Description

The invention relates to a closure arrangement for covering open containers with a liquid therein, in particular for covering swimming pools, which comprises at least two base elements, the base element having a hollow chamber, at least one base element having one of its long sides with an opposite long side of an adjacent one Base element is movably connected at least in sections via at least one connecting means and has at least one connecting device on the longitudinal side opposite the longitudinal side connected to the connecting means.

Closure arrangements of this type for covering open containers with a liquid therein are described in the prior art.
For example, the DE 196 46 117 C1 a solar roller shutter for swimming pool covers, in which each roller shutter rod has a number of closed chambers (hollow chambers), a coupling web with a T-shaped cross-section and a slot-like opening that accommodates the coupling web, and each roller shutter rod is made of transparent plastic on its top and its Underside is coated with dark color or colored through. These roller shutter slats are expensive to manufacture, in particular due to the different coating or coloring of individual components.
Another disadvantage of these roller shutter slats and the swimming pool covers to be produced from them is that at least the two hollow chambers at the free ends of each roller shutter slat are to be closed in a liquid-tight manner, so that the swimming pool cover can only fulfill its function.
Another disadvantage of this swimming pool cover is that when the coupling web is inserted into the receiving chamber, which is required to produce a swimming pool cover, this connection must be additionally secured against longitudinal displacements of the individual roller shutter bars.

Another closure arrangement for covering open containers with a liquid therein is, for example, in FIG DE 195 08 953 C1 described. This hollow body made of metal or plastic with at least one axial chamber partition and a watertight closure, which consists of a cap provided with filling and venting openings, which has positively insertable plugs in each chamber of the hollow body, at which a distance filling the cross section of the respective chamber Piston plate is attached and in which the cavity located between the piston plate and cap is filled with a permanently elastic filler, preferably on a plastic basis, wherein in the cap at least one overflow channel leading over the chamber partition is provided for the filler. The hollow body is designed as a roller shutter profile and should be assembled to form a swimming pool cover that rests on the water surface.

The disadvantage here is that each individual hollow chamber of a roller shutter slat is to be provided with a sealing device which has a special geometry, which here consists of a piston plate and a permanently elastic substance to be filled in from the outside.

In this embodiment, such a swimming pool cover is extremely costly to manufacture the roller shutter profiles and in particular in the manufacture of individual roller shutter slats which are to be closed liquid-tight at their two free ends and to be joined together to form a swimming pool cover.

Another disadvantage of the solutions in the known prior art is the fact that when the swimming pool covers are used as intended, it cannot be ruled out that the sealing end caps of individual roller shutter slats are not completely leakproof, and so the hollow chambers of individual roller shutter slats are filled with liquid and the swimming pool cover is not more floating on the surface.

The FR 2747717 discloses a closure arrangement for covering open containers with a liquid therein, in particular for covering swimming pools, which comprises at least two base elements, the base element having at least one hollow chamber, at least one base element having one of its longitudinal sides with an opposite longitudinal side of an adjacent base element is movably connected at least in sections via at least one connecting means and has at least one connecting device on the longitudinal side opposite the longitudinal side connected to the connecting means, the hollow chamber of the base element having a material whose density is between 0.01 and 0.7 g / cm 3 is and at least one receiving opening receiving a fixing element is arranged on at least one connecting device of the base element. Furthermore, it is disclosed that the hollow chamber is completely filled with a core, for example made of cellular foam, and that the base element has a hollow chamber which is open from below and in which a core made of a foam is arranged such that it is held only on its side surfaces with the liquid can come into contact. The base element is produced in the coextrusion process, ie both the base element and the core are made of a foam and are made of materials with different densities.

The US 4,577,352 A _ also shows a closure arrangement for covering open containers with a liquid therein. Here, the base elements are designed as profiles with hollow chambers, which are rotatably connected to one another via connecting means and that, for example, an element can be introduced into the hollow chambers, which is made of a foam material or an elastic material, so that it is pressed into the hollow chambers , seals them tightly. It is further disclosed that a closure arrangement can be introduced on the end faces of the base elements in such a way that it fixes both the hollow chambers via the sealing elements and the connecting elements of the base element via a fixing element which is arranged on the end cap.

