Definitions
- the present invention relates to a cocking indicator apparatus in a simulation gun in which an operation member provided in a gun main body is operated and cocking is performed.
- a simulation gun shooting a so-called airsoft pellet is also referred to as an airsoft gun or the like.
- guns such as guns for juveniles to the extent of having 18 years or older as targets, and the guns are widely used.
- guns provided for adults have been developed as an item having high tasty elements. Accordingly, it is desired to be provided with the shape, the structure, and the operability as a real gun true to life.
- the simulation gun which has been recently used for the purpose of the practice of police and the like, it is desirable to have the same operability and the like as the real gun.
- a gun or the like of the type described above includes a cocking indicator such that it is possible to grasp the state of a gun, that is, whether or not cocking is performed. Accordingly, the state of a gun can be grasped through sight or feeling by using the cocking indicator.
- the cocking indicator In the related art, it seems to be not unprecedented to mount the cocking indicator in a simulation gun. However, there are few precedents. In simulation guns as well, since the cocking indicator is useful, the applicant of this case has carried forward the development and created the present invention.
- the invention relates to a shooting mechanism of a toy gun in which whether the state is a state capable of shooting or a state not capable of shooting can be determined based on the appearance.
- a rod-shaped member which is so-called an indicator bar penetrating a piston cylinder mechanism back and forth is used.
- the front end of the indicator bar abuts a piston in a state of cocking, and the indicator bar is restrained from moving forward.
- the rear end of the indicator bar is configured to protrude outward so as to be in a state of being able to be visually recognized. Therefore, the indicator bar has to be longer than the piston cylinder mechanism.
- a long rod-shaped member is required as the indicator bar, and embedding the indicator bar in the gun main body results in a complicated structure.
- due to the mechanism of moving the indicator bar back and forth there is a disadvantage of frictional resistance with respect to a penetration hole occurring in a sliding part, and there is a possibility that the above-described circumstances lead to a problem regarding the strength.
- the rod-shaped indicator bar pressurizes the piston forward by using a spring, thereby acting in a direction of increasing thrust of the piston. As a result, it is estimated that a problem of extra energy acted on a bullet or a problem of unstable operation of the piston is caused.
- the present invention has been made in consideration of the foregoing points, and an object thereof is to be able to clearly grasp a state of cocking by only an operation member independent from a piston cylinder mechanism and the like.
- another object of the present invention is to provide a cocking indicator apparatus in a simulation gun suitable for miniaturization.
- means for a simulation gun in which an operation member provided in a gun main body is operated and cocking is performed, and which includes an indicator which is disposed in the rear portion of the operation member and of which a part is provided so as to be able to protrude and be immersed with respect to the operation member in response to a cocking operation of the operation member, a lock member which is interlocked with the indicator in order to retain a protrusion state when a part of the indicator protrudes from the operation member, and a release mechanism which causes the protrusion state of the indicator to be a non-protrusion state.
- the cocking indicator apparatus in a simulation gun includes configuration elements such as the operation member, the indicator, the lock member, and the release mechanism.
- the indicator is to be disposed in the rear portion of the operation member, and the indicator of which a part is provided so as to be able to protrude and be immersed with respect to the operation member in response to a cocking operation of the operation member.
- an indicator having an arbitrary form can be employed. That is, the indicator is not required to be a long rod-shaped member as disclosed in the patent literature. Furthermore, it is possible to design an indicator having a form suitable for the shape and the structure of a simulation gun.
- the indicator may take three different states such as a state before cocking, in which a part thereof is withdrawn beyond the rear portion of the operation member; a state in the middle of cocking, in which a part of the indicator is substantially the same as the rear portion of the operation member; and a state after cocking, in which a part of the indicator protrudes from the rear portion of the operation member.
- claim 1 clearly includes the indicator apparatus having this configuration.
- the indicator apparatus having this configuration.
- the release mechanism includes a shear acting on the lock member in association with a trigger for a shooting operation and releasing an interlocked state of the indicator so as to realize the non-protrusion state, and a locked state of the lock member is configured to be released in accordance with engagement of engagement means by the shear.
