Abstract

A flushing water distributor (1) for a sanitary article (2), in particular a toilet bowl or a urinal, comprises a pipe element (3) with a flushing water channel (S) extending along a central axis (M) and extending from an inlet opening (4) to at least an outlet opening (5, 6, 7), flushing water being able to be guided in a flow direction (F) from the inlet opening (4) to the at least one outlet opening (5, 6, 7) and from the at least one outlet opening (5, 6, 7) to the sanitary article (2), the tubular element (3) having a bearing section (8) on the outside with a bearing surface (9) via which the flushing water distributor (1) is directly or indirectly in a bearing point (24) of a receptacle ( 10) of the sanitary article (2) can be stored, and the bearing surface (9) is designed in such a way that the flushing water distributor (1) can be inserted into the bearing point (24) oriented around the central axis (M) with respect to its rotational position.

Description

TECHNICAL AREA

The present invention relates to a flush water distributor for a sanitary article according to the preamble of claim 1.

STATE OF THE ART

In, in particular ceramic, sanitary ware, rinse water distributors are used for better distribution of rinse water in the sanitary ware. For example, DE 33 15 926 discloses such a flushing water distributor. Three flushing water streams are provided, two of the flushing water streams flowing laterally into the toilet bowl and one of the flushing water flowing straight into the toilet bowl.

EP 3 453 805 also discloses a flush water distributor.

Toilet bowls are increasingly being designed without a flushing rim. This requires an optimal introduction of flushing water into the toilet bowl. The flush water distributors known from the prior art have the disadvantage that the flush water is not optimally directed into the toilet bowl. This can lead to an excess of flushing water from the toilet bowl or to splashes from the toilet bowl. In the case of the rimless toilet bowls mentioned, the effect is particularly disadvantageous.

DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION

Based on this prior art, the invention is based on an object of specifying a flushing water distributor which overcomes the disadvantages of the prior art. A particularly preferred object is to specify a flush water distributor which can be installed in such a way that the flush water is optimally fed into the toilet bowl.

This object is achieved by a flushing water distributor according to claim 1. Accordingly, a flushing water distributor for a sanitary article comprises a pipe element with a flushing water channel extending along a central axis, which extends from an inlet opening to at least one outlet opening, with flushing water in a direction of flow from the inlet opening the at least one outlet opening can be guided and the sanitary article can be delivered from the at least one outlet opening. The pipe element has on the outside a bearing section with a bearing surface, via which the flushing water distributor can be stored directly or indirectly in a bearing point of a receptacle for the sanitary article. The flushing water distributor can be inserted into the storage point of the sanitary article and comes into contact with the storage area with the storage point and is thus stored in the receptacle. The bearing surface is designed in such a way that the flushing water distributor can be inserted into the bearing point aligned with respect to its rotational position about the central axis.

Such a design of the bearing surface has the advantage that incorrect insertion of the flushing water distributor into the receptacle can be prevented. This ensures that the at least one outlet opening is optimally aligned with respect to the interior of the sanitary article. In this way, an optimal introduction of the flushing water into the interior of the sanitary article to be flushed can be achieved.

There is also the advantage that twisting of the flushing water distributor during use, for example by the action of force during a cleaning process, is prevented.

The rinsing water distributor is aligned with respect to its rotational position about the central axis in such a way that the at least one outlet opening is aligned in the interior of the sanitary article.

In one embodiment, at least two or exactly two outlet openings are arranged. Here, the flushing water distributor is received in the receptacle in such a way that the two outlet openings are at the same level when viewed in the installed position and can thus emit a symmetrical flow of water into the interior of the sanitary article when viewed in the direction of flow. The water flow is preferably such that the surface of the sanitary article is essentially completely wetted.

In another embodiment, at least three or exactly three outlet openings are arranged. Here, the flushing water distributor is received in the receptacle in such a way that two lateral outlet openings, seen in the installed position, are at the same level and can thus deliver a symmetrical flow of water into the interior of the sanitary article, seen in the direction of flow. The water flow is preferably such that the surface of the sanitary article is essentially completely wetted. A third outlet opening lies between the two lateral outlet openings and provides a jet in the direction of the siphon in such a way that the siphon can be rinsed out.

Preferably, the bearing surface is designed as a bearing surface encircling the central axis.

With regard to the two lateral outlet openings in both embodiments, one of the outlet openings is on the right of the central axis and the other of the outlet openings is on the left of the central axis. Particularly preferably, the two outlet openings are opposite one another with respect to the central axis, in such a way that the rinsing water can be emitted on two opposite sides with respect to the central axis.

The sanitary article is preferably a toilet bowl or a urinal. The sanitary article each comprises an interior space and a siphon. As described below, the sanitary article also has a receptacle with a bearing point into which the flushing water distributor can be inserted.

Preferably, the bearing surface has a greater extent in the direction of a first axis extending at right angles through the central axis than in the direction of a second axis extending at right angles to the central axis and at right angles to the first axis.

