Definitions
- the present invention relates to a sealing tape for building construction, and in particular a sealing tape for closing, gluing and sealing joints in house construction, and in particular joints in corners and edges.
- sealing tapes in particular adhesive tapes
- Such sealing tapes are known from the prior art. These are used in particular to seal joints between windows and door frames and the corresponding edges of the respective wall opening.
- the tapes adhere well to a different base and on the other hand that the tape can be easily attached to the respective surfaces.
- the aim is to seal the respective joints airtight and permanently and in particular to permanently seal the joints airtight and vapor diffusion-resistant on the warm airtight level and open to vapor diffusion, wind and driving rainproof on the cold side windproof level.
- this tape has the disadvantage that it has only a relatively low flexibility, especially on uneven surfaces.
- the plaster can penetrate through these holes so that there is a good bond between the plaster and the tape.
- this tape is relatively stiff and, as mentioned above, adapts poorly to uneven surfaces. This also creates the risk of air ducts.
- such a punctiform bond has the disadvantage that webs that are too small produce this bond.
- a tape is also known from the prior art, which has plaster reinforcement on the edge. This creates a good bond between the plaster and the tape.
- this band is also relatively stiff.
- the plaster reinforcement is placed in the upper third of a plaster.
- this reinforcement can also detach from the band, since this band is an inhomogeneous material. After all, in this case it is only possible to carry out a differential pressure measurement process after plastering.
- a prior art sealing tape is made DE20216955 U known.
- the present invention is therefore based on the object, on the one hand, of providing a tape with increased flexibility, which thus also allows adaptation to different surfaces and also a favorable penetration of plaster. According to the invention, these objects are achieved by the subject matter of the independent patent claim. Advantageous embodiments and further developments are the subject of the dependent claims.
- a sealing tape according to the invention for sealing building elements has a carrier tape extending in a longitudinal direction of the tape and an adhesive section arranged on the carrier tape (which can be designed, for example, as a self-adhesive strip), which also extends in the longitudinal direction of the sealing tape.
- a multiplicity of projections are arranged on the carrier tape, which at least also extend in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, recesses being arranged between these projections.
- An extension (also) in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction is understood to mean that the projections do not have to extend exclusively in the longitudinal direction, but the extension also has at least one component in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (runs approximately obliquely to the longitudinal direction).
- a length of the individual projections running in the longitudinal direction changes.
- the projections are not rectangular, but have different lengths or widths running in the longitudinal direction.
- the length of the protrusions changes, especially when viewed in the transverse direction.
- its extent in the longitudinal direction can be different.
- a distance running in the longitudinal direction between two adjacent projections changes depending on the direction of extension.
- the recesses do not have a constant length or width in the longitudinal direction, but rather change depending on a distance in the transverse direction from the carrier tape.
- the projections are designed in such a way that the distance between two projections starts from the carrier tape initially enlarged and then reduced again after exceeding a maximum.
- the distance when viewed - starting from the carrier tape - is thus advantageously at least once larger and at least once smaller.
- the width of a projection in the longitudinal direction of the band preferably has at least one (local) minimum and at least one (local) maximum.
- other configurations of the projections would also be conceivable.
- two adjacent projections are connected to one another only via the carrier tape.
- the recesses between the projections in the transverse direction are open at least in one direction. This does not mean perforations or holes in the tape.
- the band advantageously also has no perforations or holes.
- Said recesses are preferably suitable and determined so that plaster can pass through them.
- the recesses preferably have cross sections which differ from circular cross sections. At least one recess is preferably delimited by at least one curved edge section. A plurality of recesses are preferably delimited by at least one curved edge section. At least one recess is preferred and a plurality of recesses are preferably delimited by a plurality of curved wall sections. Furthermore, it would also be possible for the recesses to be delimited by a peripheral edge. In addition, however, the recesses could also be only partially limited or by a non-circumferential edge.
- This shape of the projections which is preferably a “lens shape”, enables a good bond with the plaster.
- pulling the tape out of the plaster is no longer possible without destruction, as is explained in more detail below in the description of the figures.
