Description

It is known to provide display cabinets for items sold in small, medium or large areas. It is also known practice to provide these cabinets in the form of refrigerated air display cases, in particular for articles to be stored in a cool place. Some patent applications thus deal with the design / arrangement of shelves inside said cabinets. For example, patent applications EP1547492A2 and WO200908999A1 offer cabinets whose interior layout aims to improve the circulation of fresh air. Other examples of cabinets are available in the documents JP 39372 U , US 3,598,066 , JP S61 187563 U and FR 1,032,611 . The documents WO 1/26078 and US 5,722,623 give examples of cabinet information support tapes.

However, the arrangements disclosed in these patent applications do not offer optimum visibility of the contents of these cabinets, nor sufficient storage capacity.

One of the objectives of the invention is to provide a display cabinet which ensures good visibility of its contents while having a storage capacity suitable for sale in small, medium or large areas.

Thus, the invention relates to a display cabinet intended for the storage of food items, the cabinet comprising a plurality of shelves, the cabinet having a main direction of extension, called the height of the cabinet, the shelves being distributed. on the height of the cabinet, each shelf being separated from the previous one and / or the next along the height of the cabinet by an empty space intended to receive at least one of the articles, said height being coincident with the direction Z of an orthonormal coordinate system (X, Y, Z) attached to the cabinet.

According to the invention, the plurality of shelves separates into two groups of shelves, each of the two groups of shelves comprising at least two shelves having a given depth, the depth of one shelf being measured along the Y direction. of said orthonormal mark, the first group of shelves having a first depth which is greater than the depth of the shelves of the second group of shelves, called the second depth, said cabinet further comprising a support strip capable of carrying a first presentation of information, said support strip marking a separation between the two groups of shelves along the Z direction.

The display cabinet of the invention comprises two groups of shelves. Each of these two groups of shelves has shelves that have the same depth. However, the two depths are different and this has the advantage of shifting one part of the cabinet relative to the other.

In addition, a support strip intended for an information presentation is provided between these two cabinet parts in order, for example, to give clear indications of the contents of said cabinet, for example consumer products.

The offset between the two groups of shelves also has the advantage of improving the direct view of its contents. Indeed, the indentation of part of the shelves allows the user to better visualize the contents of the shelves, for example those which are advanced with respect to the others.

On the other hand, the shelves remain relatively substantial depths. In other words, the invention does not propose a solution in which the shelves have a regularly reduced depth as one moves along the height of the cabinet. This has the additional advantage of providing significant storage space.

Thus, the presentation cabinet of the invention ensures good visibility of its contents while having a storage capacity suitable in particular for sale in small, medium or large areas.

The figure 1 illustrates an example of the prior art, seen from the side.

This figure illustrates a display cabinet for storing food items, the cabinet comprising a plurality of shelves all having the same depth. The user who is opposite will have difficulty viewing the content of certain floors of this cabinet, for example the content of the floors marked 2 and 7 in said figure. On the other hand, in the case of this presentation cabinet, the user is not guided; viewing the contents of such a cabinet is not made easy for him.

The figure 2a schematically illustrates a first embodiment of a cabinet 10 which is not according to the invention, seen from the side, so as to make a comparison with the prior art illustrated in figure 1 .

In this figure, the display cabinet 10 intended for the storage of food items A (see figure 2c ) comprises a plurality of shelves 21, 22.

The term “presentation cabinet” is understood to mean a piece of furniture with several floors, or levels, comprising in particular a door 12, in particular transparent (see figure 5a , 6 or 7 ). By “display cabinet” is also meant display cabinet.

Le « stockage » est ici effectué dans l'objectif de vendre ledit article A.The "storage" is here carried out with the objective of selling said article A.

By “shelf” is meant shelf, rack and / or shelving.

Here, the food items A will be, for example, cheese, dairy or other items to be kept cool after packaging, for example cold meats. This list of food items A is not exhaustive and the cabinet of the invention can be used with any other type of food items, in particular drinks or items which are usually stored at room temperature, in particular dry.

