Definitions
- the invention relates to a sliding door with the features of the preamble of claim 1. Furthermore, a shower enclosure to be specified with a sliding door according to the invention.
- Such sliding doors are already known and are used for example in the DE 36 22 159 A1 shown.
- the magnets are usually arranged so that they are in the operating position of the sliding door with its corresponding counterpart in direct contact.
- Partial magnets are designed as sealing strips, which not only exert a tightening force of the sliding door to a guide rail and thus hold the sliding door in a defined position, but can also prevent the escape of water from the shower enclosure. Due to the permanent contact of the magnets and the corresponding magnetizable body, however, the resistance increases when opening and closing the sliding doors. Magnetic sealing strips z. B. rub permanently during the opening and closing movement of its corresponding counterpart.
- Magnetic sealing strips or magnetic holding bodies which are mounted outside of the sliding door, have Moreover, the negative property that they negatively affect the visual appearance of the sliding door. Furthermore, contaminants can accumulate on these exposed magnets. Magnetic rollers are known from the prior art, which can roll along the guide rails of the shower cubicle. However, these magnetic rollers also have the problem that only a punctual action of the magnetic force is ensured. The holding force is often too low for this reason. Furthermore, because of their material, magnetic rollers often have the negative characteristic of producing loud noises when the sliding door is set in motion.
- the object of the invention is to avoid the disadvantages described above and to provide a comparison with the prior art improved sliding door and a shower enclosure with a sliding door according to the invention.
- the at least one magnet or magnetizable body is rod-shaped and extends longitudinally in a cavity of the door profile and the guide profile is configured by a hollow profile, wherein the at least one magnet or the at least one magnetizable body is located inside the hollow profile, this is achieved in that a magnetic force is generated along the magnets inserted in the door profile.
- the rod-shaped magnet or the plurality of successively arranged rod-shaped magnets in the cavity of the door profile thus generate a magnetic force which extends over the entire length of the magnet arranged in the door profile.
- the magnets or at least one magnet in the installed state are invisible in a cavity of the door profile.
- the magnet or magnets thus also provide no exposed surfaces for the accumulation of impurities.
- the door profile is configured by a hollow profile, wherein the at least one magnet or the at least one magnetizable body is located in the interior of the hollow profile, the magnetizable body or the at least one magnet is simply inserted into the profile and can optionally be fastened there. In this case, access is made to the already existing cavities of the door profile, there is no need to create an additional cavity for the installation of the at least one magnetizable body or the at least one magnet.
- a frame for the sliding door can be created via the profiles and the door profiles.
- the corner fitting serves as a means of connection between the side profiles and the orthogonal lying door profiles.
- the corner fitting is connectable by a releasable fastening means with the side profile and / or the door profile, a simple construction of the frame for the sliding door is ensured. In case of damage to the sliding door - z. B. in a jump in the glass of the sliding door - this can be quickly replaced by removing the corner fittings. For this purpose, only the releasable fastening means must be removed in order to separate the profiles from each other. The frame is thus opened and the inner part of the sliding door can be removed.
- the corner fitting is at least made in two parts and includes an upper part and a lower part, wherein the upper part and the lower part in the attachment of the corner fitting with the at least one releasable fastening means on the side profile and / or the door profile are connected to each other.
- the lower part engage in the door profile and the upper part in the side profile.
- At least one running body is movably mounted between the lower part and the upper part and this running body is formed by a roller, wherein the roll is mounted rollable along the running direction of the door profile, it is possible to move the sliding door with a low resistance on the rolling of the running body ,
- the running body is located in the corner fitting of the sliding door and not directly on the door profile or the side profile. This position of the running body creates a punctual support of the sliding door on the guide profile in the corner region of the sliding door, which positively influences the guidance and stability of the sliding door during the sliding operation.
- the running body can be easily removed after removal of the fastening means and separation of the lower part from the upper part in case of wear or damage.
- the running body protrudes at least a quarter and a maximum of half the diameter of the running body out of the contour of the fitting.
- a spacing between the corner fitting and the guide profile is achieved. There is no direct contact between the corner fitting and the guide profile or the door profile and the guide profile. The distance between the guide profile and the door profile or the corner fitting and the guide profile is defined by the protrusion of the running body from the contour of the fitting.
