- A structure for performing physical exercises in a liquid medium, said structure including:- at least one floating element (2) able to ensure a user's at least partial floatation;- a front part (3) comprising hydraulic propulsion means (8), connected to mechanical driving means (13) able to be actuated by the user's legs;
where the floating element (2) consists of a generally U-shaped tubular element comprising two parallel spaced apart branches (2A, 2B) and a support part (2C), forming a base transverse to said two branches (2A, 2B), said support part (2C) being for providing support for the user's nape (18) and/or back of the head,
and in that the free end of each U-branch (2A, 2B), opposite to the support part (2C), is respectively removably connected to a first end of a side member (5A, 5B), the second end of each side member being connected to the front part (3) via a cross-member (6), so that the user is in a lying down position while using the structure as the structure moves in water. - The structure according to claim 1, characterised in that the hydraulic propulsion means (8) and mechanical driving means (13) are disposed at a distance, corresponding to the length of said side members (5A, 5B), configured so that in a position of use, the user's legs (21) are in contact with the mechanical driving means (13) so as to actuate said mechanical driving means (13).
- The structure according to the previous claim, characterised in that the length of the side members (5A, 5B) and length of the U-branches (2A, 2B) are configured so that, when the user's nape or head bears against the U-transverse base (2C), the user's legs in the lying down position of use are in contact with the mechanical driving means (13) so as to actuate said mechanical driving means (13).
- The structure according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the driving means are a crankset, and the propulsion means consist of a turbine associated with a shell or casing.
- The structure according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the hydraulic propulsion means comprise a propeller or impeller.