The DE 2756738 A1 Also disclosed is a closure arrangement for covering open containers with a liquid therein, which has at least two base elements, the base element having at least one hollow chamber in which a strip or a strip of foamed plastic material having a lower specific weight is introduced, which improves the buoyancy of the Ensures cover on the water and that plug-in plugs are provided at the free ends of each profile element in the ends, which are to prevent axial adjustment movements of the profile elements. In this example, the hollow chamber is designed as a recess which is open on the underside of the profile elements.

The US2010 / 154110 A1 discloses a closure arrangement for covering open containers, which has at least two base elements, which in turn have a hollow chamber in which a foam is arranged.

This is where the invention comes in, which has the object of overcoming the disadvantages of the known prior art and of showing a closure arrangement for covering open containers with a liquid therein, in particular for covering swimming pools, which can be produced both economically and inexpensively is, as well as when used as intended for covering swimming pools has no leaks in the individual elements and which has a visually appealing appearance with full functionality and which absorbs almost no liquid.

According to the invention, this object is achieved by the features of claim 1. Further advantageous configurations are described in the subclaims.

It has surprisingly been found that a closure arrangement for covering open containers with a liquid therein, in particular for covering swimming pools, which comprises at least two base elements, the base element having a hollow chamber, at least one base element having one of its longitudinal sides with one of these opposite longitudinal side of an adjacent base element is at least partially movably connected via at least one connecting means and on the longitudinal side opposite the longitudinal side connected to the connecting means has at least one connecting device, the hollow chamber of the base element has a material whose density is between 0.01 and 0.7 g / cm 3 measured according to DIN 1183 is that at least one receiving opening receiving a fixing element is arranged on at least one connecting device of the base element, characterized in that the Ohlkammer the base element arranged material is arranged at least a distance from the wall surrounding the hollow chamber spaced. The closure arrangement according to the invention can thus be made available in several different colors economically and inexpensively due to the coloring of the spacer layer and / or the base element. The closure arrangement according to the invention thus has a higher buoyancy when used as intended and can thus be used as a cost-effective and visually appealing closure arrangement for already installed, leaky swimming pool covers made of hollow chamber profiles with lateral sealing elements.
It has also proven to be advantageous that the material arranged in the hollow chamber of the base element is selected from, preferably polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyurethane (PU), acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS), polystyrene (PS), acrylic ester Styrene-acrylonitrile (ASA), polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polycarbonate (PC), polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) or their copolymers. In addition to the economical and inexpensive manufacture of the base elements forming the closure arrangement according to the invention, this also ensures their floatability.
A further advantage of the closure arrangement according to the invention is that, on the one hand, a certain insulating effect can be achieved for the largely heated liquids located under the closure arrangement according to the invention, and on the other hand that extreme weather influences such as hail in particular, the closure arrangement according to the invention is designed such that no holes can be realized in the individual base elements by hailstones breaking through.
Another advantage of the closure arrangement according to the invention is in particular that, surprisingly, when used as intended, it has a thermal conductivity of about 0.037 W / km according to the HOT DISK method according to ISO 22007.

The closure arrangement according to the invention can be designed in such a way that the material of the base element has a transmittance of at least 80% measured according to ISO 13468-2 over its thickness for visible light. The material arranged in the hollow chamber of the base element can have a dark color, in particular black.

It has proven advantageous that the receiving opening of the connecting device is arranged approximately parallel to the long side of the base element. This enables an economical and inexpensive manufacture of the base elements forming the closure arrangement.

It has also turned out to be advantageous that the receiving opening of the connecting device is arranged opposite the hollow chamber of the base element. As a result, a closure arrangement according to the invention can be provided in which the base elements forming the closure arrangement according to the invention are secured against possible longitudinal displacements.

A likewise advantageous embodiment of the closure arrangement according to the invention is designed such that the receiving opening of the connecting device is arranged approximately opposite the receiving opening of the base element. This has the advantage that the connected base elements are at least partially covered and that they are also secured against displacement against one another.

Another advantage of the closure arrangement according to the invention is that the fixing element is connected to the base element in a force-locking and / or material-locking manner. As a result, a closure arrangement according to the invention can be made available which can be adapted very quickly and easily to the different geometries of swimming pools on site and in which the assembly of the individual basic elements to form a closure arrangement according to the invention and its fixing, in particular against possible longitudinal displacements, is possible in a simple and tool-free manner . Another advantage is that in the case of a non-positive connection, individual base elements can be exchanged without any problems, particularly in the event of damage.

However, it is also within the scope of the invention that the closure arrangement according to the invention, in the case of increased requirements for stability or certain national safety regulations, is designed such that the fixing element is integrally connected to the base element via known adhesive systems.

