The disclosure DE 102 31 839 A1 discloses a shower or bath shower with a water supply channel and a shower head which, as modules, comprises shower jet generating devices which can be detachably connected to the water supply channel, each module being connectable to the water supply channel by a separate switching valve. For example, a first module with a circular end face on a central axis of the shower head and a second and third module with an annular end face in an arrangement concentric with the first module can be provided. The three modules are open at the rear, one feed channel from a distribution chamber of a water distribution housing of the shower head opening into one of the modules and can be shut off by the associated switching valve, which the user has to actuate for this purpose.

One in the disclosure US 2013/0291298 A1 The disclosed shower head has a spray disc structure made of hollow spray disc elements which can be joined together and are hexagonal in cross section, with a central element serving as the main body with a central, rear shower inlet connection to which the other elements can be coupled as optional auxiliary elements with opposing circumferential side surfaces, whereby they are connected via corresponding connection openings are in fluid communication with the center element. Shut-off valves are arranged in the connection openings of the main body, which shut off the connection opening when the auxiliary element is not connected and automatically release it when the auxiliary element is connected. For this purpose, a special lever mechanism with a push rod for valve actuation is arranged in the respective auxiliary element.

The invention is based on the technical problem of providing a shower head of the type mentioned at the outset, which improves the prior art and in particular enables great functionality with ease of use.

The invention solves this problem by providing a shower head with the features of claim 1.

In the shower head according to the invention, the spray disc structure comprises a plurality of spray disc elements. The spray disc elements can be detachably attached individually to an underside of the shower base body. This is to be understood to mean that the shower base body and the spray disc elements are set up and intended to be able to repeatedly and non-destructively attach the spray disc elements to the shower base body in normal use. Furthermore, the jet disk elements each form a partial jet disk area of a total jet disk area. The partial jet disk areas can also be referred to as partial jet exit areas and the total jet disk area can also be referred to as the total jet exit area. Furthermore, the shower base body has its own fluid supply for each of the jet disc elements.

The shower head allows the respective spray disc element to be loosened or replaced individually, for example for cleaning in the event of calcification or contamination, while the other spray disc element (s) remain attached to the shower base body and can still be supplied with fluid by means of their respectively assigned fluid supply when in use. The removed jet disc element can thus be cleaned or decalcified without dismantling the jet disc structure. In addition, the invention enables flexible use of jet disk elements of different jet types, if necessary, in order to achieve correspondingly different jet characteristics of the total jet disk area in a variable manner.

Each of the plurality of fluid feeds can create a fluid connection directly or indirectly, in particular by means of one or more fluid channels, from a fluid inlet of the shower base body to a fluid outlet of the associated jet disc element when it is attached to the shower base body.

Furthermore, the entire jet disk surface can be flat at least in sections. Alternatively or additionally, the entire jet disk surface can be convex or concave at least in sections. In particular, the entire jet surface can be designed such that individual fluid jets emerge from the plurality of partial jet disk surfaces side by side in approximately the same direction from the shower head and form a uniform overall fluid jet.

Depending on requirements, two, three or more jet disc elements can be provided, in particular also seven or more. Furthermore, at least one, in particular each, of the jet disc elements can have a circular sector, circular section or circular segment shape. A plurality of such jet disk elements can then be arranged adjacent to one another around a jet disk surface axis defined by the total jet disk surface and the total jet disk surface can have a circular shape. Alternatively or additionally, at least one, in particular each, of the jet disc elements can have a rectangular shape. A plurality of such jet disk elements can then be arranged adjacent to one another and the total jet disk surface can have a rectangular shape. Adjacent or side by side means that the jet disc elements are arranged without gaps or a distance between two jet disc elements is less than a predetermined value, for example less than 0.5 cm or less than 0.1 cm. According to the invention, at least one of the several jet disc elements is designed as a hollow body with a fluid chamber. The fluid chamber is in fluid communication on the one hand via a fluid inlet area on a rear side of the hollow body opposite the partial jet surface with the associated fluid supply when the jet element is attached or attached to the shower base body and is in fluid communication with a fluid outlet in the partial jet surface. Otherwise, the hollow body can be fluid-tight. To seal the spray disc element and / or the shower base body, a relatively small seal, such as a relatively small sealing ring, arranged on the fluid supply can suffice, so that no fluid leaks past the assigned spray disc element to the outside.

