Claims (22)

  1. Tuft picking device (1) for a brush producing machine (2), having a tuft picker (3), which has a tuft picking notch (6) on its front side (5) which faces a bristle supply (4) in the use position, wherein the tuft picker (3) can be moved past the bristle supply (4) between a tuft receiving position and a tuft dispensing position for the purpose of picking a bristle tuft (7) from the bristle supply (4) and for the purpose of dispensing a received bristle tuft (7) to the brush producing machine (2) by means of the tuft picking notch (6), wherein the tuft picking device (1) has at least one movable pressure piece (15), which can be pushed into the tuft picking notch (6) in order to alter its picking cross section, characterized in that the pressure piece (15) can be displaced in the tuft picking notch (6) transversely with respect to the direction of longitudinal extent of the tuft picking notch (6) between a first edge (16), which runs transversely with respect to the direction of longitudinal extent of the tuft picking notch (6), and a second edge (17), situated opposite the first edge (16), of the tuft picking notch (6) .
  2. Tuft picking device (1) according to Claim 1, characterized in that a material-free cross section (21), through which the pressure piece (15) can be pushed into the tuft picking notch (6) and/or can be displaced in the tuft picking notch (6), preferably from the direction of a rear side (22) of the tuft picker (3), is formed on the tuft picker (3) between a first peripheral wall (19), adjacent to the first edge (16), of the tuft picking notch (6) and a second peripheral wall (20), adjacent to the second edge (17), of the tuft picking notch (6), and/or in that the pressure piece (15) can be displaced in the tuft picking notch (6) centrally between the first edge (16) and the second edge (17).
  3. Tuft picking device (1) according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the tuft picking device (1), in particular the tuft picker (3), has a guide (18) along which the pressure piece (15) can be displaced in the tuft picking notch (6) in a guided manner.
  4. Tuft picking device (1) according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the tuft picking notch (6) has a concave profile, in particular the form of a cylindrical shell, and/or in that a contact face (23), which faces the tuft picking notch (6), of the pressure piece (15) has a concave profile, in particular the form of a cylindrical shell.
  5. Tuft picking device (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the tuft picking device (1) has an actuating device (24), which is configured to displace the pressure piece (15) in the tuft picking notch (6), in particular from work stroke to work stroke and/or when the tuft picker (3) is in a tuft receiving position in front of the bristle supply (4) and/or when the tuft picker (3) is between the tuft receiving position and the tuft dispensing position and/or when the tuft picker (3) has moved and/or when the tuft picker (3) is in a tuft dispensing position.

  7. Tuft picking device (1) according to Claim 5 or 6, characterized in that the actuating device (24) comprises a wire roll (28) for winding up and unwinding the actuating wire (25).
  8. Tuft picking device (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the actuating device (24) has a slotted-guide track (29) which can be adjusted, preferably by a motor, relative to the front side (5) of the tuft picker (3), a sliding block (30) which is guided in the slotted-guide track (29), in particular a sliding roll (30), and a slotted-guide lever (31) for the purpose of winding up and unwinding the wire roll (28) and therefore modifying the picking cross section of the tuft picking notch (6), wherein the sliding block (30) is secured or mounted on the slotted-guide lever (31), preferably rotatably, and wherein the wire roll (28) is connected to the slotted-guide lever (31) for conjoint rotation therewith, with the result that the actuating wire (25) can be wound up onto the wire roll (28) when the slotted-guide track (29) is being moved in a direction relative to the front side (5) of the tuft picker (3), the actuating wire (25) can be lowered on the oblique face (27), and thus the pressure piece (15) can be pushed into the tuft picking notch (6), and in that the actuating wire (25) can be unwound from the wire roll (28) when the slotted-guide track (29) is being moved in the opposite direction, the actuating wire (25) can be lifted by being displaced along the oblique face (27), and thus the pressure piece (15) can be drawn back in the tuft picking notch (6).
  9. Tuft picking device (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the tuft picker (3) has a wire guiding device (32), in particular with a guide groove (33), for the actuating wire (25).
  10. Tuft picking device (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the tuft picker (3) has a pocket (34), within which the pressure piece (15) and/or the actuating wire (25) and/or the wire roll (28) and/or the slotted-guide lever (31) and/or the wire guiding device (32) is/are arranged.
  11. Tuft picking device (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the actuating device (24) has a one-armed adjusting lever (36), which is connected to the tuft picker (3) via an articulated joint (35) and by means of which the pressure piece (15) can be displaced.
  12. Tuft picking device (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that, for the purpose of actuating the pressure piece (15), the actuating device (24) comprises a or the one-armed adjusting lever (36), which is connected to the tuft picker (3) via an articulated joint (35), and a slotted-guide track (29) which can be adjusted, in particular by a motor, relative to the front side (5) of the tuft picker (3), wherein the adjusting lever (36) is connected to the tuft picker (3) in an articulated manner via the articulated joint (35) at one articulated-joint end (37) and has a sliding block (30) guided in the slotted-guide track (29), in particular a sliding roll (30), at a free lever end (38) opposite to the articulated-joint end (37), wherein the pressure piece (15) engages on a lever portion between the articulated-joint end (37) and the free lever end (38) or is formed thereon or connected thereto, and in that the one-armed adjusting lever (36) pivots away from the front side (5) of the tuft picker (3) when the slotted-guide track (29) is being moved in a direction relative to the front side (5) of the tuft picker (3) and thus the pressure piece (15) can be drawn back in the tuft picking notch (6), and in that the one-armed adjusting lever (36) pivots towards the front side (5) of the tuft picker (3) when the slotted-guide track (29) is being moved in the opposite direction, and thus the pressure piece (15) can be pushed into the tuft picking notch (6).
  13. Tuft picking device (1) according to Claim 5, characterized in that the actuating device (24) has a two-armed adjusting lever (40), which is connected to the tuft picker (3) via an articulated joint (35) and by means of which the pressure piece (15) can be displaced.
  14. Tuft picking device (1) according to Claim 5 or 13, characterized in that, for the purpose of actuating the pressure piece (15), the actuating device (24) comprises a or the two-armed adjusting lever (40), which is connected to the tuft picker (3) via an articulated joint (35), and a slotted-guide track (29) which can be adjusted, in particular by a motor, relative to the front side (5) of the tuft picker (3), wherein the adjusting lever (40) has the pressure piece (15) on a first lever arm (41) and a sliding block (30) guided in the slotted-guide track (29), in particular a sliding roll (30), on a second lever arm (42) arranged on the other side to the articulated joint (35), and in that the first lever arm (41) can be pivoted in the direction of the front side (5) of the tuft picker (3) when the slotted-guide track (29) is being moved in a direction relative to the front side (5) of the tuft picker (3) and the pressure piece (15) can be pushed into the tuft picking notch (6), and in that the first lever arm (41) can be pivoted away from the front side (5) of the tuft picker (3) when the slotted-guide track (29) is being moved in the opposite direction, and thus the pressure piece (15) can be drawn back in the tuft picking notch (6).
  15. Tuft picking device (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the pressure piece (15) is incorporated in the adjusting lever (36, 40), in particular forms a materially homogeneous monolithic unit therewith.
