Description

TECHNISCHES GEBIETTECHNICAL AREA

The present invention relates to a sanitary device with an integrated throttle according to the preamble of claim 1.

STAND DER TECHNIKSTATE OF THE ART

The DE 31 28 525 shows a water closet with an insert. The insert has a channel with an inlet opening and a plurality of outlet openings. The cross section of the outlet openings can be adapted to the flushing water pressure by means of an inner part that can be inserted into the insert.

A disadvantage of the technical teaching of DE 31 28 525 is that a setting must be made before connecting the water closet basin. After the setting has been made, the water closet basin is connected to the flushing line. A first flush can then be triggered and only then can the installer recognize whether the setting was good or still needs to be optimized. If a further adjustment would be necessary, the flushing line must be dismantled again and the insert can only be changed after this. The installer can only see whether the readjustment was good after he has connected the flushing line and triggers a first flush.

Similar disadvantages arise from the US 2010/0207043 which discloses a noise reduction element in connection with a toilet.

According to the invention, the throttle element comprises a retaining section, the geometry of which can be changed from an original state to an assembly state during the insertion of the throttle element into the line piece and after the complete insertion of the throttle element into the line piece changes to the original state, in which the throttle element is no longer from the line piece is removable. In this context, “no longer removable” means that the throttle element is not non-destructive or cannot be removed by hand.

The arrangement of the throttle element such that it can be adjusted in the state in fluid communication with the flushing water source has the advantage that the installer can very easily adjust the throttle element to the local conditions, namely to the flushing water pressure and / or the shape of the catch basin. In particular, the installer can trigger a test flush and then check the effect of the same in the catch basin. For example, if the rinsing water spills over into the catch basin, the channel cross-section can be reduced. If the rinsing water does not reach the desired surface in the catch basin, the channel cross-section can be increased. The installer can adjust the throttle element without dismantling the sanitary article arrangement, which greatly simplifies the configuration of the sanitary article arrangement.

The sanitary article is preferably a toilet or a urinal.

The expression adjustable is understood to mean that the throttle element can be set by an installer. This means that the installer makes a setting that cannot be changed after the setting has been made. In other words, the throttle element is in the fluid with the flushing water source Connected state adjustable by hand or by a tool, the Adjustment of the throttle element is maintained after the adjustment over the entire service life of the sanitary article arrangement.

The throttle element is preferably moved mechanically relative to the channel during the adjustment and then remains in its position after the adjustment has been made, such that the position of the throttle element does not change when the water flows through.

The throttle element is arranged with respect to the sanitary article in such a way that it is accessible from outside the sanitary article in the state in fluid communication with the flushing water source.

In a first variant, the line piece is formed separately from the sanitary article and is in contact with it via a water-tight connection. In this variant, the line piece is preferably made of plastic. The line piece has a connection section which can be connected to the inlet. For example, the connection section can be inserted into the inlet and glued to the sanitary article arrangement.

In a second variant, the pipe section is an integral part of the sanitary article. The line piece forms an integrated inlet section to the said inlet.

In both variants, the parts of the throttle element which lead to a change in the channel cross section can be arranged inside the channel or outside the channel.

The throttle element preferably comprises a throttle section and a drive section. The throttle section protrudes into the channel. The channel cross section can therefore be changed with the throttle section. The drive section protrudes from the line piece, so that the drive section is accessible from outside the channel. The position of the throttle section in the channel can be changed via the drive section, as a result of which said cross-sectional change is achieved. The throttle section can particularly preferably be pivoted by twisting in the channel.

The drive section is arranged with respect to the sanitary article in such a way that it is accessible when the sanitary article is installed, so that the throttle section can be adjusted when the sanitary article is installed.

In a first embodiment, the drive section comprises a holder for a tool. For example, the receptacle can be a slot, an internal hexagon, an external hexagon or a Trox receptacle. Other shapes are also conceivable.

In a second embodiment, the drive section comprises a drive element that can be gripped by hand.

The drive section preferably comprises markings which are visible from the outside and which indicate to the installer the orientation of the throttle section in the duct.

Said throttle section preferably comprises at least one flat area which is designed to be pivotable about a pivot axis in the line piece. The channel cross-section can be changed by swiveling the flat area. If the flat area with its main planes is in the direction of flow, the maximum cross section is provided. If the flat area with its main planes is transverse to the direction of flow, the minimum cross section is provided.

Particularly preferably, two planar areas extend away from the pivot axis and are oriented in a plane running through the pivot axis.

