Description

The invention relates to a window or door leaf with a glass element, which comprises at least two glass panes held together by a spacer to form a space between the panes, wherein means are provided on the spacer for filling the space between the panes with a fluid and / or for draining a fluid from the space between the panes . In this way, the space between the panes can be refilled with a fluid such as a gas and / or a liquid if necessary.

The DE 43 18 192 A1 discloses triple glazing for windows, the spaces between the panes of which can be traversed by liquids or gases. A pump is provided for the liquid delivery, the input side of which can be connected to four different tanks.

Multiple glazing with spaces between the panes that allow fluid to flow through are also in the DE 200 00 763 U1 and in the FR 2 555 648 A1 disclosed.

In the DE 25 38 489 A1 discloses an insulating glass pane, in the spacer of which a cartridge with liquid gas is arranged.

It is an object of the invention to expand the design options for window or door sashes.

The problem is solved by a window or door wing with the features of claim 1.

In a window or door sash according to the invention, at least one fluid refill container is provided, which is fastened to the spacer, preferably replaceably, and can be brought into fluid connection with the space between the panes. If necessary, fluid can thus be introduced from the refill container into the space between the panes, for example to expand the design options of the window or the door. The fluid refill container contains a colored gas. By using a colored gas, it is possible to design the color of a glass element of a window or door leaf as desired or to change it if desired.

The spacer preferably comprises at least one bushing provided with a valve arrangement. Through the passage, fluid to be drained can get out from the space between the panes and / or fluid to be refilled can get into the space between the panes.

The fluid refill container can also contain a heat-insulating gas, in particular krypton or argon. A user can thus, for example, increase the heat-insulating effect of a window or a door at the push of a button.

A further embodiment of the invention provides that the glass element comprises at least three glass panes which are held together by at least one spacer to form respective inter-pane spaces, separate means for filling the respective inter-pane space with a fluid for at least two and preferably for each of the inter-pane spaces and / or are provided for draining a fluid from the respective space between the panes. The relevant spaces between the panes can thus be filled differently.

In the case of a wing that is glazed more than twice, it can also be provided that a refill container for the respective space between the panes is attached to each spacer. This opens up the possibility of filling each space between the panes with its own fluid assigned to it.

It can be provided that one of the refill containers contains a heat-insulating gas and another of the refill containers contains a colored gas.

A window or door sash according to the invention can include a fitting that is not claimed for actuating a window or door lock.

In the case of multiple glazing, the space between the panes is used in particular for thermal insulation. For common windows or doors, the fitting is attached to a frame of the sash. In particular, the fitting can be arranged partially or completely in a fitting groove of the casement profile. Depending on the design of the window or door, the fitting serves different purposes such as, for example, storing the sash on a frame or adjusting the sash to a pivoting, tilting or sliding position. A wing can also be understood to mean an element of fixed glazing, which is inserted into a corresponding opening, for example a window frame, for example by means of a snap fitting during assembly.

The fitting can be attached to at least one of the glass panes and / or to the spacer of the glass element or form part of the spacer. This configuration is based in particular on the knowledge that the spacer which is present anyway in the case of multi-glazed panes is sufficiently stable to function as a bracket. The window or door sash then does not necessarily have to be equipped with a sash frame, but can to a certain extent consist entirely of glass. If necessary, a sash frame can be provided despite the fitting being attached to the spacer.

Due to the attachment of the fitting to the spacer, a glass wing including the associated fitting can easily be combined with a conventional frame profile, for example made of plastic or wood. The shape and / or the width of the spacer are therefore preferably adapted to a predetermined frame profile. A window manufacturer can then use existing sash frame profiles when providing a sash according to the invention with a frame. He does not have to worry about the provision of a fitting, since it is already integrated in the glass leaf.

It should be pointed out that a glass pane in the sense of the invention can in principle be made of any transparent material, e.g. from a glass material in the strict sense, from plexiglass or from a transparent plastic. A combination of different materials is also conceivable.

The fitting is preferably held on the window or door wing exclusively by at least one of the glass panes and / or by the spacer. The fitting can thus be completely integrated into the spacer or itself part of the spacer, so that none Sash frame for storing hardware components is required. The window or door wing can in particular be designed as a frameless glass wing. Such an all-glass wing has a particularly appealing visual appearance.

The spacer can e.g. B. made of aluminum or a fiber composite, in particular made of a glass fiber reinforced plastic. Such materials have a sufficiently high stability to safely carry the fitting. At the same time, the specific weight of the materials mentioned is comparatively low.

