet from becoming dirty during use of the toilet according to the invention in an extremely advantageous and at the same time extremely simple manner, since the flushing water outlet is no longer arranged directly behind a user in the toilet bowl.

For this purpose, the flushing water outlet is arranged according to the invention in a rear lateral area, in particular in a rear lateral corner area, of the toilet bowl, with the flushing water not being discharged downwards but in a substantially horizontal direction tangentially into the toilet bowl. Due to the tangential discharge of the flushing water, the flushing water gyrates in the form of a circular flow in the toilet bowl and flushes a significant part of the inner surface of the toilet bowl before the flushing water then flushes the siphon and thus cleans it.

In the context of this invention, a lateral rear area of the toilet bowl is defined as the rear lateral corner area of the toilet bowl, which, depending on the shape of the toilet body, actually represents a corner, possibly a rounded corner of the toilet bowl or a rear area of the toilet bowl that is in the toilet bowl Height of the first flushing water outlet opening has a distance from the imaginary center line that is in the range of 70% to 100%, preferably 75% to 100%, and particularly preferably 80% to 100% of a maximum distance of a rear lateral inner surface of the toilet bowl from the imaginary center line located. Depending on the shape and design of the toilet bowl, the maximum distance of a rear lateral inner surface of the toilet bowl from the imaginary center line of the toilet bowl can be different on both sides of the center line. In this context, it should be noted that the flush water outlet does not count as the lateral inner surface of the toilet bowl for the purposes of this definition.

At this point it should be noted that the rear side wall is the area of the toilet bowl in which a tangent applied to the inner wall of the toilet bowl at the level of the lower boundary of the second flushing water outlet opening encloses an angle of between 90° and 45° with the imaginary center line . The area of a front side wall of the toilet bowl is to be understood analogously within the scope of the invention. The area of a lateral side wall of the toilet bowl is to be understood as the area of the toilet bowl in which a tangent applied to the inner wall of the toilet bowl at the level of the lower boundary of the second flushing water outlet opening encloses an angle between less than 45° and 0° with the imaginary center line, with a Angle of 0° between the tangent with the imaginary center line denotes a parallel course of the tangent and the imaginary center line. In this consideration, only the angles between the applied tangent and the imaginary center line that lie in a range between 0° and 90° are considered within the scope of this invention. The inner periphery of the toilet bowl is to be understood as a line at the level of the lower limit of the second flushing water outlet opening along the inner wall of the toilet bowl, which line extends around the inner wall of the toilet bowl.

According to the invention, the flushing water outlet comprises at least one first flushing water outlet opening through which flushing water can be discharged in a first initial flushing direction, and at least one second flushing water outlet opening through which flushing water can be discharged in a second initial flushing direction. In this way, it is possible to flush the toilet bowl in the opposite direction, with flushing water that is discharged through the first flushing water outlet opening being initially directed along a lateral inner side wall of the toilet bowl, and flushing water that is discharged through the second flushing water outlet opening being initially guided along one rear inner side wall of the toilet bowl flows. The flushing water, which is conducted along the inner side wall of the toilet bowl, preferably flows from a rear lateral section of the toilet bowl, particularly preferably from a "corner area" of the toilet bowl, first along the lateral wall of the toilet bowl into a front area of the toilet bowl and then then again in the direction of the rear wall of the toilet bowl, where the water discharged from the first flushing water outlet then meets the flushing water discharged from the second flushing water outlet and flows in the direction of the siphon. That from the second The water discharged from the flushing water outlet opening is initially not directed towards the lateral inner wall of the toilet bowl, but in the direction of the inner rear wall of the toilet bowl, so that the water discharged from the second flushing water outlet opening is in line with the water discharged from the first flushing water outlet opening and, due to the curved shape of the inside of the toilet bowl, backwards diverted flushing water flows against.

According to the invention, a free cross section of the first flushing water outlet opening is larger than a free cross section of the second flushing water outlet opening, so that a first flushing water quantity that is discharged from the first flushing water outlet opening is larger than a second flushing water quantity that is discharged from the second flushing water outlet opening. This is particularly advantageous according to the invention, since the first amount of flushing water is intended to wash over a significantly larger surface area of the inner surface of the toilet bowl, while the second amount of flushing water only cleans the rear wall of the toilet bowl.

