  • on exerce un effort « F » (figure 6) sur la partie libre du levier 31 de façon à permettre la rotation de l'ensemble formé par le patin 20 et le dispositif de montage manuel 30 jusqu'au « clippage » complet du patin 20 sur la semelle 10 de la pédale.

Claims (9)

  1. A device (30) for manually fitting a vehicle pedal pad (20), the pedal including a soleplate (10) and a pad (20) mounted by clip-fastening on said soleplate (10) and said pad (20) comprising a "clip" (22) intended to be "clip-fastened" in a through-orifice (12) of the soleplate (10), characterized in that said device (30) for manual fitting includes a substantially tubular body or "lever" (31), a bearing means (32), situated at a first end (31A) of said lever (31), to permit the lever (31) to bear against a lateral part (11) of the soleplate (10), and a pushing means (33), protruding from the lever (31) and at a predetermined distance ("D") from said first end (31A) of the lever (31) to permit the clip (22) to be pushed in the orifice (12) of the soleplate (10) of the pedal by exerting a manual force on the lever (31).
  2. The device according to claim 1, characterized in that said bearing means (32) has a form folded in a "U" shape, which is composed of a first, rigid, plate (32A), substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis ("XX") of the lever (31) and a second, rigid, plate (32B), which extends the first plate (32A) and is directed substantially parallel to the axis ("XX") of said lever (31), so as to permit a bearing on said lateral part (11) of the soleplate (10).
  3. The device according to any one of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the bearing means (32) has a lateral length ("L") determined so as to permit, on mounting of the pad (20) on the soleplate (10), the lateral positioning of the fitting device (30) in abutment on the pad (20).
  4. The device according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that said pushing means (33) has the form of a bearing head (33A) linked to the lever (31) by means of a fixed and rigid tubular foot (33B), inclined towards the bearing means (32) by an angle ("σ") in the order of or close to 45° with respect to the longitudinal axis ("XX") of the lever (31).
  5. The device according to claim 4, characterized in that said bearing head (33A) is linked to the tubular foot (33B) by means of a threaded shaft (33C), which is integral with the bearing head (33A) and which is intended to cooperate by screwing with a tapping provided in said tubular foot (33B), such that said bearing head (33A) is at an adjustable distance with respect to the lever (31).
  6. The device according to any one of claims 4 and 5, characterized in that said pushing means (33) can be a support of the type selected from the following different supports: a contact support of the pointwise type, a linear contact support or a contact support of the barrel type.
  7. A method for manual fitting of a vehicle pedal pad, characterized by the following steps in combination:
    1) a pad (20) is put in place on the soleplate (10) of the pedal, the clip (22) being situated facing the through-orifice (12) of said soleplate (10),
    2) the device (30) for assisting in the manual fitting according to any one of claims 1 to 6 is put in place on the assembly thus formed by the pad (20) and the soleplate (10), the first end (31A) of the lever (31) resting, by means of the bearing means (32), beneath a side (11) of the soleplate (10) of the pedal, and the lever (31) being positioned laterally in abutment on said assembly of soleplate (10) and pad (20),
    3) a force ("F") is exerted on the free part of the lever (31) so as to permit the rotation of the assembly formed by the pad (20) and the device (30) for assisting in the manual fitting, up to the complete clip-fastening of the pad (20) on the soleplate (10) of the pedal.
  8. A vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle, characterized in that it comprises at least one pedal with a pad (20) fitted manually on said pedal according to the method for manual fitting according to the preceding claim.
  9. The vehicle, in particular motor vehicle, according to claim 8, characterized in that said pedal is one of the following pedals: brake pedal, clutch pedal, accelerator pedal.