According to the invention, the shower base body has a separate shut-off valve for at least one of the fluid feeds, in particular a separate shut-off valve for each of the fluid feeds. The shut-off valve is between a release position, i.e. Open position, for the assigned fluid supply with the spray disc element attached to the shower base body and a shut-off position, i.e. Closed position, designed to be adjustable for the fluid supply when the spray disc element is detached from the shower base body. When the shut-off valve is adjusted into its release position, fluid can flow through the fluid supply or flow out of it when in use. When the shut-off valve is adjusted to its shut-off position, no fluid can flow through the fluid supply. When the spray disc element is detached from the shower base body, the shut-off valve enables the shower head to be used as intended with the other spray disc elements attached to the shower base body, e.g. while the detached jet disc element is being cleaned.

Advantageously, the shut-off valve is designed for automatic adjustment to its release position by attaching or attaching the assigned jet disc element to the shower base body and for automatic adjustment to its shut-off position by detaching the jet disc element from the shower base body. Thus, simply attaching or detaching the spray disc element to adjust the shut-off valve can be sufficient, which allows intuitive and simple operation of the shower head. In particular, in one embodiment of the invention, the shower head comprises a mechanical coupling between the shut-off valve and the associated one Jet disc element, the mechanical coupling being designed to adjust the shut-off valve through the jet disc element.

In a further development of the invention, the shower head comprises a, in particular self-locking, click mechanism. This serves for the detachable fastening of at least one, in particular each, of the several jet disc elements to the shower base body and is designed to be pressure-actuatable in an attachment direction of the jet disc element. The attachment direction is the direction in which the jet disc element is moved relative to the shower base body mainly when it is attached or attached to it. The click mechanism allows the spray disc element to be attached to the shower base body simply by pressing in the direction of attachment and release, and the attachment to the shower base body to be released by pressing and releasing the spray disc element again. The click mechanism can additionally be designed to move or eject the released jet disc element from the shower body. This enables the spray disc element to be attached and detached to and from the shower base body without tools. In particular, the click mechanism can form a positive connection between the shower base body and the spray disc element when fastened. The click mechanism can be a mechanism for fastening an SD card in an SD card slot, such as a digital camera.

In a further development of the invention, the attachment direction of at least one, in particular each, of the multiple jet disk elements runs parallel to a jet disk surface axis. The spray disc surface axis can run perpendicular to the total spray disc surface. The jet disc element can thus be moved toward a bottom side of the shower base body when it is fastened with a rear side opposite the partial jet disc surface. In particular, the underside of the shower base body can form a limit stop for moving the jet disc element towards the shower base body. Additionally or alternatively, the click mechanism which can be actuated in the attachment direction, if present, can be arranged on the rear of the jet disc element and / or on the underside of the shower base body. Furthermore, additionally or alternatively, the mechanical coupling between the shut-off valve and the associated spray disc element, if present, can be arranged on the underside of the shower base body and / or the rear of the spray disc element. With a subsequent loosening it can then The spray disc element can simply be moved down or removed from the shower base.

In one embodiment of the invention, the shower base body has a securing device for fixing the respective jet disc element on the shower base body perpendicular to the spray disc surface axis, in particular in the radial direction. Thus, the jet disc element is not only fixed in or against the attachment direction, but also perpendicular to it. For this purpose, the fuse can comprise, for example, a separate element in the form of an outer ring, which fixes the jet disk element in the radial direction away from the axis of the jet disk surface. Additionally or alternatively, the fuse can comprise a separate element in the form of an inner body, which fixes the jet disk element in the radial direction towards the jet disk surface axis.

In a development of the invention, at least one, in particular each, of the plurality of fluid feeds is arranged on the underside of the basic shower body. When the spray disc element is attached to the shower base body, the fluid supply can advantageously open into it on the rear side opposite the partial spray disc surface. This arrangement allows a particularly simple structure of the shower base body.