- the indicator indicates a change of the state of cocking, and cocking ends in accordance with completion of shooting a bullet or completion of the shooting operation (in a case of so-called blank firing).
- the shooting operation takes a configuration of passing through a process in which the shooting operation is transferred from the trigger via the shear. Therefore, it is meaningful to take a configuration in which interlocking of the indicator is correlated to the shear.
- a simulation gun in which an operation member provided in a gun main body is operated and cocking is performed has a configuration in which the operation member has a piston cylinder mechanism which is provided so as to be movable with respect to the gun main body in a forward/rearward direction, a bolt member which is integrally attached to a rear portion thereof, and an operation handle portion which is provided between the piston cylinder mechanism and the bolt member; in which the bolt member has a hollow part which is open rearward, and has an indicator which is disposed in the hollow part and protrudes from the operation member in response to a cocking operation of the operation member; the indicator is movable back and forth in the hollow part and has an elastic member of which a part is biased in a direction of moving forward beyond the bolt member; and the cocking indicator apparatus includes a lock member which is interlocked with the indicator provided in the gun main body in order to retain the indicator in a state of protruding from the hollow part of the bolt member, and a release
- the present invention has a configuration and acts as described above, thereby exhibiting an effect of being embedded in the operation member independent from the piston cylinder mechanism and the like, and being able to clearly grasp the state of cocking.
- a cocking indicator apparatus for being embedded in a part of the operation member, it is possible to provide a cocking indicator apparatus in a simulation gun suitable for miniaturization.
- a simulation gun 10 according to the present invention illustrated in the embodiment is modelled on a bolt action rifle and is broadly divided into sections such as a shooting device section 11 embedded in a gun main body, a barrel section 12 positioned in the front portion thereof, and a stock section 13 positioned in the rear portion of the shooting device section 11.
- the shooting device section 11 includes a piston 14 and a cylinder 16 and is provided with an operation member 20 having a piston cylinder mechanism 15 generating compressed air for shooting a bullet, a shooting mechanism 25 for controlling a shooting operation performed by a trigger 22 (will be described later), and a bullet loading mechanism 35.
- the piston cylinder mechanism 15 has the piston 14 and the cylinder 16, is attached so as to be movable in a forward/rearward direction of the gun main body, and configures the front portion of the operation member 20 performing cocking.
- a bolt member 21 (will be described later) is provided on the rear side of the piston cylinder mechanism 15. In addition, the bolt member 21 configures the rear portion of the operation member 20.
- the operation member 20 including the piston cylinder mechanism 15 and the bolt member 21 is movable in the forward/rearward direction of the gun main body.
- an operation handle portion 17 is provided on the bolt member side.
- the operation handle portion 17 includes a lever 17c which is mounted on the bolt action rifle and has a shape and a structure copying a member so as to serve as a bolt handle.
- the lever 17c of the operation handle portion 17 is indicated by the two-dot chain line because the shooting device section cannot be seen in the illustrated state, thereby illustrating only the installation position.
- the configuration for movably attaching the piston cylinder mechanism 15 to the gun main body is well known, and the case of the embodiment may also adopt a configuration similar to a general configuration. Accordingly, detailed description will be omitted.
- the basic configuration of the embodiment is as follows. That is, the piston cylinder mechanism 15 stores pressure due to retraction of the piston 14 inserted into the cylinder 16 and has a piston spring 18 which causes the piston 14 to advance due to a release thereof.
- the cylinder 16 is embedded on the gun main body side so as to be able to advance and be retracted and is configured to ensure a space for raising a bullet B in the front portion of a nozzle 19 at the tip when being retracted and to load the bullet B in a cartridge part at the rear end of a barrel in the tip portion of the nozzle 19 when advancing.
- the shooting mechanism 25 controlling the shooting operation described above is rotatably and pivotally supported by a support pivot 22a on the gun main body side and has the trigger 22 biased by a trigger spring 22b.
- the trigger 22 has an input portion 22c protruding so as to abut an intermediate member 23, on the front side.
- the trigger 22 has a trigger screw 22d adjusting the protruding amount with respect to the intermediate member 23, on the rear side.