It has also been found to be advantageous that the fixing element has a base and at least one insertion element. Such a fixing element can also be produced inexpensively and economically, for example in the injection molding process but also in so-called 3D printing.

Another advantage of the closure arrangement according to the invention is that the insertion element of the fixing element is in operative connection with the receiving opening of the base elements. In the case of the closure arrangement according to the invention, the insertion element is designed such that it can be assembled from individual base elements to form a closure arrangement according to the invention with little effort and without tools.

The closure arrangement according to the invention is also advantageously designed such that the fixing element has at least one support element at its base. This support element of the fixing element is designed such that it leads to a further and better and correct fixing of the fixing element in the base element and to a security against rotation when installed via the insertion element in the receiving opening of the base elements when the locking arrangement according to the invention is used as intended. The base of the fixing element is advantageously designed such that it has a base area which corresponds approximately to the base area of the base profile.

It has also proven to be advantageous that the base elements made of a polymeric material, preferably polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyurethane (PU), acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS), polystyrene (PS), acrylic ester-styrene-acrylonitrile (ASA ), Polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polycarbonate (PC), polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) or their copolymers. In addition to the economical and cost-effective production of the base elements forming the closure arrangement according to the invention, in addition to the floatability of the polymeric materials, the freedom from corrosion should also be mentioned as an advantage.

The base elements of the closure arrangement according to the invention are designed such that they have a wall thickness in the range from approximately 0.05 to 5.0 mm, preferably 0.1 to 2.5 mm. As a result, the base elements forming the closure arrangement according to the invention can advantageously be produced economically and inexpensively.

The closure arrangement according to the invention is further characterized in that the base element is approximately polygonal, prismatic, round, oval, elliptical and the like in cross section. In this advantageous embodiment of the closure arrangement according to the invention, a wide variety of basic elements which form the closure arrangement according to the invention can be made available economically and inexpensively.

Another advantage of the closure arrangement according to the invention is that the material arranged in the hollow chamber of the base element is arranged cohesively over the spacer layer itself with the wall surrounding the hollow chamber. Here, the spacer layer can be designed as an adhesive system known per se.
The material of the spacer layer is selected from the group of polyamides (PA); polyurethanes (PUR), polyolefins, especially polyethylene (PE); amorphous polyalphaolefins (APAO); the styrene or, styrene-butylene copolymers; the thermoplastic elastomers (TPE), in particular the thermoplastic elastomers based on urethane (TPE-U), the thermoplastic copolyamides (TPE-A), the thermoplastic polyester elastomers (TPE-E); of ethylene vinyl acetate copolymers (EVAC) and the like.

It has also been found to be advantageous in the closure arrangement according to the invention that the spacer layer has a thickness of approximately 0.05 mm to approximately 5 mm, preferably 0.05 to approximately 1.5 mm.

In a likewise advantageous embodiment of the closure arrangement according to the invention, at least one base element has at least one light element such as LED lights and the like, which give the closure arrangement according to the invention an optically appealing design and additional functionalities. These light elements can both be incorporated in the manufacturing process of the base elements forming the closure arrangement according to the invention, and can also be subsequently and quickly attached to the closure arrangement.

However, it is also within the scope of the invention for the closure arrangement according to the invention that at least one base element has at least one sensor element, such as, for example, temperature measurement sensors, light sensors, water composition sensors, length measurement sensors, position sensors, distance sensors and the like, which give the closure arrangement according to the invention new functionalities without the intended use thereof Overall use is restricted or reduced.
On the one hand, these sensor elements can be introduced or attached in the manufacturing process of the base elements forming the closure arrangement according to the invention, on the other hand, however, it is also possible to subsequently integrate them into the closure arrangement according to the invention.

The invention will now be described in more detail using these non-limiting exemplary embodiments.

Furthermore, the closure arrangement 1 according to the invention is designed such that at least one receiving opening, which receives a fixing element 7, is arranged on the connecting device 4 of the base element 2 and is concealed by the fixing element 7 in this embodiment.
The fixing element arranged at the free ends of the base elements 2 of the closure arrangement 1 according to the invention is advantageously designed and dimensioned such that when the closure arrangement 1 according to the invention is used as intended, in particular for covering swimming pools, over the entire surface of the closure arrangement 1 according to the invention as a spacer from the edge of the area to be covered Swimming pool acts. It can thus advantageously be avoided that the free ends of the base elements 2 of the closure arrangement 1 according to the invention come into direct contact with the edge of the swimming pool, for example.

