Definitions
- the invention relates to a wall bushing for connectors according to claim 1.
- Such wall feedthroughs are required to contact connectors with mating connectors received on or behind a wall.
- This wall bushings are used for mechanical contacting and locking of the connector.
- the mating connector is usually mechanically fixed behind the wall on, for example, a printed circuit board and not movable relative to the wall bushing.
- the DE 10 2008 047 145 B3 shows a connector wall bushing for industrial environments.
- the wall bushing has a flange which can be fixed to a wall by means of two or four screws. Between the flange and the wall, a seal is arranged which is pressed by means of the screws. At the flange a mounting frame is arranged which serves for contacting a connector.
- each of two of four mounting holes of adjacent wall penetrations are shared and overlap.
- the wall feedthroughs can be arranged space-saving. Two mounting holes of a first wall feedthrough are thus superimposed with two mounting holes of a second wall feedthrough. With only two screws so four mounting holes of the two wall penetrations can be attached.
- the DE 10 2013 101 267 A1 refers to a device socket, consisting of a wall bushing, a printed circuit board and an electronic component applied to the printed circuit board, wherein the device socket comprises a locking means, whereby the printed circuit board is connectable to the wall bushing.
- the device socket has at least one seal, wherein the seal comprises first means by which the vertical position of the electronic component is predetermined on the printed circuit board. Next, the seal has an opening into which the electronic component is inserted, wherein in the opening plane of the seal is a center and the opening of the wall duct has a center. The centers have a distance from one another, the amount of which is greater than zero.
- the printed circuit board comprises second means by which the horizontal position of the electronic component for the passage of the wall is predetermined.
- the electronic component comprises Lötanan gleich institute, and the second means of the circuit board are designed as holes into which the Lötanan gleich institute the electronic component can be inserted.
- a plug which is to be mounted on a housing.
- the plug comprises a cylindrical body; and a flange extending from the cylindrical body and fixed to the housing.
- the flange includes at least a recessed portion and a cut portion so that the flange overlaps with a counter flange at the recessed portion or the cut portion in a thickness direction of the flange.
- the WO 2010/028738 A1 refers to a closure device of a preassembled closure element for sealingly sealing a plug feedthrough and has means for repeatedly closing and opening the feedthrough. It can simply be pushed onto the bushing and twisted slightly to open (Push & Twist).
- the DE 20 2008 001 281 U1 shows a fastening device for connectors on a housing wall.
- the fastening device is a two-part flange plate consisting of a clamping part and a pivoting part, and at least four through openings by means of which the fastening device can be fastened to a housing wall.
- the EP 2 597 730 A1 discloses a waterproof male connector for placement on a connector placement window of a housing cover having a sealing wall rising from a periphery of the connector placement window.
- a sealing rubber of the male connector is brought into close contact with the sealing wall, thereby forming a seal between the male connector and the connector assembly window.
- guide projections are provided to cooperate with the sealing wall when a housing of the male connector is inserted into the connector assembly window.
- the waterproof connector provides a close contact state for the sealing member without compromising mountability.
- a disadvantage of the wall bushings of this type is the large design of the flange contour. This is needed to securely connect the wall duct to the wall. These are very space intensive.
- the object of the invention is to present a wall bushing for connectors, which solves the known problems of the known wall penetrations.
- the wall bushing should require little space for assembly and can be arranged side by side in a high packing density.
- the wall bushing should be insensitive to occurring, lateral force and remain tight even with large, lateral forces.
- the wall bushing consists of a mounting flange which is intended to be mounted on a wall.
- the mounting flange has a passage opening for the passage of lines or connectors.
- a collar On one side of the mounting flange, a collar is arranged.
- the collar surrounds the passage opening.
- the collar has locking means, so that the collar is suitable for mechanical latching with a connector housing.
- the collar side facing away from the mounting flange is intended to be mounted on a wall. But this side has a seal that can be pressed between the mounting flange and a wall.
- the attachment openings are preferably designed as bores and provided for receiving screws.
- the seal is preferably designed such that it surrounds at least the passage opening in order to seal it.
- the collar which is provided for latching a connector, is rectangular.
- the collar is arranged on the mounting flange, that the mounting flange surrounds the collar on three sides.
- two shorter sides of the rectangular collar, and an intermediate, longer side of the collar are surrounded by the mounting flange.
- the three attachment openings are arranged on the two areas of the mounting flange, which are located next to the shorter sides of the rectangular collar.
- two mounting holes are formed in a first of the two areas of the mounting flange and a mounting holes in the second area.
- a particularly advantageous embodiment provides to arrange the mounting hole in the second region of the mounting flange with one of the two further mounting holes point symmetrical to the center of the rectangular collar.
- the remaining mounting hole is as far away from the connecting axis of the point-symmetrically arranged mounting holes.
- Another embodiment provides not uniformly form the mounting flange around the collar. In the first and second region of the mounting flange this is recessed between the mounting holes. This gives the mounting flange in the first and second area a puzzle piece-like shape around the mounting holes around.