- the carrier tape and the projections are preferably formed in one piece.
- the carrier tape and the projections preferably consist of a uniform material.
- This configuration of the carrier tape and the projections from a homogeneous material enables a higher stability of the tape as a whole to be achieved and it can also be avoided that the projections easily detach from the carrier tape.
- the carrier tape and the projections preferably also have a uniform thickness. This thickness is preferably between 0.01 mm and 2 mm, preferably between 0.02 mm and 2 mm and particularly preferably between 0.2 mm and 2 mm.
- the self-adhesive strip mentioned above is preferably shorter in a transverse direction of the tape than the carrier tape.
- the carrier tape is coated, for example, only in one section with a self-adhesive layer and a further section of the carrier tape is provided which is designed to be adhesive-free.
- Such a material has a good adhesive property for wall plaster.
- So-called monilithic membranes can be used for the material, for example moisture-adaptive foils and / or sealing membranes with a variable sd value.
- a material can be used that has a rough surface. This rough surface can be achieved by a knitted fabric, spider or braid. Such materials have a three-dimensional structure, which lead to a high claw area for the plaster.
- the self-adhesive strip is preferably spaced from the projections or separated by a central section provided with non-binding adhesive.
- a spacing of the projections or the recesses, also from the median strips, can prevent the recesses from causing leaks if a joint to be sealed is not covered by the median strip itself.
- a material is preferably used for the tape, which has a good adhesive property for wall plaster. More specifically, a material which is based on the the side facing the plaster has a good adhesive property for wall plaster.
- the above-mentioned open-pore material can also increase the connection between the wall plaster and the support layer and thus also the adhesive connection of the sealing tape to a substrate. In addition, breaking out or detaching of masonry or parts of the wall plaster can be avoided.
- the sealing tape according to the invention can generally be used in building construction, i. H. for example in house construction, administration building construction, building construction, and the like.
- a (removable) cover layer or cover film can be arranged on the self-adhesive layer. In this way, storage of the material is also simplified, since this cover film is only removed immediately before use or before the sealing tape is attached.
- the area of the projections and the recesses adjacent thereto is preferably of the same size. It is thus possible for the recesses to have the same surface shape as the projections are only rotated 180 ° with respect to them, for example. In this way, it is also possible to arrange two identical sealing tapes next to one another, the projections of one sealing tape entering or engaging in the recesses of the other sealing tape. Even with such a configuration, however, it would be possible for the recesses to be somewhat larger than the projections, so that plaster can pass through appropriate spaces.
- cover film mentioned above it would be possible for the cover film mentioned above to also have a slot in the longitudinal direction of the tape. This procedure makes it easier to remove these cover foils.
- the self-adhesive section of the tape can be made from butyl and synthetic rubber mixtures and polyacrylates or can have polyisobutylene.
- Pressure sensitive adhesives which have self-adhesive properties at room temperature, are preferably used for the self-adhesive section of the tape.
- At least one projection advantageously has a curved edge.
- one projection, and preferably several projections can be kidney-shaped be.
- the projections it would also be possible for the projections to run in a straight line, but in the process, in particular, to widen or taper depending on a distance from the carrier tape. This configuration of the projections means that shear forces in the plaster can be better transmitted. This is also explained with reference to the figures.
- the carrier tape (apart from the recesses between the projections) is preferably designed without holes.
- the section of the carrier tape on which the projections are arranged can be designed without holes.
- a boundary edge of the projections preferably has a curved course at least in sections.
- the projections preferably have no corners and particularly preferably have a completely curved course.
- a PP spunbonded fabric can preferably be used as the material of the band. Such a material is very easy to plaster over. However, other types of nonwovens can also be used. In addition to PP, PE, PET, acrylate and the like can also be considered as materials.
- the use of the sealing tape according to the invention can prevent a loss of production, for example due to incorrect or inadequate attachment of the tape.
- the sealing tape according to the invention has better anchoring in a plaster because, as mentioned above, the shear forces in the plaster can be better transmitted through the wave cut.
- the sealing tape described here can also be used for renovations in the area of wooden buildings or wooden anchor construction methods.
