Description

The invention relates to a closure element for a building opening, with a glass element which is held by a frame which is formed from a plurality of hollow chamber profiles, the hollow chamber profiles each having a first profile part in which a glass rebate is formed for receiving the glass element, and a second profile part , which is designed as a glass retaining strip, and wherein the second profile part is connected on an outside of the closure element to the first profile part, for which purpose the first profile part has a first connecting element which interacts with a second connecting element of the second profile part.

Systems in which glass is used from the outside have been known for a few years. In most systems, the edge bond, which is not UV-stable due to the cheaper and technically better adhesives, is covered by a profile or a seal. Varnishes are rarely applied to the glass to protect the glue point.

The document EP 2 138 666 A2 shows a glazing bead which is connected to the profile frame on an outside of the closure element. The glazing bead has a support web in the area of the glazing rebate.

The document FR 2 719 336 A1 has a glazing bead with a supporting web in the area of the glazing rebate. The glazing bead additionally has a connecting web which engages in a groove in the profile frame. A resilient profile web running almost parallel to the connecting web presses the connecting web against the profile frame.

The use of glass retaining strips, as is common when inserting the glass on the inside (as on the room side), is problematic for hollow chamber profiles, since the profiles are very narrow on the outside due to the fold formation in the area of the stop between the sash and window frame, and only an inclusion of glass strips could be made very thin or narrow.

In order to be able to form an exact miter in all temperature ranges which act on the window, the glazing beads must be pressed against each other with pressure become. The required pressure becomes so high at appropriate temperatures that the connection of the wing miter with the narrow outer profile cross sections on the outside would be damaged.

It is therefore the object of the invention to provide an improved possibility for arranging an outer glazing bead in or on a closure element for a building opening.

The object is achieved in the above-mentioned closure element for a building opening by a closure element having the features of claim 1. With the support web it can be better prevented that the connection between the first and the second profile part is loosened even at lower, acting pressures. However, it is still possible to detach the second profile part from the first profile part, for example in order to replace the glass element, since this support web has a wall thickness which permits targeted deformation. Even with usual (positive) changes in length due to temperature fluctuations, the connection is not released. Since the support web rests only on the first profile part, even if with a certain pretension, the deformation is not hindered by the change in length, but the deformation is introduced into the hollow chamber profile per se via the first connecting element of the first profile part and is taken up by the latter. This in turn can better prevent the miter opening in the corner areas.

It is provided according to the invention that a resilient profile web connects to the second connecting element of the second profile part, which is inserted into a groove of the first profile part and is pressed against the first connecting element of the first profile part via the second connecting element. It is thereby achieved that the second profile part is pressed against the glass element in a sealing manner or with the formation of a gap with a predefinable gap size for improved bonding with the glass element.

According to a further embodiment variant of the closure element, it can be provided that the first connecting element of the first profile part is formed on a profile web which forms part of the glass rebate. It can thus be achieved that the first connecting element is in engagement with the second connecting element from the side of the glass element, that is to say, for example, in the case of the lower hollow chamber profile, the first connecting element from above with the lower connecting element of the second profile part in relation thereto Can be connected, whereby the secure mounting of the second profile element part on the first profile element part and the pressure build-up can be improved.

It can also be provided that the support web of the second profile part is pressed against the first profile part at least in the corner regions of the frame with an expansion element. With this additional expansion element, the pretensioned arrangement of the expansion element on the first profile part and thus also the security against detachment of the second profile part from the first profile part can be improved. This advantage is particularly evident when the temperature is below zero, i.e. when the profile parts are shortened.

It is preferably provided that the second profile part has two projections, each projecting inwards, the spreading element being arranged between these two projections. A relatively high pretensioning of the support web can thus be achieved even with a slight expansion of the second profile part caused by the expansion element. A slight widening of the second profile part, which can also be limited only to the area of the support web, can thus also bring about the improved prestressing.

The spreading element is preferably designed as a connecting element with which two second profile parts abutting one another in the corner region are connected to one another. As a result, in addition to the expansion of the second profile part, the opening of the miter region of the closure element can also be better prevented in the case of negative changes in length than at lower temperatures.

In the case of the design of the closure element 1 as fixed glazing, this has no casement 2 but only the frame 3.

Furthermore, the closure element 1 comprises a glass element 4 which is held in the casement 3 or in the case of fixed glazing in the frame 3 in the region of its outer circumference.

In the following, only one framework is addressed. Depending on the variant of the closure element 1 as an openable element or as fixed glazing, the frame means the casement 2 or the frame 3.

In addition, the closure element 1 has various fittings 5, such as a window handle or swivel fittings, etc.