The water is discharged from the first flushing water outlet opening and/or the second flushing water outlet opening with an initial flushing direction, with the first and/or the second initial flushing direction extending in a substantially horizontal direction ±0° to 5° with respect to a horizontal and the flushing water thus extending substantially horizontally is delivered. If desired, the initial initial flushing direction can be directed slightly upwards in order to counteract a gravitational effect, by which the flushing water is forced to be guided downwards in the direction of the siphon, and in this way to achieve that the first flushing water flow reaches the rear part of the toilet bowl as much as possible reached a high position.

According to an alternative embodiment of the invention, the initial initial flushing direction can also point slightly downwards, which can be particularly desirable in the case of “rimless” toilet bowls in order to reliably avoid overspraying of the “rim”.

According to the invention, the first and second initial flushing directions are oriented at an angle in the range from 20° to 170°, preferably at an angle in the range from 45° to 140°, and particularly preferably at an angle in the range from 70° to 130°.

In this way, depending on the shape of the toilet, it can be optimally adjusted so that the first flushing water stream is initially discharged tangentially along a lateral inner side wall of the toilet bowl, and that the flushing water that is discharged through the second flushing water outlet opening is initially and also tangentially along a rear inner side wall of the toilet bowl flows.

According to a further embodiment of the invention, inside, i.e. on the inner surface, of the toilet bowl, one or more shoulders and/or a bar or bars can be provided which act as a water guiding device, with the water from the first flushing water outlet opening and/or from the flushing water emerging from the second flushing water outlet opening is guided along a shoulder arranged inside the toilet bowl and/or along a ledge arranged inside the toilet bowl.

In this way, the water emerging from the respective flushing water outlet openings, in particular initially, can be released into the toilet bowl at a specific, predefined level and kept at this level, which is predetermined by the water guiding device. The water guiding device(s) provided according to the invention, i.e. in particular the shoulder and/or the strip, taper from an end close to the respective flushing water outlet opening to an end remote from the respective flushing water outlet opening, in particular down to zero. In this case, the taper can be designed in such a way that the step or the strip only becomes narrower, so that the line surface for the flushing water on the step or the strip becomes smaller as the distance from the respective flushing water outlet opening increases. In addition, the taper can initially have a possibly sharp edge directed towards the inside of the toilet bowl, which is possibly increasingly rounded at its inner end facing the inside of the toilet bowl with increasing distance from the respective flushing water outlet opening. Furthermore, the shoulder provided in the toilet bowl or the ledge provided in the toilet bowl can also have openings, the openings allowing a partial drainage of the flushing water guided on the ledge and/or the ledge.

Furthermore, it should be pointed out in this context that at least one water guiding device, for example in the form of a step, which is designed according to the invention on the inner surface of the toilet bowl can also be formed and defined in that the inner surface of the toilet bowl has a substantially horizontal or, if desired, also, in particular slightly, inclined bulge, which forms the "step", the bulge having a continuously smooth course, when viewed vertically , has two turning points in which an inner contour of the toilet bowl first changes from a concave to a convex shape and then back to a concave shape.

According to a further embodiment of the invention, the "step" can also be formed in that an inner contour of the toilet bowl that is initially concave when viewed in the vertical direction from top to bottom in an upright flush toilet merges into a convex inner contour of the bowl, which, depending according to the embodiment up to the siphon of the flushing toilet continues to run convexly or conically in a straight line.

According to the invention, the water guiding device extends over the inner surface of the toilet bowl at different distances in relation to the respective first flushing water outlet opening and the second flushing water outlet opening, with the water guiding device assigned to the first flushing water outlet opening preferably extending from the first flushing water outlet opening over at least one tenth to halfway or almost completely along the inner periphery of the toilet bowl towards the rear inner side wall of the toilet bowl and wherein the water guiding device associated with the second flush water outlet opening preferably extends from the second flush water outlet opening over substantially one eighth to half the length of the rear inner side wall of the toilet bowl.