A.The cabinet 10 will advantageously have a main direction of extension, called the height of the cabinet 10, the shelves 21, 22 being distributed over the height of the cabinet 10, each shelf 21, 22 being separated from the previous one and / or of the following one along the height of the cabinet 10 by an empty space intended to receive at least one of the articles A.

The term “main direction of extension” is understood to mean a direction along which a height of the cabinet 10 is measured, although said height may sometimes be less than the width of said cabinet 10.

By way of example, this height will advantageously be between 1 meter and 2.5 meters; it will preferably be of the order of 2 meters.

For clarification, said height is merged with the Z direction of an orthonormal reference (X, Y, Z) attached to the cabinet 10 (see figures 2a, 3 , 4 , 5a and 7 ) and the cabinet width discussed above will be measured along the X direction.

According to the invention, the plurality of shelves 21, 22 is separated into two groups of shelves G1, G2, each of the two groups of shelves G1, G2 comprising shelves of the same depth.

In the versions illustrated in figures 2a , 4 , 5a , 6 and 7 , the first group of shelves G1 comprises two shelves 21 and the second group of shelves G2 comprises four. These figures are not exhaustive. The first group G1 may comprise between two and eight shelves 21, this without departing from the scope of the invention; likewise, the second group G2 may comprise between two and eight shelves 22, without departing from the scope of the invention.

The depth of a shelf 21, 22 will be measured along the Y direction of said orthonormal coordinate system. So on the figure 7 , the depth of the shelf marked 224 which belongs to group G2 and which is illustrated slightly inclined in the plane of the sheet - coincident with the plane (Y, Z) of the orthonormal coordinate system - will be measured along the direction Y and will be equal to the depth of the shelves marked 221, 222 and 223 which belong to the same group G2 but which are themselves not inclined in said plane (Y, Z).

Par « inclinée », on entend non orthogonal à l'axe Z, ou encore non coplanaire au plan (X, Y).The term “inclined” is understood to mean non-orthogonal to the Z axis, or else not coplanar with the (X, Y) plane.

According to the invention, the first group of shelves G1 will have a first depth P1 which is greater than the depth of the shelves 22 of the second group of shelves G2, called second depth P2 (see in particular figure 7 ).

By way of example, the first depth P1 will be between 30 and 50 cm and will preferably be of the order of 40 cm; while the second depth P2 will be between 40 and 60 cm and will preferably be of the order of 50 cm.

Thus, the cabinet 10 is divided into two parts, with one part set back with respect to the other, in particular along the Y axis (see figure 2a ), which allows a user to increase the number of floors easily visible to an outside user. In other words, the in-depth offset within the cabinet 10, in particular in two distinct zones, has the advantage of increasing the chances that the user will take the time to detail all of the items that it contains. In other words, the arrangement of the shelves 21, 22 in two groups G1, G2 eliminates any pre-existing visual break, as for example in the case of the cabinet illustrated on figure 1 .

Un avantage complémentaire consiste en l'amélioration de l'éclairage des différents étages, ledit éclairage étant amélioré par le retrait des étagères 22 du second groupe G2 par rapport à celles du premier groupe G1 lorsque l'agencement est voisin de celui illustré à la figure 6.An additional advantage consists in improving the lighting of the different floors, said lighting being improved by the removal of the shelves 22 of the second group G2 compared to those of the first group G1 when the arrangement is close to that illustrated in figure 6 .

Indeed, as illustrated in this figure, the light source S can, with the arrangement according to the invention, illuminate an additional zone L which is located in front of the shelves 22 of the second group G2 and thus further improve the visibility of the contents of said shelves. 22. This improvement is due, in particular, to the increase in the lighting volume between the visible ends of the shelves 21, 22 and a possible transparent wall 12 provided in front.

