Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'amélioration de la sécurité destiné à être utilisé avec un système de carte GPS de navigation qui peut afficher l'emplacement courant d'un véhicule qui comporte le système de navigation sur une carte générée par le système, le procédé avertissant d'un point d'intérêt d'approche sélectionné parmi un feu tricolore, une zone d'école ou un passage à niveau vers lequel le véhicule s'approche en affichant une icône du feu tricolore, d'une zone d'école ou d'un passage à niveau. L'affichage peut être limité lorsqu'un dispositif de communication sans fil dans le véhicule est en mode vocal actif.