The frame consists of several interconnected hollow chamber profiles 6 to 9, namely two vertical hollow chamber profiles 6, 8 and two horizontal hollow chamber profiles 7, 9. For connecting the hollow chamber profiles 6 to 9, two of the hollow chamber profiles 6 to 9 can be glued to one another in the corner regions or in particular to one another be welded. In particular, the corner areas are mitred, but can also be designed to abut one another at right angles.

A heat insulation element and / or a stiffening element can be arranged in at least one of the hollow chambers of the hollow chamber profiles 6 to 9.

Since such designs of window elements 1 are known from the prior art, reference is made to the relevant prior art in order to avoid repetitions in terms of details.

In Fig. 2 An embodiment variant of the hollow chamber profile 7 is shown. It should be pointed out that preferably all hollow chamber profiles 6 to 9 are of identical design.

The hollow chamber profile 7 has a first profile part 10 and a second profile part 11 or consists of these. In the first profile part 10, an outwardly open glass fold 12 for receiving the glass element 4 is formed. This is delimited by an at least approximately horizontal surface 13 and an at least approximately vertical surface 14 of the first profile part 10. The second profile part 11 is designed as a so-called glazing bead. Both the first and the second profile part 10, 11 have at least one hollow chamber 15. Furthermore, the first profile part 10 is preferably formed in one piece.

The two profile parts 10, 11 are formed in particular from plastic, preferably PVC.

The second profile part 11 is mounted on the first profile part 10 from the outside, that is to say it is arranged on a closure element outer side 16. The closure element outer side 16 is that side of the closure element 1 which, in the installed state, faces away from the space behind the closure element 1, that is to say faces the ambient atmosphere.

For the connection of the two profile parts 10, 11 to one another, the first profile part has a first connecting element 17 and the second profile part 11 has a second connecting element 18 which interacts with the first connecting element 17.

In the in Fig. 2 Specifically shown embodiment variant of the hollow chamber profile 7, the first connecting element 17 is preferably hook-shaped. In particular, the first profile part 10 has a profile web 19 pointing in the direction of the closure element outer side 16, which is preferably arranged at least approximately at right angles to the second profile part 11. At its free end, this profile web 19 is angled to form the hook shape, preferably by forming an at least approximately right angle. Transitional areas between the two profile web parts forming the bend can be chamfered or beveled.

The second connecting element 18 of the second profile part 11 is preferably groove-shaped in order to be able to receive the, preferably hook-shaped, first connecting element 17 of the first profile part 10 in this groove-shaped recess. In the assembled state of the hollow chamber profile 7, the preferably hook-shaped profile web 19 can rest with its hook-shaped end on a groove side wall 20.

The hook-shaped profile web 19 is preferably designed to be rigid only in the pulling direction.

The second connecting element 18 is formed in particular in an end region of the second profile part 11, which lies below the glass rebate 12 when the second profile part 11 is mounted on the first profile part 10.

The first and the second connecting element 17, 18 can also be designed differently, provided that the second profile part 11 is designed to be releasably connectable to the first profile part 10, as is the case with the variant of the hollow chamber profile 7 described above.

For better fixation of the second profile part 11 to the first profile part 10, it is provided that the second profile part 11 has a support web 21. The support web 21 lies against the first profile part 10 in the region of the glass rebate 12 when the second profile part 11 is mounted on the first profile part 10, as shown in FIG Fig. 2 is shown. In particular, the support web 21 bears in the region of the first connecting element 17, that is to say preferably on the hook-shaped profile web 19. The arrangement of the support web 21 is in particular such that the profile web 19 or the region of the first profile part 10 that forms the first connection element 17 has, is arranged directly between the support web 21 and the second connecting element 18 of the second profile part 11 when the second profile part 11 is attached to the first profile part 10.

In the preferred embodiment variant of the closure element 1, the support web 21 is angled with an inclination in the direction of or into the hollow chamber 15 of the second profile part 11, as shown in FIG Fig. 2 can be seen. It is further preferred if this support web 21 is designed as a spring web, that is to say that it yields to a predefinable size when subjected to a mechanical load, since the mountability and demountability of the second profile part 11 on or from the first profile part 10 can thereby be improved. It is also preferred if the support web 21 is on a horizontal surface (based on the illustration in FIG Fig. 2 ), which lies in particular in the plane of the glass rebate 12, abuts the first profile part 10.

According to the invention, a resilient profile web 22, which is pushed into a groove 23 of the first profile part 10 and adjoins the second connecting element 18 of the second profile part 11, that is to say deflectable from its rest position into another position when subjected to a mechanical load of a predefinable size, and via which the second connecting element 18 is pressed against the first connecting element 17 of the first profile part 10.

