Definitions
- the invention relates to a cutting device and a film dispenser according to the preamble of claims 1 and 8.
- Rolled films such as e.g. Adhesion films used in private households or in the catering industry are often stored in cardboard or corrugated cardboard containers. As a rule, such containers are at the same time also designed as dispensers, from which film sections can be pulled out and separated by means of a separating device.
- a foil dispenser which comprises a housing with such a separating device.
- the housing is manufactured as a disposable container made of cardboard or corrugated cardboard.
- the separating device comprises a separate plastic profile which is fastened to the upper front edge of the housing and a cutting device mounted displaceably on this plastic profile with a cutting blade.
- Housing and separation device such film dispensers are relatively stable and easy to use.
- the cost of materials and the manufacturing costs are significantly higher compared to film dispensers, which are made of thinner cardboard and comprise a tear-off edge as a separating device. From an ecological point of view exists In addition, in the case of such dispensers, there is room for improvement if they are used as disposable devices which are disposed of after the film stock has been used up completely.
- the housing is designed as a cardboard folding box.
- a longitudinal gap on the lid or generally on a longitudinal wall of the carton serves as a guide means for a cutting device.
- the cutting device comprises a neck with two blades, which is arranged between a foot part and a head part. Foot and head are much wider and longer than the width of the guide gap, which corresponds approximately to the width of the neck transverse to the cutting direction.
- Even a slight rotation of the cutting device during displacement along the guide gap can cause the front blade in the direction of displacement to damage the longitudinal wall of the folding box adjacent to the guide gap. This undesirable effect is particularly strong if the carton is made of comparatively thin-walled cardboard and / or if the cutting device is mounted with too much play on the longitudinal wall with the guide gap.
- the cutting device For attaching the cutting device to the longitudinal wall at the guide gap, the cutting device may be formed in two parts, wherein the foot part is fastened from the inside by means of a snap connection on the neck, after this has been introduced from the outside through the guide gap on the longitudinal wall.
- the manufacture and assembly of such cutting devices directly on the housing are complicated and expensive.
- the longitudinal gap at one of its ends may comprise a larger opening for insertion of the cutting device. This requires unnecessarily long housing lengths and also entails the risk that cutting devices in the region of the openings jump out of the guide and get lost.
- An object of the present invention is therefore to provide a cutting device and a film dispenser with a cutting device, which are inexpensive to manufacture and easy to use.
- FIGS. 1 to 4 is a preferred embodiment of an inventively designed cutting device 1 shown in different directions. It comprises a head part 3 with a sliding sole 3a and with a grip 3d.
- the handle 3d is used for manually displacing the cutting device 1 in a cutting direction S along a first guide gap 53 on an outer guide wall 55 of a folding box 51, when the cutting device 1 is held displaceably on the folding box 51 ( FIG. 7 ).
- the term "in the cutting direction S" is to be understood to also encompass the direction opposite to the cutting direction S.
- the sliding sole 3a has a plane sliding portion 3b and two opposite end portions 3c in the cutting direction S, which are bent up like a blade.
- the sliding sole 3a extends over a length L1 which is preferably in the range of 15 mm to 30 mm and, for example, is 20 mm.
- the width B1 of the sliding sole 3a preferably corresponds approximately to the length L1.
- a first neck portion 5 protrudes downward, the width B2 transverse to the cutting direction S corresponds approximately to the width of the first guide gap 53 on the folding box 51.
- the first neck section 5 protrudes with little play through the first guide gap 53 into the interior of the folding box 51.
- the first neck section 5 therefore acts as a guide means which prevents or prevents translational movements of the cutting device 1 transversely to the cutting direction S. . limited, in the cutting direction S, however, permits.
- the cutting device 1 further comprises a first guide member 7 with a parallel to the sliding portion 3b arranged first guide plate 7a.
- the length L3 and the width B3 of the first guide plate 7a are similar or slightly larger than those of the sliding sole 3a of the head part 3.
- the guide plate 7a projects beyond the sliding sole 3a in the cutting direction S or longitudinal direction and across about one to two millimeters on each side.
- the first neck portion 5 serves as a support or spacer, which connects the head part 3 and the first guide member 7 preferably in the middle of the sliding sole 3a and the first guide plate 7a and holds these parts spaced from each other.
- the first guide plate 7a defines, together with the sliding sole 3a, a first guide space, which in the region of the sliding section 3b has a height H1 which is preferably in the range of 1 mm to 5 mm and, for example, 2 mm.