- the adhesive section is formed by an adhesive arranged at least in sections on a carrier. It is conceivable that the adhesive is arranged over the entire surface of the carrier. However, it would also be conceivable and advantageous in some applications if the adhesive was applied only in sections, for example in strips or in spots (or in the manner of a grid coating). For example, the adhesive could be arranged over the entire surface but not covering the sealing tape or the carrier.
- the adhesive section is preferably formed by an adhesive tape coated on two sides with an adhesive, preferably on at least one of the two sides of the adhesive can also be applied only in sections.
- any suitable mass such as e.g. Wants to attach silicone, polyurethane, MS polymer, synthetic rubber, etc.
- silicone e.g., silicone, polyurethane, MS polymer, synthetic rubber, etc.
- these substances can be applied to the substrates or joining partners, for example from cartridges, tubular bags or other containers.
- the sealing tape itself (for example) has (only) a self-adhesive strip which serves as an assembly aid for the tape (in particular in order to attach it to a joining surface).
- sealing tape has self-adhesive zones, these can be designed in different ways. For example, it would be possible that there is only one strip (for mounting on a window frame) on the sealing tape. In this case, the other end of the sealing tape could be glued to the masonry with an additional adhesive, such as a cartridge adhesive.
- the above-mentioned section coating with the adhesive can be used to reduce / decrease the sd value of the sealing tape.
- an adhesive coating only on the edge could also be provided, for example an adhesive layer running at the edges or a coating in the form of diagonally offset strips arranged with respect to an upper side and / or a lower side of the sealing tape.
- the above-mentioned double-sided coating could be designed differently on the two sides. It would be conceivable that a coating located on the side of the tape facing the masonry is formed over the entire surface and that only a narrow adhesive zone or, for example, a strip-like or caterpillar-shaped one is formed on the opposite side. It would also be conceivable for different adhesives to be used for the respective coatings. For example, butyl rubber mixtures could be used on the side facing the masonry and / or polyacrylate adhesives on the side facing the joining surfaces, in particular if these joining surfaces consist of wood, plastic or metal or have these materials.
- Fig. 1 shows a schematic representation of a sealing tape 1 according to the invention.
- This sealing tape 1 extends here in its longitudinal direction L and can also be applied in the longitudinal direction L to a wall.
- the tape is made from a uniform material.
- the reference numeral 8 relates to an adhesive section, ie a section in which a carrier of the tape is provided with an adhesive layer.
- the reference number 2 denotes a carrier tape.
- a plurality of schematically illustrated projections 12 are arranged on this carrier tape 2 and there are recesses 14 between these projections. It can be seen that these recesses are open to the outside, ie in the transverse direction Q.
- the transverse direction Q runs perpendicular to the longitudinal direction L and thus also represents the direction in which the projections 12 extend or the preferred direction of this extension.
- FIG 2 shows an illustration of a plurality of protrusions.
- the carrier tape 2 is shown, on which the individual projections 12 are arranged.
- the areas 12a and 12b show the undercut areas of the projections, ie areas of the projections 12 which undercut the recesses 14 lying between them to a certain extent. If plaster comes to rest in these areas when the tape is attached, these sections 12a each undercut the cleaned areas. The areas 12a, 12b thus absorb the force against being pulled out of the masonry or the concrete.
- the reference symbol D denotes the widths of these sections 12a and 12b. In Figure 2 these widths are shown in different sizes, but they are preferably the same size.
- the reference numeral 10 relates to plaster or to masonry lying under the recesses 14.
- L1 and L1 a, L1 b and L1 c denote the respective lengths of the projections in the course of the overall longitudinal direction L. It can be seen that with increasing distance Q from the carrier tape there is initially a length L1 c, which then decreases to one length L1 b, this in turn increases to length L1 and this eventually decreases to length L1 a. At the in Figure 2 shown representation, the edges of the recesses 12 are completely curved. However, it would also be possible to provide straight lines instead.
- Figure 3 shows an illustration of an installation of a sealing tape according to the invention in a masonry.