By way of example, this wall 12, shown schematically on the figure 6 , will serve as a display case, or door, depending on the needs of the buyer of the cabinet 10.

Said door, or wall 12, when present on cabinet 10, contributes to improving visibility inside cabinet 10, in particular by reflecting part of the light emitted by the light source S towards the inside of the cabinet 10.

According to the invention, also, said cabinet 10 comprises a support strip 30 capable of carrying a first presentation of information 31, said support strip 30 marking a separation between the two groups of shelves G1, G2 along the direction Z ( see in particular figure 3 , 4 Where 7 ).

The term “support strip” is understood to mean a rigid or semi-rigid mechanical element being able to carry an information presentation 31. In other words, the support strip 30 is designed so that an information presentation 31 which would appear. in the form of a cardboard, a printed sheet, a sticker and / or any other form of communication, in particular commercial, is put in position and maintained in position on said support strip 30. In other words, the strip support 30 provides a surface, or advertising space, which fits into a cabinet, or display case, so as to support a communication medium called, here, information presentation 31.

As an alternative, the support strip 30 and the presentation of information 31 will be merged, in particular in the case where the support strip 30 is engraved by information in relief, and / or in recess, in particular at one of its surfaces, that visible to an external user.

By “the support strip marks a separation between the two groups of shelves G1, G2 along the direction Z” is meant the fact that the support strip 30 marks a border between the two groups of shelves G1, G2, said border being clearly visible to an outside user.

In other words, the support strip 30 is not a label holder attached to the edge of one of said shelves 21, 22.

In other words, the support strip 30 delimits two distinct sides, or even two distinct zones, on either side of itself, a first side / a first zone comprising almost exclusively shelves 21 belonging to the first group G1 and a second side / a second zone comprising almost exclusively shelves 22 belonging to the second group G2; this delimitation is clearly marked, indicated, visible to an external user because it differs from a possible label holder, or even from any information which would be reported, engraved, written directly on a said shelf 21, 22, in particular on the edge of one of said shelves 21, 22.

It is interesting to note that the support strip 30 may be made of plastic, for example of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), of metallic material, for example of aluminum, or even of wood.

It is interesting to note that the width of the support strip 30, measured along the X axis, may be between 40 and 150 cm; it will in particular be equal, by way of example, to 60 cm or to 125 cm. It is also interesting to note that the depth of the support strip 30, measured along the Y axis when the support strip 30 is measured flat, in particular in the (X, Y) plane, may be between 3 and 10 cm; it may be equal, by way of example, to 5 cm or to 6 cm.

In other words, the support strip 30 protrudes relative to one of said shelves 21, 22 so that its width is measurable in the plane (X, Y), this that the support strip 30 extends parallel to the plane. (X, Y) or not. If the support strip 30 does not extend parallel to the plane (X, Y), it is its orthogonal projection in the plane (X, Y) which is called width which is measured in the plane (X, Y).

The positioning and maintaining in position of the information presentation 31 on the support strip 30 can be achieved by any known assembly means, such as sliding inside a plastic strip or semi-permanent clipping. . To do this, a folded strip, in particular of PVC type plastic, can be attached to the support strip 30 and thus serve as a slide in the manner of a label holder. The support strip 30 can also serve as a support for a thin digital screen, without departing from the scope of the invention.

Vi pointe vers la bande support 30, ou module support 30.The support tape 30 is like a silent seller. This strip 30, or support module 30, separates the two groups of shelves G1, G2 giving information and leaving free the field of vision V1 of a user who would like to view the contents of a shelf 21 which is would find further down along the Z axis - see the figure 3 . This figure 3 shows the fields of view V1, Vi and V2 which illustrate that the arrangement inside the cabinet 10 helps to increase the visibility of its contents; Vi is the intermediate field of vision between the first and second fields of vision V1, V2. Vi points to the support strip 30, or support module 30.