- the length L2 of the first neck portion 5 increases from a length L2 "at the first guide member 7 to a length L2 at the head portion 3.
- the increase in the length L2 can be a linear or preferably progressive function of the height position above the first guide plate
- At least one, preferably both legs of the blade 9 are formed as sharpened cutting edges 9a and protrude beyond the first neck portion 5 in the cutting direction S.
- a blade 9 which preferably has an inverted trapezoidal shape Outlets of the blade 9, the first neck portion 5 is chamfered, so that its width B2 is reduced to the blade 9 out.
- first guide plate 7a preferably project along the two longitudinal edges contact elements 7b upwards, the height of which is slightly smaller than the height H1 of the first guide space.
- the difference in height between the level of the underside of the sliding sole 3a and the level of the upper edges of the contact elements 7b is such that it corresponds at least approximately to the material thickness of the sections of the folding box 51 adjoining the first guide gap 53 including a film section (not shown) adjacent thereto. This has the effect that the range of motion of the cutting device 1 is limited orthogonally to the plane of the guide plate 7a, ie in the neck direction.
- the sliding section 3b is therefore held in abutment against the outer wall or the outer guide wall 55 of the folding box 51 or to a film section lying there.
- the play for movements of the cutting device 1 in the neck direction, ie orthogonal to the outer guide wall 55, is minimal.
- the cutting device 1 can be easily displaced along the first guide gap 53.
- the foil section to be separated is gently applied to the first guide gap 53 bounding portions of the outer guide wall 55 by the front in the cutting direction S bent-up end portion 3c of the sole plate 3a before it is severed by the front cutting edge 9a in a defined position ,
- a second neck section 15 protrudes downward, the width B4 of which, transverse to the cutting direction S, corresponds approximately to the width of a second guide gap 63 on an inner guide wall 65 of the folding box 51 ( FIG. 7 ).
- the second neck portion 15 extends at least approximately over the entire length L3 of the first guide plate 7a.
- the second neck portion 15 connects the first guide plate 7a and a second guide plate 17a spaced apart therefrom, or generally a second guide member 17.
- the first guide plate 7a and the second guide plate 17a define a second guide space whose height H2 is preferably about the material thickness of the inner guide wall 65 is equal to or slightly larger than this, so that the displacement of the cutting device 1 in the cutting direction S is not hindered.
- the width B5 of the second guide plate 17a can be significantly smaller than the width B3 of the first guide plate 7a and, for example, have a value in the range of 25% to 75% of the width B3. This facilitates the insertion of the cutting device 1 into the two guide gaps 53, 63 on the guide walls 55, 65. Since the material of the guide walls 55, 65 is comparatively thin and flexurally elastic, the cutting device 1 as a whole can be easily located approximately in the middle of the guide gaps 53, 55 be inserted.
- FIG. 5 shows the cutting device 1 in the open state
- FIG. 6 The blade 9 is made of metal or another hard material such as glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) and embedded in a plastic body, the head part 3, the first neck portion 5, the first guide member 7, the second neck portion 15th and the second guide member 17 includes.
- the plastic body comprises two halves, which adjoin each other in a predetermined by the arrangement of the blade 9 parting plane and are interconnected.
- the two halves of the plastic body are pivotally connected to each other via a film hinge 19 on the underside of the second guide plate 17a.
- the blade 9 allows a cost-effective production of the plastic body as a one-piece injection molding and a simple assembly of the two halves, when the blade 9 is held by alignment in the desired position on one of the halves of the plastic body.
- other joining techniques such as ultrasonic welding or gluing may be used to join the parts.
- the blade 9 could also be inserted into the mold during the production of the plastic part and directly in the area between the cutting edges 9a Plastic are injected.
- the film hinge 19 may extend over the entire length L4 of the second guide plate 17a.
- the alignment means comprise on one half of the plastic body three alignment pins 21 projecting beyond the parting plane and on the other half of the plastic body corresponding bolt receptacles 23 and on at least one of the two halves of the head part 3 adapted to the contour of the blade 9, by a
- the blade 9 comprises recesses 9 c, which are arranged and formed so that the blade 9 can be pushed transversely to the parting plane with little play on the alignment bolts 21.
- the alignment bolts 21 define the position of the blade 9 in the parting plane and prevent movements relative to the head part 3 within the parting plane.
- FIG. 7 shows the cross section of a film dispenser.
- This comprises a folding box 51, in which an outer wall is designed as an outer guide wall 55.
- the inner guide wall 65 is formed on a portion of the folding box 51, which adjoins one of the longitudinal edges of the outer guide wall 55 and is bent over several times parallel to this longitudinal edge by about 90 °.
