Definitions
- the invention relates to an electrical contact set of a plug-in connection terminal with the features of the preamble of claim 1.
- Plug-in connection terminals which have an electrical contact with a first connection element for connecting a plug contact in a plugging direction, a second connection element for clamping connection of an electrical conductor being arranged on the electrical contact.
- Plug-in connection terminals are distinguished by the fact that, on the one hand, they have a clamping point for connecting an electrical conductor, and on the other hand, they can establish contact with the electrical device or the like through a connection point into which the plug contact is simply inserted.
- Plug-in circuit board connection terminals which have a multiplicity of such plug-in connection terminals for connecting a plurality of plug-in contacts, which are arranged fixed relative to one another on a pin header by an insulating body.
- circuit board connection terminals In order to be able to design such circuit board connection terminals for certain nominal voltages, appropriate air and creepage distances must be observed between the electrically conductive parts.
- the plug contacts of the pin header In order to be able to keep the distance between the individual plug-in connection terminals of the circuit board connection terminal as small as possible, it is known to arrange the plug contacts of the pin header not in one plane but in two planes that are offset parallel to one another at a distance, with the plug contacts alternating in the different ones Levels are arranged so that there is a zigzag arrangement of the plug contacts at the pin header. So that the plug contacts in the circuit board connection terminal can be contacted accordingly, it is known to arrange two different electrical contact sets in alternation in the circuit board connection terminal.
- FIG. 1 and 2 Examples of known such electrical contact sets according to the prior art are shown. These have an electrical contact 80 with a first connection element 82 for connecting a plug contact 50 in a plugging direction S, with a second connection element 86 for clamping connection of an electrical conductor being arranged on the electrical contact 80.
- the second connection element 86 has, for example, a spring leg 88 for the clamping connection of the electrical conductor between the spring leg 88 and the electrical contact 80.
- the first connection element 82 has, for example, two spring elements 84 which are arranged approximately mirror-symmetrically to one another and whose longitudinal axis runs in particular approximately parallel to the plug-in direction S. The free ends of the spring elements 84 open against the plug-in direction S.
- the width of the spring elements 84 corresponds approximately to the diameter of the plug-in contact 50 to be connected. So that the plug-in contacts 50 arranged in a zigzag on a pin header can be contacted in the circuit board connection terminal, the first Connection elements 82 of the two in the Figures 1 and 2 electrical contacts 80 shown offset from one another by a distance a transversely to the plug direction S. The distance a corresponds approximately to the distance between the two planes in which the plug contacts are arranged on the pin header. This means in particular that the first connection element 82 of the FIG Figure 1 electrical contact set shown closer to a side wall of the electrical contact 80 is arranged as the first connection element 82 of the in Figure 2 electrical contact set 80 shown.
- the US 2012/0295495 A1 or the EP 2 645 488 A1 disclose a contact set or a pole terminal for a socket insert, which have an electrical contact with a first connection element for connecting a plug contact in a plugging direction, a second connection element for clamping connection of an electrical conductor being arranged in the electrical contact, in which the first connection element has at least one contact element which has at least a first section and a second section, the width of the first section transverse to the plugging direction being greater than the width of the second section transverse to the plugging direction.
- the object of the invention is therefore to provide an electrical contact set for a plug-in connection terminal which simplifies the production and assembly of a plug-in circuit board connection terminal.
- the electrical contact set according to the invention of a pluggable connection terminal which has an electrical contact with a first connection element for connecting a plug contact in a plugging direction, with a second connection element for clamping connection of an electrical conductor being arranged on the electrical contact, is characterized in that the first Connection element has at least one contact element which has at least a first section and a second section, the width of the first section transversely to the plugging direction being greater than the width of the second section transversely to the plugging direction.
- Such a configuration of the contact element makes it possible to contact plug contacts arranged in different positions transversely to the plugging direction, so that only a single type of electrical contact set is sufficient to contact the plug contacts in the different positions. Only a single type of electrical contact set therefore has to be manufactured, which simplifies the manufacture of the electrical contact sets. Furthermore, the assembly of the plug-in circuit board connection terminal is also simplified, since only one type of electrical contact set has to be assembled.
- the plug contact can be inserted into the electrical contact set at two positions spaced a distance a transversely to the plug direction, and the width of the first section is at least as large as the distance a plus the diameter of the plug contact to be connected, particularly preferably at least as large as the distance a plus twice the diameter of the plug contact to be connected.
- the width of the first section is at least twice as large, preferably at least three times as large as the diameter of the plug contact to be connected, in order to enable reliable contacting of the plug contact in each of the possible positions.
- the first section advantageously comprises the area of the contact element which, when the plug contact is inserted, rests against the plug contact in order to ensure reliable contacting.