According to one embodiment of the invention, it is possible for the respective water guiding device to only be directly connected to the respective flushing water outlet openings and, in the case of the first flushing water outlet opening, already at a distance of between 5 cm and 25 cm, preferably between 8 cm and 20 cm cm and particularly preferably in a range from 8 cm to 15 cm and in the case of the second flushing water outlet opening already at a distance in a range from 1 cm to 15 cm, preferably in a range from 3 cm to 12 cm and particularly preferably in a range of 3 cm to 10 cm ends.

According to an alternative embodiment of the invention, it is also possible that the respective water guiding device does not directly adjoin a respectively assigned flushing water outlet opening, but rather the flushing water initially flows "freely" to a certain extent, starting from the respective flushing water outlet opening, before it is separated from the at a certain, predetermined distance from "captured" by the flushing water outlet opening and guided into and around the sanitary bowl at a certain level. According to the invention, such a predetermined distance can be in a range from 0.1 cm to 15 cm, preferably in a range from 1 cm to 10 cm and particularly preferably in a range from 1.5 cm to 5 cm. lie. Such an embodiment enables a bifurcal tangential flushing of the toilet bowl in an inventive way, with the distance between the water guiding device and the flushing water outlet opening being used to define how much flushing water is to be routed via the water guiding device and how much flushing water is to be routed directly to areas of the toilet bowl located below the water guiding device and in what type of area Angle the division of the respective flushing water streams should take place. The latter can also be set via an end of the water guiding device that faces the respective flushing water outlet opening.

According to the invention, the free cross section of the first flushing water opening is in a range from 4 mm to 35 mm, preferably in a range from 10 mm to 32 mm, and particularly preferably in a range from 15 mm to 30 mm and the free cross section of the second flushing water opening in one Range from 4 mm to 35 mm, preferably in a range from 4 mm to 15 mm, and particularly preferably in a range from 4 mm to 12 mm, with the choice of the size of the opening, or the free cross section of the rinsing water outlet openings, the amount of the flushing water discharged from these flushing water outlet openings can be adjusted. The rinsing water outlet openings can have a round or oval cross section, but can also have a square cross section if desired, with a highly oval cross section being particularly preferred for the square rinsing water outlet opening.

Furthermore, the first and/or the second rinsing water outlet opening can either consist of a single outlet opening or else be divided, for example by a grid, into a plurality of individual outlet openings that are separate from one another but are arranged adjacent to one another. on In this way it is possible according to the invention to fan out the exiting flushing water in a jet-like manner and in this way to wet the surface area of the inner surface of the toilet bowl acted upon by the flushing water in a defined and selectively adjustable manner.

According to the invention, the flushing water outlet is designed as a flushing water distributor which is integrated into the toilet body.

This embodiment makes it possible to form the flush water distributor in one piece with the toilet body and to integrate it perfectly into the toilet body, which is particularly preferred from a design point of view. According to the invention, the flush water distributor is integrated into the toilet body in the form of a prefabricated component.

According to the invention, the prefabricated component is made of a ceramic material, introduced in the green state into the ceramic material intended for the manufacture of the flush toilet and positioned precisely therein and then fired together with the ceramic material intended for the manufacture of the flush toilet and optionally finished.

A significant advantage of such a flushing water distributor or such a water supply device, which is in the form of a prefabricated component or is used, is that this prefabricated component can be manufactured in a separate manufacturing process with very high precision and an extremely precise flushing water division and/or or allows flushing water flow.

The flushing toilet according to the invention thus enables an optimized flushing of the sanitary bowl and an optimal removal of any residues from the toilet bowl, since flushing water can be applied to it in a targeted manner, which flows from the flushing water distributor into the sanitary bowl according to an exactly predefined flow pattern, without causing disturbances and/or unwanted Turbulence in the flushing water flow occurs.

According to the invention, the flushing water distributor can be formed from a first hollow element and a second hollow element connected to the first hollow element, the first and the second hollow element jointly forming a fluid channel which opens into two fluid outlet openings pointing in different directions, which each form the first flushing water outlet opening and the second flushing water outlet opening, and wherein the flushing water distributor also has a fluid inlet opening communicating with the fluid channel, which is a flushing water inlet opening.