- the running body is essentially made of plastic, this is reflected in the smoothness of the running body.
- a harder material such as metal, could contribute to the noise and produce an unpleasant rolling noise when moving the sliding door.
- Plastic has a noise-compensating property here. It would also be possible to use a plastic-like material, such. As hard rubber or silicones to use.
- a roll of metal with a sound-absorbing sheathing would also be a way to produce sufficient stability with low noise.
- the running body designed as a roller bearing has a bearing pin, wherein the bearing pin projects into the upper part and / or the lower part, a simple assembly of the running body is ensured in the corner fitting.
- the running body must therefore not by an additional axis, which z. B. is designed in the form of a screw or a pin to be fixed in the corner fitting.
- the bearing journals are directly formed on the running body, which greatly simplifies the assembly of the running body in the corner fitting.
- a guide profile is provided with a longitudinal axis, wherein the sliding door is movably mounted along the longitudinal axis of the guide profile, wherein the guide profile and the door profile by the at least one arranged on the guide profile or door profile magnet and at least a magnetizable body arranged on the guide profile or on the door profile attract each other, wherein the door profile and the guide profile are spaced from each other by the at least one running body with a certain distance.
- the sliding door is thus held on the guide profile by the magnetic force, the magnetic force is exceeded, it is possible to swing out the sliding door from its vertical position to clean the lower areas of the sliding door of impurities can.
- the profiles are affected on which accumulate impurities can.
- the sliding door could not be swung out, it would not be possible to clean the affected areas only under difficult conditions or without dismantling the door.
- the at least one running body between the sliding door and the guide profile prevents direct contact between the guide profile and the sliding door.
- the guide profile is also designed as a splash guard, thus preventing the escape of water from the shower enclosure. The fact that the lower edge of the door profile is lower than the upper edge of the guide profile, it is not possible that water spray can escape from the shower enclosure.
- the at least one magnet or the at least one magnetizable body can also be located inside the guide profile.
- the at least one magnet is arranged in the guide profile and the corresponding magnetizable body in the door profile.
- the guide profile is a hollow profile in which the at least one magnet or the at least one magnetizable body is located.
- the magnetizable body is configured directly by the guide profile or the door profile. If this is configured, for example, from stainless steel or another magnetizable material, then the addition of additional, magnetizable material can be dispensed with.
- Fig. 1a shows a sliding door 30, at the lower edge 10, a door profile 1 is arranged.
- the arrangement of the sliding door 30 and attached to the lower edge 10 door profile 1 can also be used without the guide profile 7.
- a guide profile 7 is installed. This serves, so to speak, not only as a guide profile 7, but also as a splash guard against leaking water.
- the upper edge of the guide profile 7 is higher than the lower edge of the door profile 1. Thus, a emergence of splashing is not possible.
- at least one magnet 2 is arranged on the door profile 1, which cooperates with a magnetizable body 9 in the interior of the guide profile 7. By the magnetic force, the sliding door 30 is held in the vertical position.
- the cavity 11 of the door profile 1 is in the Fig. 1a not recognizable as such.
- a portion of the door profile 1 is covered by a diaphragm 14 and thus forms the cavity 11.
- Behind the aperture 14 is the at least one magnet 2 or magnetizable body 9.
- the bottom view is shown without aperture 14.
- Fig. 1b schematically shows the door profile 1, which forms a profile with a cavity 11 together with a diaphragm 14.
- a diaphragm 14 and a cavity 11 forming hollow profile can be used as a door profile 1.
- this cavity 11 is the magnet 2 or the magnetizable body 9.
- the guide profile 7 which receives as a hollow profile, the at least one rod-like magnet 2 or the magnetizable body 9.
- Fig. 2 shows a running body 6 between the door profile 1 and the guide profile 7.
- the running body 6 prevents direct contact between the door profile 1 and the guide profile 7. In this case, a part of the roller 6 projects beyond the contour of the door profile 1 and the distance X between the door profile 1 and the guide profile 7 is generated.
- the running body 6 is configured in this embodiment as a roller which has at least one bearing journal 8, via which the roller is connected directly or indirectly to the guide profile 1.
- An indirect connection can be made for example by a corner fitting 4 ( Fig. 7 )
- Fig. 3 shows the bottom view of the sliding door 30, which is on the running body 6 with the guide profile 7 in conjunction.