In a development of the invention, at least two of the plurality of jet disc elements differ from one another in a number, an arrangement, a shape and / or a size or a diameter of fluid outlets in the respective partial jet disc surfaces and are designed to provide different types of fluid jet. The types of fluid jets can include, for example, a hard jet or massage jet, a gush jet and / or a normal jet. By selecting from the various jet disc elements and attaching them to the shower base body, the user can implement different jet exit patterns or jet exit characteristics of a fluid jet according to his wishes or needs.

An in Fig. 1 The shower head 1 shown for a sanitary shower comprises a shower base body 2 and a spray disc structure 3 arranged on the shower base body 2. The spray disc structure 3 itself comprises a plurality of spray disc elements 4 which are separate from one another, three in the present embodiment, in which in FIG Fig. 1 two jet disc elements 4 and in Fig. 2 a further jet disc element 4 are shown. The jet disc elements 4 can be attached to the shower base body 2 in a detachable, non-destructive manner. In Fig. 1 the two jet disc elements 4 are attached to the shower base body 2 and in Fig. 2 the spray disc element 4 is detached from the shower base body 2. If all three spray disc elements 4 of the spray disc structure 3 are attached to the shower base body 2, the spray disc elements 4 each form a partial spray disc surface 5 of a total spray disc surface, as is known Fig. 1 derived from the appropriate completion. Furthermore points the shower base body 2 has a separate fluid supply 7 for each of the jet disc elements 4, wherein in Fig. 1 the fluid supply 7 for the detached from the shower base body 2 in Fig. 2 shown jet disc element 4 can be seen.

The shower base body 2 has a customary fluid inlet (not shown) into the shower head 1. Furthermore, each of the spray disc elements 4 comprises a fluid outlet 17 in the form of a plurality of water outlet openings from the shower head 1 in its partial spray disc surface 5. Each fluid feed 7 creates a fluid connection from the fluid inlet to the fluid outlet 17 of the associated spray disc element 4 when the spray disc element 4 is attached to the shower base body 2. In addition, the jet disc elements 4 are fluid-separated from one another, ie that none of the jet disk elements 4 has a direct fluid connection with the other jet disk elements 4.

The total spray disc area of the shower head 1 is convexly curved outwards, ie in the Fig. 1 and 4th downward. Furthermore, the total spray disc area in the example shown is of circular shape and is designed such that individual fluid jets from the plurality of partial spray disc surfaces 5 emerge from the shower head 1 side by side in approximately the same direction and a uniform, homogeneous total fluid jet form. In detail, each of the jet disc elements 4 has a circular sector, circular section or circular segment shape. The total jet disk surface defines a jet disk surface axis 12, which runs perpendicular to the total jet disk surface. The jet disk elements 4 are arranged adjacent to one another around the jet disk surface axis 12. There is no gap or at most a small gap between two adjacent jet disc elements 4, the width of which is less than 0.5 cm, preferably less than 0.1 cm, and greater than a manufacturing tolerance of the components of the shower head 1.

The shower base body 2 has a circular cylindrical shape with a cylindrical inner body 21 and with an extension of the lateral surface in the form of an outer ring 20. As a result, the shower head 1 forms a cylindrical or annular receiving space 22 for the spray disc structure 3, ie for its spray disc elements 4. When all spray disc elements 4 are attached to the shower base body 2, form the total jet surface, the outer ring 20 and the inner body 21 a flush, stepless surface.

An attachment direction 10 of the jet disk elements 4 runs parallel to the jet disk surface axis 12, in FIG Fig. 1 from the bottom up. When one of the jet disk elements 4 is fastened, it is attached to a rear face 23 opposite the partial jet disk surface 5 to an in Fig. 1 the lower end face or underside 14 of the shower base body 2 is moved into the receiving space 22. The underside 14 forms a limit stop for moving the spray disc element 4 into the receiving space 22. When the spray disc element 4 is attached, its rear face 23 rests on the underside 14 of the shower base body 2. When the jet disc element 4 is subsequently loosened, it becomes Fig. 1 moved downward from the shower base body 2 and removed from the receiving space 22.