- the first region of the fastening flange has the negative shape of the second region of the fastening flange. This means that the first region of the fastening flange of a first wall feedthrough can be connected in a form-fitting manner to the second region of the fastening flange of a second wall feedthrough.
- the two wall bushings are juxtaposed puzzle-like. This allows an attachment of several wall penetrations with a very small distance next to each other, without losing a lot of space for each own mounting flange.
- FIG. 1 shows a known from the prior art wall bushing 1 in a perspective view.
- the wall bushing 1 is formed from a mounting flange 2, which has a centrally arranged, rectangular passage opening 4.
- a collar 3 Around the passage opening 4 around a collar 3 is arranged.
- the collar 3 is provided for contacting and locking a connector.
- the collar 3 is rectangular and extends away from the mounting flange 2. On the outside of the collar 3 locking means 5 are mounted, which are provided for mechanical locking of a mating connector.
- the latching means 5 are formed in this example as latching engagement, in which latching arms of a mating connector can intervene. Alternatively, a thread or locking means for a bayonet lock could be provided here.
- the mounting flange 2 also has four mounting holes 6.
- the mounting holes 6 are arranged in the corners of the square mounting flange 2. By this arrangement the most secure fastening of the mounting flange 2 is made possible on a housing wall.
- the large, resting surface of the mounting flange 2 is connected at all four corners with a wall.
- a disadvantage of the illustrated wall bushing 1 is the required construction area. Due to the relatively large mounting flange 2 a lot of space is required on a housing wall on which the mounting flange 2 can rest and by means of z. B. screws can be screwed through the mounting holes 6.
- the mounting flange 2 is significantly reduced. Above the passage opening 4 and the collar 3, the mounting flange 2 is almost completely removed. In the lateral areas of the mounting flange 2 is still present only around the mounting holes 6. The remaining areas were left out.
- the wall bushings 1 can be mounted significantly closer together, in which the mounting flange 2 of a wall bushing 1 engages in the recess of an adjacent mounting flange 1.
- the mounting flange 2 instead of four only two mounting holes 6.
- the mounting flange 2 instead of four only two mounting holes 6.
- connection between mounting flange 2 and a wall is still sealed with a seal 7, this can be additionally compressed with transverse loads, and the wall bushing 1 leaking.
- an upward force on the collar 3 of the wall bushing 1 from FIG. 2 cause the seal 7 is further compressed in the upper region and in the lower region of the mounting flange 2, a gap is formed. So moisture or other environmental influences can penetrate.
- FIG. 3 a wall bushing 1 according to the invention is shown in a perspective view.
- the wall bushing 1 has substantially the same structure as z. B. known wall penetrations FIG. 2 on.
- a mounting flange 2 is provided to be attached to a housing wall. Through a through hole 4 in the mounting flange 2, a connector can be guided through the mounting flange 2 and connected to a mating connector.
- a collar 3 which has latching means 5 for latching a connector.
- two fastening bores 6 (6.1, 6.2, 6.3) are formed in the fastening flange 2. Through the mounting holes 6 screws, pins or rivets can be performed, which serve to attach the mounting flange 2 on a housing wall.
- the three mounting holes 6 are formed in the mounting flange 2, that the best possible distribution of force on the mounting holes is possible.
- two fastening bores 6.1, 6.2 are introduced in the left-hand area 2.1 of the fastening flange 2.
- the mounting hole 6.1 is arranged in the upper part of the area 2.1, while the mounting hole 6.2 is arranged in the lower part of the area 2.1.
- the right area 2.2 of the mounting flange 2 is centered between the mounting holes 6.1, 6.2 provided.
- the third mounting hole 6.3 is introduced in the left area 2.2.
- the region 2.2 of the mounting flange 2 is formed so that it surrounds only the mounting hole 6.3.
- the area 2.2 is recessed.
- the area 2.1 has a recess which is provided for receiving the area 2.2 of a further wall duct 1.
- two wall bushings 1 can be mounted very close to each other.
- FIG. 4 shows the wall bushing 1 of FIG. 4 again in frontal view.
- the shape of the mounting flange 2, and the arrangement of the mounting hole 6 is clearly visible.
- the mounting holes 6.1, 6.3 lie on an axis through the center of the passage opening 4 and are arranged point-symmetrical to the center.
- the mounting hole 6.2 is arranged in the lower part of the area 2.1 of the mounting flange 2, so that a maximum distance from the center of the through hole 4 is formed. Thus, an optimal attachment of the wall duct 1 is made possible.
- FIG. 5 shows a system of several, assembled in a grid wall bushings 1.
- six wall feedthroughs 1 are arranged in two rows and three columns.
- the area 2.1 of a wall duct 1 engages in the area 2.2. the adjacent wall bushing 1 a.
- the areas 2.1 and 2.2 are so advantageous recessed around the mounting holes 6, that the areas 2.1, 2.2 can mesh. A particularly close arrangement of several wall bushings 1 next to each other is possible.