The throttle element preferably comprises a bearing section between the drive section and the throttle section. The wall comprises a bearing opening in which the throttle element is pivotably mounted via the bearing section. The bearing opening preferably penetrates the wall, so that the throttle element can be inserted into the channel via the bearing opening. Is preferably between the storage section and the storage opening Sealing element, in particular an O-ring, arranged. The sealing element ensures that no rinsing water can escape through the storage opening.

Furthermore, the sealing element can increase the friction between the bearing opening and the bearing section, which has the advantage that the set position of the throttle element is retained.

Detent elements are preferably provided between the throttle element and the line piece. The latching elements are at regular intervals from one another,) so that the throttle element can be adjusted in a controlled manner on the basis of these intervals.

The locking elements are preferably arranged between the storage section and the storage opening. The latching elements are particularly preferably located outside the channel. The latching elements are preferably arranged in 30 ° or 45 ° increments about the pivot axis. The increments could also be divided more finely. The throttle element preferably comprises a further bearing section relative to the drive section. The line piece preferably has a receptacle in its wall, the bearing section protruding into the receptacle. The receptacle is preferably an indentation in the side wall, which extends outward from the channel.

The receptacle is preferably located opposite the bearing opening with respect to the channel.

The retention section preferably has the shape of two of the flat area protruding spring tabs. The spring clips spring into the channel when inserted and then return to their original state. In the original state, the maximum distance between the spring tabs is larger than the diameter of the bearing opening.

The distance along the channel between the inlet into the collecting basin and the throttle element is preferably at most 70 centimeters, in particular at most 35 centimeters. This ensures that the flushing water can be throttled in an effective range. The throttle element is particularly preferably not arranged in a cistern.

The sanitary article preferably comprises an access opening for actuating the throttle element. The access opening can be arranged in a side wall, for example. Alternatively, the throttle element is exposed behind a rear edge opposite the catch basin. In the alternative, the throttle element is preferably outside the sanitary article. In the installed state, the throttle element can in the alternative lie, for example, behind a front wall or a receiving frame, the throttle element then being adjustable, for example, before the final installation of the front wall or through an inspection opening.

The collecting basin of the sanitary article is preferably designed without a rim. This means that the catch basin has no overlapping edge in the edge area.

The sanitary article arrangement preferably comprises a flushing cistern as a rinsing water source, which is directly or indirectly fluidly connected to the line piece via an intermediate pipe, the said setting of the throttle element without disassembly the cistern is executable.

The throttle element is therefore between the cistern and the inlet. However, the throttle element is particularly preferably not part of the cistern.

A method for the assembly and fluidic adjustment of a sanitary article arrangement as described above is characterized in that
  • that in a first step the sanitary article arrangement is connected fluidly, in particular via the line section to the rinsing water source and via the outlet to a sewage network,
  • that a test rinse is carried out in a second step, during which the effect of the rinsing water in the catch basin is observed, and
  • that the throttling element is set in a third step on the basis of the test flushing and its effect in the collecting basin.

The first step preferably also includes the mechanical assembly of the sanitary article in the room. For example, the mechanical connection to a wall or a floor or a mounting frame.

If the result is unsatisfactory, the second step and, if necessary, the third step can be repeated.

Further embodiments are specified in the dependent claims.

BESCHREIBUNG BEVORZUGTER AUSFÜHRUNGSFORMENDESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

In the Figure 1 a sanitary article arrangement 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention is shown. The sanitary article arrangement 1 comprises a sanitary article 2 and a line piece 6, here a so-called inlet bend, via which rinsing water can be supplied to the sanitary article 2.

The sanitary article 2, which is shown here in the form of a toilet bowl, comprises a collecting basin 3, an inlet 4 opening into the collecting basin 3 and an outlet 5 leading away from the collecting basin 3. A line piece 6 is in fluid communication with the inlet 4. The line piece 6 is arranged here in the rear area of the sanitary article 2.

The line piece 6 comprises a channel 7, which is surrounded by a wall 8. Furthermore, a throttle element 9 is arranged, with which the cross section of the channel 7 can be changed for controlling the rinsing water. The line piece 6 can be connected to a rinsing water source, which is not shown here. The flushing water source can be a cistern.

The throttle element 9 is arranged in relation to the sanitary article 2 in such a way that the throttle element 9 can be set in a state in fluid communication with the flushing water source. The term adjustable is understood to mean that the throttle element 9 is set by the installer and then essentially remains in its set position over the entire period of use. Due to the corresponding arrangement of the throttle element 9, dismantling of the sanitary article 2 or the line piece 6 when setting the throttle element 9 is not necessary or superfluous. As a result, the installer can follow After connecting the sanitary article 2 to the flushing water source, set the throttle element 9.