Furthermore, the shower head 1 comprises a click mechanism 11 which can be actuated in the attachment direction 10 and which is designed for the detachable fastening of each of the several jet disc elements 4 to the shower base body 2. The click mechanism 11 is arranged between or on the underside 14 of the shower base body 2 and the back 23 of the respective jet disc element 4, as in FIGS 1 to 4 to recognize. The click mechanism 11 secures the spray disc elements 4 in the opposite direction to the attachment direction 10 against detachment from the shower base body 2. It allows the respective spray disc element 4 to be attached to the shower base body 2 simply by pressing in the attachment direction 10 and release and by pressing and releasing the spray disc element 4 again Loosen the attachment to the shower base body 2 again. In addition, the click mechanism 11 is designed to detach the spray disc element 4 from the shower base body 2 in Fig. 1 to move down or eject from the receiving space 22.

In detail, the click mechanism 11 for each spray disc element 4 comprises three rigid latching extensions 24, which are arranged on the rear side 23 of the corresponding spray disc element 4, and three corresponding flexible locking arm pairs 25, which are arranged on the underside 14 of the shower base body 2. Grip when attaching or attaching a respective spray disc element 4 to the shower base body 2 the flexible locking arm pairs 25 with locking lugs 26 into locking spaces 27 on the rigid locking extensions 24. The click mechanism 11 thus forms a positive connection between the shower base body 2 and the corresponding spray disc element 4. When the spray disc element 4 moves again in the attachment direction 10, the flexible locking arm pairs 25 spring away from the rigid locking extensions 24 and the locking lugs 26 move out of the locking spaces 27 . Thus, the positive connection between the shower base body 2 and the corresponding jet disc element 4 is released.

To fix the respective spray disc element 4 on the shower base body 2 perpendicular to the spray disc surface axis 12, in particular in the radial direction, the shower base body 2 has a safety device 13. In detail, the fuse 13 comprises the outer ring 20, which surrounds the attached or attached jet disk elements 4 on the circumference and thus fixes it in the radial direction away from the jet disk surface axis 12. Furthermore, the fuse 13 comprises the inner body 21, which fixes the attached jet disc elements 4 in the radial direction toward the jet disc surface axis 12. In addition, the click mechanism 11 secures the attached jet disk elements 4 in the radial direction and direction of rotation around the jet disk surface axis 12.

The fluid feeds 7 are arranged on the underside 14 of the shower base body 2. From there they lead to the rear sides 23 of fixed jet disc elements 4 and open into them. The fluid feeds 7 also secure the jet disk element 4 assigned to them perpendicular to the jet disk surface axis 12. The shower base body 2 has its own shut-off valve 8 for each fluid feed 7. Each shut-off valve 8 is designed to be adjustable between a release position for the associated fluid supply 7 when the spray disc element 4 is attached to the shower base body 2 and a shut-off position for the fluid supply 7 when the spray disc element 4 is detached from the shower base body 2. If one of the shut-off valves 8 is adjusted to its release position, a fluid flow through the fluid supply 7 to the associated jet disc element 4 is released during use. When the shut-off valve 8 is adjusted to its shut-off position, it shuts off this fluid flow through the fluid feed 7 to the associated jet disc element 4. The shut-off valves 8 enable the shower head 1 to be attached to the shower base body 2 with the others Spray disc elements 4 can continue to be used as intended if one of the several spray disc elements 4 is detached from the shower base body 2 and is cleaned, for example.

Furthermore, the shower head 1 comprises a mechanical coupling 9 between each of the plurality of shut-off valves 8 and the spray disk element 4 assigned to it, which coupling is designed for adjusting the shut-off valve 8 by the spray disk element 4. Thus, simply attaching or detaching one of the several jet disc elements 4 is sufficient to adjust the associated shut-off valve 8. The mechanical couplings 9 are arranged between or on the underside 14 of the shower base body 2 and the rear sides 23 of the jet disc elements 4.

In the example shown, each of the mechanical couplings 9 comprises a coupling pin 28, which is arranged on the rear side 23 of the corresponding jet disc element 4 and protrudes therefrom in the attachment direction 10. The associated shut-off valve 8 comprises a valve closing body 29, which is adjustable between a release position and a shut-off position along the attachment direction 10. When the assigned jet disc element 4 is detached from the shower base body 2, the valve closing body 29 is acted upon by force at least when the shower head 1 is used in its shut-off position against the attachment direction 10. When the spray disc element 4 is or is attached to the shower base body 2, the coupling pin 28 pushes or holds the valve closing body 29 in the release position.

