The invention has for its object to further develop the known stacking corner benefits.
The object is achieved by the invention specified in the claims, wherein the features of the subclaims not only the stacking corner according to Main claim further, but also represent independent solutions to the task.
First and foremost, it is provided that the fixing element is a mandrel. The mandrel has a tip that can be pushed through a flap of the lower carton. The stacking corner is thus suitable to be placed on the corner of a closed carton. The two are at a right angle to each other standing abutment against the side walls of the carton. The support flank is supported on a corner region of the closure flap of the carton. The mandrel perforates the flap or two in the corner superimposed flaps. The resulting from the placement of the mandrel hole through the one or the two flaps creates a fixing opening through which engages the mandrel forming the fixing. The axial length of the mandrel is in particular shorter than the axial height of the contact edges, so that the two contact flanks can be placed on the corner of the lower carton when placing the stacking corner first with their contact edges in contact with the side walls. Thereafter, a downward displacement of the stacking corner takes place, wherein the contact edges slide along the side walls of the carton. In the course of this downward displacement, the tip of the mandrel enters into the uppermost flap. The closure flap is usually made of corrugated cardboard, so that the mandrel can enter the closure flap by applying a sufficiently high compressive force leaving behind a perforation. The same is done in an optionally below an upper flap lying further closure flap. The corner niche is formed by three mutually perpendicular surfaces of the stacking corner. These surfaces are preferably formed by two mutually perpendicular side walls and a transverse thereto web. The side walls continue beyond the web and form upper abutment edges, which are also perpendicular to each other and each with a lower abutment edge aligned. A downwardly facing surface of the web forms the support flank. An upwardly directed side of the web pointing away from the support flank forms a support flank on which an upper carton can be supported. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, no fixing element or no mandrel extends from the supporting flank, so that the supporting flank extends substantially smooth and flat. The stacking corner thus has two interconnected with one another to form an L-profile in a vertex side walls, each having a rectangular cross-section. In the interior of the L-shaped profile body there is the web which forms the support flank and the support flank, which web preferably has a triangular plan. The floor plan of the web can also have a polygonal surface. It can be quadrilateral, for example. It is also envisaged that a peripheral edge of the web is arcuate. The support edge originates at a distance from the two contact edges at least one mandrel. But the support flank can also originate several mandrels. It is envisaged that a mandrel is arranged approximately in the middle of the support flank. It can also be provided that several, in particular three mandrels are arranged on the vertices of a triangle, in particular an isosceles, right-angled triangle. The mandrel may have a substantially cylindrical, preferably circular cylindrical cross section. The cross section may also be cross-shaped. The mandrel may also have a conical or pyramidal shape. Preferably, however, only the end is formed as a tip in the form of a cone. Furthermore, it can be provided that the portion of the mandrel adjoining the support flank is connected to supporting walls with the support flank. An edge of the supporting flank facing away from the support flank may have a cutting edge. This edge or edge preferably runs obliquely to the plane of the support flank. The axial length of the mandrel is preferably shorter or equal length of an axial length of a window which is formed in the apex region of the L-profile. The window is thus formed by an edge region of the stacking corner, in which the two side walls are connected to one another are. The window preferably extends over an axial length from the tip of the mandrel to its root, so that a lower narrow side of the window is at the level of the support flank. The window may be formed by two angular cut-outs each of a side wall of the stacking corner. The stacking corner is preferably designed as a plastic injection-molded part, so that the window is advantageous in the production, for example, to pull a slider out of the mold. The stacking corner can also be made of sheet metal or other material. It can also be made of die-cast zinc. Both the peripheral surface of the mandrel and the peripheral surface of the tip can be profiled. The peripheral surfaces of the tip and cylinder portion of the mandrel may have truss-like structures, in particular recesses. It is also envisaged that the abutment flanks are formed by structured surfaces of the side walls. The structures may have angles to each other extending webs which are interconnected to form nodes. For example, the structuring webs may be arranged honeycomb. The side walls can not only be structured on their surfaces facing the corner niches. It is also envisaged that the outwardly facing surfaces of the side walls have structures, for example in the form of mutually parallel grooves or ribs, wherein these ribs or grooves extend transversely to the longitudinal direction of the stacking corner.

Die Breite des Fensters 10 entspricht in etwa dem Durchmesser des Dornes 8.The apex area, in which the two
Both the inner surfaces of the
The stacking
The axial length of the
