- the invention relates to a household appliance for drying laundry with a floor assembly.
- Evaporator or evaporator which extracts heat from the process air and thereby cools them. From the cooled process air condenses from her previously absorbed moisture.
- Liquid refrigerant in the evaporator of the heat pump absorbs heat (energy) from the process air, evaporates and is sucked out of the evaporator by a compressor (compressor).
- the compressor brings the refrigerant vapor to an elevated pressure and thus to a higher temperature and conveys it to a condenser or condenser (heating component of the heat pump).
- the refrigerant liquefies again under Release of heat to the process air coming from the evaporator.
- an expansion valve expansion valve
- the DE 10 2014 211 303 A1 discloses a tumble dryer designed laundry treating apparatus having a floor assembly.

- Each of the evaporator and the condenser is a heat exchanger having plates or lamellae spaced apart from each other to increase their heat exchange surfaces.
- the slats have different distances.
- heat exchangers with small fin spacings require a cleaning of the fins to ensure the heat exchanger performance permanently.
- the diffuser serves to apply a liquid to the fins of the heat exchanger.
- the distance between a rinsing gap of the diffuser and the leading edge of the heat exchanger to be cleaned must always be the same.
- the adjustment of the distance between the rinsing gap of the diffuser and the front edge of the heat exchanger is effected by a screw, wherein the screws for tolerance compensation of the position of the heat exchanger relative to the floor assembly are slidable in slots.
- Another approach is to pull or push the diffuser through positioning elements to the correct position relative to the heat exchanger. This is feasible with short tolerance chains, as they occur at the front heat exchanger. With long tolerance chains, as they can occur at the rear heat exchanger, the positioning of the diffuser relative to the front edge of the rear heat exchanger by pulling or pushing, can not be implemented.
- the risk of bypass formation between the rear heat exchanger and a rear contact surface increases in the receiving area when the rear heat exchanger must be stored floating in the floor assembly. This serves while Mounting the cover with the diffuser to ensure movement of the heat exchanger can.

Abstract