The design of the flushing water distributor as a prefabricated component, which is composed of hollow elements that are either subsequently joined together or produced directly in one piece to produce the prefabricated component, offers the decisive inventive advantage that these hollow elements can be produced easily and with very high dimensional accuracy and are also extremely flexible can be combined with each other, so that a fluid channel or several fluid channels can be formed, which are either very simple and largely rectilinear, or very complex and provided with bends and curves, are designed. In this way, even complicated flushing water supply devices can be produced in a simple manner and yet very precisely, which are then built into and integrated into the flushing toilet according to the invention. It should be pointed out that the flushing water distributor used according to the invention can also have more than two flushing water outlet openings.

Another non-negligible advantage of the use according to the invention of a flush water distributor designed as a prefabricated component is that such a flush water distributor can be arranged very close to the wall of the inner surface of the toilet bowl in the toilet body, so that the flushing liquid emerging from the flushing water outlet openings can be flushed optimally and with almost laminar flow can be directed tangentially to the inside of the toilet bowl, which contributes to a further inventively improved flushing of the flushing toilet according to the invention.

According to the invention, the flushing water distributor has a width in the range from 30 mm to 70 mm, preferably in the range from 30 mm to 50 mm and particularly preferably in the range from 35 mm to 40 mm, and a depth in the range from 30 mm to 50 mm, preferably in the range from 30 mm to 40 mm and more preferably in the range from 35 mm to 40 mm, the first and the second flushing water outlet opening being 30 mm to 80 mm, preferably 40 mm to 70 mm and more preferably 55 to 65 mm, based on their nearest one another facing edges, are spaced from each other.

As already mentioned above, the flushing system according to the invention is particularly well suited for a "rimless" flushing toilet.

In summary, the essence of the invention can be stated as follows:
The water distributor according to the invention has a compact design and directs the flushing water in two opposite directions. The main flush water is directed forward from a large spout and a small jet of flush water is directed backward to clean the surface of the inside of the toilet bowl in this most neglected region. The main stream flows in the opposite direction of flow against the smaller stream, and the effect of the coincidence of the individual flushing water flows is that the combined flushing water flow is guided or directed into the siphon, with a certain direction being able to be controlled by geometric factors of the water distributor itself.

The toilet is connected to a water source, such as a water tank, via a water inlet. For this purpose, the water inlet, which is usually arranged centrally with respect to the toilet body, is connected to a water channel which is hidden behind the surface of the toilet bowl in the ceramic. The water flows through the water inlet into the water channel to the water distributor used according to the invention, where the water flow is divided and flows through the two differently sized flushing water outlet openings into the toilet bowl. The large flush water outlet is located at the top of the toilet bowl and directs most of the flush water forward, obliquely tangentially into the toilet bowl, with the flush water flowing around the inside of the toilet bowl along a lateral edge on the inside of the toilet bowl. A part This flushing water constantly loses flow energy and flows down the inner side walls of the toilet bowl, cleaning it in the process. According to the invention, the edge tapers to zero before it reaches the back wall of the toilet bowl. According to an alternative embodiment of the invention, the edge or shoulder can also extend completely and with equal thickness around the entire inner surface of the toilet bowl. An embodiment without such an edge and without such a shoulder is also possible according to the invention. The backward small jet of flushing water is designed specifically for flushing the toilet bowl in this region and may not require a ledge or ledge.

The small flush water outlet port is located in the rear upper part of the toilet bowl and discharges the water in the opposite direction to the main flow. A bend is provided internally in the water manifold to redirect flush water flow rearwardly toward the rear interior surface of the toilet bowl. A small jet of water thus enters tangentially along the smooth rear part of the toilet bowl. This is the part of the toilet bowl that cannot usually be cleaned with a normal water distributor or only with the constantly falling main stream of water.

The water distributor, if it protrudes from the toilet body, is approx. 35 mm high, 40 mm wide and 35 mm deep. The two holes are spaced about 60 mm apart and have an internal angle of 110 degrees.

The location of the manifold is approximately 60 degrees offset in the toilet bowl from a centerline extending front to back with respect to the toilet bowl.

The two streams of flush water meet, and the small stream effectively prevents the main stream from flowing any further around the toilet bowl, thereby causing the flush water to be directed into the siphon. The entire flow of flushing water that is fed into the siphon then effects the siphon flushing.

In short, the water distributor separates the respective focal points of the flush and redirects the flush water flow in such a way that the inside of the toilet bowl and the components located in the toilet bowl are optimally cleaned.