- the reference numeral 10 designates the actual masonry and the reference numeral 20 a plaster.
- the adhesive is arranged on the underside of the sealing tape 1.
- the actual sealing tape 1 is also located between the plaster 20 and the masonry 10.
- the adhesive can also be applied only in sections, such as in strips or in the form of beads of adhesive.
- Figure 4 shows a representation of two tapes 1a, 1b, which are arranged together. Due to the shape of the individual projections 12 'and 12 ", which are of the same area - but turned over - it is possible to join these two sealing tapes 1a and 1b in the manner of a zipper. This means that the projections of the one tape into the With this design, it is possible that the adhesive on the sealing tape only serves as an assembly aid until plastering in. As mentioned, the design of the projections or the undercuts can achieve better anchoring in the plaster also possible that the protrusions do not exactly enter into each other but nevertheless there are still recesses between the individual projections through which plaster can connect to the substrate. It would also be conceivable that plaster can pass through the gaps that are formed between protrusions.
- Fig. 5 shows a representation to illustrate the individual lengths or widths as a function of a distance from the carrier tape 2. It can be seen that this course has a (local) minimum or a minimum width and a local maximum or a (local) maximum width.
- Fig. 6 shows a further embodiment of a sealing tape 1 according to the invention.
- the individual projections 12 are formed with straight edges 15.
- the undercut areas 12a, 12b are also provided here, which, however, have a triangular shape here.
- the embodiment shown corresponds to the area of the projections 12 of the area of the recesses lying between these projections.
- the dashed line in Fig. 5 shows the course of the widths of the protrusions for the in Fig. 6 shown embodiment.
- the projections 12 as geometric mixed forms between the in Fig. 2 shown curved course and in Fig. 6 straight course shown are formed, such as in the form of curved side sections (as in Fig. 2 shown) and that in Fig. 6 straight section shown.

Description
The present invention relates to a sealing tape for building construction, and in particular a sealing tape for closing, gluing and sealing joints in house construction, and in particular joints in corners and edges. Such sealing tapes, in particular adhesive tapes, are known from the prior art. These are used in particular to seal joints between windows and door frames and the corresponding edges of the respective wall opening. When using these tapes, it is necessary on the one hand that the tapes adhere well to a different base and on the other hand that the tape can be easily attached to the respective surfaces. Furthermore, it is also conceivable to use such tapes for sealing joints between structural elements, for example in corners and between building exterior walls. The aim is to seal the respective joints airtight and permanently and in particular to permanently seal the joints airtight and vapor diffusion-resistant on the warm airtight level and open to vapor diffusion, wind and driving rainproof on the cold side windproof level.
However, this tape has the disadvantage that it has only a relatively low flexibility, especially on uneven surfaces.
The plaster can penetrate through these holes so that there is a good bond between the plaster and the tape. However, such an association only occurs selectively. Furthermore, this tape is relatively stiff and, as mentioned above, adapts poorly to uneven surfaces. This also creates the risk of air ducts. Furthermore, such a punctiform bond has the disadvantage that webs that are too small produce this bond.
A tape is also known from the prior art, which has plaster reinforcement on the edge. This creates a good bond between the plaster and the tape. However, this band is also relatively stiff. In addition, the plaster reinforcement is placed in the upper third of a plaster. In addition, this reinforcement can also detach from the band, since this band is an inhomogeneous material. After all, in this case it is only possible to carry out a differential pressure measurement process after plastering.
The present invention is therefore based on the object, on the one hand, of providing a tape with increased flexibility, which thus also allows adaptation to different surfaces and also a favorable penetration of plaster. According to the invention, these objects are achieved by the subject matter of the independent patent claim. Advantageous embodiments and further developments are the subject of the dependent claims.
A sealing tape according to the invention for sealing building elements has a carrier tape extending in a longitudinal direction of the tape and an adhesive section arranged on the carrier tape (which can be designed, for example, as a self-adhesive strip), which also extends in the longitudinal direction of the sealing tape. According to the invention, a multiplicity of projections are arranged on the carrier tape, which at least also extend in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, recesses being arranged between these projections. An extension (also) in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction is understood to mean that the projections do not have to extend exclusively in the longitudinal direction, but the extension also has at least one component in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (runs approximately obliquely to the longitudinal direction).