This has the advantage that the alignment can be achieved via the mere shaping of the bearing surface. There are therefore no additional elements to be provided.

Preferably, the first axis extends, seen in the installed position, in the vertical and the second axis extends, seen in the installed position, in the horizontal. A reverse arrangement is also possible.

Expansion in the direction of the first axis is preferably at least 10% greater than in the direction of the second axis.

[0019] It is particularly preferred that the bearing surface is not circular or non-circular in cross section when viewed across the central axis. Particularly preferably, the bearing surface is oval or elliptical in cross-section when viewed transversely to the central axis. The bearing surface can, however, also have flat surface areas in the forms mentioned.

In a particularly preferred variant, the bearing surface has two flat surface areas which are spaced apart from one another and which are each connected at the end via two semicircular surface areas.

The storage area is preferably free for the direct storage of the flushing water distributor in the receptacle. This means that the bearing surface is not covered by further elements and that the bearing surface can be brought into direct contact with the receptacle.

For the indirect storage of the flushing water distributor, a seal, in particular with a plurality of sealing lips running around the central axis, is placed between the bearing surface and the receptacle. Here the flushing water distributor is stored indirectly in the receptacle via the seal. The seal extends completely around the central axis.

The seal is preferably placed on the bearing surface prior to the assembly of the flush water distributor. The seal can be designed as a separate part from the flushing water distributor. Alternatively, the seal can also be formed integrally on the bearing surface.

Preferably, the pipe element or the rinsing water channel at the inlet opening is designed to be circular in cross section when viewed transversely to the central axis. In this way, a pipe of a flushing line with a suitable diameter can easily be connected to the flushing water distributor.

Preferably, the tubular element or the flushing water channel at the inlet opening is designed to be circular in such a way that a flushing pipe can protrude into the tubular element via the inlet opening. A seal is preferably arranged between the outside of the flushing pipe and the inside of the pipe element.

The flushing water channel extending between the inlet opening and the at least one inlet opening is delimited on the outside by a side wall, the bearing surface being at least partially spaced from the side wall and / or wherein the bearing surface is at least partially part of the side wall.

Particularly preferably, part of the bearing surface is spaced apart from said side wall and part of the bearing surface is provided by the side wall.

The spaced arrangement of the bearing surface from the side wall has the advantage that the inner cross section of the tubular element or the flushing water channel can be designed to be unaffected by the shape of the side wall.

Preferably, a baffle is arranged in the flushing water channel in front of the outlet openings, seen in the direction of flow, which divides the flushing water channel into at least one right distribution section and a left distribution section, the right distribution section leading to one of the outlet openings and the left distribution section leading to another of the outlet openings .

The at least one baffle preferably further divides the flushing water channel into a central distribution section, which central distribution section lies between the two named distribution sections and leads to a further outlet opening.

In the installed position, the further outlet opening is preferably directed downwards and serves to flush out the siphon.

Preferably, the cross section of the pipe element or of the flushing water channel is essentially circular in front of the distribution section.

The flushing water distributor preferably further comprises a fastening element with which the flushing water distributor can be fastened to the sanitary article.

The fastening element preferably has two bearing arms which protrude from the tubular element essentially transversely to the central axis and engage at a bearing point on the sanitary article.

A flushing water distributor arrangement comprises a flushing water distributor according to the above description and a flushing pipe, the flushing pipe protruding through the inlet opening into the pipe element or the flushing water channel, and wherein a seal is arranged between the pipe element and the flushing pipe.

A sanitary article, in particular a toilet bowl or a urinal, comprises a receptacle for a flush water distributor of the above description or a flush water distributor arrangement according to the above description, the receptacle having a bearing point for storing the flush water distributor above its bearing surface, the bearing point being complementary or suitable is designed for the storage area.

The expression complementary is to be understood as meaning that the bearing point and the bearing surface are designed to match their shape, so that the flush water distributor can be stored directly or indirectly in the bearing point or the receptacle.

Preferably, the receptacle further has a guide area which, viewed in the direction of insertion of the flushing water distributor, is arranged in front of the bearing point, the guide area being at least partially open on the circumferential side.

The flushing water distributor and the flushing pipe are preferably made of plastic.

DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

In FIG. 1, a sanitary article 2 with a flush water distributor 1 is shown. The flushing water distributor 1 can be inserted into the sanitary article 2 and distributes the flushing water in the interior 26 of the sanitary article 2. The flushing water flows from the flushing water distributor 1 into the interior 26 and into the siphon area 27 of the sanitary article 2. The flushing water distributor 1 is connected via a flushing pipe 22 Rinse water supplied.