Die Hauptvorteile der Erfindung bestehen somit in

  • einer kompakten Bauweise, so dass eine durch Spülwasser nicht oder nur schwer zu reinigende Oberfläche der Innenseite der Toilettenschüssel im Vergleich zu bislang bekannten Spültoiletten minimiert ist. Dies wird durch eine einzigartige Zusammenführung von zwei unterschiedlich, insbesondere bezüglich der Toilettenschüssel gegenläufig, ausgerichteten Spülwasserauslassöffnungen erreicht, die in einem geringen Abstand von ca. 60 mm zueinander angeordnet sind;
  • einer optimierten Richtungsänderung für einen rückwärts gerichteten Wasserstrom;
  • einer besseren Oberflächenreinigung des hinteren Teiles der Toilette mit dem gerichteten kleinen Spülwasserstrahl;
The main advantages of the invention are thus
  • a compact design, so that a surface of the inside of the toilet bowl that cannot be cleaned with flushing water or can only be cleaned with difficulty is minimized in comparison to previously known flushing toilets. This is achieved by a unique combination of two differently aligned flushing water outlet openings, in particular in opposite directions with respect to the toilet bowl, which are arranged at a small distance of approximately 60 mm from one another;
  • an optimized change of direction for a reverse water flow;
  • better surface cleaning of the rear part of the toilet with a directed small jet of flushing water;
  • a control and guidance of the whirled main rinsing water into the siphon for optimal siphon rinsing; and
  • a quieter rinsing due to the horizontal rinsing direction of the water exiting the rinsing holes, as well as
  • ultimately a clearer design of the back of the toilet bowl.

In the following description, the same reference numerals are used for the same parts and parts with the same effect.

1 shows a schematic representation of the structure and the mode of operation of the flushing toilet 10 according to the invention. The flushing toilet 10 has a toilet body 30 which includes a toilet bowl 20 . Furthermore, the flushing toilet 10 comprises a flushing water outlet 40 which is arranged in a rear lateral corner area of the toilet bowl 20 and from which flushing water can pour into the toilet bowl 20 . The flushing water outlet 40 in turn comprises a first flushing water outlet opening 42 from which flushing water can flow in a first initial flushing direction 52 along a lateral inner side wall 62 of the toilet bowl 20 . Furthermore, the flushing water outlet 40 includes a second flushing water outlet opening 44 from which flushing water can flow in the direction of a second initial flushing direction 54 along a rear inner side wall 64 of the toilet bowl 20 . The flushing stream flowing out of the first flushing water outlet opening 42 circulates along the lateral inner side wall 62 associated with the first flushing water outlet opening 42 in the direction of the front inner side wall of the toilet bowl 20 and then in the direction of the opposite lateral inner side wall of the toilet bowl 20. In contrast, the flushing stream flowing out of the second flushing water opening 44 flows Flushing flow corresponding to the second initial flushing direction 54, starting from the second flushing water outlet opening 44 along the rear inner side wall 64 in the direction of the opposite inner side wall of the toilet bowl 20, where the first flushing water flow flowing out of the first flushing water outlet opening 42 meets the second flushing water flow flowing out of the second flushing water outlet opening 44 and due to this coincidence, it is deflected downwards, ie in the direction of the siphon.

How both out 1 as well as 2 As can be seen, the first flushing water outlet opening 42 and the second flushing water outlet opening 44 are each followed directly by a step 80 designed as a strip 80', each of which is formed in such a way that flushing water flowing out of the respective flushing water outlet opening initially flows above and/or on the respective strip and in this way initially remains in the upper region of the toilet bowl 20 against the effect of gravity and only circulates through the toilet bowl 20 with a downward tendency at a certain distance from the respective flushing water outlet opening. The respective strip 80' or the shoulder 80 formed by the strip 80' tapers, in particular in relation to its width, ie its radial extension, with increasing distance from the respective flushing water outlet opening and, in the case of the ledge 80' adjoining the first flush water outlet opening, extends over an area of one third to one half of the lateral inner side wall 62 and in the case of the ledge 80' adjoining the second flush water outlet opening 44 over an area of about one sixth up to a quarter of the length of the rear inner side wall 64.