The combination of the following two characteristics is particularly advantageous:
  • the offset of the depths between two groups of shelves G1, G2, and
  • the presence of a support strip 30 for presentation of information 31.

En effet, l'utilisateur visualise le contenu de l'ensemble des étages de cette armoire 10, sans effort et, ce même utilisateur est guidé dans son analyse des articles alimentaires que l'armoire 10 propose par des informations placées judicieusement pour être lues d'un coup d'œil : celles portées par la bande support 30 (voir champ de vision repéré Vi sur la figure 3).Indeed, the user visualizes the contents of all the floors of this cabinet 10, effortlessly and, this same user is guided in his analysis of the food items that the cabinet 10 offers by information placed judiciously to be read directly. '' at a glance: those carried by the support band 30 (see field of vision marked Vi on the figure 3 ).

For clarification, and as illustrated on the figures 2a, 3 , 4 , 5a , 6 and 7 , according to the invention when the cabinet 10 is supported on the floor S (see figures 3 and / or 5a), the first group of shelves G1 is closer to the ground than the second group of shelves G2, said support strip 30 being positioned between the two groups of shelves G1, G2.

By way of clarification, again, according to the invention, said support strip 30 is held in position by an attachment to one of the shelves of the second group of shelves 22. This attachment may be magnetic and / or mechanical and / or glued and / or any other means capable of ensuring such fixing on a shelf of the second group of shelves 22.

Thus, according to the invention, the support strip 30 protrudes relative to the shelf on which it is held in position; that means it protrudes from the edge of this shelf 22. In other words, it protrudes from the edge of this shelf 22 in a significant and pronounced manner, along the Y direction.

Quelque soit la fixation choisie, celle-ci sera avantageusement aisée ; elle se fera avantageusement sans l'aide d'outils extérieur, de manière à ce qu'un opérateur de montage prenne un temps réduit à installer ladite bande support 30.Whatever binding chosen, it will be advantageously easy; it will advantageously be done without the aid of external tools, so that an assembly operator takes a reduced time to install said support strip 30.

It can also be done by welding in the factory, or by bolting in the factory or at the place of its installation.

According to the invention, the depth of the shelf 22 of the second group G2, taken together with the depth of the support strip 30, when the support strip 30 is attached to a shelf 22 of the second group G2, will not exceed the depth of the shelf 21 of the first group G1 directly adjacent. Thus, the contents of the shelf 21 of the first group G1 directly adjacent will remain visible to an external user.

The choice of fixing the support strip 30 to a shelf of the second group 22 is advantageous because the support strip 30 then delimits two distinct zones by forming a clear border between the shelves 22 of the second group G2 and the shelves 21 of the first group G1.

The figures 5a, 5b and 5c gives an example of magnetic fixing. This binding comprises two magnets 32, for example magnets 32 capable of supporting a load the mass of which may be up to 50 kg. It is interesting to note that the support strip 30, or reading strip 30, is compatible with a label holder 33, 33 '. In other words, the support strip 30 does not hide or replace the traditional label holders 33, 33 'provided at the ends of the shelves 21, 22 of such cabinets (see figure 5c ).

On the figures 5a, 5b and 5c , as on figures 6 and 7 , the embodiments according to the invention present a support strip 30 inclined with respect to said plane (X, Y) so as to facilitate the reading of the first presentation of information 31 for an external user.

On entend par « coplanaire au plan (X, Y) », parallèle au plan (X, Y).By “coplanar with the plane (X, Y)”, parallel to the plane (X, Y) is meant.

The term “inclined with respect to the plane (X, Y)” is understood to mean an inclination in the plane (Y, Z) which is also that of the sheet. In other words, the version coplanar with the plane (X, Y) is a version which is orthogonal to the axis Z in said plane (Y, Z).

The figure 4 illustrates an exemplary embodiment in which the first group of shelves G1 comprises two shelves 21 and the second group of shelves G2 comprises four. In this example, again, the shelves 21, 22 are substantially coplanar with the plane (X, Y) of the orthonormal coordinate system.