These recesses preferably separate the projections, or two adjacent projections, completely from one another. In contrast to the prior art cited above, it is therefore proposed to provide a plurality of said projections instead of holes in the material. These can - as explained in detail below - be wave-shaped so that plaster can also pass through the recesses lying between the projections. The advantage of this configuration is that such a band has a higher flexibility compared to the band known in the prior art. This means that the tape can also be processed well on very uneven surfaces. In addition, sticking the tape, for example on a wall, can reduce the risk of damage from follow-on fabric. However, it would also be conceivable that in addition to the recesses there are also connecting elements, such as webs, which connect adjacent projections to one another.
According to the invention, a length of the individual projections running in the longitudinal direction changes. This means that in particular the projections are not rectangular, but have different lengths or widths running in the longitudinal direction. The length of the protrusions changes, especially when viewed in the transverse direction. Depending on a distance of a certain area of the projection from the carrier tape, its extent in the longitudinal direction can be different. In other words, a distance running in the longitudinal direction between two adjacent projections changes depending on the direction of extension. This means that the recesses do not have a constant length or width in the longitudinal direction, but rather change depending on a distance in the transverse direction from the carrier tape.
The projections are designed in such a way that the distance between two projections starts from the carrier tape initially enlarged and then reduced again after exceeding a maximum. The distance when viewed - starting from the carrier tape - is thus advantageously at least once larger and at least once smaller.
This structure enables the sealing tape to be held in a particularly stable manner. Advantageously, the said distance initially becomes larger, then smaller and preferably then again larger. The width of a projection in the longitudinal direction of the band preferably has at least one (local) minimum and at least one (local) maximum. However, other configurations of the projections would also be conceivable.
In a further preferred embodiment, two adjacent projections are connected to one another only via the carrier tape. This means that the recesses between the projections in the transverse direction are open at least in one direction. This does not mean perforations or holes in the tape. In addition to the recesses, the band advantageously also has no perforations or holes.
This means that preferably at least one recess and preferably all recesses are open on at least one side. As mentioned above, however, connecting webs between adjacent projections can also be provided.
Said recesses are preferably suitable and determined so that plaster can pass through them. The recesses preferably have cross sections which differ from circular cross sections.
This shape of the projections, which is preferably a “lens shape”, enables a good bond with the plaster. In addition, pulling the tape out of the plaster is no longer possible without destruction, as is explained in more detail below in the description of the figures.
The carrier tape and the projections are preferably formed in one piece. This means that the carrier tape and the projections preferably consist of a uniform material. This configuration of the carrier tape and the projections from a homogeneous material enables a higher stability of the tape as a whole to be achieved and it can also be avoided that the projections easily detach from the carrier tape. The carrier tape and the projections preferably also have a uniform thickness. This thickness is preferably between 0.01 mm and 2 mm, preferably between 0.02 mm and 2 mm and particularly preferably between 0.2 mm and 2 mm.
The self-adhesive strip mentioned above is preferably shorter in a transverse direction of the tape than the carrier tape. This means that the carrier tape is coated, for example, only in one section with a self-adhesive layer and a further section of the carrier tape is provided which is designed to be adhesive-free. Such a material has a good adhesive property for wall plaster.
So-called monilithic membranes can be used for the material, for example moisture-adaptive foils and / or sealing membranes with a variable sd value. In addition, a material can be used that has a rough surface. This rough surface can be achieved by a knitted fabric, spider or braid. Such materials have a three-dimensional structure, which lead to a high claw area for the plaster.
Furthermore, the self-adhesive strip is preferably spaced from the projections or separated by a central section provided with non-binding adhesive. This means that the tape can be glued smoothly at corners or edges even without crumpling, since the non-adhesive central strip means that the tape can be pressed into a corner without it sticking immediately or wrinkles during the gluing process form. A spacing of the projections or the recesses, also from the median strips, can prevent the recesses from causing leaks if a joint to be sealed is not covered by the median strip itself.