In the Fig. 2 is a perspective detailed view of a closure arrangement 1 according to the invention for covering open containers with a liquid therein, in particular for covering swimming pools.

In dieser Detaildarstellung umfasst die erfindungsgemäße Verschlussanordnung 1 zwei Basiselemente 2.In this detailed illustration, the closure arrangement 1 according to the invention comprises two basic elements 2.

The base elements 2 are further designed such that at least one base element 2 with one of its long sides 21, 22 with a long side 21, 22 opposite this of an adjacent base element 2 are at least partially movably connected via a connecting means 3 and on the longitudinal side 22 opposite the longitudinal side 21 connected to the connecting means 3 has at least one connecting device 4.
In this exemplary embodiment, the connecting means 3 arranged on the long side 21 of the base element 2 is designed as a hook which is arranged in one piece on the base element 2 and has two hook elements 31, 32 projecting from one another.

In this exemplary embodiment, the connecting device 4 arranged on the long side 22 of the base element 2 is designed such that it has a receiving gap 40 which is delimited by two curved ends 41, 42 of the connecting device 4, which are arranged approximately parallel opposite one another.

In this exemplary embodiment, the base elements 2 of the closure arrangement 1 according to the invention are designed such that they have a hollow chamber 5.

A material is arranged in the hollow chamber 5 of the base element 2, the density of which is between 0.01 and 0.7 g / cm 3 measured according to DIN 1183.
The hollow chamber 5 of the base element 2 of the closure arrangement 1 according to the invention is completely filled with this material.
In this exemplary embodiment, the material arranged in the hollow chamber 5 of the base element 2 is a foam based on a polystyrene (PS) with a density of approximately 0.2 g / cm 3 measured according to DIN 1183.
This advantageously leads to the closure arrangement 1 according to the invention for covering open containers with a liquid therein, in particular for covering swimming pools, being designed such that, on the one hand, a certain insulating effect can advantageously be achieved for the largely heated liquids located under the closure arrangement 1 according to the invention and, on the other hand, in extreme weather conditions such as, in particular, hail, the closure arrangement 1 according to the invention is designed such that no holes can be made in the individual base elements 2 by hailstones breaking through.

A further advantage of the closure arrangement 1 according to the invention is in particular that, when used as intended, it has a thermal conductivity of approximately 0.037 W / km according to the HOT DISK method according to ISO 22007.

It is also within the scope of the invention that the material arranged in the hollow chamber 5 of the base element 2 is designed as a closed-cell foam and / or open-cell foam and / or mixed-cell foam and / or integral foam. Furthermore, the material arranged in the hollow chamber 5 of the base element 2 can be produced from thermoplastic and / or elastomeric and / or thermosetting foam.

The closure arrangement 1 according to the invention for covering open containers with a liquid therein, in particular for covering swimming pools, generally comprises at least two base elements 2, one base element 2 with the connecting means 3 arranged on its long side 21 and that on the adjacent base element 2 on the side Longitudinal side 22 arranged connecting device 4 is connected.
In this case, the base elements 2 are not assembled by longitudinally displacing and guiding the connecting means 3 into the connecting device 4 to form a closure arrangement 1 according to the invention.
The hook elements 31, 32 of the connecting means 3 are positioned relative to the connecting device 4 such that the hook element 31 is hooked in behind the curved end 41 of the connecting device 4 through the receiving gap 40 and the further hook element 32 of the connecting means 3 behind the curved end with little effort 42 of the connecting device 4 can be latched.

The connection arrangement 1 according to the invention is further configured such that at least one receiving opening 6 receiving a fixing element 7 is arranged on at least one connecting device 4 of the base element 2.
In this exemplary embodiment, the receiving opening 6 of the connecting device 4 of the base element 2 is arranged approximately parallel to the longitudinal side 22 of the base element 2.

Furthermore, the closure arrangement 1 according to the invention is designed such that the receiving opening 6 of the connecting device 4 is arranged opposite the hollow chamber 5 of the base element 2. In this exemplary embodiment, the receiving opening 6 of the base element 2 has an approximately round cross section and is arranged over the entire long side 22 of the base element 2.