- the intermediate member 23 is pivotally supported by a support pivot 23a on the gun main body side and transmits an operation of the trigger 22 to a first shear 24 in shears made of two members (refer to Fig. 3 ).
- the first shear 24 is rotatably and pivotally supported by a support pivot 24a on the front portion, on the gun main body side. Springs 23b and 24b respectively act on the intermediate member 23 and the first shear 24.
- the first shear 24 has an engagement portion 33 in the rear portion and is configured to be interlocked with an engagement counterpart portion 34 of an indicator lock 32 acting on an indicator 30 (will be described later) so as to be able to be locked in the state thereof.
- a second shear 27 is rotatably and pivotally supported by a support pivot 27a in the first shear 24.
- the second shear 27 is biased so as to protrude in a direction of the piston 14 by a shear spring 27b.
- an engagement portion 28 is provided in the rear portion of the piston 14 and is configured to engage with a protruding tip 29 of the second shear 27 at a piston retraction position (refer to Fig. 6B ).
- a slit 16a through which the tip 29 passes is formed in the longitudinal direction of the lower surface of the cylinder 16.
- the intermediate member 23 is pivotally supported at the lower portion on the gun main body side and is interlocked with an interlock counterpart portion 26 formed in the rear portion of the first shear 24, in an interlock portion 23c formed in the upper portion (refer to Fig. 3 ).
- the intermediate member 23 has the length of an arm arbitrarily set between the support pivot 23a and the interlock portion 23c.
- the input portion 22c of the trigger 22 abuts the position approximately half thereof.
- the operation handle portion 17 described above is positioned between the bolt member 21 and the piston cylinder mechanism 15, as a part of the operation member 20.
- the operation handle portion 17 is provided so as to be rotatable around the axis in the longitudinal direction with respect to the piston cylinder mechanism 15 (refer to Fig. 4 and the like).
- the operation handle portion 17 is configured to be able to rotatably operate the lever 17c from a lower position illustrated in Figs. 4A to 4C to an upper position illustrated in Figs. 5A to 5C for a cocking operation.
- a part 30a of the indicator 30 engages with a recess portion 17a on the operation handle portion side.
- a projection portion 17b provided on the front side of the operation handle portion 17 so as to be able to protrude and be immersed engages with a recess portion 15b provided in the rear portion of the piston cylinder mechanism 15. Due to such engagement means, the lever 17c of the operation handle portion 17 is positioned at each of the lower position and the upper position.
- the indicator 30 described above is embedded so as to be movable back and forth in a hollow part 21a of the bolt member 21 and is biased forward due to an indicator spring 31 disposed between a bolt member side receiving portion 21b and an indicator side receiving portion 30b, that is, in a direction of being withdrawn from the hollow part 21a.
- the recess portion 17a on the operation handle portion side is in a state of being able to engage with the part 30a of the indicator 30 only when the lever 17c of the operation handle portion 17 is at the lower position.
- the part 30a of the indicator 30 protrudes slightly lower than a portion in the front thereof and plays roles to stop the indicator lock 32 from rising when not in operation and to stop the indicator 30 from advancing during cocking.
- the recess portion 17a on the operation handle portion side also serves as a part for housing the indicator lock 32 in order to retain the indicator 30 in the protrusion state.
- the indicator lock 32 configures a lock member retaining the indicator 30 in the protrusion state, is embedded on the gun main body side of the rear end portion of the first shear 24 described above (refer to Fig. 3 ), and is biased upward by a lock spring 32b such that a tip portion 32a is housed in the recess portion 17a.
- the tip portion 32a of the indicator lock 32 protrudes upward from a through port 32c on the gun main body side.
- a counterpart portion 34 for engagement with respect to the engagement portion 33 on the first shear 24 side is provided in the indicator lock 32.
- the engagement portion 33 on the first shear 24 side engages with the engagement counterpart portion 34 of the indicator lock 32 so as to regulate upward movement limit.
- the engagement portion 33 is lowered due to rotation of the first shear 24 and acts such that the indicator lock 32 escapes from the indicator 30 side and the locked state is released.
- the engagement portion 33 on the first shear 24 side and the engagement counterpart portion 34 of the indicator lock 32 configure a release mechanism causing the protrusion state of the indicator to be in a non-protrusion state.
