Definitions

  • the invention relates to a deposit collection system comprising a devaluation unit for irreversibly destroying input disposable goods. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for monitoring such a deposit-return system.
  • Known deposit return systems which are often referred to as reverse wending machines, include a front unit into which the disposable material is entered. Subsequently, the disposable material is transported via a sorting line to a Kompaktor in which the disposable material is provided via a devaluation unit for irreversible destruction of the input disposable material and to reduce the volume of the disposable material is compacted before the disposable material is then collected in a container. The person who has entered the disposable good will be credited according to the deposit amount.
  • the document DE 10 2010 036923 A1 discloses an arrangement for taking back empties containers, which comprises a recognition device for identifying the empties container provided with a characteristic feature.
  • a deposit return withdrawal system in which a microphone is arranged in the vicinity of a devaluation unit, with the aid of which the noise generated when hitting disposable goods on the cancellation system are recorded.
  • specific frequencies are determined, which are then compared with stored typical frequencies of the noise generated when the disposable goods hit the invalidation unit. With the help of this comparison in particular malfunctions should be recognized.
  • Fraud attempts are known in which the disposable material is intercepted within the sorting path between the front unit and the Kompaktor and fed again to the front unit, which leads to the pledge of the disposable good is credited multiple times, since the detection and credit is already on the front unit.
  • sensors are provided on the sorting path, which are intended to detect a removal of disposable material from the sorting path.
  • fraud attempts in which these sensors are manipulated or bypassed.
  • a sound detection unit for detecting the sound produced when the disposable good is destroyed by the cancellation unit.
  • a memory element At least one setpoint value of at least one characteristic size of the sound produced when destroying the disposable good is stored.
  • a control unit compares this stored setpoint value with at least one actual value of this characteristic variable of the sound detected via the sound detection unit via the sound detection unit.
  • At least one further desired value of a further characteristic variable of the sound is stored in the memory element, the control unit also comparing this desired value with at least one actual value of this further characteristic variable of the detected sound determined with the aid of the sound detection.
  • characteristic quantities are, in particular, the amplitude and / or the frequency responses of the sound. These sizes can be easily captured and form a reliable detection of the respective disposable goods.
  • the setpoint values for the characteristic quantities stored in the memory element have been determined experimentally in advance in particular.
  • the disposable product types may be, for example, PET bottles, cans or glass bottles.
  • the deposit-return system includes a sensor for detecting the input disposable good. Through this sensor, the system detects which disposable items have been entered so that the controller can use the appropriate setpoint from the storage element.
  • the sensor is, in particular, the same sensor with which the disposable material is recognized by default in the case of deposit-return systems as it is being input.
  • it may be a barcode reader which reads the barcode applied to the disposable item for removal.
  • the deposit-return system comprises in particular a front unit and a separate Kompaktor in which the devaluation unit is arranged.
  • the front unit and the Kompaktor are connected to each other in particular via a sorting path, wherein the sensor is arranged for detecting the input disposable good in particular in the front unit.
  • a cutting unit is arranged in the compactor, via which the input disposable material is cut and / or compressed. Furthermore, in the compactor in particular a container is provided, via which the compacted and depreciated disposable material is collected.
  • the sound detection unit comprises a microphone, by means of which the sound produced when destroying the input disposable goods is detected.
  • This microphone is arranged in particular in the vicinity of the cancellation unit, in particular in the vicinity of a cutting work, so that the resulting noise can be detected safely and without the influence of environmental factors.
  • the microphone detects as sound the audible noise resulting from the destruction of the disposable material, ie. That is, the microphone works in the human audible range. Alternatively or additionally, the microphone can also work in the non-human audible range, in particular in the ultrasound range. Thus, a particularly secure detection of the sound and a reliable comparison is achieved.
  • sound between 16 Hz and 20 kHz is understood to mean sound audible to the human senses.
  • sound between 20 kHz and 1.6 GHz is understood as ultrasound image.
  • the sound detection unit may also include a structure-borne sound pickup for detecting structure-borne noise arising during the destruction of the disposable material. Also via this structure-borne sound receiver, which operates in particular in the ultrasonic range, can reliably detect the destruction of the entered Disposable good can be achieved.
  • the structure-borne sound pick-up detects the structure-borne noise of at least one component of the deposit collection system, for example a housing of the deposit return system, in particular of the compactor, the validation unit and / or other components in the vicinity of the validation unit, and / or the structure-borne noise of the disposable goods.
  • the control unit deactivates the deposit-return system if the comparison of at least one actual value with the associated nominal value has revealed a deviation. This ensures that the fraud attempt is prevented. In particular, the system can only be reactivated by an authorized person so that activation is avoided without notice of the attempted fraud.
  • a deviation of the setpoint value is understood in particular to mean that the actual value is a predetermined minimum percentage or minimum absolute value of setpoint value.
  • the use of such tolerance limits ensures that the system does not attempt to commit fraud even if the deviations are minimal, presumably not attributable to a fraud attempt, and that it is unnecessarily shut down or that the consequences described below are carried out.
  • control unit outputs in the presence of a relevant deviation between the actual and the setpoint also an error message.
  • error message can be made in particular via a communication unit of the deposit return system by a central monitoring unit, so that the fraud attempt can be easily detected and logged.
  • This central monitoring unit comprises, in particular, a central computer of the company producing and / or operating the deposit-return system.
  • the deposit-return system can also include a display unit, for example a screen, via which the error message is additionally or alternatively displayed.
  • the deposit-return system may include an alarm unit that outputs an audible and / or visual alarm, if the control unit has detected a deviation between at least one actual value and the associated setpoint.
  • an alarm unit that outputs an audible and / or visual alarm, if the control unit has detected a deviation between at least one actual value and the associated setpoint.
  • a loud warning sound can be output and a flashing light can be activated.
  • a further aspect of the invention relates to a method for monitoring a deposit-return system, in which at least one desired value of at least one characteristic variable of the sound resulting from the destruction of disposable material by a devaluation unit for irreversibly destroying input disposable goods is stored in a storage element.
  • a sound detection unit By means of a sound detection unit, the sound produced by the destruction unit when destroying the disposable material is detected. Subsequently, at least one actual value of this characteristic quantity of the detected sound determined with the aid of the sound detection unit is compared with the stored desired value.
  • control unit also gives an error message if a relevant deviation between the actual value and the nominal value exists out.
  • the error message can be made in particular via a communication unit of the deposit return system by a central monitoring unit, so that the fraud attempt can be easily detected and logged.