Lesdits séparateurs 41 pourront servir à délimiter verticalement des zones de ventes ; on parle alors de joues séparatrices 41.Advantageously, the cabinet of the invention may comprise, as illustrated in this figure, separators 41 which extend along the Z direction of said orthonormal reference mark (X, Y, Z). Said separators 41 can be used to delimit the sales zones vertically; we then speak of separating cheeks 41.

Said separators 41 could also serve as a support for a second presentation of information 42. In this specific case, the presentations of information 42 will be oriented along the Z axis, vertically, and will protrude from the end of the separating cheeks. 41. These second information presentations 42 will therefore complement the first information presentations 31, for example to serve as a reading page. The separating cheeks 41, at the location of said second information presentations 42, may be derived from material with said information presentations 42 so as to form a single information separator / presenter panel.

The dividing cheeks 41 may also be used to hold the support strip 30 in position, in particular if the latter is not directly attached to a shelf 21, 22 as described above. The dividing cheeks 41 could also serve to reinforce the holding in position of the support strip 30, in collaboration with at least one of the attachments to a shelf 21, 22 as described above.

It is interesting to note that the separators 41, 42 could be made of plastic, for example of thermoplastic, transparent or opaque, such as polymethyl methacrylate.

On the other hand, as illustrated in figures 3 and 7 , the cabinet of the invention 10 may include at least one shelf 224 inclined relative to said plane (X, Y).

Considering that the orthogonal projection of said shelf 224 inclined in the plane (X, Y) has a length substantially equal to said second depth P2 and that it is located on the side of the zone delimited by the support strip 30 which comprises the shelves 22 of smaller depth (relative to the depth of the shelves 21 of the first group G1 of shelves 21), it will be considered that said inclined shelf 224 belongs to the second group of shelves.

Cela n'est pas limitatif. This is not limiting.

En effet, une dite étagère inclinée pourra aussi appartenir au premier groupe G1 d'étagères 21 car sa projection orthogonale dans le plan (X, Y) présente une longueur sensiblement égale à ladite seconde profondeur P1 et car elle se situe du côté de la zone délimitée par la bande de support 30 qui comprend les étagères 21 de plus grande profondeur (par rapport à la profondeur des étagères 22 du second groupe G2 d'étagères 22).Indeed, a said inclined shelf may also belong to the first group G1 of shelves 21 because its orthogonal projection in the plane (X, Y) has a length substantially equal to said second depth P1 and because it is located on the side of the zone delimited by the support strip 30 which comprises the shelves 21 of greater depth (relative to the depth of the shelves 22 of the second group G2 of shelves 22).

This inclined shelf 224, whether it belongs to the first or to the second group of shelves G1, G2, may be provided with a roller system facilitating the routing of the articles A that it carries towards the end of the shelf. which faces a user who is standing in front of the cabinet 10. Thus, the usable space for the storage of articles A in the cabinet 10 is optimized.

It is interesting to note that the shelves 21, 22 can be assembled to the frame structure of the cabinet 10 by any known means. For example, via the end of the shelves 21, 22 which is not visible to an external user, said end being hooked to a load bar (not shown here) on the bottom 11 of the cabinet 10 (see figure 5a ), or again, on uprights 11 'passing through this bottom 11 (see figure 5b ).

A fastening system with flaps can also be used, the flaps serving as brackets. Separate brackets can also be used, without departing from the scope of the invention.

L'armoire 10 de l'invention est réfrigérée.The cabinet 10 of the invention is refrigerated.

More precisely, the cabinet 10 of the invention is intended to keep said articles A cool.

The distance between the two groups of shelves G1, G2 of the cabinet 10, taken in combination with the presence of a reading strip 30 between these two groups of shelves G1, G2, will be advantageously adapted for cabinets 10 of which the width measured along the X axis is of the order of 40 cm, 60 cm, or 125 cm.