- a first connecting section 57, a protective wall 75, a second connecting section 59 and then the inner guide wall 65 follow in sequence.
- the lengths of the first connecting section 57 and the second connecting section 59 are matched to the cutting device 1 the second guide wall 65 is arranged at a distance from the first guide wall 55, which corresponds to the level of the second guide space, when the sliding portion 3b of the head part 3 rests against the outer guide wall 55 and the sections of the guide walls 55 adjoining the guide gaps 53, 63 65 in the associated Protruding leading rooms.
- the length H4 of the second connecting portion 59 is dimensioned as small as possible, but still large enough that the second guide member 17 and the second guide plate 17a when moving the cutting device 1 in the cutting direction S is not hindered.
- the protective wall 75 protects a film roll (not shown) mounted inside the folding box 51, so that it can not be damaged by the cutting device 1 when it is displaced in the cutting direction S. Generally, corners and edges of the cutter are rounded. This favors the smooth movement of the cutting device 1 and also helps to ensure that the carton 51 and the film are not damaged when moving.
- the material thickness of the folding box 51 is preferably in the range of 0.4 mm to 1 mm. This also applies to the thicknesses of the first guide plate 7a and the second guide plate 7b.
- the inner guide wall 65 could also be formed as a loose insert wall in alternative embodiments of the folding box 51.
- the comparatively small height of the cutting device 1 allows a good use of the space for the film roll to be received by the folding box 51. Thereby can the comparatively compact folding boxes 51 are produced.
- the guide gaps 53, 63 do not necessarily have to be arranged in the middle of the guide walls 55, 65. They can also be arranged offset to one of the longitudinal edges of the guide walls 55, 65, wherein it must be ensured that the cutting device 51 can be moved unhindered in the cutting direction S.
- the flat design of the cutting device 1, in particular the second guide plate 17a ensures that even with film dispensers without protective wall 75, a film roll stored in the dispenser can not be damaged by the cutting device 1.
- the inner guide wall 65 may be fixed in place at one or more locations within the carton 51, or secured against undesired movement in one or more directions.
- the width and optionally also the length of the second guide wall 55 are adapted to the inner mass of the folding box 51 so that movements of the inner guide wall 65 in the respective directions within the folding box 51 are prevented.
- At one or more of the long and / or short side edges of the inner guide wall 65 optionally folded end or connecting portions 59 may be formed, which serve as spacers or stop elements for setting or limiting the position of the inner guide wall 65 can be used within the carton 51.
- the second neck portion 15 projects with little play through the second guide gap 63 further inside the folding box 51.
- the second neck portion 15 thus acts as an additional guide means, the translational movements of the cutting device 1 transverse to the cutting direction S. prevented or limited, in the cutting direction S, however, permits. Since the two guide walls 55, 65 and the associated neck portions 5, 15 are arranged orthogonally spaced from each other, they together provide improved protection against tilting or tilting of the cutting device 1, for example, a torque with respect to the cutting direction S and / or with respect to the neck direction acts on the cutting device 1.
- the second neck portion 15 protrudes in the cutting direction S on the cutting edges 9 a, he stands on the inner guide wall 65 when moving the cutting device 1 in the cutting direction S at the end of the second guide gap 63 before the cutting edge 9 a at the end of the first guide gap 53, the outer Can damage guide wall 55.

Description
The invention relates to a cutting device and a film dispenser according to the preamble of
Rolled films such as e.g. Adhesion films used in private households or in the catering industry are often stored in cardboard or corrugated cardboard containers.
For attaching the cutting device to the longitudinal wall at the guide gap, the cutting device may be formed in two parts, wherein the foot part is fastened from the inside by means of a snap connection on the neck, after this has been introduced from the outside through the guide gap on the longitudinal wall. The manufacture and assembly of such cutting devices directly on the housing are complicated and expensive.
Alternatively, the longitudinal gap at one of its ends may comprise a larger opening for insertion of the cutting device. This requires unnecessarily long housing lengths and also entails the risk that cutting devices in the region of the openings jump out of the guide and get lost.
An object of the present invention is therefore to provide a cutting device and a film dispenser with a cutting device, which are inexpensive to manufacture and easy to use.
This object is achieved by a cutting device and by a film dispenser according to the features of

The
The
The
In the cutting direction S, the length L2 of the
At the
When the two halves of the plastic body are completely folded so that they rest against each other, engage the

The
The material thickness of the
The

The
When the
