- iii) Entsprechend dem eingestellten Luftdruck in der Leimauftragswalze wird der wirksame Durchmesser an der Leimauftragswalze und damit auch die durch eine Druckluftführung erzeugte gewünschte umfangsseitigen Kontur der Leimauftragswalze eingestellt, wobei der ideale Luftdruck vorab entsprechend der Buchblockdicke und eventuell der Rundeform (sehr rund oder weniger rund) ermittelt wurde und in einer Tabelle abgespeichert und operativ nach Tabelle eingestellt wird. Würde nämlich der Luftdruck immer erst beim Aufsetzen der Auftragswalze auf den Buchblock über Sichtkontakt eingestellt und damit ermittelt werden, wäre die Beleimung nicht vollautomatisch. Dies lässt indessen die Möglichkeit offen, dass natürlich während der Produktion den Luftdruck immer noch verändert werden kann;
- iv) Der Buchblock wird gemäss der Produktionsgeschwindigkeit der Buchfertigungsstrasse mit einer definierten Transportgeschwindigkeit in Transportrichtung des Buchblocks unter der Leimauftragswalze vorbei geführt;
- v) Die Leimauftragswalze wird durch eine Leimschöpfwalze mit einer definierten Leimfilmdicke benetzt und die Leimauftragswalze überträgt diesen aufgenommenen Leim auf den Buchblockrücken weiter;
- vi) Die Geschwindigkeit des Buchblocks ist vom Buchblockformat losgelöst und richtet sich nach der Produktionsgeschwindigkeit der Buchfertigungsstrasse, womit die Geschwindigkeit der Leimauftragswalze entsprechend angepasst wird, indem die Drehzahl der Antriebswelle verändert wird;
- vii) Aus der Änderung des Wirkdurchmessers ergebende Höhenunterschied zwischen Leimauftragswalze und Buchblockrücken, wird gemäss der Differenz mindestens von Radius Rund zu Radius Flach oder umgekehrt, über eine zusätzliche Höhenverstellung angepasst, sodass die Umstellung von Flacher- auf Runder Rücken automatisch abläuft;
- viii) Eine automatische Höhenverstellung am Leimwerk wird mittels zwei Laufrollen, welche an den äusseren Punkten der Drehachse des Leimwerkes angebracht sind, und welche in Transportrichtung des Buchblocks in Abhängigkeit des Buchblockformates verschoben werden;
- ix) Über eine Wippe, an welcher eine Laufrolle befestigt ist, liegt das Leimwerk auf einer starren Auflage auf, dergestalt, dass diese Auflage mit einer Hinterklebestation verbunden ist, so dass bei einer Höhenverstellung der Hinterklebestation das Leimwerk automatisch in der Höhe mitverstellt wird, indem das gesamte Leimwerk über seine Drehachse verdreht wird, wobei die Leimauftragswalze die gleiche Höhenverstellung wie die Hinterklebestation ausführt.
