Definitions
- the spring element of the flap element When removing the condensate water tank, the spring element of the flap element is relieved due to the lack of dead weight of the condensate water tank (especially without condensation), whereby the opening in the flap element between the condensate water tank shell and the cleaning line is released. As a result, the condensate can drain from the condensate water tank shell in the cleaning line. This ensures that the condensate water tank shell is automatically emptied when removing the condensate water tank.

Description
The present invention relates to a laundry care apparatus for drying laundry with a condensate water container for collecting the condensed water generated in the drying process from the wet laundry and a method for collecting and emptying produced during a drying process condensation of wet laundry in a laundry care device.
Usually, in laundry care appliances such as heat pump dryers or condensation dryers, heat exchangers with fine aluminum fins are usually installed. When filtering the lint from the process air usually no 100% filter effect can be achieved. A considerable part of the fluff therefore remains attached to the fins of the heat exchangers and thus causes over the life deteriorated condensation rate, whereby the overall performance of the device decreases over time. In order to counteract the deterioration of the performance with time, in some devices, a rinsing device is provided for rinsing a frontal area of an evaporator. In a self-cleaning process, which is carried out at each drying cycle, condensate is sprayed through the rinsing device on the frontal area of the evaporator for cleaning the fins. The rinse water used for rinsing the lamellae is thus previously collected condensation water, which is guided by the condensate water tank through a cleaning line and finally distributed on the lamellae with the aid of a diffuser. On the basis of the implementation of the self-cleaning process is thus prevented from accumulating lint on the slats.
The condensate not used for self-cleaning is collected in a condensate water tank during the drying of the wet laundry and stored until the user of the laundry care device emptied the container. The emptying of the condensate water tank is usually after the complete drying of the laundry. The size of the condensate water tank is limited for geometric reasons, which means that at higher loadings with laundry in the laundry care device comes to the fact that the existing volume in the condensate water tank is not sufficient to to store the entire accumulating condensation of a complete drying. Higher loads are, for example, loads of> 9 kg + 60% by mass of residual moisture in the laundry to be dried. Due to the lack of storage volume of condensed water in the condensate water tank, it may happen that during a drying process, the accumulating condensate can not be completely stored in the condensate water tank, so that ultimately a resulting residual moisture in the laundry to be dried remains with the result that the laundry not completely dried.
In view of these problems in the prior art, the object of the present invention is to provide a laundry-care apparatus and a method of operating a laundry-care appliance in which complete drying of laundry is improved. In particular, it is an object of the present invention to provide a laundry care apparatus which can completely store the condensate accumulating during drying.
These objects are achieved with a laundry care device and a method according to respective independent claim. Advantages and features of preferred and optional embodiments of the present invention will become apparent from the dependent claims, the following description and / or the accompanying drawings.
According to the proposal, the laundry-care appliance for drying laundry comprises a condensate-water container for collecting the condensed water generated during the drying process from the wet laundry. Furthermore, the laundry care device has a bottom group, which is connected via a container line for guiding the condensed water in the condensate water tank with this. The condensate water tank can be removed from a condensate water tank shell for emptying the condensate water tank and reinserted. According to the invention, the condensate water container shell has an additional buffer volume for receiving condensate, wherein the condensate water tank is connected via a flap element with a cleaning line, wherein the flap element has a spring element, which is relieved when removing the condensate water tank, so that the condensate water to empty the buffer storage volume The opening of the unloaded flap element drains through the cleaning line. In the present case, the laundry care appliance is, in particular, a dryer or washer-dryer, for example a heat pump dryer or a condensation dryer. The laundry care appliance comprises, inter alia, the laundry drum in which the moist laundry to be dried is arranged. Furthermore, the floor group z. B. a condensed water pump, valves, a lint filter, an air blower, etc. Between the bottom group and the condensate water tank, a tank line is arranged, via which the condensation can be passed, for example via the condensate pump from the bottom group in the condensate water tank. The condensate water tank as such is stored in a condensate water tank shell, from which the condensate water tank can be removed and reinserted. The condensate water tank shell has an additional storage volume to a condensate water tank volume of the condensate water tank, in which condensate can be stored, especially when the condensate water tank is already filled as such with condensed water. The condensate water tank shell is z. B. is given by a recess in the housing of the laundry care device. The condensate water tank is at least partially inserted into the condensate water tank shell, wherein the additional buffer storage volume is given by a region of the recess, which is not taken by inserting the condensate water tank of this. Consequently, when a maximum storage volume of the condensate water tank is reached, condensed water to be stored can be stored in the additional buffer storage volume of the condensate water tank shell. This has the advantage that the Condensation, which is obtained in a complete drying, and can be completely absorbed by the laundry care device, in particular in the receiving volume of the condensate water tank and the condensate water tank shell. As a result, the whereabouts of residual moisture in the laundry to be dried can be avoided.