Furthermore, the sanitary article arrangement 1 according to the embodiment shown in the figures comprises a mounting frame 22, via which the sanitary article arrangement 1 can be fastened to a mounting frame (not shown here) or a wall. Instead of the mounting frame 22, other fastening means can also be provided.

Of the Figures 1 and 2 can be clearly seen that the throttle element 9 is exposed behind a rear edge 21 of the sanitary article 2. The throttle element 9 is therefore exposed and is not covered by the sanitary article 2. In the installed state, the throttle element 9 is in the configuration shown, for example in the region of the mounting frame 22, which has a removable cover, in front of a pretext and the installer has access through the cover during installation. In an alternative embodiment, not shown in the figures, the sanitary article can have, for example, an access opening, the throttle element 9 being arranged behind the access opening.

In the Figure 2 a further perspective view of the sanitary article arrangement 1 is shown. The throttle element 9 is shown here before assembly in the line piece 6.

Of the Figures 1 and 2 can also be seen that the toilet bowl 2 shown here is a so-called rimless toilet bowl. This means that in the upper region 23 of the collecting basin 3 there is no edge projecting into the collecting basin 3. In the case of toilet bowls of this type, the setting of the flushing water cycle is important, because flushing water is to be prevented from splashing up over the upper region 23.

For the supply of the rinsing water into the collecting basin 3, the inlet 4 opens tangentially to the surface of the collecting basin 3 and a rinsing effect, preferably in the form of a rinsing swirl, is generated within the collecting basin 3. In the case of a flushing, the water therefore shoots via the mouth region 24, which represents the end of the inlet 4, into the collecting basin 3, whereupon the said flushing effect produces becomes. The rinsing water is then removed from the collecting basin 3 via the outlet 5, which lies in the bottom of the collecting basin 3. The outlet 5 can also comprise a siphon.

In the Figure 3 a partially sectioned view of the sanitary article arrangement 1 is shown. Here it can be clearly seen that the line piece 6 protrudes into the inlet 4. A sealant or a sealant / adhesive is preferably arranged at the connection point 25 between the line piece 6 and the inlet 4, so that the connection between the inlet 4 and line piece 6 is made leakproof with respect to the rinsing water.

The channel 7 of the line section 6 extends from a channel inlet 26 to a channel outlet 27. The channel outlet 27 forms part of the connection point 25 and the flushing water source can be connected fluidically to the channel inlet 26. The throttle element 9, with which the flushing water flow in the channel 7 can be controlled, is arranged between the channel inlet 26 and the channel outlet 27.

Of the Figure 3 can also be clearly seen that the outlet 5 of the sanitary article 2 opens into a siphon 28. The siphon 28 is then connected to a connecting piece 35, which can be connected to a sewage network.

In the embodiment shown, the line piece 6 is formed separately from the sanitary article 2 and is connected to it via the connection point 25. Alternatively, the line piece 6 can also be an integral part of the sanitary article 2.

Based on Figures 4 and 5 the preferred embodiment of the line section 6 with the throttle element 9 will now be described.

The throttle element 9 comprises a throttle section 10 and a drive section 11. The throttle section 10 projects into the channel 7 and the drive section 11 projects out of the line piece 6, so that the drive section 11 is accessible from outside the channel 7. In the embodiment shown, the throttle section 10 is designed to be pivotable in the channel 4 about a pivot axis S. Thus, the throttle section 10 change the cross section of the channel 7 in its area of action when pivoting about the pivot axis S.

The drive section 11 comprises a receptacle 12 for a tool. Here, the receptacle 12 is designed as a slot, so that the receptacle can receive a screwdriver. When the screwdriver rotates, the throttle element 9 can be pivoted about the pivot axis S. Other designs of the drive section 11 are also conceivable. In an alternative embodiment, the drive section 11 can comprise, for example, a drive element which can be gripped by hand. For example, wings of a wing nut are mentioned here.

The throttle section 10 comprises, as shown in the figures, at least one flat area 13. Two flat areas 13 are arranged here, each of which protrude from the pivot axis S in the same plane. The two flat regions 13 can be pivoted about the pivot axis S, as a result of which the change in cross-section of the channel 7 is achieved.

Between the drive section 11 and the throttle section 10, the throttle element 9 further comprises a bearing section 14. The wall 8 of the line piece 6 comprises a bearing opening 15, in which the throttle element 9 is mounted with the bearing section 14. When the throttle element 9 is set, the bearing section 14 is pivoted about the pivot axis S within the bearing opening 15.

