Claims (8)
- Locking mechanism of a breech sleeve (2) of a firearm breech (1),
wherein a chamber (3) is provided at least partially enclosing a striker (4) and a striker spring (5), the striker spring (5) protruding therefrom,
characterized in that
the breech sleeve (2) at least partially encloses the chamber (3) and the protruding end (51) of the striker spring (5) is supported by the breech sleeve (2),
and in that the breech sleeve (2) can be removably placed against the chamber (3) by means of a locking device (6) positioned on the breech sleeve (2), said locking device being rotatable from a release position to a locking position,
wherein a protrusion (31) on the chamber (3) engages form-fittingly with a locking protrusion (61) on the locking device (6) when said protrusion is rotated in the locking position. - Locking mechanism according to claim 1,
characterized in that
the chamber (3) is biased against the locking protrusion (61) of the locking device (6) by means of the striker spring (5), which is supported on one hand by the breech sleeve (2) and on the other hand within the chamber. - Locking mechanism according to claim 1 or 2,

a retaining ring (10) is provided between the locking device (6) and the locking device recess (22), wherein said ring is positioned in a groove (62) on the locking device (6) and providing frictional contact between the locking device (6) and the locking device recess (22). - Locking mechanism according to any preceding claim,

the locking device (6) is designed symmetrically and there are two locking protrusions (61) with equal effect arranged opposite one another. - Locking mechanism according to any preceding claim,

the locking device (6) has an outwardly directed engagement groove (11), by means of which a tool to rotate the locking device (6) can be applied. - Locking mechanism according to any preceding claim,

an anti-rotation lock (8, 9) of the chamber (3) is provided in the breech sleeve (2), wherein a protrusion (8) formed at the breech sleeve (2) engages a corresponding recess (9) on the chamber (3) when the chamber (3) is inserted in the breech sleeve (2).