A material is preferably used for the tape, which has a good adhesive property for wall plaster. More specifically, a material which is based on the the side facing the plaster has a good adhesive property for wall plaster. The above-mentioned open-pore material can also increase the connection between the wall plaster and the support layer and thus also the adhesive connection of the sealing tape to a substrate. In addition, breaking out or detaching of masonry or parts of the wall plaster can be avoided.
The sealing tape according to the invention can generally be used in building construction, i. H. for example in house construction, administration building construction, building construction, and the like. In a further advantageous embodiment, a (removable) cover layer or cover film can be arranged on the self-adhesive layer. In this way, storage of the material is also simplified, since this cover film is only removed immediately before use or before the sealing tape is attached.
The area of the projections and the recesses adjacent thereto is preferably of the same size.
Furthermore, it would be possible for the cover film mentioned above to also have a slot in the longitudinal direction of the tape. This procedure makes it easier to remove these cover foils.
In a further advantageous embodiment, the self-adhesive section of the tape can be made from butyl and synthetic rubber mixtures and polyacrylates or can have polyisobutylene. Pressure sensitive adhesives, which have self-adhesive properties at room temperature, are preferably used for the self-adhesive section of the tape.
At least one projection advantageously has a curved edge. For example, one projection, and preferably several projections, can be kidney-shaped be. However, it would also be possible for the projections to run in a straight line, but in the process, in particular, to widen or taper depending on a distance from the carrier tape. This configuration of the projections means that shear forces in the plaster can be better transmitted. This is also explained with reference to the figures.
The carrier tape (apart from the recesses between the projections) is preferably designed without holes. In particular, the section of the carrier tape on which the projections are arranged can be designed without holes.
A boundary edge of the projections preferably has a curved course at least in sections. For example, the projections preferably have no corners and particularly preferably have a completely curved course.
A PP spunbonded fabric can preferably be used as the material of the band. Such a material is very easy to plaster over. However, other types of nonwovens can also be used. In addition to PP, PE, PET, acrylate and the like can also be considered as materials. The use of the sealing tape according to the invention can prevent a loss of production, for example due to incorrect or inadequate attachment of the tape.
In addition, the sealing tape according to the invention has better anchoring in a plaster because, as mentioned above, the shear forces in the plaster can be better transmitted through the wave cut. The sealing tape described here can also be used for renovations in the area of wooden buildings or wooden anchor construction methods.
In a further advantageous embodiment, the adhesive section is formed by an adhesive arranged at least in sections on a carrier. The adhesive section is preferably formed by an adhesive tape coated on two sides with an adhesive, preferably on at least one of the two sides of the adhesive can also be applied only in sections.
Silikon, Polyurethan, MS-Polymer, Synthesekautschuk usw. anbringen will. In certain applications, it may be desirable for the user to use any suitable mass such as e.g. Wants to attach silicone, polyurethane, MS polymer, synthetic rubber, etc. These substances can be applied to the substrates or joining partners, for example from cartridges, tubular bags or other containers. In these cases, the sealing tape itself (for example) has (only) a self-adhesive strip which serves as an assembly aid for the tape (in particular in order to attach it to a joining surface).
If the sealing tape has self-adhesive zones, these can be designed in different ways. For example, it would be possible that there is only one strip (for mounting on a window frame) on the sealing tape. In this case, the other end of the sealing tape could be glued to the masonry with an additional adhesive, such as a cartridge adhesive.
The above-mentioned section coating with the adhesive can be used to reduce / decrease the sd value of the sealing tape. In addition, an adhesive coating only on the edge could also be provided, for example an adhesive layer running at the edges or a coating in the form of diagonally offset strips arranged with respect to an upper side and / or a lower side of the sealing tape.
In addition, it would be possible for the above-mentioned double-sided coating to be designed differently on the two sides.

This ensures a high degree of flexibility of the individual projections with respect to one another and with respect to the carrier tape. This in turn leads to a high flexibility of the entire area with the projections and thus to a good adaptability to different surfaces.