An embodiment not claimed provides that the spacer is designed as a circumferential edge bond, the glass panes projecting at least in regions beyond the edge bond and thus defining a receiving space for the fitting. The fitting can then be hidden to a certain extent in the receiving space so that it does not impair the visual appearance of the wing.

The fitting is particularly preferably completely accommodated in the receiving space, so that no fitting parts projecting beyond the wing edge are visible from the outside.

A further embodiment, which is not claimed, provides that at least one accessory device for the window or the door, in particular a drive for moving the window or door leaf relative to a frame of the window or the door, is further arranged in the or another receiving space. In this embodiment, the receiving space is therefore used to provide a window or a door with additional functionality.

A window or door sash not according to the invention can also be provided with at least one heating and / or cooling device, in particular with a Peltier element. Such a device can be provided in the area of the spacer or on one of the glass panes. The use of a Peltier element is advantageous in that one side of the wing can be heated by power supply and the other side can be cooled at the same time. The page assignment can be reversed by reversing the polarity, so that e.g. B. an interior can be cooled in summer and heated in winter. In addition, a Peltier element can be used to generate electrical energy when exposed to sunlight.

At least one ventilation element such as a rebate ventilator can also be integrated in a window or door sash not according to the invention.

A special embodiment, not claimed, provides that at least one of the glass panes is designed for automatic darkening when exposed to sunlight. For this purpose, the glass pane can be made from a photochromatic material.

A shading device such as a roller blind can be arranged in the space between the panes, which gives the wing a further functionality.

According to a further embodiment, which is not claimed, at least one coupling element is provided on at least one outer side of the glass element and can be brought into engagement with a counter-coupling element of a casement frame element in order to attach the casement frame element, preferably replaceably, to the window or door leaf. In this way, for example, a frameless glass wing can be retrofitted be equipped with a casement. The sash frame element can be a frame-like component or a simple decorative element which only partially frames the glass sash. An interchangeable casement element has the advantage that a user can change the design of the window or door if desired, for example by attaching differently colored and / or shaped casement elements. The coupling elements can be simple mechanical connecting elements such as plug pins or guide rails. In principle, it can also be advantageous in the case of fixed glazing to provide coupling elements for interchangeable frame elements.

The coupling element preferably enables the sash frame element to be attached or pushed onto the glass element. With such a configuration, no special knowledge is required to replace sash frame elements. The replacement can be done quickly and easily.

A further embodiment, which is not claimed, provides that at least one of the glass panes has an absorption area designed to absorb radiation energy, with means for storing and / or transmitting the absorbed radiation energy being provided on the spacer. The absorption region can in particular be formed by a blackened section of the glass element. Thus, the glass element of the window or door leaf can be used for energy generation. The energy correspondingly obtained by solar and / or artificial light radiation can be stored in an accumulator, for example. By drawing current from the accumulator, accessory elements of the window or door can then be supplied with current. Thus, for example, a driven one Wings with independent power supply can be provided. As an alternative or in addition, it is possible to provide a heat store which uses the absorption area and which keeps the wing warm. Thus, e.g. B. can be prevented that the inner pane of a glass element tarnishes overnight.

According to a special embodiment of the invention, the glass element comprises at least three glass panes which are held together by at least one spacer to form respective inter-pane spaces. In particular, a separate spacer can be provided in each case between two successive glass panes. However, it is also possible for three or more glass panes to be replaced by an integral, e.g. the middle glass pane overlapping spacers are held together. With such a triple or multi-glazed wing, any spacer present can be used to attach a fluid refill container if required.

This in Fig. 1 Window shown in detail comprises a frame 11 and a wing 13 arranged in the frame 11. The wing 13 is preferably movable relative to the frame 11, that is to say rotatable, tiltable and / or displaceable. In the illustrated embodiment, the wing 13 is designed as a frameless glass wing, that is, it is formed entirely by a glass element 15. The glass element 15 here comprises three glass panes 19, which are held together by two spacers 17a, 17b to form respective pane spaces 18a, 18b. The two spacers 17a, 17b are each designed as a circumferential edge bond, with all three glass panes 19 projecting beyond the edge bond as shown, so that a total of two edge-side receiving spaces 23a, 23b are formed. Arranged in the receiving space 23a on the left in the picture is a fitting 25, which is only shown schematically and which comprises at least one displaceable driving or locking rod for actuating a closure of the window. In contrast, an electric drive 27 is arranged in the right-hand receiving space 23b in the image, which enables the wing 13 to be opened automatically. Both the fitting 25 and the drive 27 are completely accommodated in the respective receiving spaces 23a, 23b, which means that no components protrude beyond the edge of the glass panes 19.