The jet disc elements 4 are designed as hollow bodies 15 with a fluid chamber 16, as in FIG Fig. 4 to recognize. The fluid chamber 16 is on the one hand in fluid communication with the associated fluid supply 7 when the spray disc element 4 is attached or attached to the shower base body 2 and on the other hand is in fluid communication with the fluid outlet 17 in the partial spray disc surface 5. In addition, the hollow body 15 is fluid-tight. Furthermore, the shower head 1 comprises a seal for each fluid feed 7 or each jet disc element 4, so that when in use, no fluid can flow outwards from the fluid feed 7 past the assigned jet disc element 4, but only through the hollow body 15.

In detail, the hollow body 15 has a fluid inlet area 30 on the rear side 23, as in FIGS 2 to 4 to recognize. When the jet disc element 4 is attached to the shower base body 2, the associated fluid feed 7 opens into the fluid input region 30. Furthermore, the fluid input region 30 is in fluid communication with the fluid chamber 16. A flow deflection contour or surface 31 is arranged at the downstream end of the fluid inlet region 30. The flow deflecting contour 31 is designed to deflect the fluid flow from the fluid feed 7 into the fluid chamber 16, in particular by at least 90 °. A uniform fluid distribution in the fluid chamber 16 and consequently a uniform fluid outflow from the fluid outlet 17 in the form of a shower fluid jet corresponding to the water outlet openings of the jet disc element 4 are thus achieved.

The 5 to 7 8 and 8 each show a further shower head 1 'according to the invention, not only identical, but also functionally equivalent elements being provided with the same reference numbers as in the embodiment explained above, for reference to which description reference can be made to this extent. In the embodiment of Fig. 8 The jet disc structure 3 'comprises five identical jet disc elements 4a' and two different jet disc elements 4b '. The fluid outlets 17a 'of the jet disk elements 4a' differ from the fluid outlets 17b 'of the jet disk elements 4b' in a number, an arrangement and / or a size of water outlet openings and are designed to provide different types of fluid jets. In other embodiments, any other combinations of jet disc elements with associated ones can be used Spray type can be used to form the total spray disc area. In further, not shown, alternative embodiments of the invention, the jet disk structure comprises four, five, six, eight, nine or at least ten jet disk elements and / or the entire jet disk surface is concavely curved inwards. In the embodiments shown, the jet disk elements each have a circular sector, circular cutout or circular segment shape, and the overall jet disk surface has a circular shape. Alternatively, at least one, in particular each, of the jet disc elements can have a different shape. For example, each of the jet disc elements can have a rectangular shape. The jet disc elements can then be arranged adjacent to one another and the overall jet disc surface can have a rectangular shape. Furthermore, the jet disc elements are arranged directly next to one another in the embodiments shown. Alternatively, the jet disc elements can be at a distance of up to a few centimeters from one another, for example 1 cm to 2 cm. Furthermore, in the embodiments shown, the shower base body has a circular cylindrical shape. Alternatively, the shower base body can have a different shape, which can correspond in particular to the shape of the spray disc structure or the total spray disc surface.

Furthermore, in the embodiments shown, the attachment direction runs parallel to the beam surface axis. In an alternative embodiment, the attachment direction can run non-parallel to the beam surface axis, in particular perpendicular. The shower base body and the spray disc elements can be modified accordingly. In particular, the click mechanism can be arranged elsewhere. Locking extensions can also be arranged on the shower base body and flexible locking arm pairs on the spray disc elements. Regardless of the direction of attachment, the fluid feeds can be arranged elsewhere, in particular on the outer ring and / or on the inner body.

In the embodiments shown, the respective shower head has the mechanical couplings. Alternatively or additionally, the shower head can have a different type of coupling, for example a magnetic coupling, which is designed to adjust the shut-off valve by the spray disc element. In addition, for Another of the shut-off valves eliminates the coupling and the same a user-operated control element for adjusting the shut-off valve can be assigned.

As the embodiments shown and explained above make clear, the invention provides an advantageous shower head which improves the state of the art and in particular enables simple removal or replacement of individual spray disc elements from the shower base body, the shower head being able to be used as intended.
