Description

The invention relates to a car body for a rail vehicle according to the preamble of claim 1. According to this, a car body is provided with a car body shell which has at least one roof opening which extends in the transverse direction of the car body shell between the side wall top chords of the car body shell, and with a removable Roof element for completely closing the at least one roof opening, the roof element being designed as a roof module that is detachably fastened on both sides to the upper chords of the side wall and has a non-load-carrying outer skin and at least one bow running in the transverse direction of the car body and below the outer skin for the load-carrying connection of side walls of the car body shell .

Such a car body is, for example, from FR 2 433 448 A1 known. In the U.S. 2016/001789 A1 another embodiment of a car body for a rail vehicle with a roof that can be attached is disclosed.

Another car body is known, for example, from the field of locomotive construction (e.g. series 120 of the Deutsche Bahn), with components in the machine room of a locomotive being introduced from above through large roof openings. The roof openings are covered with roof covers, which usually also carry roof equipment, such as pantographs, main switches and high-voltage converters.

In general, in rail vehicles, in particular those for passenger transport, various functions are implemented in the car body. Examples include: protection of passengers from external influences, air conditioning, etc. Various installations are made in the car body to implement these functions. These successes usually after completion of the car body shell, which by whose typically tubular design can often only take place under space-restricted conditions. This expansion work is therefore often time-consuming and costly.

Proceeding from this, the object of the invention is to further develop a car body of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that it can be implemented in a simple manner, with space restrictions being avoided, so that there are overall time and cost savings compared to the prior art.

This problem is solved by a car body according to patent claim 1.

Based on the car body mentioned at the outset, such a car body is characterized in that the roof element has at least one functional layer arranged underneath the outer skin, with the outer skin, the at least one bow and the at least one functional layer being firmly connected to one another and forming a preassemblable unit.

A car body equipped in this way is characterized in that the comparatively complex roof module is used to take on extensive functions that are to be implemented in the car body. In particular, the roof module closes the roof opening with its non-load-carrying outer skin, while the at least one functional layer is already preassembled as part of the roof module and therefore does not have to be installed in the car body afterwards. It should also be emphasized that a load is transferred from one side wall to the other via the at least one bow, so that low demands are made on the strength of the outer skin of the roof module.

The roof module can have at least two functional layers arranged one above the other and firmly connected to one another. In this way, additional functions are added to the roof module integrated, for the realization of which no subsequent installation work is required on the car body.

The functional layers can be selected from a group that includes a layer for air routing for the air conditioning of an interior of the car body, a layer for electrical connections or a layer for lines for transporting liquid cooling media. For example, the roof module can be constructed as follows from top to bottom: non-load-carrying outer skin, bow, layer for electrical connections, layer for the air conditioning of an interior and roof-side section of an interior paneling of the car body. In particular, the interior paneling of the car body, which faces the roof, can form the underside of the roof module.

The at least one functional layer preferably traverses the bow horizontally. In this case, the functional layer outside the bows is designed in the form of a channel, while in the bow area a through-opening in the respective bows assumes the channel function.

One of the functional layers preferably runs horizontally directly below the at least one bow. This allows the functional layers to be accommodated in a space-saving manner. Alternatively, however, it is also possible for the functional layer to be arranged at a vertical distance from an underside of the bow.

The functional layers provided are designed in the form of channels. In the case of an electrical layer, for example, various cables lie within a channel-shaped housing. In the case of an air conditioning duct, a free interior of the functional layer is used to conduct air. When using a functional layer for guiding liquid cooling media, suitable fluid lines are accommodated within a channel-shaped housing.

The roof module can be equipped with lighting elements, monitors and/or loudspeakers in the area of the interior lining. These measures increase the degree of integration of the roof module with regard to supported functions.

At least one large component can be arranged in the area of the roof opening, which is mounted directly on at least one of the side wall upper flanges of the car body shell and is arranged in the area of the at least one roof opening at a vertical distance from the roof module. Due to the arrangement made, the large component, which can be an air conditioning system, for example, does not touch the non-load-carrying outer skin of the roof module. The support and assembly of the large component is carried out exclusively via one or two heavy-duty rails, which would then be distributed over the two existing side wall upper chords.