- the contact element is preferably designed as a spring element with a free end, for example in the form of a leaf spring-like spring element.
- Such spring elements are particularly simple in construction and can be manufactured inexpensively.
- the first section is preferably arranged in the region of the free end in order to further improve the contact.
- the free ends of the spring elements are bent away from the plug contact to be connected, which can simplify the connection of the plug contact.
- the longitudinal axes of the spring elements run approximately parallel to the plug-in direction of the plug-in contact, as a result of which the reliability of the contact can be increased.
- a preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the first connection element has at least one pair of contact elements in order to further improve the contact.
- the electrical contact particularly preferably has a side wall in which a first contact element of the pair of contact elements is arranged, a connecting element being arranged essentially perpendicular to the side wall, on which a second contact element of the pair of contact elements is arranged.
- a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the first connection element has at least two pairs of contact elements arranged one behind the other in the plug-in direction of the plug contact.
- each of the pairs of contact elements has two spring elements which are arranged relative to one another in such a way that when the plug contact is connected, they rest on two diametrically opposite points of the plug contact, which can further increase the contact reliability.
- the free ends of the spring elements of the first pair of contact elements in the plug-in direction of the plug-in contact and the free ends of the spring elements of the second pair of contact elements in the plug-in direction of the plug-in contact face one another. This enables a short distance between the contact points arranged one behind the other in the plug-in direction of the plug contact.
- a preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the electrical contact has a side wall in which a first contact element of the first pair of contact elements in the plug-in direction of the plug contact and a first contact element of the second pair of contact elements in the plug-in direction of the plug contact are arranged, and that a first Connecting element is arranged essentially perpendicular to the side wall, on which a second contact element of the first pair of contact elements in the plug-in direction of the plug contact is arranged, and that a second connecting element is arranged essentially perpendicular to the side wall which a second contact element of the second pair of contact elements in the plug-in direction of the plug contact is arranged.
- the second connection element has a spring leg, whereby a clamping contact of a conductor to be connected is made possible in a simple manner.
- the electrical contact is formed in one piece, which enables simple and inexpensive production of the electrical contact.
- the electrical contact is particularly preferably designed as a stamped and bent element, which enables the electrical contact to be made in a simple and inexpensive manner.
- a connection terminal according to the invention has an electrical contact set according to the invention.
- a circuit board connection terminal according to the invention has several electrical contact sets according to the invention.
- Figures 3 and 4th show a perspective view of an embodiment of an electrical contact set according to the invention 10, in which a plug contact 50 has been introduced along a plugging direction S in order to illustrate the contacting of the plug contact 50.
- FIG. 7 and 8th show a further exemplary embodiment of an electrical contact set 10 ′ according to the invention in the state installed in a circuit board connection terminal 60.
- FIG. 5 shows a perspective view of the printed circuit board connection terminal 60.
- Figure 6 shows a pin header 70 with an insulating body 72, in which several plug contacts 50 are arranged fixed relative to one another.
- the plug contacts 50 have a diameter d and a longitudinal axis IS.
- the plug-in contacts 50 can have a soldering surface 52, via which the plug-in contact 50 can be connected in an electrically conductive manner to a device and can be firmly fixed to it.
- the plug contacts 50 are arranged on the insulating body 72 in two planes which are arranged parallel to one another and offset by a distance a.

Description
The invention relates to an electrical contact set of a plug-in connection terminal with the features of the preamble of claim 1.
Electrical contact sets of plug-in connection terminals are known, which have an electrical contact with a first connection element for connecting a plug contact in a plugging direction, a second connection element for clamping connection of an electrical conductor being arranged on the electrical contact. Plug-in connection terminals are distinguished by the fact that, on the one hand, they have a clamping point for connecting an electrical conductor, and on the other hand, they can establish contact with the electrical device or the like through a connection point into which the plug contact is simply inserted.
Plug-in circuit board connection terminals are also known which have a multiplicity of such plug-in connection terminals for connecting a plurality of plug-in contacts, which are arranged fixed relative to one another on a pin header by an insulating body. In order to be able to design such circuit board connection terminals for certain nominal voltages, appropriate air and creepage distances must be observed between the electrically conductive parts. In order to be able to keep the distance between the individual plug-in connection terminals of the circuit board connection terminal as small as possible, it is known to arrange the plug contacts of the pin header not in one plane but in two planes that are offset parallel to one another at a distance, with the plug contacts alternating in the different ones Levels are arranged so that there is a zigzag arrangement of the plug contacts at the pin header. So that the plug contacts in the circuit board connection terminal can be contacted accordingly, it is known to arrange two different electrical contact sets in alternation in the circuit board connection terminal.