In FIG. 2, the flushing water distributor 1 is shown in a perspective view. The rinsing water distributor 1 comprises a pipe element 3 extending along a central axis M. The pipe element 3 has a rinsing water channel S extending from an inlet opening 4 to at least one outlet opening 5, 6, 7. Rinsing water can be guided in a flow direction F from the inlet opening 4 to the at least one outlet opening 5, 6, 7. The rinsing water can then be delivered to the sanitary article 2 via the at least one outlet opening 5, 6, 7. In the embodiment shown, three outlet openings 5, 6, 7 are arranged. A middle outlet opening 7 lies between two lateral outlet openings 5, 6. The middle outlet opening 7 is directed into the siphon area 27 and the two lateral outlet openings 5, 6 are directed towards the walls of the interior space 26.

On the outside, the tubular element 3 has a bearing section 8. The bearing section 8 comprises a bearing surface 9 via which the flushing water distributor 1 is mounted directly or indirectly in a bearing point 24 of a receptacle for the sanitary article 2. The receptacle 10 is accessible from a rear wall 28 of the sanitary article 2. The rinsing water distributor 1 can be inserted into the receptacle 10 from the rear wall 28.

The insertion of the flushing water distributor is shown in more detail in FIGS. 3 and 4. FIG. 3 shows the sanitary article 2 from behind. The receptacle 10 extends from the rear wall 28 into the interior 26. The receptacle 10 has a bearing point 24 for mounting the flushing water distributor 1. Furthermore, the receptacle 10 here comprises a guide area 25, which is arranged in front of the bearing point 24 as seen in the insertion direction of the flushing water distributor 1, the guide area 25 being partially open on the circumference.

FIG. 4 shows the flush water distributor 1 used in the sanitary article 2.

In FIG. 5, a rear view of the sanitary article 2 with the flush water distributor 1 inserted is shown. The bearing point 24 of the receptacle 10 has a shape complementary to the bearing surface 9. This means that the bearing surface 9 is designed to match the bearing point 24.

In FIG. 6, an exploded view of the flushing water distributor 1 is shown. The rinsing water distributor 1 comprises a bearing surface 9 on the outside which, as shown in FIG. 5, is designed in such a way that the rinsing water distributor 1 can be inserted into the bearing point 24, aligned with respect to its rotational position about the central axis M. In the embodiment shown, a seal 13 with circumferential sealing lips 14 is arranged on the bearing surface 9. This means that the flushing water distributor 1 is stored indirectly in the bearing point 24 of the receptacle 10. In the embodiment shown, the bearing surface 9 has a greater extent in the direction of a first axis extending at right angles through the central axis M than in the direction of a second axis extending at right angles to the central axis M and at right angles to the first axis. This means that the expansion in the direction of the second axis is smaller.

In the particularly preferred embodiment according to the figures, the bearing surface 9 has two flat surface areas 11 that are spaced apart from one another. These flat surface areas 11 are at a right angle to the second axis and run parallel to the first axis and the central axis. The surface areas 11 are each connected at the end via two semicircular surface areas 12. The bearing point 24 is formed in the same way. The bearing point 24 also has surface areas which are connected via two semicircular surface areas 12.

In other embodiments, the bearing surface 9 can also be oval or elliptical in cross section, seen transversely to the central axis M. A non-round training is an advantage.

In the embodiment shown, the bearing surface 9 extends completely around the central axis and is not directly part of the side wall 18, which delimits the flushing water channel S on the outside, is arranged. This means that the bearing surface 9 is here at least partially at a distance from the side wall 18.

In the case of the inlet opening 4, the tubular element 3 has a circular cross-section when viewed transversely to the central axis M. The circular cross section is advantageous because a flushing pipe 22 with a corresponding seal 23 can be pushed into the pipe element 3 or the flushing water channel S via the inlet opening 4. The cross section of the pipe element 3 or the flushing water channel S is independent of the cross section of the bearing surface 9.

With reference to the sectional illustration of FIGS. 7 to 10, the structure of the flushing water distributor 1 in the area of the outlet openings will now be explained in more detail. In the flushing water channel S, seen in the direction of flow F, at least one guide wall 29 is arranged in front of the outlet openings 5, 6, 7. In the embodiment shown, various guide walls 29 are arranged. The guide walls 29 are part of an insert 30. The insert 30 is formed separately from the pipe element 3 and can be partially inserted into the flushing water channel S. The insert 30 thus partially protrudes into the flushing water channel S and is correspondingly attached to the pipe element 3. The at least one guide wall 29 divides the pipe element 4 into a right distribution section 25 and a left distribution section 16. Furthermore, the pipe element 4 is divided into a central distribution section 17, which lies in the central distribution section 17 between the two named distribution sections 15, 16 and leads to a further outlet opening 7.

The flushing water distributor 1 further comprises a fastening element 19, which is shown in FIG. The fastening element 19 is used to fasten the flushing water distributor 1 to the sanitary article 2. The fastening element 19 has two bearing arms 20 which protrude from the tubular element 3 essentially transversely to the central axis M. The bearing arms 20 rest at a bearing point 24 on the sanitary article 2 or engage in the bearing point 24.