- the bullet loading mechanism 35 described above is a part of the simulation gun 10 and is illustrated as a type of mounting a magazine 37 which is attachable/detachable with respect to a magazine insertion port 36 provided on the gun main body side.
- the bullet B is biased forward by a magazine spring 38 from a state of being loaded into the magazine 37, passes through a bullet feeding section 39, and is fed to a position at the rear of the barrel.
- Fig. 6A illustrates a state where a cocking operation is not performed.
- the lever 17c is at the lower position, and the part 30a of the indicator 30 is in a state of engaging with the recess portion 17a ( Fig. 4 ).
- the indicator 30 is biased by the indicator spring 31 and is at the front position, and the rear end is in an immersed state of being housed inside the hollow part 21a of the bolt member 21.
- the indicator 30 in the immersed state cannot be seen from the side surface.
- a user touches the indicator 30 with a fingertip it is possible to know that the indicator 30 is withdrawn inside the hollow part 21a of the bolt member 21. Therefore, the simulation gun is not cocked, and there is no change even if the trigger 22 is operated, thereby being checked to be in a safe state. Determination which can be performed through feeling is also effective when the indicator 30 cannot be sighted such as at night, or when there is no time to spare for visually checking.
- the engagement portion 28 of the retracted piston 14 and the tip 29 of the second shear 27 are in an engaged state ( Fig. 6B ). Therefore, the part 30a of the indicator 30 leaves from the recess portion 17a, abuts the rear surface of the operation handle portion 17, and moves rearward. In this case, the indicator 30 is in a state of being flush with the surface of the bolt member 21, and the flush surface state can also be easily checked through sight or feeling.
- the indicator lock 32 rises to a position of being in contact with the cylinder 16 by the lock spring 32b.
- the bullet B moves to a position at the rear of the barrel due to retraction of the cylinder 16.
- cocking is performed by pushing the operation member 20 until the lever 17c stops in front, as in the state of Fig. 7A .
- the piston 14 of the piston cylinder mechanism 15 is positioned in a state of engaging with the tip 29 of the second shear 27.
- the lever 17c returns to the lower position and the recess portion 17a comes above the indicator lock 32. Therefore, the tip portion 32a rises so as to be able to be engaged. Due to advance of the cylinder 16, the bullet B is loaded in a cartridge portion at the nozzle 19 of the tip.
- the part 30a of the indicator 30 engages with the tip portion 32a of the indicator lock 32 biased upward and is stopped from advancing.
- the indicator 30 protrudes slightly rearward beyond the bolt member 21 and is in the protrusion state.
- the state of being cocked is clearly grasped in visual and tactual manners.
- the piston spring 18 When the trigger 22 is operated in a state where cocking is completed, the piston spring 18 operates, compressed air is generated due to the advance of the piston 14, and the bullet B is shot due to the generated compressed air ( Fig. 7B ).
- the shooting mechanism 25 the rear end portion of the first shear 24 is lowered in association with an operation of the trigger 22. Therefore, the engagement portion 33 provided in the rear end portion is lowered and engages with the counterpart portion 34 of the indicator lock 32. Then, the indicator lock 32 is pushed down. As a result, the indicator 30 advances by the indicator spring 31 and returns to a state of being withdrawn inside the hollow part 21a of the bolt member 21.
- Fig. 8 illustrates a non-operation state after the bullet B is shot.
- the indicator 30 is withdrawn and no cocking operation is performed.
- the state is the same as that in Fig. 6A , and the lever 17c moves to the lower position and returns to the initial state due to the movement.
- a third state which is not any of protrusion and immersion is taken. Therefore, a user can clearly grasp each of the states before operating cocking, in the middle of operation, and completion of cocking.
- the indicator apparatus according to the present invention is configured as described above and can be compactly embedded in a simulation gun as an extremely small-type indicator. Accordingly, even in a case of a long simulation gun such as a bolt action rifle, the present invention can be executed without requiring a significant change of the internal structure of the simulation gun. Therefore, the present invention is not limited to a rifle-type simulation gun and is easily diverted as a hand gun-type simulation gun, for example.