The bearing section 14 and the bearing opening 15 have a substantially cylindrical shape that extends around the pivot axis S. The diameter of the bearing opening 15 is slightly larger than the maximum extent of the throttle section 10 seen transversely to the pivot axis S, so that the throttle element 9 can be inserted into the channel 7 via the bearing opening 15.

Parts of the drive section 11 extend at right angles to the pivot axis S beyond the bearing opening 15 and thus form an overhanging shoulder.

Die Kennzeichnung 32 zeigt dabei dem Installateur die Lage des Drosselabschnittes 10 im Kanal an.The drive section 11 can also include a label 32, which is symbolized here by two parts. The identification 32 shows the installer the position of the throttle section 10 in the duct.

In the embodiment shown, the storage opening 15 comprises a shoulder 29, which provides a stop for the storage section 14.

A sealing element 16 is preferably arranged between the bearing section 14 and the bearing opening 15. In the embodiment shown, the sealing element 16 is an O-ring. However, other sealing elements can also be arranged. The O-ring lies in an intermediate space 30 between the bearing section 14 and the side wall 31 of the bearing opening 15.

Particularly preferably, locking elements 17 are provided between the throttle element 9 and the line piece 6. In the embodiment shown, 15 latching grooves are arranged outside the bearing opening and latching webs are arranged around the region of the bearing section 14 of the throttle element 9. The division of the locking elements 17 around the pivot axis S is preferably regular, so that the installer can set the rotational position of the throttle element in defined increments.

Like in the Figure 4 shown, the throttle element 9 comprises a further bearing section 18 opposite the drive section 11, that is to say in connection with the throttle section 10. The further bearing section 18 is designed here as a bearing journal. The line piece 6 comprises a receptacle 19, which is provided by the wall 8. The storage section 18 protrudes into the receptacle 19. The pairing of further bearing sections 18 and receptacle 19 forms a counter bearing, so that the throttle element 9 is not displaced when there is a flow.

The receptacle 19 is located relative to the bearing opening 15 with respect to the channel 7, and the pivot axis S extends centrally through the receptacle 19. The bearing section 18 is cylindrical and extends around the pivot axis S.

The bearing section 18 directly adjoins the throttle section 10.

The throttle element 9 further comprises a retaining section 20. When inserting the throttle element 9 through the bearing opening 15, the geometry of the retaining section 20 is deformed from an original state into an assembled state. When the throttle element 9 is fully inserted into the line piece 6, as in FIG Figure 4 shown, the retention portion 20 then returns to its original state. In the original state, the retention section 20 is larger in its extent than the cross section of the bearing opening 15, so that disassembly is impossible. In the embodiment shown, the retaining section 20 comprises two retaining tabs 33 protruding from the throttle section 10. The retaining tabs 33 are designed to be resilient against the pivot axis S and are compressed against the pivot axis S when inserted in the assembled state and then spring again from the pivot axis S in the inserted state path. The retaining tabs 33 are oriented in the same plane as the flat areas 13 and thus also form part of the throttle section 10.

The distance of the channel 7 between the inlet 4, in particular as seen from the connection point 25 to the throttle element 9, is preferably at most 40 centimeters, in particular at most 35 centimeters. The distance is the channel length between inlet 4 and throttle element 9.

In the form shown, the line piece 6 has the shape of a feed line, the throttle element 9 being arranged in a partial region which runs along a straight line.

Of the Figure 5 can also be seen that the line piece 6 in the embodiment shown has an optional additional section 34, which partially opens into the channel 7. For example, a fan can be connected here.

Further from the Figure 5 the cross section of the channel input 26 and the channel output 27 can be clearly recognized. The channel entrance 26 has a cylindrical shape and is designed as a connecting piece. The channel outlet 27 has an oval shape, which with corresponds to the shape of the inlet 4 in the area of the connection point 25.

Furthermore, the sanitary article arrangement 1 comprises a cistern as a rinsing water source. The cistern is not shown here. The cistern can be directly or indirectly fluidically connected to the line piece 6 via an intermediate pipe. The said setting of the throttle element 9 takes place without dismantling the cistern.

In a method for the assembly and fluidic of the sanitary article arrangement 1 described herein, in a first step the sanitary article arrangement 1 is fluidly connected to the flushing water source via the line pieces 6. In the first step, outlet 5 is also connected to a sewage network.

In a second step, a test rinse takes place, during which the effect of the rinse water in the catch basin is observed.

In a third step, the throttling element is set based on the test flushing and its effect in the catch basin.