There is a fluid connection between the container line and the condensate water container shell, via which, especially when a threshold value is exceeded, condensate water flows from the container line directly or via the condensate water container into the condensate water container shell. If a maximum receiving volume of the condensate water tank is reached, then, according to one embodiment, condensation water from the tank line can flow directly into the condensate water tray.
According to a further embodiment, it is also conceivable that condensation water flows from the condensate water tank into the condensate water tank shell, so that the condensed water in the tank pipe can flow into the condensate water tank. For both embodiments, respectively, in particular electromechanical, valves are provided which can be controlled via a controller. The valves each have a state in which the condensed water can pass through the valves (open state), and a state in which the condensed water can not pass through the valves (closed state). The condensate water tank shell is filled with condensation water when a threshold in the condensate water tank is exceeded. The threshold value corresponds to a predetermined receiving volume of the condensed water or a predetermined condensed water weight. This has the advantage that a filling of the condensate water tank shell takes place automatically and only after the condensate water tank is filled with condensate maximum.
In an inserted state of the condensate water tank, between the condensate water tank and the condensate water tank shell, there is preferably a fluid connection via which condensate water flows out of the condensate water tank into the condensate water tank shell when a threshold value is exceeded. When removing the condensate water tank, the fluid connection between the condensate water tank and the condensate water tank shell is interrupted, so that no condensation water from the condensate water tank can escape during removal unwanted. For closing the fluid connection, for example, a valve or a resealable membrane or the like may be provided for this purpose. In the case of a membrane, this could be reversibly pierceable and reclosable with a hollow cylinder piece in the inserted state of the condensate water tank. As a result, in the inserted state of the condensate water tank, the fluid connection between the condensate water tank and the condensate water tank shell can be established.
The threshold value corresponds to a, in particular maximum, condensed water weight, which can be absorbed by the condensate water tank, in particular maximum. It is conceivable that the fluid connection between the condensate water tank and the condensate water tank shell in the inserted state by an actuator based on the already accumulated condensed water weight in the condensate water tank is adjustable, in particular automatically adjustable. Preferably, the threshold is in a range of 2 kg to 6 kg of condensed water. Upon reaching the threshold value of the actuator is thus switched, so that a fluid connection between the condensate water tank and the condensate water tank shell is formed. The actuator can be controlled purely mechanically or electromechanically. This allows an automatic or quasi-automatic filling of the condensate water tank shell. The term "maximum" is to be understood in the present case that the condensate water tank provides a receiving volume, which allows a maximum absorption of condensate. The maximum condensed water thus has a maximum condensed water volume and / or a maximum condensed water weight.
According to one embodiment, the condensate water tank, in particular via a flap element, connected to a cleaning line. Via the cleaning line, condensation water from the condensate water tank shell can be conducted via the cleaning line into a flushing device during a drying process or after a drying process, which cleans the lamellae of an evaporator of lint. This has the advantage that a self-cleaning process can be carried out with the previously collected condensation water. According to one exemplary embodiment, the flap element has a spring element which is relieved when the condensate water tank is removed, so that the condensed water is discharged to empty the buffer tank volume flows through an opening in the relieved flap element through the cleaning line. When removing the condensate water tank, the spring element of the flap element is relieved due to the lack of dead weight of the condensate water tank (especially without condensation), whereby the opening in the flap element between the condensate water tank shell and the cleaning line is released. As a result, the condensate can drain from the condensate water tank shell in the cleaning line. This ensures that the condensate water tank shell is automatically emptied when removing the condensate water tank.
Further, the condensate water tank shell is in advantageous embodiments with a return line for returning the condensed water in the bottom group, in particular in a previously made maximum condensation in the condensate water tank shell, in fluid communication. In the event that the condensate water tank shell is also already full of condensation, condensation can be returned to the floor assembly via the return line. This has the advantage that within the laundry care device there is always a condensate water circulation over which the condensate can be distributed within the laundry care device. This avoids that the condensate water tank or the condensate water tank shell are destroyed by the condensation, or that the condensation can not escape from the wet laundry.