The closure arrangement 1 according to the invention for covering open containers with a liquid therein, in particular for covering swimming pools, is now produced in accordance with the dimensions of the container or the swimming pool in such a way that individual basic elements 2 of a defined length are made available.
The base elements 2 are now introduced via the connection device 3 arranged on the long side 21 of the respectively adjacent base element 2 arranged on the long side 22 until the free ends of the base elements 2 are arranged at an equal distance from one another.
The individual base elements 2 are now fixed to one another via the fixing element 7, which is arranged at each free end of a base element 2.

In this exemplary embodiment, the fixing element 7 has a base 70 on which an insertion element 71, not shown, is arranged. The fixing element 7 is non-positively connected to the base element 2 via the insertion element 71, not shown.
The insertion element 71 projecting from the base 70 of the fixing element 7 is arranged over its entire length in the receiving opening 6 of the base element 2.

The base 70 of the fixing element 7 covers and closes both the receiving opening 6 and the receiving space 43 enclosed by the curved ends 41, 42 of the connecting device 4, so that it is also covered.

In this exemplary embodiment, the closure arrangement 1 according to the invention is further configured such that the material arranged in the hollow chamber 5 of the base element 2 is arranged at a distance from the wall surrounding the hollow chamber 5 via a spacer layer 8.
This spacer layer 8 can be designed in a manner known per se as an adhesive system and leads to an even better material connection of the material arranged in the hollow chamber 5 of the base element 2.

The base elements 2 of the closure arrangement 1 according to the invention are made from a polymeric material, in particular from polyvinyl chloride (PVC).

In this exemplary embodiment, the base elements 2 of the closure arrangement 1 according to the invention are designed such that they have a wall thickness in the range from approximately 0.05 to 5.0 mm, preferably 0.1 to 2.5 mm. As a result, the base elements 2 forming the closure arrangement 1 according to the invention can advantageously be produced economically and inexpensively.
It is also within the scope of the invention that the base elements 2 are made of a polymeric material that has a transmittance of at least 80% measured according to ISO 13468-2 over its thickness for visible light.
The material arranged in the hollow chamber 5 of the base element 2 and / or the spacer layer 8 can be produced in different colors, in particular in black, and thus alone give the closure arrangement 1 according to the invention an optically appealing appearance.

In the Fig. 3 a perspective detailed view of the fixing element 7 of the closure arrangement 1 according to the invention is shown.

In this exemplary embodiment, the fixing element 7 has a base 70, on which at least one insertion element 71 is arranged.
In this exemplary embodiment, the base 70 of the fixing element 7 is approximately oval and has an insertion element 71 which is arranged approximately orthogonally to the base of the base 70.
The insertion element 71 of the fixing element 7 has an approximately arrow-shaped insertion tip 74 at its free end projecting from the base 70 of the fixing element 7. Between the arrow-shaped insertion tip 74 and the base 70 of the fixing element 7, the insertion element 71 is designed in such a way that it has a plurality of webs 75 projecting approximately orthogonally and spaced approximately parallel to one another.

When the fixing means 7 is used as intended, in particular for producing a closure arrangement 1 according to the invention, it is positioned with two base elements 2 rotatably connected to one another via the connecting means 3 in the connecting device 4 such that the arrow-shaped insertion tip 74 is arranged opposite the receiving opening 6 of the connecting device 4 and over the base 70 the fixing element can be brought into operative connection with the receiving opening 6 of the base element 2.

In this exemplary embodiment, the fixing element 7 of the closure arrangement 1 according to the invention is further designed such that it has a support element 72, 73.

The support element 72, 73 is also arranged approximately orthogonally on the base 70 of the fixing element 7 at a distance from the insertion element 71 and has an approximately oval geometry in cross section.
When used as intended in a closure arrangement 1 according to the invention consisting of a plurality of base elements 2, the support elements 72, 73 are arranged in the connecting device 4 arranged on the longitudinal side 22 of the base element 2 such that they are each spaced apart from the receiving opening 6 with respect to the curved ends 41, 42 of the connecting device 4 are arranged and thus prevent rotation of the fixing element 7 about its axis formed by the insertion element 71.

However, it is also within the scope of the invention that the support elements 72, 73 of the fixing element 7 are fixed in a materially integral manner by means of adhesive systems known per se and / or by welding in the receiving space 40 of the connecting device 4 and thus on the one hand prevent longitudinal displacement of the base elements 2 arranged against one another and on the other hand also ensure the locking arrangement 1 according to the invention is secure against rotation.