- the running body 6 is connected via the bearing pin 8 with the door profile 1, the side profile 3 or a corner fitting 4 attached thereto.
- the corner fitting 4 is located in the transition region of the door profile 1 to an orthogonal to the door profile 1 side profile 3.
- the corner fitting 4 is secured to the transition 12 with at least one fastener 5 attached.
- the roller 6 causes a spacing with a defined distance X between corner fitting. 4 or door profile 1 and the guide profile 7. At least a quarter and a maximum of half the diameter D of the running body designed as a roller 6 protrudes from the contour of the corner fitting 4 or the door profile 1 out.
- the fastening means 5 can also connect the door profile 1 directly to the side fitting 3, wherein the use of a corner fitting 4 fails. In this case, the running body 6 would have to be arranged directly in the side profile 3 or the door profile 1. Furthermore, it is conceivable that the fastening means 5 is used at the same time as an axis for a running body 6 movably mounted thereon.
- the Fig. 4 shows an open door profile 1 shown, the magnets 2 are made visible in it. These correspond to magnetizable bodies 9, which are located in the interior of the guide profile 7. However, the guide profile 7 can itself be magnetized by being made of a magnetizable material.
- the running body 6 is fastened either directly to the door profile 1, the side profile 3 or in the corner fitting 4.
- Fig. 5 shows the sectional view of a sliding door 30, viewing direction from above.

- the running body 6 is located in the corner fitting 4.
- the corner fitting 4 connects in the transition 12 the door profile 1 with the side profile 3.
- the sliding door 30 is displaceable along the direction LR, in the sliding movement along the running direction LR, the running body 6 rolls off.
- the Fig. 6 shows a shower enclosure 31 with at least one sliding door 30. At least one sliding door 30 is slidably disposed along a running direction LR.
- the transition 12 between door profile 1 and side profile 3 has a fitting 4, which in turn includes a running body 6 (in Fig. 6 not shown).
- Fig. 7 shows in detail the corner fitting 4 in the transition 12 between door profile 1 and side profile 3.
- the corner fitting consists of an upper part 4a and a lower part 4b. These will be over in the Fig. 7 not visible fastener 5 connected together.
- the upper part 4a and the lower part 4b engage one another in a form-fitting manner. A wrong assembly of the parts 4a and 4b is thus excluded.
- the running body 6 is inserted in a recess.
- the running body 6 is designed as a roller, which can roll along the running direction LR of the sliding door 30. The rolling takes place along the guide rail 7.
- Fig. 8 shows in detail the lower part 4b of the corner fitting 4 with an inserted running body 6.

The object of the invention is to avoid the disadvantages described above and to provide a comparison with the prior art improved sliding door and a shower enclosure with a sliding door according to the invention.
This is achieved in the sliding door according to the invention by the features of
If the at least one magnet or magnetizable body is rod-shaped and extends longitudinally in a cavity of the door profile and the guide profile is configured by a hollow profile, wherein the at least one magnet or the at least one magnetizable body is located inside the hollow profile, this is achieved in that a magnetic force is generated along the magnets inserted in the door profile. The rod-shaped magnet or the plurality of successively arranged rod-shaped magnets in the cavity of the door profile thus generate a magnetic force which extends over the entire length of the magnet arranged in the door profile. In addition, the magnets or at least one magnet in the installed state are invisible in a cavity of the door profile. The magnet or magnets thus also provide no exposed surfaces for the accumulation of impurities. Furthermore, a direct contact of the at least one magnet with his corresponding counterpart - the magnetizable body - excluded. There is at least the material of the door profile between the at least one magnet and the corresponding, designed as a magnetizable body counterpart.
If the door profile is configured by a hollow profile, wherein the at least one magnet or the at least one magnetizable body is located in the interior of the hollow profile, the magnetizable body or the at least one magnet is simply inserted into the profile and can optionally be fastened there. In this case, access is made to the already existing cavities of the door profile, there is no need to create an additional cavity for the installation of the at least one magnetizable body or the at least one magnet.
If a corner fitting is formed at the transition of the door profile arranged at the lower edge of the door in a side profile orthogonal to the door profile and along at least one side edge of the door, then a frame for the sliding door can be created via the profiles and the door profiles. The corner fitting serves as a means of connection between the side profiles and the orthogonal lying door profiles.
