Characterized in that the bottom side walls and the lid side walls are inclined outwardly, a plurality of the same cartons in the open position are space-nestable and stackable. Filling the carton with food and / or drinks takes place in the open position. After filling, the carton is closed and locked by pivoting the lid shell against the bottom pan. The lock is made by inserting the tab into the punch and the first locking element is brought into a second locking element cross-locking position. As a result, the bottom shell is held securely on the one hand on the fold line and on the other hand on the lock on the cover shell.
  • the carton can be stored with the lower edges of the lid side walls on the support members on the insides of the sidewalls of a serving cart.
  • the force exerted by the food and / or beverages and / or other filling material applied to the bottom shell force is transmitted via the fold line and the first and second locking elements on the cover shell and derived in the support elements.
  • Weight acts in the direction of the lock and does not lift it. The locking is therefore particularly safe.
  • the carton can simply be selectively unlocked, for example by displacing the first and / or second locking element from the locking position into an unlocking position, in which the first locking element no longer engages over the second locking element. Then the carton can be opened easily. After use, packaging material, leftovers, disposable cutlery etc. can be filled into the cartons, the cartons can be emptied and stacked.
  • the lid side walls project further from the top wall than the bottom side walls from the bottom wall and / or the top side walls have a greater angle of inclination to the top wall than the bottom side walls to the bottom wall. This ensures that the lower edges of the lid side walls protrude laterally beyond the upper edges of the bottom side walls to place the carton directly on rails, grooves or other support elements of a serving cart.
  • the lower edge of the lid side walls on projections for support on support elements of a trolley, wherein the projections are preferably the crests of a wave-shaped lower edge.
  • the projections reduce the friction between the carton and the support elements, so that the cartons run more easily on the support elements and the trolley is easier to fill and empty.
  • first locking hooks with respect to the bottom side wall with the insertion tab at the top and project from the lower ends of the lateral edges the lid side wall, which has the punched-out for receiving the insertion tab, laterally before second locking hook, which engage under the first locking hook in the closed position of bottom shell and cover shell.
  • the insertion flap has a trapezoidal geometry, at least in an upper section, which narrows upwards.
  • the punch-out has a trapezoidal geometry or a rectangular geometry. Due to the trapezoidal geometry of at least the insertion tab, the insertion of the insertion tab is facilitated in the punching.
  • the insertion tab has as the first locking element a locking edge on the upper edge of a parallel to the bottom wall locking slot and has the punch as a second locking element at its lower edge on a protruding locking tab, which is insertable into the locking slot of the insertion tab, if in the Punching is introduced.
  • the locking slot is arranged at the level of the upper edge of the bottom side wall, with which the insertion tab is connected. In this way it can be achieved that the lid side wall with the punched-out closely engages closely with the bottom side wall with the insertion flap.
  • the locking tab is trapezoidal, the locking tab starting from the lower edge of the punch starting narrowing upwards.
  • the locking slot is preferably rectangular.
  • the insertion tab has first widenings on the two sides as the first locking elements at a distance from the upper edge of the bottom side wall, and the lateral edges of the punched-out second locking elements on which the first widenings are supported in the locking position.
  • the insertion tab has the first widenings at the upper end of a strip-shaped base.
  • the insertion lug has at the upper end of the strip-shaped base a trapezoidal geometry which on both sides forms first widenings and narrows upward.
  • the punching in the region of the second widenings is at least as wide as the insertion flap in the region of the first widenings.
  • the second spacers are present at the upper edge of the cut-out.
  • the second widenings of the cut are cuts which extend from the ends of the upper edge in the direction of the upper edge in the lid side wall, so that the widened upper portion of the insertion tab inserted at the upper edge in the punching and at the edge the cuts can pass. Due to the trapezoidal geometry, the insertion tab is easy to insert through the cuts and difficult to pull out of this. In addition, the insertion flap in the punched out be pulled down so that it is prevented by the first widenings and the lateral edges of the punching out of the punching. As a result, a tamper-evident closure is achieved.
