  • a device for preventing the closing of a door is used, inter alia, the terminal protection. It is to be prevented that the door is closed when, for example, a child's hand is in a gap between the door and the door frame.
  • GB 2 492 989 A discloses a stopper that prevents the closing of a door or drawer. It includes a stop that can be retracted. The stopper is intended to prevent inadvertent closing of the door or drawer.
  • the DE 707 297 C discloses a device for preventing the inadvertent slamming of doors of all kinds.
  • a spring-loaded sliding latch is provided with a bolt which is guided by an angular slot and provided with a handle. The bolt is inserted in the retracted position for detecting the bolt in the angular slot portion from which it slides out when closing the door by means of the oblique leading edge of the angular slot portion.
  • DE 20 2006 017 037 U1 shows a device in which a blocking means is secured in a lock side upper corner of the door frame.
  • the blocking means may have a release position and a Occupy blocking position. In the release position closing of the door is possible, whereas in the blocking position closing of the door is prevented by the door abutting the blocking means.
  • a disadvantage is in particular that the device must be mounted in the upper corner of the door frame, so that it is difficult or impossible to reach for small people to operate the unlocking function.
  • the device can only be used for either right-hand or left-hand doors according to the relevant DIN standard. This increases the production costs.
  • the present invention has for its object to provide a device which can be attached at any height to a door on both the right and left side, and to provide a system with such a device.
  • the device comprises a blocking means and an actuating means.
  • the blocking means is adapted to be attached to the door. This can be done directly or indirectly.
  • another component of the device may be attached to the door so that the blocking means is not directly but indirectly attached to the door. In this case, it is possible that a space is arranged between the door and the blocking means.
  • the blocking means In the attached state, the blocking means can be moved between a blocking position and a release position. The movement is triggered by an actuation of the actuating means.
  • the blocking means When the blocking means is attached to the door, it blocks the closing of the door in the blocking position. In the release position it is possible to close the door.
  • the device can be mounted at any height. For example, it is possible to mount the device at a height so that a small adult person can reach the actuating means, whereas for a child this is not possible.
  • the device is mounted only on one side of the door, so that no hole through the door leaf is necessary. In this case, an actuation of the Actuator by a user only from one side of the door leaf out possible.
  • the blocking means may be designed to abut against a door frame and / or on a component arranged on the door frame. It does not matter whether the main closing edge of the door frame is on the right or left.
  • the device can be used for both variants.
  • the device comprises a locking means, which is movable from a first position to a second and vice versa.
  • the locking means is adapted to hold the blocking means in the release position in the first position. In this way, the door can be closed despite the blocking agent, without the actuating means must be operated. In other words, the blocking function can be deactivated by moving the locking means to the first position.
  • the device comprises a triggering means, which is designed to push against the door frame when closing the door and to trigger the movement of the locking means from the first to the second position.
  • a triggering means which is designed to push against the door frame when closing the door and to trigger the movement of the locking means from the first to the second position.
  • the locking means in the second position can release movement of the blocking means.
  • the locking means may be mechanically coupled to the blocking means in the first position.
  • a mechanical coupling is understood to mean, in particular, that the movement of the blocking agent is prevented by mechanical means.
  • the locking means may be acted upon with a restoring force, which is directed in the second position of the locking means in the direction of the first position.
  • a restoring force which is directed in the second position of the locking means in the direction of the first position.
  • the locking means may be magnetically formed.

  • the blocking means may be mechanically coupled to another magnet on which the magnet of the locking means exerts a magnetic force.
  • the device may comprise a deactivating means which is movable from a first position to a second position and vice versa.
  • the deactivating means may be adapted to prevent in its first position the movement of the blocking means from the release position to the blocking position.
  • a difference of the deactivating means to the locking means may in particular be that the deactivating means can be actuated by a user. The deactivating means can therefore be moved by a user from the first position to the second or vice versa. Another difference may be that no restoring force acts on the deactivating agent.
  • the deactivating means in the second position can release the movement of the blocking means.
  • the blocking means in the attached state on the door in particular in the blocking position, pivotable about a pivot axis. If the blocking means abuts against the door frame because it is in the blocking position and the door has been moved towards the door frame, the pivotability ensures that the blocking means is first slightly pivoted and then supported on the door. In this way, the forces occurring over the Blocking means forwarded to the door, without the door and / or the device is damaged.
  • the pivoting is thus ensured that the device is reliably secured to the door even after several locking operations and is not overly stressed mechanically.
  • the pivot axis of the blocking means may extend parallel to a pivot axis of the door.
  • the device may comprise a first return means which applies a restoring torque to the blocking means.
  • the device can be used again and again without intervention by a user in the manner according to the invention.
  • the restoring torque in the door-mounted state of the blocking means may counteract pivotal movement of the blocking means towards the door.
  • the blocking means if the blocking means abuts against the door frame, the blocking means is pivoted against the return torque. If no forces or only small forces act on the blocking agent, the blocking agent is pivoted by the restoring torque back to the starting position.
  • the first return means may be formed as a spring, in particular as a torsion spring.
  • a clearance between the blocking means and the door may be present in the door-mounted state of the blocking means. This clearance allows pivoting of the blocking means about the pivot axis when the blocking means abuts the door frame. In the pivoted state, the blocking means is supported by the door and forces are transmitted from the blocking means directly to the door, whereby the attachment of the device is protected at the door.
  • the apparatus may include a second return means adapted to apply a restoring force to the blocking means when the blocking means is in the release position.
  • the restoring force acting on the blocking means is directed in the direction of the blocking position.
  • the restoring force ensures that the blocking means is in the blocking position when no other force is exerted on the blocking means, for example triggered by an actuation of the actuating means. So as soon as the door is opened and the actuating means is not actuated, the blocking means is automatically moved to the blocking position. The protective function of the device is thus triggered automatically when opening the door.
  • the blocking means When the door is closed, the blocking means may be held in the release position by the door frame or by a component disposed on the door frame.
  • the blocking means may be adapted to prevent the closing of the door by abutting in the blocking position on a door frame or on a component arranged on the door frame.
  • the blocking means may comprise a projection.
  • This projection is advantageous because it can prevent a child from inserting their fingers into the small gap between the door frame and door when the door is not opened wide enough for the blocking means to reach the blocking position.
  • the blocking means is moved by the second return means somewhat in the direction of the blocking position, so that even in this state, a jamming of the fingers is prevented.
  • the projection may extend in the direction of the door frame when the blocking means in the door-mounted state with the door closed in the release position.