The resilient profile web 22 preferably has an angled portion 24, which is in particular configured such that the two web parts of the profiled web 22, which form this angled portion 24, are at an obtuse angle 25 to one another. The free end region of this angled profile web 22 is preferably received in a region of the groove 23 in the first profile part 10 which has a smaller cross-sectional area than the rest of the groove 23. It can further be provided that the free end region of the resilient profile web 22 in the direction is arranged extending on the glass rebate 12. However, it is also possible for the free end region of the resilient profile web 22 to run at least approximately horizontally (based on the illustration in FIG Fig. 2 ) or extending in the direction away from the glass rebate 12 in the first profile part 10.

The resilient profile web 22 forms in particular a part of the second connecting element 18 of the second profile part 11. In the in Fig. 2 In the embodiment variant shown, the resilient profile web forms at least part of the side wall of the groove on its end region facing away from the free end for receiving the hook-shaped first connecting element 17 of the first profile part 10. An end face of the side wall of this groove is preferably bevelled, as is shown in FIG Fig. 2 is shown. The free end region of the hook-shaped first connecting element 17 of the first profile part 10 can also be provided with a bevel 27 which is inclined in the same direction as the said beveled end face 26. In particular, both this beveled end face 26 and the bevel 27 have the same angle of inclination against the plane of the glass rebate 12.

The chamfer 27 and the chamfered end face 26 make it easier to insert the second profile part 11 into the first profile part 10 by inserting the resilient profile web 22 of the second profile part 11 into the groove 23 of the first profile part 10, the chamfered end face 26 on the chamfer 27 can slide. This continues until the first connecting element 17 of the first profile part 10 comes into engagement with the second connecting element 18 of the second profile part 11 and thus the connection of the two profile parts 10, 11 is established with one another, that is to say the two, in particular the hook-shaped profile web 19 in the groove of the second profile part 11 snaps. By the support web 21 resting on the first connecting element 17, that is to say in particular the hook-shaped profile web 19, the unintentional removal of the second profile part 11 from the first profile part 10 can be better prevented, since the first connecting element 17 thus counteracts the second connecting element 18 is pressed, in particular it is prevented that the hook-shaped end region of the hook-shaped profile web 19 slips out of the groove of the second profile part 11. However, the intended separation is still possible with a correspondingly higher application of force and due to the spring-like corresponding parts of the two profile parts 10, 11.

In the assembled state, the second profile part 1 rests with an end region on the glass element 4, possibly with the interposition of an adhesive bond or a sealing lip.

According to another embodiment variant of the closure element 1, it can be provided that the first connecting element 17 of the first profile part 10 is formed on a profile web which forms part of the glass rebate 12, as shown in FIG Fig. 2 is shown.

In order to increase the pretension of the support web 21 against the first profile element 10, it can be provided that it is pressed against the first profile part 10 at least in the corner regions of the frame of the closure element 1 with a spreading element 28. The cross section of the hollow chamber 15 in the second profile part 11 is widened by the expansion element 28 in the region of the support web 21, in particular in the region where the support web 21 is connected to the remaining part of the second profile part 11.

In order to simplify this widening or to be able to use a smaller expansion element 28, it can be provided that the second profile part 11 has two projections 29 each projecting inwards into the hollow chamber 15, the expansion element 28 being arranged between these two projections 29 or . becomes. The expansion element 28 has a correspondingly larger dimension than the distance between the two projections 29, viewed in the same direction in each case.

The expansion element 28 is preferably designed as a connecting element, in particular as a screw. The insertion of the expansion element 28 into the second profile part 11 can thus be simplified. In this case, the two projections 29 can also be designed as so-called screw tabs.

In the case of the expansion element 18 being designed as a connecting element, it can further be provided that two second profile parts 11 of the frame of the closure element 1, which abut one another in the corner region, are connected to one another.

It can further be provided that in the corner areas in which the hollow chamber profiles 6 to 9 connect to one another and are in particular connected to one another, the first connecting elements 17, that is to say in particular the hook-shaped profile webs 19, are milled or generally shortened. As a result of the shorter length of the first connecting element 17, based on the length of the first profile part 10 at the same height, in addition to improved mobility of the profile parts 10, 11 to absorb changes in length due to temperature fluctuations, ventilation and / or drainage of the glass rebate 12 is also possible can be achieved.

For the sake of completeness, it should be noted that the glass element 4 is inserted and in particular glued into the first profile parts 10, which are in particular already assembled to form the frame and connected to one another, before the second profile parts 11 are attached to the first profile parts 10.

The closure element 1 has the advantage, inter alia, that when the glass element 4 is replaced, for example as a result of glass breakage, the space behind the closure element 1 does not have to be entered, since the second profile parts 10 can be separated from the outside from the first profile parts 10 ,

The exemplary embodiments show possible or describe design variants of the closure element 1, it being noted at this point that various combinations of the individual design variants with one another are also possible.

For the sake of order, it should finally be pointed out that, for a better understanding of the structure of the closure element 1 or of the first and second profile parts 10, 11, these have not necessarily been shown to scale.
