Retail and display device as claimed in one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the auxiliary frame (Z) supporting the front one of the profiled plates (6) is displaceable by means of respective positioning units (9) directed horizontally towards the front or towards the rear in such a way that the respective inclined positions (angle C) of the extendable display surface (2) can then be predefined by means of a height-adjustable rear mount (10) on the supporting frame (8).
  5. Retail and display device as claimed in one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the displaceable auxiliary frame (Z) is at least partially slidable into a free space (11) formed underneath the base unit (B).
  6. Retail and display device as claimed in one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the profiled plates (5, 6) and/or the displaceable auxiliary frame (Z) is/are displaceable into the respective deployed and/or stowed position, can be secured therein and released therefrom by hand.
  7. Retail and display device as claimed in one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the profiled plates (5, 6) of the pull-out (A) co-operate with at least one actuator in the region of the base unit (B) and/or the auxiliary frame (Z) .
  8. Retail and display device as claimed in one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the base unit (BE) and an extension unit (EE) form an at least two-part frame unit which is provided with the respective display surface (2') as well as a respective extension surface (3'), and these two units (BE, EE) are displaceable relative to one another from a deployed position placed adjacent to one another in the region of their respective part-surfaces into at least one stowed position in such a way that in this stowed position, the extension surface (3') of the extension unit (EE) locates at least partially underneath the display surface (2') of the base unit (BE), and the at least one extension unit (EE) which can be placed laterally adjacent to the base unit (BE) in the deployed position has in the region of its extension surface (3') a receiving device (15) pivotably supporting the latter by means of a supporting unit (14) and this is in turn connected to a frame (16) that is displaceable on the floor.
  9. Retail and display device as claimed in claim 8, characterised in that starting from the deployed position defining a common front line (F) in the region of the two display surfaces (2', 3') lying adjacent to one another through to reaching the stowed position, the extension surface (3') of the extension unit (EE) is firstly pivotable (arrow H) relative to its supporting unit (14) back about a support axis (TS), after which this extension surface (3') is transversely displaceable (arrow Q) into a storage position spaced apart from the support axis (TS) and, from this position (spacing AL) spaced apart from the front line (F), the extension unit (EE) is slidable in the longitudinal direction (arrow L) at least partially underneath the display surface (2') of the base unit (BE).
  10. Retail and display device as claimed in claim 8 or 9, characterised in that the display surfaces (2', 3') have a support axis (TS) extending in the front-face front line (F) of the system in the region of their frame unit.
  11. Retail and display device as claimed in one of claims 8 to 10, characterised in that at least the extension surface (3') of the extension unit (EE) is connected to the associated supporting unit (14) so as to be displaceable by means of at least one pivoting-translating connector (17).
  12. Retail and display device as claimed in one of claims 8 to 11, characterised in that the extension surface (3') may be supported on at least one four-bar linkage (18, 18') provided in the form of a pivoting-translating connector (17') and directed towards the supporting unit (14).
  13. Retail and display device as claimed in one of claims 8 to 12, characterised in that at least the receiving device (15) of the extension unit (EE) having the supporting unit (14) forms a connection that is transversely and/or longitudinally displaceable by means of castors (19) on the chassis (16) at the floor end and respective guide components (20, 20', 20"; 21, 21') cooperating with the frame unit of the base unit (BE).
  14. Retail and display device as claimed in one of claims 9 to 13, characterised in that at least the extension surface (3') of the extension unit (EE) is provided with at least one displaceable attachment surface (AF) on its end remote from the support axis (TS) in the region of the front line (F) such that a supporting connection (22) to a stationary framework (23) can be established by means of this attachment surface (AF).
  15. Retail and display device as claimed in claim 14, characterised in that the respective attachment surface (AF, AF') is connected to the display surface (2', 3') in the manner of a linearly movable telescopic pull-out (arrow G, G').
  16. Retail and display device as claimed in one of claims 14 or 15, characterised in that the attachment surface (AF, AF') is pivotable relative to the display surface (2', 3').
  17. Retail and display device as claimed in one of claims 14 to 16, characterised in that the attachment surface (AF, AF') has a locking bar (24, 24') provided at the outer end which can be secured in respective deployed positions in the region of at least one supporting beam (25, 25', 25") connected to the framework (23).
  18. Retail and display device as claimed in claim 17, characterised in that at least two parallel spaced-apart support beams (25, 25', 25") of the framework (23) are provided in the region of the locking bar (24, 24').
  19. Retail and display device as claimed in claim 17 or 18, characterised in that the locking bar (24, 24') of the attachment surface (AF, AF') can be secured in steps or steplessly in respective deployed positions in the region of the respective supporting connection (22) and released therefrom.
  20. Retail and display device as claimed in one of claims 8 to 19, characterised in that the base unit (B, BE), the at least one laterally displaceable extension unit (EE) and the auxiliary frame (Z) forming part of the base unit (B) at the front form a modularly extendable display structure.
  21. Retail and display device as claimed in claim 20, characterised in that the base unit (B, BE) can be selectively connected to the at least one extension unit (EE) at both transverse sides.
  22. Retail and display device as claimed in claim 20 or 21, characterised in that the base unit (B, BE) is provided with several frontally displaceable auxiliary frames (Z).