The roof opening can extend over an entire area between the end walls and the side walls of the car body shell, in which case the roof module would have at least two bows. If necessary, further bows can be provided in order to ensure suitable load guidance between the two side walls. A roof module, which is intended to close a roof opening of the dimension mentioned, thus extends approximately over the entire roof area of a car body.

An embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawings. Show it:

Out of figure 1 shows the general structure of a car body for a rail vehicle. A car body shell 1 has a box-like structure which is open towards the roof and consists of end walls, side walls with side wall upper flanges 2 and a vehicle floor. A roof area of this structure is open over the entire interior length and width of the car body shell. A roof module 4 present as a preassembled unit is used to close the resulting roof opening 3. The roof module 4 can be inserted with a precise fit into the roof opening 3 from above, with two bows 6 being provided on the underside of an outer skin 5 in the present exemplary embodiment for the load-transmitting connection between the side wall upper flanges 2 are. As will be explained in more detail later, the bows 6 are releasably connected directly to the side wall top chords 2 in a load-transmitting manner, so that the outer skin 5 can be described as "not load-carrying", specifically in relation to load transfers between the side wall top chords 2 and the side walls.

From the figures 2 and 3 the structure of the roof module 4 now appears in more detail. The outer skin 5 rests with its longitudinal edges 7 via spacers 8 on associated webs of the side wall upper flanges 2 that project inward. There are vertically running screws which prestress longitudinal seals between the longitudinal edges 7 of the outer skin 5 and the car body 1 .

In the present exemplary embodiment, the outer skin 5 rests directly on the two bows 6 . Vertically running side surfaces 10 of the bows 6 are associated side surfaces 9 of the side wall upper flanges 2 directly opposite.

Dazu umfassen die Spriegel 6 Flanschplatten 22.In connection areas at detail X in figure 3 between the side surfaces 9 of the side wall top chords 2 and the side surfaces 10 of the bows 6, the side wall top chords 2 and the bows 6 are each detachably connected to one another in a load-bearing manner. This goes into more detail figure 4 emerges, the side wall upper flanges 2 being equipped with horizontally running threaded bores 20, into which screws 21 coming from the side of the bow 6 engage. For this purpose, the bows 6 include flange plates 22.

Outside the bows 6, a first, channel-shaped, functional layer 11 is firmly connected to the outer skin 5 of the roof module 4 via spacers 12. In the immediate area of the bow 6, the first functional layer 11 crosses the bow 6, resulting in a continuous channel.

Die zweite funktionale Schicht 14 verläuft im Bereich der Spriegel 6 unmittelbar unterhalb der Spriegel 6 (Fig. 3).A second, channel-shaped functional layer 14 is arranged via spacers 13 directly adjoining the first functional layer 11 from below. This second functional layer 14 is connected to the first functional layer 11 and the non-load-carrying outer skin 5 to form a fixed unit. The second functional layer 14 runs in the area of the bows 6 directly below the bows 6 ( 3 ).

An underside of the roof module 5, which faces a vehicle interior of the car body 1, is formed by an interior lining 15, which is placed on the second functional layer 14 from below via spacers 16 and is equipped with speakers, monitors, lighting elements, etc.

Outside the bows 6 ( 2 ) The first and the second functional layer 11, 14 are each lined laterally with a metal sheet 17 running along the car body 1, the upper edge of which is connected to an underside of the outer skin 5, while its lower edge is connected to the inner lining.

In principle, the function of the functional layers 11, 14 is left to the discretion of the person skilled in the art. In the present exemplary embodiment, however, the first functional layer 1 is formed by an electrical layer, while the second layer 14 running directly below the bow 6 is present as a climate layer.

Insofern liegen die seitlichen Ränder 7 der Außenhaut 5 einwärts der Schwerlastschienen 19.In the figures 2 and 3 a large component 18 is also illustrated, which is arranged at a distance from the outer skin 5 above the same. The large component 18 can be, for example, an air conditioning unit located on the roof of the car body 1 . The large component 18 is in no contact whatsoever with the outer skin 5 and is connected laterally to heavy-duty rails 19 which are provided on an upper side of the upper chords 2 of the side wall. In this respect, the lateral edges 7 of the outer skin 5 are inward of the heavy-duty rails 19.