The fitting 25 is not only arranged in the receiving space 23a, but in particular is also fastened to the associated spacer 17a. An exclusive fastening of the fitting 25 to the spacer 17a basically makes it possible to dispense with a sash frame. The spacers 17a, 17b are optionally made of a metal such as aluminum or of a fiber composite such as a glass fiber reinforced plastic. On the front outside of the glass element 15 in the picture, coupling ribs 29 are provided, onto which a sash frame element, not shown, can be attached. On the opposite outside of the glass element 15, a coupling rail 31 is provided, which has a dovetail-shaped cross section and is used to attach a sash frame element 33 with a correspondingly shaped dovetail groove 35. With the help of the coupling ribs 29 and the coupling rail 31, different sash frame elements 33 can be attached to the sash 13. In particular, the color and / or the shape of a casement element 33 can be changed quickly and easily if desired.

The fitting 25 can be designed in particular as a turn, tilt, turn-tilt or sliding fitting in a common design. If necessary, the width of the spacers 17a, 17b must be adjusted, in the case of widening at the same time the insulating effect of the window being increased.

According to the invention, means are provided on the two spacers 17a, 17b for filling the respective interspace 18a, 18b with a gas and / or for releasing a gas from the respective interspace 18a, 18b, as in FIG Figure 1B is shown in simplified form. In particular, a first gas refill container 37, which contains a heat-insulating gas such as krypton or argon, is arranged in the receiving space 23a on the left in the figure. A second gas refill container 39, which contains a colored gas, is arranged in the receiving space 23b on the right in the image. The gas refill containers are provided via respective lines 40 and passages 45 provided in the spacers 17a, 17b 37, 39 connected to the respective disc spaces 18a, 18b. Controllable valves 41 serve to selectively enable or block the fluid connection between the gas refill containers 37, 39 and the associated disc spaces 18a, 18b. In this way, if necessary, the gas contained in the relevant interspace 18a, 18b can be refilled. Likewise, a discharge of gas from the intermediate spaces 18a, 18b can be initiated via discharge lines (not shown) which pass through the spacers 17a, 17b and are provided with respective valves.

The two gas refill containers 37, 39 are detachably attached to the respective spacers 17a, 17b, so that they can be bought in cartridge form, for example. In the case of the second gas refill container 39, which contains the colored gas, a targeted darkening of the glass element 15 can be brought about by opening the valve 41.

Fig. 2 shows a window with a frame 11 and a wing 13, which is designed in principle similar to that in Fig. 1 shown wing 13 and which is in particular formed exclusively by a glass element 15. On a spacer of the glass element 15 is an in Fig. 3 Locking element not visible attached, for example in the form of a sliding locking pin. A locking part which interacts with the locking element and is attached to the frame 11 is designed as an elongated locking rail 51, on the upper side of which a stop rib 53 is provided. The stop rib 53 forms a continuous stop for the locking element along its longitudinal extent. The closing rail 51 is, as shown, in a form-fitting connection with the frame 11 and can be added to an existing frame 11 in a simple manner by sliding or plugging on will. The closing rail 51 can also be exchanged quickly and easily. The closing rail 51 ensures a uniform closing position and can be used as a support for various fitting parts if required. In addition, the clearance can be reduced by providing the closing rail 51. Instead of the individual stop rib 53, further stop and / or engagement elements can also be provided on the closing rail 51.

Another aspect not according to the invention is in Fig. 3 shown. The frame 11 'shown has a recess 55 in a corner region 54, in which a fitting part 57 in the form of an L-profile is inserted. Three differently shaped plug-in projections 59a, 59b, 59c are provided on the two legs of the L-shaped fitting part 57. These serve to attach or clip on a fitting part provided with a suitable receptacle, for example around a wing 13 such as that in FIG Fig. 1A , 1B and 2nd illustrated, to store on the frame 11 '. The plug-in projections 59a, 59b, 59c can be adapted to common, commercially available fitting parts of sashes, so that the fitting part 57 can serve as a kind of universal connection for fittings of all kinds. In addition, the fitting part 57 enables an improvement in the optical appearance of the window frame 11 'and an increase in the stability of the window.