If the corner fitting is connectable by a releasable fastening means with the side profile and / or the door profile, a simple construction of the frame for the sliding door is ensured. Be particularly advantageous, it has been found that the corner fitting is at least made in two parts and includes an upper part and a lower part, wherein the upper part and the lower part in the attachment of the corner fitting with the at least one releasable fastening means on the side profile and / or the door profile are connected to each other. So z. B. the lower part engage in the door profile and the upper part in the side profile. When removing the fastener, the lower part remains fixed in the door profile, the upper part remains attached to the side profile. This facilitates the assembly of the frame, especially when the lower part and the upper part are designed to be positively inserted into one another.
If at least one running body is movably mounted between the lower part and the upper part and this running body is formed by a roller, wherein the roll is mounted rollable along the running direction of the door profile, it is possible to move the sliding door with a low resistance on the rolling of the running body , The running body is located in the corner fitting of the sliding door and not directly on the door profile or the side profile. This position of the running body creates a punctual support of the sliding door on the guide profile in the corner region of the sliding door, which positively influences the guidance and stability of the sliding door during the sliding operation.
If the at least one running body can be removed from the fitting after the detachable fastening means have been assembled and the lower part has been separated from the upper part, the running body can be easily removed after removal of the fastening means and separation of the lower part from the upper part in case of wear or damage. The running body protrudes at least a quarter and a maximum of half the diameter of the running body out of the contour of the fitting. Thus, a spacing between the corner fitting and the guide profile is achieved. There is no direct contact between the corner fitting and the guide profile or the door profile and the guide profile. The distance between the guide profile and the door profile or the corner fitting and the guide profile is defined by the protrusion of the running body from the contour of the fitting.
If the running body is essentially made of plastic, this is reflected in the smoothness of the running body. A harder material, such as metal, could contribute to the noise and produce an unpleasant rolling noise when moving the sliding door. Plastic has a noise-compensating property here. It would also be possible to use a plastic-like material, such. As hard rubber or silicones to use. A roll of metal with a sound-absorbing sheathing would also be a way to produce sufficient stability with low noise.
If the running body designed as a roller bearing has a bearing pin, wherein the bearing pin projects into the upper part and / or the lower part, a simple assembly of the running body is ensured in the corner fitting. The running body must therefore not by an additional axis, which z. B. is designed in the form of a screw or a pin to be fixed in the corner fitting. The bearing journals are directly formed on the running body, which greatly simplifies the assembly of the running body in the corner fitting.
As it has been found to be particularly advantageous that a guide profile is provided with a longitudinal axis, wherein the sliding door is movably mounted along the longitudinal axis of the guide profile, wherein the guide profile and the door profile by the at least one arranged on the guide profile or door profile magnet and at least a magnetizable body arranged on the guide profile or on the door profile attract each other, wherein the door profile and the guide profile are spaced from each other by the at least one running body with a certain distance. The sliding door is thus held on the guide profile by the magnetic force, the magnetic force is exceeded, it is possible to swing out the sliding door from its vertical position to clean the lower areas of the sliding door of impurities can. In particular, the profiles are affected on which accumulate impurities can. If the sliding door could not be swung out, it would not be possible to clean the affected areas only under difficult conditions or without dismantling the door. By the magnets and the corresponding magnetizable body, the sliding door is thus held in its vertical position. The at least one running body between the sliding door and the guide profile prevents direct contact between the guide profile and the sliding door. The guide profile is also designed as a splash guard, thus preventing the escape of water from the shower enclosure. The fact that the lower edge of the door profile is lower than the upper edge of the guide profile, it is not possible that water spray can escape from the shower enclosure.
The at least one magnet or the at least one magnetizable body can also be located inside the guide profile. Thus, it is also conceivable that the at least one magnet is arranged in the guide profile and the corresponding magnetizable body in the door profile. In both cases, it is envisaged that the guide profile is a hollow profile in which the at least one magnet or the at least one magnetizable body is located. It would also be conceivable that the magnetizable body is configured directly by the guide profile or the door profile. If this is configured, for example, from stainless steel or another magnetizable material, then the addition of additional, magnetizable material can be dispensed with.