The return line preferably has a return line wall which extends from a bottom of the condensate water container shell into the condensate water container shell. Only when a condensed water level is greater than the extent of the return line wall is a return of the condensate water via the return line, the return running in particular automatically. The return line wall thus defines a possible maximum receiving volume of the condensate water tank shell. The longer the return line wall extends into the condensate water tank shell, the larger the receiving volume of the condensate water tank shell. The maximum receiving volume of the condensate water tank shell is proportional to a base area of the condensate water tank shell times a length of the extension of the return line wall into the condensate water tank shell inside. As a result, an automatic return of the condensed water via the return line is realized in a simple manner, if a maximum receiving volume is reached by condensation in the condensate water tank shell, in particular without further aids.
According to a preferred embodiment of the laundry care device, the flap element comprises a deflectable flap for emptying the buffer storage volume. Preferably, the deflectable flap via an actuator, in particular a solenoid, deflected. In particular, the deflectable flap for emptying can be opened or closed, wherein the actuator, in particular the solenoid, can be controlled via a controller. The actuator, in particular the solenoid, can be controlled electrically or electromechanically via the controller. The controllable via the actuator deflectable flap can release condensation during operation of the drying for an internal flushing of the evaporator. The condensate for purging the evaporator is released in particular from the condensate water tank shell. The actuator, in particular the solenoid, is attached to the condensate water tank shell with at least one fastening means and communicates by means of an electrical contact with the controller. If the controller controls the actuator, the deflectable flap can be opened so that condensation water can escape from the buffer volume into the cleaning line.
In the embodiment with the deflectable flap can be dispensed with, for example, a return line. The embodiment with the deflectable flap can thus be understood as an alternative embodiment or as a supplementary embodiment, as can be dispensed with a return line, but not necessarily.
A further aspect of the present invention relates to a method for collecting and subsequently emptying condensation water from wet laundry produced in a drying process in a laundry care appliance. In this case, the laundry care device has a bottom group, which is connected via a container line for guiding the condensed water in a condensate water tank. The condensate water tank can be removed and reinserted in a condensate water tank shell for emptying the condensate water tank. According to the proposed method, the condensed water is passed into an additional buffer storage volume of the condensate water tank shell, in particular after a maximum absorption of condensate in the condensate water tank. In particular, according to the proposed method Condensate water is directed into the condensate water tank shell, if it has been determined by the sensor-coupled control that the condensate water tank has already absorbed a maximum volume of condensate. The condensation water still accumulating during drying can consequently be stored completely within the laundry care appliance, so that the laundry to be dried can be completely dried. An emptying of the condensate water tank shell via an opening in a flap element, wherein the flap member has a spring element, so that when removing the condensate water tank, the flap element is relieved and the opening for the condensate releases and the condensate drains through a cleaning line from the condensate water tank shell. Upon removal of the condensate water tank after a drying process, this automatically empties the buffer storage volume of the condensate water tank shell, in which the condensed water collected in the condensate water tank shell flows into the cleaning pipe.
As proposed in the method, an opening in a flap element is opened via a deflectable flap for emptying the condensate water tank shell, so that the flap opening releases the condensation and the condensate flows through the cleaning line from the condensate water tank shell. An effluent condensate over a deflectable flap can be understood as an alternative embodiment of the method or as a supplementary embodiment of the method. The deflectable flap may thus be present alone or in addition to the opening in the flap element. The opening via the deflectable flap takes place in particular during a drying process, while the outflow of the condensed water via the opening in the flap element preferably takes place after a drying process when the condensate water tank has been removed from the laundry care device.
Preferably, the deflectable flap with an electrically controllable actuator, in particular lifting magnet, electromechanically or electrically coupled. The deflectable flap is controlled electrically or electromechanically via a controller, in particular the control takes place during a drying process. By controlling the deflectable flap during a drying process, condensed water is passed through a cleaning line in a flushing device, which is the condensed water distributed on the fins of the evaporator, to flush them. As a result, the performance of the laundry care device can be maintained long term, since it is avoided that the evaporator is filled with lint over time.
Preferably, the condensate water tank shell is in fluid communication with a return line for returning the condensed water into the floor pan. Furthermore, the return line has a return line wall which extends from a bottom of the condensate water container shell into the condensate water container shell. When the condensed water level exceeds the extent of the return line wall, condensate flows back through the return line, in particular automatically. The maximum receiving volume of the condensate water tank shell is therefore proportional to the finite extent of the return line wall. The return via the return line takes place automatically, without an additional actuator or a valve or the like would have to be switched.