The manufacture and assembly of such a known printed circuit board connection terminal is complex, since two different types of electrical contact sets have to be manufactured and, in particular, have to be assembled in the correct sequence.

The object of the invention is therefore to provide an electrical contact set for a plug-in connection terminal which simplifies the production and assembly of a plug-in circuit board connection terminal.
The object is achieved according to the invention by an electrical contact set of a plug-in connection terminal with the features of claim 1.
Advantageous refinements and developments of the invention are given in the dependent claims.
The electrical contact set according to the invention of a pluggable connection terminal, which has an electrical contact with a first connection element for connecting a plug contact in a plugging direction, with a second connection element for clamping connection of an electrical conductor being arranged on the electrical contact, is characterized in that the first Connection element has at least one contact element which has at least a first section and a second section, the width of the first section transversely to the plugging direction being greater than the width of the second section transversely to the plugging direction. Such a configuration of the contact element makes it possible to contact plug contacts arranged in different positions transversely to the plugging direction, so that only a single type of electrical contact set is sufficient to contact the plug contacts in the different positions. Only a single type of electrical contact set therefore has to be manufactured, which simplifies the manufacture of the electrical contact sets. Furthermore, the assembly of the plug-in circuit board connection terminal is also simplified, since only one type of electrical contact set has to be assembled.
According to the invention, the plug contact can be inserted into the electrical contact set at two positions spaced a distance a transversely to the plug direction, and the width of the first section is at least as large as the distance a plus the diameter of the plug contact to be connected, particularly preferably at least as large as the distance a plus twice the diameter of the plug contact to be connected. In this way, reliable contact can be ensured in all possible positions of the plug contact. Preferably, the width of the first section is at least twice as large, preferably at least three times as large as the diameter of the plug contact to be connected, in order to enable reliable contacting of the plug contact in each of the possible positions.
The first section advantageously comprises the area of the contact element which, when the plug contact is inserted, rests against the plug contact in order to ensure reliable contacting.
The contact element is preferably designed as a spring element with a free end, for example in the form of a leaf spring-like spring element. Such spring elements are particularly simple in construction and can be manufactured inexpensively.
The first section is preferably arranged in the region of the free end in order to further improve the contact.
According to an advantageous development of the invention, the free ends of the spring elements are bent away from the plug contact to be connected, which can simplify the connection of the plug contact.
According to a preferred embodiment, the longitudinal axes of the spring elements run approximately parallel to the plug-in direction of the plug-in contact, as a result of which the reliability of the contact can be increased.
A preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the first connection element has at least one pair of contact elements in order to further improve the contact.
The electrical contact particularly preferably has a side wall in which a first contact element of the pair of contact elements is arranged, a connecting element being arranged essentially perpendicular to the side wall, on which a second contact element of the pair of contact elements is arranged. Such a configuration enables a structurally simple structure and, if desired, also a one-piece configuration of the electrical contact.
A particularly preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the first connection element has at least two pairs of contact elements arranged one behind the other in the plug-in direction of the plug contact. Such an arrangement enables reliable contacting of the plug contact even under extreme conditions such as high vibrations or plugging and pulling of the plug contact under load. Advantageously, each of the pairs of contact elements has two spring elements which are arranged relative to one another in such a way that when the plug contact is connected, they rest on two diametrically opposite points of the plug contact, which can further increase the contact reliability.
Preferably, the free ends of the spring elements of the first pair of contact elements in the plug-in direction of the plug-in contact and the free ends of the spring elements of the second pair of contact elements in the plug-in direction of the plug-in contact face one another. This enables a short distance between the contact points arranged one behind the other in the plug-in direction of the plug contact.
A preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the electrical contact has a side wall in which a first contact element of the first pair of contact elements in the plug-in direction of the plug contact and a first contact element of the second pair of contact elements in the plug-in direction of the plug contact are arranged, and that a first Connecting element is arranged essentially perpendicular to the side wall, on which a second contact element of the first pair of contact elements in the plug-in direction of the plug contact is arranged, and that a second connecting element is arranged essentially perpendicular to the side wall which a second contact element of the second pair of contact elements in the plug-in direction of the plug contact is arranged. This enables a structurally simple construction of the electrical contact in a simple manner.
According to an advantageous embodiment, the second connection element has a spring leg, whereby a clamping contact of a conductor to be connected is made possible in a simple manner.
According to a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the electrical contact is formed in one piece, which enables simple and inexpensive production of the electrical contact.
The electrical contact is particularly preferably designed as a stamped and bent element, which enables the electrical contact to be made in a simple and inexpensive manner.
A connection terminal according to the invention has an electrical contact set according to the invention.
