Dabei wird die zweite Formebene 11 als diejenige Ebene definiert, in der sich nach dem Schließen der zweiten Formstation 8 die innerhalb der zweiten Formstation 8 umlaufend geklemmte Oberfolienbahn 10 befindet. Die zweite Formebene 11 ist relativ zur ersten Formebene 7 parallel versetzt und höher angeordnet, nämlich um wenigstens 200 mm höher. Zum Festklemmen der jeweiligen Folienbahnen 6, 10 weisen die erste Formstation 4 und die zweite Formstation 8 jeweils ein Ober- und ein Unterwerkzeug auf, die von einer geöffneten in die in
Zwischen den beiden Formstationen 4, 8 ist in Draufsicht gesehen eine Einlegestrecke 12 vorgesehen, um ein oder mehrere Produkte 13 in die geformte bzw. nach unten tiefgezogene Mulde 5 der Unterfolienbahn 6 einzulegen. Dies kann manuell durch ein oder mehrere Bedienpersonen oder durch eine Einlegevorrichtung ausgeführt werden. Stromabwärts nach den beiden Formstationen 4, 8 ist eine Siegelstation 14 angeordnet, deren Siegelebene 15 definiert ist als die Ebene, in der sich bei geschlossener Siegelstation 14 innerhalb der Siegelstation 14 die umlaufend geklemmte Unterfolienbahn 6 und die Oberfolienbahn 10 befinden bzw. aneinander anliegen. Die Siegelebene 15, in der in der siegelfähigen Unter- und Oberfolienbahn 6, 10 eine die beiden Folien verbindende Siegelnaht 16 erzeugt wird, bildet mit der zweiten Formebene 11 eine gemeinsame Ebene. Die Siegelebene 15 ist in einer vertikalen Höhe H von der Bodenfläche 3 beabstandet. In der Siegelstation 14 wird der Deckel 9 mit der Mulde 5 entlang der Siegelnaht 16, die jeweils auf einem Flansch am Deckel 9 und an der Mulde 5 erzeugt wird, luftdicht verschweißt. Das Innere einer so erzeugten Verpackung 17 kann vor dem Versiegeln optional in der Siegelstation 14 evakuiert und/oder begast werden, um das Produkt 13 in einer modifizierten Atmosphäre für eine lange Haltbarkeit zu verpacken.An
Die Unterfolienbahn 6 wird mittels einer intermittierend eine Vorschubbewegung ausführenden Kettenführung 19 transportiert. Die Kettenführung 19 kann zu diesem Zweck auf jeder der beiden Seiten der Unterfolienbahn 6 jeweils eine Klammerkette aufweisen, die die Unterfolienbahn 6 mit Klammern ergreift und ggf. spannt, wie dies generell aus der durch Bezugnahme hierin eingeschlossenen
Um die Mulde 5 bzw. die Unterfolienbahn 6 zusammen mit dem Produkt 13 an den Deckel 9 bzw. die Oberfolienbahn 10 heranzuführen, weist die Kettenführung 19 der Unterfolienbahn 6 stromaufwärts der Siegelstation 14 eine Neigung 20 gegenüber der ersten Formebene 7 auf. Die Neigung 20 beträgt zwischen 15° und 60°, vorzugsweise zwischen 30° und 45°. Die erste Formtiefe 22, die in der ersten Formstation 4 in die Unterfolienbahn 6 erzeugt wird, beträgt z.B. bis zu 20 mm. Die Verpackungen 17 werden durch eine stromabwärts der Siegelstation 14 angeordneten Querschneidstation 25 und eine nachfolgende Längsschneidstation 26 vereinzelt und mittels eines Transportbandes 27 aus der Tiefziehverpackungsmaschine 1 heraustransportiert und einer eventuell nachfolgenden Arbeitsstation zugeführt. Die Unterfolienbahn 6 wird von einem ersten Folienspeicher 28 abgezogen und mittels Klammerketten der ersten Formstation 4 zugeführt. Die Oberfolienbahn 10 wird von einem zweiten Folienbahnspeicher 29 abgezogen und der zweiten Formstation 4 zugeführt. Diese Zuführung kann auch mittels Klammerketten erfolgen. Insbesondere könnte eine eigene Kettenführung mit einer solchen Klammerkette für die Oberfolie konfiguriert sein, um die Oberfolienbahn 10 mitsamt den darin geformten Deckeln zwischen der zweiten Formstation und der Siegelstation 14 zu führen. In einer alternativen Ausführungsform könnte eine solche eigene Kettenführung für die Oberfolie im Bereich wischen der zweiten Formstation 8 und der Siegelstation 14 entfallen. In diesem Fall würde die Oberfolie 10 mit bewegt durch den intermittierenden Vorwärtstransport der Unterfolie 6 mittels der Kettenführung 19 für die Unterfolie 6, da die Oberfolienbahn 10 stromabwärts der Siegelstation 14 an die Unterfolienbahn 6 angesiegelt ist.The

- Thermo-forming packaging machine (1) comprising a sealing station (14), a first forming station (4) for forming trays (5) into a lower film web (6) and a second forming station (8) for forming lids (9) into an upper film web (10), where said sealing station (14) is configured to create a sealing seam (16) in a sealing plane (15), where said first forming station (4) is configured to clamp said lower film web (6) in a first forming plane (7) and where said the second forming station (8) is configured to clamp said upper film web (10) in a second forming plane (11), characterized in that said first forming plane (7) is disposed at least 200 mm below said second forming plane (11), where said first and said second forming planes (7, 11) are at least approximately parallel to each other,
and in that a chain guide (19) is provided for intermittently transporting said lower film web (6), and said chain guide (19) between said first forming station (4) and said sealing station (14) has an inclination (20) which is configured to ascend from said first forming station (4) to said sealing station (14). - Thermo-forming packaging machine according to claim 1, characterized in that said sealing plane (15) is provided at a height (H) relative to a floor (3) on which said thermo-forming packaging machine (1) is arranged, and that said second forming plane (11) is provided at exactly or approximately the same height (H) or above said height (H) of said sealing plane (15).
- Thermo-forming packaging machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that said first forming plane (7) is oriented at least approximately parallel to said sealing plane (15).
- Thermo-forming packaging machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a second forming depth (23) of said second forming station (8) is at least twice that of a first forming depth (22) of said first forming station (4).
- Thermo-forming packaging machine according to claim 4, characterized in that said first forming depth (22) is up to 20 mm and said second forming depth (23) at least 50 mm, preferably 80 mm.
- Thermo-forming packaging machine according toone of the preceding claims, characterized in that said inclination (20) of said chain guide (19) is provided in the direction of production (R) downstream of a loading stretch (12).
- Thermo-forming packaging machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a loading stretch (12) for loading products (13) into said trays (5) of said lower film web (6) is provided in the direction of production (R) downstream of said first forming station (4).
- Method for operating a thermo-forming packaging machine (1) comprising a sealing station (14), a first forming station (4) for forming trays (5) into an upper film web (6) and a second forming station (8) for forming lids (9) into an upper film web (10), where said first forming station (4) prior to forming said trays (5) clamps said lower film web (6) in a first forming plane (7), where said second forming station (8) prior to forming said lids (9) clamps said upper film web (10) in a second forming plane (11) and where said sealing station (14) creates a sealing seam (16) in a sealing plane (15), characterized in that a product (13) is loaded into said tray (5) and said tray (5) is then together with said product (13) approached upwardly toward said lid (9) by way of an inclined chain guide (19) for said lower film web (6).
